Decent burgers. Definitely not worth the price, but when you're stuck at the airport, you don't have a lot of options. If you have time to kill and you're on an expense account, hang out and have a few drinks. If you're paying for this yourself and getting a meal for the plane, I would miss this place. Be careful to not order double fries. I ordered to go from the kiosk and it asked if I wanted to add fries. I was later told that the burger already comes with fries. I was offered to replace my $8 order of fries with an already overpriced $5 bottle of water or soda. This seems like a common mistake as people before me and after me did the same thing. The burger it self was pretty good, but certainly not worth $30, with or without overpriced fries. You end up paying for the space and the decor even with the to go order.

Was in the airport for an early flight so there weren’t many people yet. Service was mainly self-order via QR and not a lot of attentive workers, but they were kind and came around to make sure my water was filled/food was okay with a smile that honestly not a lot of us have at the airport so early haha Got a breakfast burrito and the portion size was good, very filling. The potatoes it came with was SO MUCH, i couldn’t finish it on my own but i did try. Flavor was okay, needed more salt and pepper but the eggs were perfectly fluffy. Overpriced? Yes. One of the better options in the early morning at an airport? Also yes

Google
The sign at the entry said to sit yourself (see photo). I sat myself and after 20mins I was told the area was closed. This was said to me from the bar indiscreetly. Waited 25mins for a glass of water. The $24 experience which included a glass of water, a cold breakfast burrito with fake eggs and 1 visit by the waiter was as you can imagine underwhelming and unpleasant, even by airport standards. I definitely do not recommend.

Google
We were at Newark airport and went to Guy Fieri's restaurant. The potato tower was very good, as were the drinks. The only thing missing was a little more attention from the bartenders.

I’ve always wanted to eat here when traveling through Newark airport, but I never had the time. This morning while traveling with my husband and two small children we decided to stop for breakfast. We wanted a place where we can be waited on and served items that would be suitable for young children. Not only did this place fit the bill, but the food was absolutely incredible. The portions were huge and worth the airport price. My husband and I treated ourselves to Bloody Mary’s and they were super tasty. But most importantly, our service was phenomenal. Jayme our waitress was so nice and Super attentive.

Wife and I stopped at Guy Fieri’s Flavortown at Newark Airport on 9-21-2024 at 7:00am. We wanted breakfast and coffee before our flight but had no idea what to order. We were so glad Teri-Lynn was working! What a wonderful soul. She advised us to order the Big Breakfast Burrito. Excellent choice. You can’t go wrong with the food or the prices! Coffee was hot and Teri-Lynn kept our cups full! Teri-Lynn talked to us the whole time while she worked taking care of everyone! Definitely made our day!

Google
Not too bad.. the flavor of the chicken tenders were actually tasty, I like that they flatten them it. The fries I was confused on if they ran out of a certain type and then threw anything together. lol but actually like the fact you get 3 types of fries. I ordered 2 orders of the chicken tenders… then a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, that had a very good amount of flavor. I actually ate it the next day, because by time I got home I was too tired.

Google
Ridiculous prices for sub-par to average food at best. $19 for 6 tiny wings? $18 for 3 chicken tenders and cold fries??? The only positive was our waitress Christina. She was AWESOME, but besides her, this place is a ripoff. Never coming back. ✌🏾

Yelp
Hi A few months ago, i sent a review about everything i thought about the overprice eatery, lack of service overall not a place i choose to eat. Well last week being the lack of restaurants i decided to try it again. Well, I'll say the service was better, but they still haven't with a few other issues. If you're going to charge high prices the food needs to be fresh. I ordered a chicken sandwich which was tasty, but the Chichén seemed reheated and swimming in sauce. The fries were very old and if i wasn't in a hurry i would have sent it back. What really got me very concerned that the restaurant closed off half of the seats forcing everyone to be seated all together. Finally, the server didn't tell us there was a 20 percent tip put on the order i forgot to check and i added another tip. My view it's a waste of money. The bottom line for the money it needs to be better.

