Fleetwood Farm Winery wine was amazing , live music was great, and the customer service was awesome! The day we went they had the back tasting room open which at first was a little Complicated to find because the signage directed us towards a different location but no biggie. The strawberry sangria was one of my favs. I must say the tasting prices were a bit more expensive than we typically pay but it was worth it. We enjoyed every one. Loved the fire place, Couches, and table seating areas they all create a very cozy feel in the tasting room. We also enjoyed taking pictures with all the holiday decor! I want to add they do offer food that looked and smelled amazing. We did not eat this time. Definitely add this winery to one of your wine stops in your travels.

Google
Lovely variety of reds and whites, delicious flatbread, and a gorgeous setting that is a quick Uber or Lyft from Ashburn metro. Every wine was balanced. We would love if they made a Viognier that was more floral on the nose, but it delivered on the palate.

The staffing is excellent at this place and the food was very good. My fiancee enjoyed their wine and I appreciated the NA option. The location is also very convenient and while the school in the background is new, the landscaping is truly beautiful and does a remarkable job of masking it's presence. We essentially dropped in unannounced to see their spaces for a private event and the staff was super accommodating and attentive. I truly do not understand the negative reviews from individuals who apparently lack the ability to read rules and understand that this is a private business on private property that is bound by VA and US laws. I personally enjoyed the lack of screaming children, drunk and stumbling fools, and our dog is enjoying his nap at home. Thank you for hosting us, we look forward to returning!

Google
A very nice first visit. My wife and I are on a quest to visit every winery within an hour's drive from our home. This stop was a pleasant one as we very much prefer repurposed buildings with some history (e.g. LaGrange and Vint Hill). Alex was serving the wines and was both professional and knowledgeable. We started with a white and a red wine flight. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of the wines (they use 3 area wine makers, all whose work we are acquainted with) but each wine had their own unique qualities. We both particularly enjoyed 3 of each of our flight's wine and bought a bottle each. The biggest disappointment (thus the 4-star review) is that the flights are served in plastic cups which undoubtedly diminishes the tasting experience compared to glass. Printed tasting notes were sufficient and helpful. Bottled wine price was in the usual range. I thought the by-glass and cheese and charcuterie board pricing a little steep. The board was attractive, and cheese and bread portions were generous. We would have appreciated a board "map" describing each of the items. The setting is near idyllic, looking out at the lawn and 3(?) acres of vines. Unfortunate the development across the parking lot the other side of the building is happening. Still, because it is the other side from the tasting room, there is no distraction. Wine club is average in its benefits and may be worth looking at. We will certainly return for another relaxing afternoon glass of wine.

Google
Our company hosted our annual Christmas Party at Fleetwood Farm Winery this past month and had a BLAST! The setup, the ambiance, and the overall space was perfect for what we wanted. Working with Jennifer on the lead up to the event was flawless and working with both her and Andrew the evening of the event could not have gone better! We will definitely attempt to host our event here next year and would recommend this space to anybody who asks!

Google
Meh. It's ok, but for the price there are better wineries in the area. I appreciated the service and food was good, but wines were unremarkable for the price. Good to go for once if you are trying to visit all the wineries in the area, but not worth going out of your way for.

Google
I recently had the pleasure of hosting a corporate event at Fleetwood Farm Winery, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, the service was impeccable, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Whether for a conference, meeting, or networking event, this venue has everything you need for success. The level of service and attention to detail was truly exceptional, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Google
I applaud the winery for having a tasting flight that was dedicated solely to white wines that was reasonably priced at $22. My fav sip was the Clara C Brut Prosecco. Beyond the amazing offerings, the property is steeped in American history. Formerly a plantation, the house located on the grounds, dates back to 1775 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. As more research is done at the winery, I look forward to seeing how the enslaved African Americans are incorporated into the narrative of this property.

