Fleeting is one of my favorite restaurants in Savannah. The dishes are full of depth and unique flavors, making them incredibly delicious and memorable. The restaurant is located inside a hotel, offering a comfortable atmosphere. Every dish is fantastic, and the desserts are also delicious. I absolutely love it!

Google
Everything was FANTASTIC! The fresh caught roasted whole fish was delicious. We also got the roasted carrots and fingerling potatoes on the side and they were both delicious as well.

We stayed at the hotel and weren't planning to dine here. But, at 2 different bars, they recommended this place, so we went. Let me tell you why they recommended! The food! Every dish, I can taste the chef's passion and creativities. Even simple as salad was packed with delicate flavors. I was blown away! And the dessert, we had apple tart. It was perfect size and super delicious that made me feel I want to come back again. Well done Fleeting! Thank you for creating and preparing dishes with love and care..

We chose this restaurant for a late Valentine's date with my husband, and it was a great choice! The atmosphere is cozy and has an intimate vibe, making it perfect for a date night. While the menu isn't extensive, everything sounded delicious! For our appetizer, we ordered beef tartare and grassroots pork lumpia, which were fantastic and set a wonderful tone for dinner. For our entrees, I had the grilled local catch, which was redfish, and my husband enjoyed the duck breast. We also ordered a side of fingerling potatoes. The first bites of both dishes were impressive, giving us a definite “wow” factor. The fish was very fresh and light, while the duck was perfectly cooked, definitely not as chewy or rubbery as we had feared. As for desserts, we found them to be just okay. We tried the sweet potato flan and the apple tart. They lacked a bit of flavor but were still nice. I appreciate the smaller portions of both desserts, especially since we didn’t have much room left but still wanted to enjoy something sweet. Overall, the portions were decent, and everything was well prepared, fresh, and visually appealing. The pace of the meal was relaxing. We never felt rushed, allowing us to truly enjoy the experience. Great cocktails and wines as well! A special shoutout to Aaliyah for her impeccable service! She was sweet, welcoming, and composed, ensuring that we had a wonderful night. If you’re in Savannah, make sure to check out this place!! 10 out of 10! Going to bring some friends next time!

We had the Crybaby menu by Chef Chino, and it was absolutely amazing! We tried almost everything on the menu, and it was all so delicious. The flavors were so unique and exciting, and everything was so fresh. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend you try Chef Chino’s Crybaby menu. Thanks a bunch!

Google
This is the best kept secret of Savannah. The food was fresh and delicious. You can tell it’s made with care. It’s definitely farm to table. The wine and drinks were good and the value for your money is great. Can’t recommend enough. Wish it was easier to get to but like it was in a quieter area.

Google
Delicious food and wine! The music was a perfect background setting and the interior decoration set a beautiful ambiance. Aaliyah our server was incredible! Give this girl a raise! Alliyah was friendly, had incredible passion for her recommendations which we thoroughly enjoyed. Well worth the money spent! It was a brilliant experience and definitely a recommendation we'll make to friends and family. The hostess at the front on the other hand was very lackluckster.

Everything was absolute divine! I couldn’t focus for listening to my boyfriend say “mmmm…” with every bite of steak he took. Additionally, my espresso martini was beyond perfect! I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant and hope to dine here again one day!

Yelp
Breakfast review. We were seated quickly for bunch on New Year's Day. I ordered the vanilla cinnamon latte and it was so delicious. We ordered the shrimp and grits as well as the croissant breakfast sandwich. Shrimp and grits was some of the best shrimp and grits I've ever had . I have no idea how they got the grits to be that creamy! Do not miss this dish! My husband ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich with whipped feta and eggs ! This was so good. The croissant was from the bakery next-door and was so fresh and delicious. The whipped feta was absolutely delicious on it. Our only critique was that our server did not ask my husband if he wanted to add bacon or sausage to his croissant. Overall, the service was just a little bit slow, but the food was amazing .