Yelp
Oh my God, what an excellent experience we are flying out of Newark today, April 26, 2025 and we always get to the airport early and get something to eat and as we're walking to gate 830 we see Guy Fieri's kitchen and bar and I gotta tell you we ordered the nachos and they were actually amazing. The presentation was incredible. They are not your normal nachos. They are just over the top. Pattie got a drink and I got my standard Jamison and Ginger. She got the blue caterpillar and it was good. Here's the best part our waiter name was HANEEF and he was absolutely amazing I have to tell you if we're ever in the airport again and we have a few hours even if we're in another internal terminal we're probably gonna come over here and eat guys just amazing And what's really cool is we are leaving to go to Port Canaveral to a cruise on Carnival Venezia and they have a Guys burger place on Lidosdeck and it is amazing

Yelp
3.5 stars Guy Fieris Flavortown restaurant is located in Newark Airport. It is quite a large restaurant and had very good service. Their menu was definitely American at the core and they also had interesting cocktails. It's more carnivore focused so not the best for vegetarians/vegans but there are still options. I must mention the fries. They come out with an assortment of standard fries, steak cut, and waffle fries. Variety is the spice of life and they had it covered!
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
Took 40 minutes for my food to come out only for the wrong food to show up. Was told it would be an hour to get a refund when my flight was boarding in 10 minutes. Total bs and genuinely such a scam
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
Sorry for the workers there who had to prepare and present marginal food on unsanitary cafeteria trays. The Coke was good, everything else awful. Fieri needs to cover his name in a black drape and apologize. Lot of glitz, primo location, all for naught.

Yelp
For flights departing out of the left wing of Terminal A, this bar seems to be one of the few that are in the vicinity of the area. One that doesn't require venturing out to the center wing of the terminal. I didn't have any food, but at least the drink options seemed decent. Nice wrap around bar so there are plenty of seats available. I think the kitchen wraps up around 9pm or so, so plan ahead if needed. For rookies in aviation, ignore the branding of the stock restaurants & bars in any airport as that is often a licensing deal only and is almost never actually a representation of the respective restaurant itself.

Yelp
Our waitress, Shelley, was amazing. So sweet and hospitable, she started our trip off with good vibes. The food was delicious- we ordered the Big Burrito and the Avocado Toast. The Big Burrito came with homestyle potatoes and was true to its name a big portion packed with all the delicious ingredients. It was very flavorful. The Avocado Toast had plenty of avocado and was topped with a delicious pico de gallo and pickled onions on the side. The avocado had no fillers either which was great. Service was also fast and Shelley went above and beyond. Would come back next time I'm traveling!

Yelp
Located in Terminal A in the Newark airport is the perfect stop for drinks, phenomenal Butgers and Chicken dishes as well as comfort and a chance to catch any sporting event while waiting for your flight. Our server was terrific. He took our order immediately as we ordered our Savignon Blanc & oz serving and one of the best burgers I've had on a long time. The Big Phillly Burger was delicious Shaved Ribeye with. carmalized onions , provolone cheese, bell pepper with crispy onion straws and a Brioche bun. The fries were piled up and a thick, huge portion. What an amazing burger with plenty of the ribeye piled up. Have to go into this hungry. The bar is extremely comfortable and the service is top notch. I don't seem to find the right places to eat and drink with a great number of TV screens to watch but this is finally it. I wish Guy Fieri had this location in every airport. Look forward to waiting for my gate here again!!!

Yelp
Pretty mediocre place overall. It's definitely not a flavortown in anything more than the name. We went to the prepared foods section, with stuff in the refrigerator and snacks available, nothing special. Tried the Chicken Caesar Wrap and it was fine. Everything pretty overpriced, as expected in the airport. Wouldn't go again or really recommend; the chains are probably a better bet for takeout food to eat on the plane.
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
I stopped here for lunch due to an unexpected 6 hour flight delay in Terminal A. I was looking for good food & cold drinks to pass the time. This place understood the assignment. The pulled pork nachos and the chicken tenders hit the spot.
google avatar

Trevor B.