Yelp
Pretty nice afternoon spent there. Cheese and charcuterie board. Flight of stuff snd s glass of red as a secret Hopper Nice place

Yelp
This little winery is absolutely gorgeous! Very historic feel to it almost like Old Town Alexandria. The staff was kind and the indoor section was beautiful. They have a parking lot in front of the tasting room and a beautiful view of their vineyard. We went this last Saturday and they had someone singing live which was awesome. We would definitely come back here hopefully on a day it hasn't rained so we can sit outside! :-)

Yelp
We LOVE this place so much! We live in Great Falls and it's 35 min door to door. We're wine clubs members and we get two free glasses of wine each time we come! They have quarterly wine club events where you can bring others to enjoy free food and tastings of the new releases. We love that there's no kids or dogs here, so you are actually able to relax here. I've hosted a birthday party here, as you can you can get there at 12 when it opens and get your choice of spots. When the day is beautiful, there's a ton of picnic tables and Adirondack chairs to sit in. If it's cold or raining, you can sit in the main tasting room but it can get a bit crowded and noisy. Service (5/5): Managers Sue, Jeff and Alex are the best! They are almost always at the property and are kind and friendly. Food (4/5): They lose a star cause of the cost of food and drinks but that's also loudon county. The con is that you can't bring your own food here (other than cupcakes for a birthday) but they do have full menu of snacks and food. The mushroom flatbread pizza is my favorite! Ambiance (5/5): just a beautiful place. If you haven't had the opportunity to visit, what are you waiting for?

Alexa P.

Yelp
I love fleetwood because it's affordable and they sometimes offer teacher discounts. I was a huge fan of the hummus they have but felt the flatbreads were over priced for the size. The people there are friendly and helpful when it comes to picking a wine. I love the fact there is lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

Nat M.

Yelp
This is a lovely winery with a lot of outdoor space. It has a vibrant garden area and a forest along one border. We had a sample of wines, the sausage & wild mushroom flatbread, and the chocolate lava cake - all yummy. They also provide games and cards for patrons to use while visiting. It has a large indoor space for those who want to avoid mosquitoes. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Christine B.

Yelp
I went here on a Friday evening after work and it was lovely! I have Guide to Imbibe so I was able to cash in on a free glass of wine but decided to do a wine flight first of their red wines to decide which one I wanted a full glass of. I also ordered one of their flatbread pizzas and it was delicious and gluten free which I would've never guessed! The service was quick, you order at the counter and they give you your drinks right away and then you get a buzzer for your food. I sat outside and was lucky enough to see a bride and groom getting their photos taken as I ate and enjoyed the views. Would highly recommend going here!

Yelp
Beautiful farmhouse and a self-guided tasting. Staff were really nice and beautiful views of the property from the porch.

Wingyan L.

Yelp
When we arrived at Fleetwood Farm Winery, we followed the signs to the Tasting Room. We walked inside, and it was pitch dark. We were afraid we drove 37 miles for nothing. We were about to leave. Luckily, we bumped into staff, and they communicated that the Grand Terrace was open. Lindsay and Sue were helpful in explaining that the wine menu was listed from dry to sweet, and they offer self-guided flights, not guided tastings. They have a large indoor sitting area with live music and an outdoor patio overlooking the grapevines. They serve flatbreads, small plates, shareable boards, and wraps. We shared a Pesto Chicken Flatbread and enjoyed a glass of Vidal Blanc and a glass of Tempete Blanche with our meal. Before heading out, we purchased a bottle of Vidal Blanc!

Jessica D.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite wineries in the area. It's always nice when the wine is actually GOOD and this isn't just another place to hang out with friends on the weekend. I've found a lot of wineries have become just that and I never find myself loving the wine itself. The reds never disappoint (my favorites are petit Verdot and cab franc) and there are plenty of spots to sit back and relax. Great views and staff is friendly. Everything is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected I suppose. I've purchased their bottles to go as well.

Tolulope R.