Yelp
My wife and I had a rather disappointing dining experience. Salads: We both ordered salads with lemon vinaigrette, which was so tart it made our cheeks pucker. After a long wait, a manager informed us there was no other dressing available, so we sent the salads back. They were removed from our check. Duck Breast: The duck breast was cooked perfectly but had zero flavor. We ate the two slices of breast, but it was tasteless. Service: The service was incredibly slow. From start to finish, it took almost three hours for two salads, one entrée, one wine, and one cocktail. We visit town often, but this restaurant won't be on our return list. At this price point, we expected much better. If you're staying at this hotel, I recommend dining elsewhere.

Yelp
If you are mentally good with $75-$100 per adult... You should check this restaurant out. The bar that supports the restaurant is very good, the appetizers (we did beef tartare, and an elevated shrimp salad with fish roe), were both wonderful... But frankly, the grilled sourdough Ryebread that was paired with the appetizers, and which is produced on property, was easily as exciting to me as the other appetizers. Crusty, sour, earthy... Everything good bread should be. Our family wandered over the menu for dinner, ordering both fish, entrées, a bacon and tomato salad, which I'll get to in a little bit more detail, a lamb shoulder, and a well executed hamburger for our eight-year-old. Of the dishes, I personally tried, I think the red snapper was the best executed, though a touch, salty, My bacon and tomato salad was nice, but they used large cuts of bacon (I grant it looked pretty) and tiny grape tomatoes... So it was impossible to get multiple flavors on one fork unless you put a lot of knife time into your salad... For the restaurant: I would suggest beefier, diced heirloom tomatoes instead of cherry tomatoes, fork-size bacon and lettuce, and one or two larger pieces of bacon for the top... actually no, honestly... If it were me, I would have more of that crusty rye/sourdough bread you have on top... maybe rubbed with some garlic, the slightest touch of olive oil and some Basil (also the salad). It's a lower price point, would add visual interest, and the bread is just darn good. back to diners : I strongly recommend the stone fruit salad, which the staff kindly comped for us. The peaches were lovely, and the dressing was really well executed...yum While I note that some other people have complained about the service, in my personal opinion, it was just fine. I would both go back and be served by the same person again cheerfully. While not in downtown, it's extremely convenient to Savannah ... So you're looking for a nice night out that's not jammed with tourists, this is a good choice

Yelp
We had a party six so everyone tried different meals. The two men had the steak which was served on top of mashed potatoes, although not very many mashed potatoes for a $40 + it was a tasty steak The women all choose less expensive meals and all seem to enjoy their meals. The service was good no complaints and our weight staff was very friendly being in a new restaurant. It had a nice ambience for people who enjoy sitting at the table and being able to watch what's going on in the kitchen that seems to be the big thing nowadays to me. It doesn't matter as long as the food is good hotel was nice which the restaurant is in and it's kind of a smaller cozy set up. two of us had dessert but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was, but I do remember thinking I should've ordered what the other person did. As for the main question would I eat here again? The answer is yes I will admit we stayed at the Hyatt and this restaurant is much better than the so-called restaurant in the Hyatt. Sorry didn't take any pictures.

Yelp
Have never stayed at a Thompson that did not have a great restaurant, and Fleeting was no exception to that trend. Dined there throughout our stay in Savannah, from breakfast to dinner. Favorite dish was this beautifully prepared Grilled Local Catch Fish.

Yelp
Stayed at the Thompson for the weekend and decided to try out Fleeting for dinner on evening. The restaurant itself is so beautifully done and any and all staff we encountered were very hospitable. We ordered the tomato and melon with whipped goat cheese (I wanted to lick the plate), burrata with pears, and for my entree I got the roasted chicken which was literally perfect. Tender, juicy, flavorful, and a very large portion. We were stuffed but the waiter tempted us with dessert so we ended up getting the baklava sundae which was a 10/10. Adding Fleeting to my fave spots in SAV.

