The 11 Best Restaurants In Wimbledon - London - The Infatuation

"This Thai kitchen is inside a fitness club, where big glass windows separate you from amateur badminton games, and people rush through the cafe-like seating area in sweaty shorts looking for the water fountain. No, it doesn’t feel like a restaurant, but the food coming out of the kitchen—things like creamy crab curry noodles that’ll cure a sniffly nose, and a roti curry with tender beef and chunky vegetables, make up for it. Everything is made in-house, from the curry pastes to the flaky roti. Just get it to take away if you want to lose the gym cafeteria atmosphere." - rianne shlebak

Flavour Hubb - Review - Wimbledon - London - The Infatuation

"We’ve been to restaurants on boats, 24-hour spots in skyscrapers, and pizzerias inside car dealerships. But Flavour Hubb might have the most surprising setting of them all. This Thai kitchen is inside a Wimbledon fitness club, where big glass windows separate you from amateur badminton games, and people rush through the cafe-like seating area in sweaty shorts looking for the water fountain. Some of the dishes miss the mark, but things like creamy crab curry noodles that’ll cure a sniffly nose, and a roti curry with tender beef and chunky vegetables in a rich, meaty sauce, are great. Everything is made in-house, from the curry pastes to the flaky roti. If you want to lose the gym cafeteria atmosphere, just get it to go. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Rianne Shlebak

The restaurant stands out as a top spot for Southern Thai cuisine in London, impressing with vibrant curries crafted by a Thai chef passionate about authenticity. The chef makes curry pastes from scratch, a sign of genuine attention to flavour, and after trying many Thai restaurants in the city, it’s clear this one is truly special. It’s worth even a rainy journey across London. The deep-fried pomfret is recommended, especially with its curry sauce, though the fish was just slightly overdone. The massamun mutton curry is packed with taste, and the crab omelette is a must-try for fans of Thai seafood. The grilled prawns offer excellent value at £13 for eight pieces. Located inside a sports club, the atmosphere is informal, but the food and service make Flavour Hubb a clear standout for anyone seeking authentic Thai flavours in the city.

This hidden gem must be one of the most underrated places in London for Thai food, the flavours in every dish were incredible and the owner Suppano takes using good ingredients very seriously. The location may be a bit out of Wimbledon centre but you will be rewarded with delicious, reasonably priced food, in reality it is less than a 10 min walk from Wimbledon station. Can't wait to come back for more!

Probably the most authentic southern Thai cuisine you can get in London/Europe! Suparno (the owner) and his brother are extremely passionate about their craft! 10/10

Overall very worth the drive for a meal here! Ordered Had Yai fried chicken, mutton Massamum curry, crab curry noodles, fresh roti and Mango stick rice for £70.87 for two of us!

This is definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in London! It's tucked away in a hidden spot with a laid-back, relaxing atmosphere. We've been here a few times and tried a variety of dishes. The Nasi Lemak and “Had Yai” fried chicken are must-haves every time! We've also tried the prawn otak-otak, seabass in curry, roti, tiger prawns, crab fried rice, and crab omelette… not joking—we loved every single dish! And of course, we always order Thai milk tea and lemon tea to go with the meal.

🌟 Chef Pun is fantastic! A hidden gem in Wimbledon, serving truly authentic Southern Thai cuisine — full of rich flavour and cooked to perfection. I was very impressed with his skills. Although born in the UK, his Thai roots shine through in every dish. It’s rare to find such genuine Thai food abroad. Highly recommended! 🌟

I really enjoyed the prawn and fish soufflé as it was full of flavour. The Thai milk was also nice and not overbearingly sweet. I would definitely come back to try more of their dishes!

Incredible food. What a local hidden gem. Absolutely ignore the setting (inside the cafe of the local racquet club) and ignore the chips and sandwiches, pasta and salad regular menu and only order the authentic Thai dishes from the handwritten blackboard. You will not be disappointed. Truly delicious and so well spiced. True Southern Thai cooking by a very talented Thai gentleman. The loos are in the very rundown changing rooms, your only view is of the actual racquet court and it's at the end of a cul de sac next to a royal mail depot but who cares when the food is this good? Another highlight is the iced teas. I'll be raving about this place for a very long time. Meal for 2 with a shared starter, two mains, a shared dessert and two drinks came in at just over £50. Will be back very soon.