Yelp
Terrible food, terrible service. Looks like a nice place to sit and eat, but it was far from that. The food was overpriced, fast food quality burger and chicken sandwich for $20+. The only thing good were the French fries. A small mediocre salad was also $16+. The servers were rude and rarely checked in on the tables. Choose anywhere but here to eat.

Phil D.

Yelp
Good food Great service Burger solid and juicy Chicken sandwich tasty but no need for the spice kick Clean
google avatar

Michaela S.

Yelp
Not bad for an airport but I wouldn't go back. The service was forgetful and there was a rude host. Food was okay, but took awhile. Ambiance is as you'd expect for an open concept airport bar
google avatar

Hilliary J.

Yelp
Guy, I wanted to take the time to apologize for not only doubting you, but the quality of your food as well. As someone who has encountered your "diners drive ins and dives," show, I fell into the trap of thinking you were nothing more than a talentless mooch off of other people's work. A "personality hire" if you will. However, after trying the food here during my layover in NJ, I humbly take back my assumption. The wings were quite simply delicious and the trash can nachos the same. For anyone looking for a quick, hearty (not necessarily healthy) and yummy airport meal - look no further. This is the place. You will find Guy's beautiful mug staring deeply into your eyes as you stand in line to enter. The paper cutout version of him is quite lifelike and larger than life.

Yelp
Place sucks! Don't bother if you don't have at least 2 hours before your flight boards. Sunday afternoon, airport not really busy and restaurant has no crowd. Plenty of open tables and bar not crowded. Perhaps there was a reason for this and others knew better. We sit down order drinks (ice tea and a water) and the grilled chicken sandwich to split. 15 mins later we get the drinks....this was a sign of things to come. Finally get waitresses attention for lemon and sugar for the tea. Then 30 mins passes and no food. Flag down waitress for food update.....it is just a chicken breast on a bun....what could take so long. She goes and checks and comes back stating that it "will be out shortly". Now mind you there are only a few of us in the restaurant that ordered food. Another 15 mins passes we flag down who we think is the manager. He says he's going to check. Manager and waitress now are nowhere to be seen. Waited another 5 mins and got up and left. Went to the food court instead. Can't believe Guy Fieri would put his name on this place. Definitely time for new kitchen staff and perhaps a better manager.

Yelp
Just awful! We decided to stop here for a bite before our flight at Newark Airport. First of all service was terrible. One server for the whole place. Wasn't busy, but she seemed overwhelmed. Took awhile to take our order. We ordered a salad with grilled chicken and chicken tenders. Took over half an hour to deliver our meals. The salad didn't seem fresh , like a pre packaged salad that was a day late to use. Chicken in salad also seemed pre-made reheated. My chicken tenders were also pretty bad. Over cooked and hard. Asked for refills on water, never got it. Now it was getting close to our flight and I just couldn't find waitress to get check. Had to walk over to bar maid for help. Still took ten more minutes for check. Listen I've had better meals and service at McDonalds and at 50 bucks the food was just way overpriced. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here.
google avatar

Yelp
Breakfast at the airport has really been stepped up here. Great eggs and bacon and perfectly spiced potatoes with peppers. Will go back. Tucked away in terminal A by gate 29. I have to say, my sever Chevy made my day. Greeted with a smile, great service and never waited for anything. I will go here every time I'm in A terminal. I hope Chevy is there when I go! She is a definite asset to the restaurant!
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
This is really a 3 1/2-star review, but Yelp doesn't allow half-stars. When you eat at the airport, you need a certain level of expectations. Expect the prices to be high and the service to be meh. Guy's met that level of expectation. I had a burger and it was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Was it worth $25? Not in the real world, but at the Newark Airport, sure. My wife had chicken tenders. These were not good. Flat and dry. The only plus was the size of the portion and value, when compared to other items on the menu.
google avatar

Mehul K.