Yelp
Another amazing meal at Fleeting! We went for date night earlier this week and we're blown away by the food we ordered! Highly recommend the striploin and chicken breast

Yelp
Located in the Kemoton Hotel. As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with perfection. The decor is stunning and inviting. As for the food it was just ok. The oysters were not so food and the shrimp were bland but very crispy. They needed some seasoning. However my husband ordered the fried fish and it was delicious. This spot gets a 5star for ambience and service but 2 for food taste.
google avatar

Yelp
A really unexpected pleasure. This restaurant combined great service from Maria with a surprising and creative kitchen. Steak tartare was amazing, the Philippine spring rolls were delicious, and the burrata was only eclipsed by the amazing sourdough bread. For the mains, Pressed lamb was a treat. And the blueberry cobbler for dessert was a perfect way to end the meal. I don't understand all the lukewarm reviews for such a great team.

Yelp
Visited Fleeting when in town to visit my sister with some friends. We arrived early and went to the rooftop lounge before and it was beautiful with a great view. The food was excellent, however not really any vegetarian options. If you have a vegetarian in the group, the carrots and potatoes would be good options. My sister and I had the red fish and the pork cheek ravioli. They were both great. Our friends had the steak and potatoes, and that was the real star of the show. Also had a couple of mixed drinks and they were delicious as well

Yelp
This restaurant is located inside the Thompson Hotel Savannah. It's been opened for two years. We stayed at the hotel for one night and ate dinner and breakfast here. I'll start with dinner. The restaurant is an open concept so you can see the chefs as they create your dishes. We were able to get seated right away and the hostess was very helpful. We ordered the roasted east coast oysters as a starter. For the mains, we ordered the wood grilled whole fish, bootleg farm roasted chicken and the wood grilled strip steak. The food was good but nothing extraordinary for the price. I asked to substitute the kilt collards for asparagus and was told they make no substitution, so I asked to not add them to my plate. Towards the end of our meal, and I would say we were the last ones eating, the servers started to turn tables around us, which was fine, but we could feel our waitress attitude starting to change and not for the best. We asked to see a dessert menu and opted for the ice cream, which was the easiest thing to get, so we could finish and go. The waitress said they didn't have ice cream. I found it odd, but it was the way she said it that made me feel like she was ready for us to leave. Needless to say, we paid the check and left. I will make a note here to add that the night restaurant manager was very nice when he approached our table prior to getting our main meal and spoke to us about the restaurant. I only wished we would have been able to speak to him towards the end of our meal. Breakfast was a smoother experience. Our waiter was very hospitable and even made some suggestions including their home made biscuits that are definitely worth trying. I opted for a latte. They had a signature latte but apparently they did not have the ingredients to make it, so I just had a regular one, my preference anyway. Also, a regular black coffee. We tried the french toast brûlée, the classic breakfast and the grapefruit & berries. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was a good breakfast. The best thing were the homemade biscuits. One thing that caught me by surprise was that I ordered a plain black coffee to go at the end of our breakfast and was charged for it. It is the first time ever that I've been charged for coffee to go. This was our second cup of coffee . All and all, it was an okay restaurant. Nothing really stood out enough to return here again. I wish I would have taken more photos of our dinner but I was so tired from the drive when I arrived that I just wanted to eat and go to sleep. In the morning, we rushed to get ourselves back on the road.

Yelp
We made a reservation weeks in advance and then when we checked in for our table with the host we were told we would have to wait 20minutes for the table. We were then sitting around in the lobby/bar area waiting 20 min for the table. And the servers did not seem like they had enough staff to cover the tables. The food was good, the plating was done nicely, and I enjoyed seeing the chefs prepare the food with an open concept.

Yelp
Fleeting was wonderful. The food was delicious - recommend the crab cake!! Our server, Maria, made sure we had a wonderful dinner and was so kind and attentive. Would absolutely go again!

Yelp
We've eaten at Fleeting for breakfast and dinner - both of which are great! The striploin we had at dinner was incredible - flavored to perfection! I also recommend the French toast brûlée for breakfast. Their staff is both helpful and informative about the menu as well.

Yelp
Went for our anniversary dinner. Beautiful place in a newer neighborhood. We ordered the sourdough goat cheese appetizer, cucumber salad, beets and lamb shoulder. The appetizers were good but nothing special. The lamb shoulder however was amazing! Super tender and lots of flavor. Staff was great.

