The 11 Best Restaurants In Wimbledon - London - The Infatuation

"This Thai kitchen is inside a fitness club, where big glass windows separate you from amateur badminton games, and people rush through the cafe-like seating area in sweaty shorts looking for the water fountain. No, it doesn’t feel like a restaurant, but the food coming out of the kitchen—things like creamy crab curry noodles that’ll cure a sniffly nose, and a roti curry with tender beef and chunky vegetables, make up for it. Everything is made in-house, from the curry pastes to the flaky roti. Just get it to take away if you want to lose the gym cafeteria atmosphere." - rianne shlebak

Flavour Hubb Review - Wimbledon - London - The Infatuation

"We’ve been to restaurants on boats, 24-hour spots in skyscrapers, and pizzerias inside car dealerships. But Flavour Hubb might have the most surprising setting of them all. This Thai kitchen is inside a Wimbledon fitness club, where big glass windows separate you from amateur badminton games, and people rush through the cafe-like seating area in sweaty shorts looking for the water fountain. Some of the dishes miss the mark, but things like creamy crab curry noodles that’ll cure a sniffly nose, and a roti curry with tender beef and chunky vegetables in a rich, meaty sauce, are great. Everything is made in-house, from the curry pastes to the flaky roti. If you want to lose the gym cafeteria atmosphere, just get it to go. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Rianne Shlebak

🌟 Chef Pun is fantastic! A hidden gem in Wimbledon, serving truly authentic Southern Thai cuisine — full of rich flavour and cooked to perfection. I was very impressed with his skills. Although born in the UK, his Thai roots shine through in every dish. It’s rare to find such genuine Thai food abroad. Highly recommended! 🌟

Can’t believe I only discovered this restaurant yesterday. Tucked away inside the Wimbledon badminton club, it’s so simple but the food is AMAZING. Probably one of the best Thai/ Malay meals I’ve had in London. The fried chicken was especially delicious!! There’s no signage outside so just go to the Club’s reception and ask about the Flavour Hubb. We’ll definitely be coming back.

This is definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in London! It's tucked away in a hidden spot with a laid-back, relaxing atmosphere. We've been here a few times and tried a variety of dishes. The Nasi Lemak and “Had Yai” fried chicken are must-haves every time! We've also tried the prawn otak-otak, seabass in curry, roti, tiger prawns, crab fried rice, and crab omelette… not joking—we loved every single dish! And of course, we always order Thai milk tea and lemon tea to go with the meal.

Outstanding food from the South of Thailand/ Malay border. Fresh roti, Hai Yat fried chicken, prawns with nahm jim, crab fried rice and bitter gourd and chicken curry on this occasion and all were outstanding. Suppano and his colleagues are kind and warm hosts. One of my favourite restaurants in London.

Incredible Thai and Malaysian food - definitely the most authentic I've had in London. Super friendly and personable service. The fried chicken is absolutely nuts. We tried most of the menu and everything was amazing. The definition of a hidden gem!

This was the best Thai/Malay food I’ve had outside of Thailand and Malaysia! Such delicious food, a great unique menu and tastes very home cooked and fresh. The chef was super friendly, and the staff were also lovely. It’s a real hidden gem and one to definitely visit!

The most authentic and delicious homemade Thai food outside of Thailand. Just look at this mango sticky rice. It was perfection. Portions are a little on the small side and location wise, it’s a little unexpected being inside a racquets club. Regardless, if Jay Rayner were ever to visit I’m certain these guys would be given a 5* review.

Such an unexpected little nook! Truly enjoyed my crab meat fried rice and crab meat omelette. Crab meat alone is such a novelty here in London and I was given in abundance with these dishes! 🤤 Portion was very generous. I packed my remaining half and got to enjoy it for the second time at dinner. The owner was really friendly, sincere, clearly puts in a lot of effort and knew all his returning customers. It felt like I went to a friend’s house for a superb meal. Thank you, I’ll definitely be back!