Yelp
Ordered beer using QR code at red as suggested by bar tender & got order confirmation number. Also received credit card transaction notification. Order never got into restaurant system so they called manager & instead of helping getting order processed she refused to see my order confirmation & suggested me to pay again for beer which I already paid. Now I got charge twice and need to spend hour fighting with credit card company to refund duplicate charge. Worst manager ever. She needs to get fired.
google avatar

Darren O.

Yelp
Granted- we only came because of a long layover. The servers were all great and friendly. Coffee was good. They brought enough cream too- which was appreciated. The French Toast was tasty. I know it's served as a loaf for presentation, but would have been better slices The sandwich was good too. I would prefer the egg to be over easy instead of hard. More donkey sauce too. Good place, not amazing though.
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Food was pretty good, quantity was very small for the price paid. Service was also just okay even though the establishment was pretty much fully empty and slow. Acceptable I guess.
google avatar

Nicole F.

Yelp
By far the best service I've ever received at an airport establishment. The bartenders were beyond friendly at the very early hours of the morning. Also, the best airport mimosa I've had. There's a to go counter for their food next to it or you can dine at the bar. There's plenty of bar seating and tables. It's got a new and clean casual vibe. Obviously you'll be paying airport prices. I'd dine here again.
google avatar

Beth A.

Yelp
We came for a sit down breakfast within Terminal A. They have some decor on the walls but it can be loud since it's in a sectioned off area of the Terminal without any actual walls separating the restaurant. There was more staff here and faster service compared to nearby sit down restaurants within the terminal. We were seated within a few minutes, food came out quickly. They only have 4 breakfast options in the menu before 10:30am. The food was good, potatoes especially had a lot of flavor on them - too much for my taste but my husband liked them. Breakfast dishes here are probably a little pricier than the other sit down places given that it has Guy Fieri's name, but we appreciated the fast service and solid amount of food.
google avatar

Roland S.

Yelp
Place was clean. Service was decent. Trash can nachos were excellent. Good experience for $20.
google avatar

Tommy G.

Yelp
June 9th @ 1:17PM This may be one of the worst restaurant experiences in my life and that is saying something with all of my business travels over the years. . We walked up and were sat right away. The server seemed bothered by us being there. I ordered the chicken fingers and a Sprite. The chicken fingers came out in less than 2 minutes. The Sprite came after that. To say they were dry and sitting is an understatement. Expect a lot more with Guy's name on it. The server came back when I was done and dropped the check and card machine on the table. I gave a 20% tip in spite of the terrible experience. He didn't say a single word past taking the order. Do not go here. Two stars go to the nice hostess only. Zero stars after her.
google avatar

Gaby H.

Yelp
This may be a generous review considering our experience. However food was fairly priced and decent. We boarded our flight full without paying an arm and a leg which we were thankful of. However, service definitely needs some work. I will start by saying that it was not particularly busy. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come to our table and almost another 15 just to get our beers. I ordered wings and my boyfriend ordered a burger. My wings came out about 10 minutes before his burger. Our server notified us that his order was taken to another table so they needed to make a new burger. We were one of the lucky ones to get our food and drinks before our boarding time. We saw one patron who canceled his food order after waiting quite some time and opted to go to one of the other faster service options nearby. Another patron must have waited almost 20 minutes for a server to even come by his table and ask if he's been helped and probably waited another 20 minutes for nachos and a soda. I would not recommend trying this place if you have a short layover. However, it will do if you're just looking to get a decently priced beer (considering airport prices) and maybe watch some sports.
google avatar

Richard R.

Yelp
Food was great, Ambiance is standard fare and service was exceptional. One of the best in terminal experiences I have had
google avatar

Nicholas G.

Yelp
Let me preface the review with the fact that I am probably Guy Fieri's biggest fan. Now for the restaurant, I am not sure if its because its at the airport but this place was Not good. I went with the motley crue pulled pork sandwich and it was unappetizing. The sandwich was lukewarm and some items like the fried onion straws were cold and stale. The sandwich was a mess too. However, the fries were good and I like that they had both waffle and regular ones. Would I recommend or come back? No. Guy Fieri... you are the man but gotta step up the standards at this place.