Yelp
The missus and I decided to celebrate our 1st anniversary at this charming restaurant that can be found inside the new Thompson hotel. It is a nice addition to the culinary scene in Savannah. The look and design of the restaurant has that new mid century modern feel that a lot of the new hotel restaurants have. The kitchen is open and the centerpiece of the restaurant. It's always cool and entertaining to see the chef and staff prepare the meals. They use a grill to cook a few of their menu items and it doesn't fill the restaurant w/ smoky fumes. The menu has some interesting selections like the smoky dates and country captain spring rolls for appetizers. The spaghetti was similar to a cacio e pepe and it was creamy and delicious. The collards and little gem salad seems like their version of a caesar. The fish option that evening was a stripped bass. It was paired w/ lentils and some veggies. The skin could have been a bit more crispy, but it was still very tasty. Market price for the fish was tad high. They also treated us to a complimentary off menu mousse dessert which was greatly appreciated. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but being a newly open restaurant there were a few wrinkles that they need to iron out. Overall a great dining experience at beautiful restaurant off the beaten path.

Yelp
I first became aware of a new restaurant being open a few months ago, when I saw the elegant logo of the new 'Fleeting' dining spot. At the time, I poked around the website and since it really hadn't gone into full production they were only offering a limited menu and had limited days and times of operation. But...I'd seen enough of what they were up to, to encourage us to be patient and await the cocoon's opening and the thing of beauty to take to flight. As a cornerstone anniversary approached I rechecked and Fleeting had landed! Yelp reviews all echoed what I'd suspected and longed for. This past weekend we made reservations and checked into the Thompson Hotel, which houses 'Fleeting' and never looked back. As we assumed our table, we were impressed by the large, open kitchen and well coordinated orchestration of the chefs. One larger man was watching over the plating and putting orders out, but instead of a white coat his chef's coat was 'business-like' black. He turned out to be the highly esteemed head chef and cookbook author, Robert Newton. Our server was very punctual and personable. He kept his eye on us and provided as much or as little attention as we encouraged. Glasses promptly filled with water and very knowledgeable in his recommendations and advice. The menu isn't huge, but these days increasingly, fine restaurants tend to pare back offerings to those featuring only the freshest products, and those plates that past diners have raved about. There is one seasonal veggie or potato dish and one fresh caught fish dish each night to assure variety. So the menu itself isn't extravagantly broad but believe me, you'll find plenty offered to intrigue your mind and delight your palate. Four sections to the menu: Share (apps), Vegetables and Grains (with some real delights here!), Meat and Fish, and Sweets. We began our tour with the wood fire grilled Oysters which we'd never had anything like before. (Usually we eat ours raw.) But, when these arrived, they were big hot and a treat to the eyes, so we dug in. The manager stopped and asked about our experience to this point. She introduced herself as Brittany Hahn, the General Manager. These were local oysters as that is a great certificate of freshness right there! The plump bivalves were topped with a cap of diced country ham pieces, and breadcrumbs napped with a heavenly Chartreuse-Lemongrass butter. One of a kind taste combinations! Next we moved on the the Shrimp Toast app. Forget any association with what you'd encounter in an Asian cuisine spot, these are totally 'owned' by Fleeting and in a class by themselves! Patties of blended shrimp spread on thin wafers of bread and sauteed. Flavors really take a new dimension with the diced country ham pieces, pea tendrils, benne seeds and sprinkled with a never-before encountered red-eye chili oil. I wanted to order more but there were main dishes still to meet! The vertical roots lettuces are big enough to split and are a pleasant stopping point on your way to the mains. Lettuces, goat cheese nuggets, turnips thin sliced topped with a light dressing and sprinkled seeds. Palate cleansed, our features arrived: the 14 oz NY Strip sitting in a teasing pool of house made Chimichurri sauce and large delicious onion rings. The steak is kitchen sliced diagonally for ease of access to manage your bites. The steak was of high quality and was absolutely steak house quality. My wife ordered the fresh fish of the day which was ocean fresh caught Striped Bass, and healthy boneless 7-oz portion served skin side crisp, on top of a fantastic mix of tender legumes. We ended the adventure by succumbing to the allure of house made desserts under the innovation of their own pastry chef. Our choice was a whimsical Orange Creamsicle Mousse, with almond-shortbread crumble basil seeds and toasted meringure 'kisses' that you'll wish you had more of!! In the picture of it below, you'll notice a spoon in the top right. That's because as soon as it arrived we literally couldn't keep our spoons away! Craft cocktails of course, a very thoughtful wine list with professional service and smooth service added up to a remarkable evening dining memory for us. One we are anxious to repeat! This quiet area of Savannah's busy historic area is a real gem and 'Fleeting' is the primary precious stone. I forecast that it's building reputation, and emerging place in the city's culinary scene is anything but fleeting!

