Although the self imposed American pandemonium has led to the temporary closure of this location, they had managed to be open just prior to all hell breaking loose for a tournament that was worth crossing the pass to participate in for a chance at amazing prizes. If you know the history of Flatstick, you know this is where their family is from, and although they have a lot more locations in Western Washington, this Eastern location is a real gem in the lineup. If I had to rank the locations, this is probably number two overall of my favorite places to visit. In all fairness, it is probably their best overall location based on size, games, and layout. Each location has their own unique charm, but after two visits here and getting exposed to the beauty of Spokane, this one is something special. Smack in the middle of downtown Spokane, only a short bus ride from the airport, you can have a great weekend trip out to the country and get back west before anyone would miss you.
The food menu here is transplanted from the South Lake Union location, so if you enjoy eating there, you will probably find something enjoyable. Unfortunately, if you're plant based, you are SOL. Not sure if they have gluten free crust, but if you have specific dietary needs, Spokane has you covered with several nearby plant based alternatives within walking distance. The games are top notch, including the best competitive Duffleboard course you will find in any of their locations. Mini golf here is also highly competitive, with completely unique holes and approaches not seen in previous locations. With the added space, they also have unique games not seen on the West Side, but since everyone has been a bunch of savage, non-mask wearing, zombies, nobody is playing anything for a while. Hopefully, they can continue to weather the storm. Places like Flatstick will leave a huge void if we lose them, but politicians really could care less. Buy local. Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Visit Spokane.