Gloribel G.

Yelp
Very expensive and the quality of food is bad. Guy Fieris only the name. I prefer any fast food before eat there again.
google avatar

Jen K.

Yelp
We were forced to sleep at the airport, and we had food vouchers, so we came here for breakfast. The poor waitress working was alone, and clearly overworked and stressed out. The food was ok. Nothing special. I'm sure we could have found better options for breakfast, but we were tired and were more interested in convenience.
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
Flavortown is a bar and grill in the Newark airport that mostly serves burgers and stuff related to that. It's actually pretty good, it falls under that niche of fanciful takes on classic food. The part that it really suffers though is its price... it doesn't help that it's an airport but it's expensive.
google avatar

Kyle H.

Yelp
Its an airport restaurant - i don't know why all these people reviewing expected 5 star dining. Yes, its expensive, its an airport. With that being said, it was not outrageous and i think the pricing was fair. All the food was good, except the french fries, those were not great at all. The service was actually excellent and our waiter was amazing. I'd totally come back here if i was sitting at the airport again

Kris K.

Yelp
I waited to be seated for 15 minutes and the place was empty. I order a beer using the QR code. The bartender poured the draft beer but it sat at the bar waiting to be picked up and served. By the time I got the beer it was warm. The staff seemed like they didn't give a crap about their customers and were a bother. The Trash Can Nachos were gross. I waited a long time for them and had to ask when they would ready. I was about to miss my flight due to the wait to be seated, the wait for my beer and the wait for my gross nachos. I will never eat at a Guy Fieri restaurant again.

Ashley L.

Yelp
Frowntown... I expected a little better good and service. 1 host, 1 bartender and 1 waitress with 5 tables and it still took over 10 minutes to ask us if we needed drinks. We gave our whole order to the waitress as we waited long enough. Food came out 30 minutes later for crappy freezer burnt chicken strips w/ soggy fries and soggy disgusting nachos. Waitstaff never came over to see how the food was as they all know it's not edible. No one asked if we wanted another drink. We had to leave and had to scan qr code to pay. $80 for appetizers nachos and chicken straps with a tap beer and a rum and coke. Horrible service and food
google avatar

Christine C.

Yelp
Food was not good. Minimal service and prices outrageous. Would not go here again. I know prices are high at airports. Nothing you can do about that but I would like good food for the exorbitant price and this was not it.
google avatar

Lina P.

Yelp
We ate here during a LONG layover in Newark. I was schooled by how good the food was. They have lots of beers on tap too. The prices are of course outrageous, but definitely better than some of the other places in this terminal, especially the portions are fairly large. You order on your phone, but you still have a server is the only thing I thought was weird. I definitely recommend the nachos!!
google avatar

Bridgette M.

Yelp
Good location, chargers and lots of room. The food was not good. Burgers and fries tasted as if it was sitting out for a long time.
google avatar

Bill A.

Yelp
I really wanted to like my meal. I tried. I ordered the mac n cheese burger because I love both. The burger itself was supposed to be medium rare, but was overcooked to a solid well done. The mac lasted one bite before it all just fell off the sandwich. It needed to be bound with something like a frico to prevent the physics of coated curled pasta from doing exactly what you would expect the physics to do. And the mixed fry basket was a great idea, but one of the three types of fries had clearly been sitting around for a while because they were ice cold, which made them mealy and unappetizing. Given the insane airport prices, you would hope for a much higher quality for a relatively simple dish.

John D.

Yelp
wow. I am a fan of Guy and all his trips - had he been my guest for my salad and chicken fingers, I doubt his level of excitement would have existed. Salad was dead!! literally no taste - they took 1 chicken finger, that was good, and sliced it into 50 see-through pieces - the service and help were remeniscent of Chappelle Show skit - look up - Slop-Copy!! its days like this I wish there was a McDonalds around!!
google avatar

Gregg K.