Yelp
This gem is inside the swanky Thompson Hotel. They just started having Jazz Brunch on Sundays and the brunch menu is as every bit as good, as their dinner. It's a lovely place to join your classy friends, your love one, or to impress a date. It's not the spot for loud, mimosa overload conversations. My favorite? The Chai Spiced Pancakes!!! There's nothing like them any where on this planet! After a plate of those, ya just might wanna get a room...if you know what I mean.

Laura F.

Yelp
We were excited to try this restaurant during restaurant week but left quite disappointed. We were a party of 12 and all ordered the restaurant week specials. While the appetizers were good, the main entrees were not. Food was bland and boring. The crab/noodle dishes were cold and had to be reheated. Some desserts were frozen. I top of all that, the added gratuity for large parties was a whopping 22%! Even the bottles of wine had a gratuity charge of 22%! (Which by the way, the same wine is $16 at Kroger)! Save your money and don't bother with Fleeting! It's not worth a fleeting moment of time.
google avatar

Dennis P.

Yelp
Inside the Thompson Savannah, and just as ornate. We've only eaten breakfast here, so I cannot comment on dinner. I ordered the oatmeal. Seemed to be the healthy and light meal for the day ahead. I asked server to omit the walnuts. I'm not allergic, I just don't think they add anything to the oatmeal. First attempt had walnuts, along with the berries and puffed rice. I reminder her of the no walnut request. Second attempt had no puffed rice, but still had walnuts. Third attempt had no walnuts, no puffed rice, but was room temperature. I decided to eat and move on. Staff seemed friendly, and the restaurant is clean. Oddly, I'd probably try it for dinner.

Yelp
My fiancé and I were recently visiting Savannah and stayed at the Thompson, which is a newer hotel in the area. The aesthetic of the entire building is so pleasing, and this includes Fleeting which is housed in the Thompson! It is beyond beautiful. We randomly met a nice woman in the elevator that mentioned she ran the restaurant downstairs so I had to try it; it was so delicious! The sweet potatoes in the veggie spring bowl were *chef's kiss*. The wait wasn't long and they had a steady crowd. I definitely plan to visit again. 10/10 would recommend.
google avatar

Anastasia W.

Yelp
This place was absolutely amazing!!! Everything to the location, the atmosphere, the staff and even better the food!!! I came here on a date and the wait staff was so nice! I would finish my water and they would be right there filling it up again. I will say this is more on the pricy side but totally worth it! I ended up having the grilled oysters and the warm smoky dates to start off with. Then for my "main" course I had the salt and pepper shrimp. Since I was on a date I didn't get to see the total but I have a feeling it was a pretty penny. But I'm glad I was able to experience this place. I would highly recommend coming here.

Yelp
Perfect for date night or breakfast with a friend! Upscale and modern, the restaurant is located inside the lobby of the Thompson Hotel in the new development along the river walk beyond the Marriott. It was my first time there and I loved the sleek, wood and chrome decor that reminded me of a luxury ship interior from the 1920s. We had a reservation and arrived a bit early and they seated us quickly and gave us a quiet table. The (square) stevedore biscuits and gravy were delicious, although the scrambled eggs could have used another minute on the griddle. My cortado was lovely and my friend claimed that the gluten-free pancakes were light as air and "heavenly." All in all a wonderful dining experience and I am now looking forward to trying their dinner menu and taking a look at the wine list. Can't wait to take my better half out for date night and after, having a relaxing stroll along the beautiful waterfront.

