Barcelona’s Best Traditional Catalan Baked Treats and Where to Find Them | Eater

"A dependable place for ensaïmada, the spiral-shaped Mallorcan pastry adopted in Barcelona; available both unstuffed and filled (typically cabell d’àngel or thick pastry cream) and traditionally made with pork lard for the characteristic texture and flavor." - Chris Ciolli

bought a mini baguette (.75 ) and 2 croissants (e 2.20) thought they were very good an price is reasonable. Was there at close to 7:00 am and service was fine.

Very, very good bread in many kinds and shapes. They also sell their own cakes and pastry, excellent as well. Only problem (very minor) is check out time: they tend to be a little slow

I live nearby my little morning ritual is to brew my own coffee and go downstairs to grab 2 croissants and sometimes some other pastries from Fleca.. best croissants in town hands down!! and shopkeepers very friendly, especially the young girl <3

Google
Most expensive bakery in Barcelona, paid 11 Euros for a small empanada and a piece of pizza bred with some vegetables on it. Either their prices are really that high or the lady thought of us as an easy scam. Didn't taste well neither and went straight to the bin.

Yum! All of it. Completely justifies it's long queues on Sundays

Yelp
Preparing for a trip to Barcelona, I looked for a neighborhood bakery, because, you know. Found this place. Don't have enough great things to say about it! Have gone every morning. The pa Catalana is wonderful! Thin crispy crust and tender crumb. Could eat a whole baguette on the one block walk back to the airBnB. The croissants are delicious, flaky, and buttery. The bunyols are little bites of perfection! The cookies are amazing! It's easy to get great baked goods in Europe. But this place is a step above! If you are in the neighborhood, o yourself a favor and go!