Yelp
Sat here for a drink before our flight. Large wine on menu was $24 got charged $32! See picture of bill. Not one vegan option besides a salad. Ridiculously high prices. C'mon man!!!
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
Why don't I read the reviews first!!! Ugh. Such a horrible meal. I don't mind paying a premium at the airport but I could have gone to Starbucks for half the price and a better meal. No kids menu so twice cooked, Old chicken tenders 14.99 . 1 cup of lettuce (salad) 14.99. They ask you if you want fries but fail to mention it's extra. Never again

Sophia M.

Yelp
The restaurant ambience is perfectly fine, a sports bar in the middle of terminal a with ample seating. If the service was good, then I would give it three stars. However, our waiter forgot about us for an hour before my mother flagged him down to tell him that we hadn't even been given drinks. Then it took another twenty or so minutes to get our food, even though people who were sat far after us had already eaten. The food itself was just okay. I had a chicken sandwich with too much ranch, and the three types of fries provided had varying degrees of seasoning, from over to under seasoned. The prices are about as high as I'd expect in an airport setting. I recommend trying some place else unless their service improves, especially if you have a tight deadline to get on a plane.
google avatar

Mark S.

Yelp
Terrible Service at EWR Terminal A. 7 bucks for CONDIMENTS. Rip off. This is the 2nd time I"ve eaten at a fieri's and surely will be the last. How do you undercook Chicken Wings? Fieri's knows. Over rated is an understatement.
google avatar

Andee G.

Yelp
Great way to start the day! Sat down for breakfast at the bar before my flight home and was gleefully greeted by Teri who was fun and full of energy. She makes a great drink and the kitchen delivered an amazing breakfast burrito. I'm not usually into potatoes but these were amazing and cooked just right. Highly recommended if you want a nice vibe before hopping on your flight.
google avatar

Cindy P.

Yelp
Disappointing... I've been to several celebrity chef airport restaurants that delivered. Ordered the pulled pork but was told no pork. Ordered a burger which was tasty. The fries were super cold and lacked salt. Not a fan of their ketchup either. Tasted watered down. And the beer selection was typical convenient store selection. No local craft selection. If I fly out of this terminal again will try a different. The music is awesome!!

Marty E.

Yelp
Service: Marginal but awful. Wait time for an airport was ridiculous. Server not happy, in fact miserable attitude. Food: Probably cooked that morning or day before. Hard chicken tenders and dried out. Wings, same, least that morning and recooked or from day before. Prices reasonable for good food. very high for terrible food. If your gonna sell your name for a chain operation you had better set some strict rules. Because the restaurant might go under but as long as it has your name in it you too will demise.

Enrique M.

Yelp
I first tried to Dine-in. Upon arriving, the waiter did not seem happy to find a seat for me nor for other customers waiting in line. I ordered the cheeseburger and waited for 30 minutes. I asked the waiter about the wait time and she said she forgot to place the order. It seemed intentional given her initial impression. Then I asked if I can take it to go since and she then told me to order through the take-out counter. Went to the take-out counter, used their self checkout without issue. However, had to wait over 30 minutes for my order. The person there had a better attitude and went to check on my order for me. However, I never saw her again and someone else eventually came out with my order. If you are short in time, I would try somewhere else. Had to eat my food cold so wasn't even worth the wait.

Laura K.

Yelp
Ordered a Caesar salad with Chicken but the chicken was freeze dried frozen fried chicken with no character or flavor. Guy should be ashamed. Also I wanted a glass of Chardonnay but they only had one kind...Franciscan; unoaked. 0 for 2. Waiter Darwin was very sweet and kind. Not his fault. He did check in on me to make sure everything was ok, but I was so annoyed about the wine and chicken, I didn't say anything. 1 for 3. They would not have been able to fix the wine situation, and I doubted they could fix the chicken situation given the poor quality of the product. Clearly low quality operation banking on Guy's name, but shamefully so. Go elsewhere for your $45 salad and glass of wine.