Yelp
Restaurant within the Thompson. Limited menu selection. Nice wine list. Restaurant was somewhat noisy with all the hard surfaces. Excellent and attentive service.

Yelp
Slightly overpriced for what you get. But a nice ambiance and awesome staff. Food was very good but drinks were not strong at all.

Yelp
Fleeting is a beautiful new restaurant on the Eastern Wharf just south of the Savannah River. Words don't adequately describe this place. It's at once old Savannah and brand new big city. I love having the amenities of both worlds. The food: very good. All the entrees are well paired with sides that complement them. In fact, at Fleeting you can ask for a side to be removed from an order, but not substituted for something else. Since they only prepare and serve dishes that are in season, they consider their food 'fleeting' (and thus the name.) I honestly don't normally care for veggies, other than the occasional salad, but at Fleeting, I found myself eating vegetables like asparagus, tubers, and mushrooms quite happily! All the food was absolutely perfect. The waiter was very attentive and the only complaint is that Mr.O's cold glass of milk took a long time to come. It finally arrived just before we finished dessert. I would have given this amazing restaurant five stars but, although we had made reservations well in advance, there seemed to be much discussion when we arrived about where they would seat us. Everyone was nice; they just acted like we were not expected and they didn't know where they would seat us. I highly recommend Fleeting. It was a great experience. After dinner we went up to the roof to The Julian Bar and enjoyed the sunset. Amazing experience!

Dominic S.

Yelp
Hands-down on of the best restaurants I've been to. We ordered a couple salad dishes, their oyster small plate, and a trout dish for a main. Everything was cooked so wonderfully with great, unique flavors and plated beautifully. The oyster dish was AMAZING! The oysters were baked in a tomato sauce with the most delightful crispy capers. The trout was cooked to perfection (yummy crispy skin) and served with seasonal vegetables. Their menu clearly rotates with seasonal produce, which is a huge win in my book. Our waitress was wonderful. They had a very interesting wine list and our server recommended a wine that pair perfectly with our food. Highly recommend. The restaurant is right on the Savannah River path and you can take a nice stroll post-dinner.

Yelp
We were there for Easter breakfast (no brunch) and very very happy with all the dishes that our group of 6 ordered. Here is what we got to try: Steak and eggs: did a great job with the steak, ordered medium rare and it's not your rib eye but nicely done and tasty French toast brûlée: very good, not too sweet but would be nice to add maybe some additional color on the plate Classic breakfast: typical breakfast, 2 eggs, bacon, toast Gluten free pancakes: very good and fluffy, not too sweet. But maybe could add a little color to the presentation Sweet potato 'something': mix of cooked sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, regular potatoes - great option for a vegetarian eater. Was delicious. Overall we were very happy with our breakfast and would Recommend the Fleeting. Will try to come back to try their dinner menu.

Yelp
Fleeting is the restaurant inside the Thompson Hotel down by the river in Savannah. It's an open concept kitchen with the food being prepared right in front of the diners. Our experience was with breakfast as we stayed at the Thompson for the evening. The space felt like every other restaurant in a Thompson hotel that we've stayed at, which is to say it's elegant and upscale. The menu is ever changing, probably based on seasons. However, it still had the traditional breakfast items. The coffee was strong. The orange juice tasted fresh squeezed. We ordered both the steak and eggs and the classic breakfast. The steak was cooked well and had decent flavor. The eggs were supposed to be over easy, but came scrambled instead. The classic breakfast had scramble eggs, skillet potatoes and sausage. The sausage was a little salty. The scramble eggs was a tad overcooked by the time it got to the table, but not inedible and the potatoes was just okay. I guess my expectations were higher with the ambiance and decor that the restaurant portrays. However, the service was friendly albeit we'll give her a pass for mixing up eggs over easy with scramble eggs. I guess the really comes down to would I come here again if I wasn't staying at the hotel? Probably not, but for the time being and until the surrounding developments get built out, this is pretty much the only option unless you want to make 10-15 minute walk up the hill into the historical district.

Yelp
6/17/22 Located inside Thompson Savannah Hotel. Nice chic restaurant, had their breakfast two days in a row. Food is excellent, service is lacking. Constantly asking for your server and getting the wrong items is a no- no

We had a party of 12 for Restaurant Week and dined at Fleeting restaurant. The atmosphere was very nice as we were sat in a semi private area. At first, the service was good as the server took our drink orders. Because of the size of the group, and it being restaurant week, we were provided a pre-fixed meal for $60 per guest. We ordered cocktails or wine. The "Amuse" and "First" courses were small, but good. The main course selection consisted of either a crab rigatoni or house made sausage and polenta. All 6 couples ordered one of each. When we received the meals, the pasta servings were small and cold and had very little flavor. The sausage was bland at best. We asked to return the pasta and the server informed us that it was cold because cold crab was on top. However, the pasta itself was cold. A number of our party returned the pasta for heating. Once we received the plates back from the kitchen, the pasta was slightly warmed but had been placed under a heat lamp which dried it out. We finished the mains, and were served our desert. This was still frozen. At this stage we finished our evening. Several in our party left their meals unfinished. Because this was a large party, the restaurant added 22% gratuity to the group including the bottles of wine. The customary charge is 18% and 10% for wine. Restaurant week in Savannah is an opportunity to try new establishments. Its an opportunity for the restaurant to show off their best. Fleeting missed it with 6 local couples. We will not go back and cannot recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Visited savannah for the weekend and decided to make a reservation at Fleeting after reading about it in an article. It did live up to the expectations. Minimal and classy decor with fine dining vibe. Our server Alex was friendly and took good care of us. We ordered two appetizers and both were excellent. Our entree was a bit disappointing in terms of the size of the fish. Been to fine dining before so wasn't expecting such a small piece of fish. Other than that, we were satisfied with food and service.

Yelp
Highly recommend their breakfast summer vegetable bowl! I also loved their home made hot sauce. Cool atmosphere. We did an early breakfast and it was very empty and quiet.

Yelp
Went to Fleeting as I've seen them on IG and Thompson hotels IG account. They have looked great and wanted to give it a try. Got a reservation and had great table by the window and was able to see the activity within the kitchen which is always a fun aspect as you watch the chefs preparing the food. I wanted to give 4.5 ranking as I couldn't give a full 5. That downgrade in all honesty was the fault of the hostess stand and lack of attentiveness to those waiting to be seated. The table service and the food on the other hand is the true saving grace. Their food is delicious and has great creativity from the chefs. The grilled oyster app is flavorful and worth every penny. The wood grilled fish dish is one they need to keep on their menu. The chefs have that one down pat. The shaved collard salad though I must say was the best. Their anchovy dressing was one of the most flavorful I've had in a long time and I'd eat that salad as my main course the next time as it was that good. If you can go eat here, you need to make the time. It was a great meal and I enjoyed going and I'll go back again to try some more of their kitchen staff's creations.

Yelp
Fantastic Breakfast! Simple and perfect. Latte was excellent. Biscuits and Gravy - thinner Biscuits with the absolute amount of everything! The chairs and atmosphere are 1920s class. Loved it, will be back!

Yelp
Nice Food presentation and the steak is well prepared and taste good. I would say I have a great experience for the hotel and restaurant.

Yelp
The food was excellent. Though an item limited menu, the offerings were well prepared, very tasty, and though a bit costly, honest portions. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it is very loud. The restaurant sits off the main entrance and bar for the hotel and there was a very loud event complete with DJ in the entrance. Our party was seated at the far end of the dining area, away from the entrance, but it was still very hard to hear one another against the background cacophony. However, the food and service was good enough to warrant a future visit.

Yelp
Solid 3. All was good but not overwhelming as we expected for the price and freshness. Two couples. Drinks, apps, entrees and dessert. Had duck, chicken, pork plates. Had spring rolls. Only standout was the salad with apple slices and bacon.

Yelp
I'm not one to write a bad review. But the service was awful last night (24 FEB) . Went last night with a buddy after a long day at work. We both wanted steak and some good cocktail. Never had an issue before with fleeting. Last night walked at 800 pm . Got seated right away. Ordered two old fashions and the $95 steak. Drinks were great no issues . After 45 min sitting there the waitress comes by says our food will be out shortly . Steaks finally arrive at 915. No big issue we didn't have anything planned . The steaks come out like warm and was just okay. Not it's normal level of perfection .Okay no big deal. Then the waitress brings out the salad . Oh forgot your salad that comes with your steak . Our cocktails were empty for over . No refills on water . The restaurant was half empty and only one large table. I'm a fan of the hotel, the restaurant, and bar Julian . Last night was definitely an off night for them. I hope some one reads this and takes time to recalibrate the staff and process. For an upscale restaurant in Savannah really disappointed.

Yelp
Absolutely impeccable. First time here and won't be the last. Our server Justin was great, very attentive and knowledgeable. and that's just the beginning. Our meal was absolutely delicious. I got the aged steak and my partner got the pork chop special with grilled peaches. Was probably one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. We will definitely be back. thank you for a lovely dining experience:)

Yelp
Excellent spot to eat breakfast but get their early and bring a bottle of champagne to drink in the lobby while your waiting for your table The traditional breakfast and biscuits and gravy were killer and our server was very nice Highly recommended

Yelp
Food was very good. Thoughtful well considered southern food using farm to table ingredients. Only issue was that the food coming out was a little slow but service was excellent and compd a dessert gratis. Very much recommend if elevated southern food is your thing.

Yelp
This is a the hotel restaurant . Food is very good, service is what you would expect. Menu seems somewhat limited with only a few specials. Pricing is in line with a higher end dining experience. Overall good not great, but I would certainly come back

Yelp
Beautiful hotel and beautiful restaurant. The restaurant is unfortunately situated where the view is not so great. Breakfast is pricey, especially since they had no grits and their only bread option was white bread - not even biscuits. Hopefully they will improve the experience as the hotel matures.

Yelp
The food, service, and ambiance is amazing! From the beginning to the end the food is simply delicious. If you love great farm to table food with an amazing pairing of entree and vegetables coupled with excellent service. This is the place! This is our second visit and we have not been disappointed either time. Thank you to the hostess, Sydney, Sydney, Steve, Chef and sous chef!

Yelp
I learned about this place the day we visited by reading reviews online and based on what I read, was surprised to find it fairly empty inside with hostess, doorman, and managers very friendly and eager for our patronage. I can see why. Beautiful food presentation but taste misses the mark for the high price point. Three of us paid over $200 (pretip) for 2 mains - duck and steak- and 4 sides - spring rolls, roasted carrots, veg fricassee, dates. 1 beer and 1 small glass of wine. I ordered 3 veggie sides for my meal and am not a huge eater but left hungry. Daughter ordered the steak- market price was $74. Sticker shock for sure. Server was not super attentive, seemed unenthusiastic about food/drink menu and disinterested. To her credit however, she did inform us all the apps and veggie sides were small and not sharing size. Great wood smoke flavor in a couple of the menu items (little gem salad with the duck) and a beautiful dining room. No toilet paper in any of the bathroom stalls either. Glitz and glam fell short of the mark. Glad I tried a new place but will not return.

Yelp
The atmosphere was nice, pretty casual. If you go there with a large party all members need to be present before being seated, but our reservation was still held for us. For appetizers our group had; georgia pork & cheese plate (this was a group favorite); country captain chicken spring rolls (it was ok, wouldn't order again. Then again I'm Asian I know my spring rolls); and roasted east coast oysters (also a group favorite) For my entree I had the koji aged spiced duck breast; muscadines, celery root, green tomato, sourdough brioche crouton. The portions are small, I don't eat much and was able to eat the whole thing. I think this dish would be a snack for a grown man. There was about a spoonful of what seemed to be a potato purée. I really wish more of that was added. For dessert I had poached plum brûlée; grilled plum mousse, thai basil, sweet biscuit crumble, caramel. It was a good combination of sweet and tart. The tart was a surprise. The service was excellent! We were there for 4 hours, not once did we feel rushed to get out. In fact we had to ask for the bill when she came to our table at the end. Over all great experience, good atmosphere, food portions are small.