Yelp
We came here a few weeks ago and each had wine flights and an order of pizza. It was surprisingly busy for a Friday afternoon but the weather was nice for late November so it made sense. The service was good and the pizza was yummy but the size was smaller than we expected. Although it was warm it was a bit windy so we were able to sit outside. The space indoor had plenty of windows so we still enjoyed the scenic views.

Melody Y.

Yelp
This winery has a later opening time than others I've been to. It has a more relaxing vibe and has a covered patio/deck area if you want to stay out of the sun. The spring house red was the best out of the red wines I've tried. It was easy to drink, sweet, but not overly sweet. It was refreshing and as it's served chilled. The prices for a bottle of wine are pretty decent. The prices for food are high. Smaller portion size than expected for the flat breads. Despite the high prices for the food I give 4 stars because of the great service I had.

Yelp
Honestly, I can't hate on this place! I really enjoyed my first visit here. Super close located right next to brambelton. It's very close to the Brambelton golf course. We didn't have a reservation prior to arriving on a Saturday at 1pm. It's a very spacious place! They had one part of the venue with a wedding going on and two areas for tasting. The service was alright. They were laid back and flexible and allowed us to just move tables around so we could accommodate for our group. The view on the patio was really nice and chill. The person assisting us with selecting wine seemed a bit stiff and not super friendly but she got the job done lol. The wine was actually really good!!! They had a variety of sweeter and dryer wines. We ordered one red (the Cab) and one white wine (the loft). I loved both options!! Food- we got a couple of flatbreads. One Buffalo Chicken, a Pepperoni, and a margarita pizza. The flatbreads were wayyyyy smaller than expected for the price so I was very disappointed about that. You would have to order quite a bit for larger groups. We got the crab dip as well which was also very small portions and they were skimp on the bread. Most places will give you a full baguette or plenty of pieces of the bread. Overall although the food tasted good it doesn't feel like it's with it for the portion. Overall, I did like the winery. It's a nice close location and seems good for a date night. However, I wouldn't say it's my favorite winery. Only due to There's other locations with much better views, food options and portions, and staff. Also, the tasting was VERY SMALL portions for the price. In tiny little plastic cups. Maybe it's price cuts not sure.... But they need to be better about expensive prices and cheating out their customers

Yelp
Fleetwood is by far one of my favorite wineries in Northern VA and not just because it's close to home. I've been a long time customer since they opened because the wine is great and the staff are not only knowledgeable but super kind! Whenever I get a glass, my glass is a hefty pour which is nice for the price per glass. I love that you can keep a tab opened and close out once you're done. They do a teacher discount night which I love as a former FCPS teacher that also has a husband who is still currently teaching for LCPS. It makes for the perfect happy hour after a long day of work. My favorite wine is the Viognier because it's on the sweeter side with notes of peach, tangerine and honeysuckle. When it's the Summer I love getting their sangria and during the Fall I get their mulled wine. They also do flights, including a sangria flight called the "Garden Party". They often have live music. I was recently there when they had a pianist playing outside on the lawn. I was impressed with how well he was playing in the heat. He was great and it made our time there relaxing! They've broadened their food menu by adding a lot more dips and cheeses. I love that they have more than just charcuterie. My favorite food to order is the warm camembert with pepper jelly. It's absolutely amazing as it's baked in a warm flaky pastry and then topped with a sweet and spicy jelly. My husband loves their flatbreads - they have 8 different kinds and are all gluten free. Landscaping is beautiful. They have several event spaces including their stunning garden, the grand terrace, the loft which is often used for private events, and the carriage house which is actually their original building. The carriage house will always hold a special place in my heart as it's where my parents first met my now husband and where his parents first met me, AND where both our parents met each other prior to our engagement! Looking back, maybe we should've gotten married here! Note: It's adult only, no pets or kids.

Yelp
Went for an afternoon get together. Wine was good, food was great, service was excellent. The place is gorgeous, great inside and out! Definitely recommend. Prices are a bit on the high end but I say that I think so because I'm not from the DC metropolitan area. Probably normal for here.

Yelp
This is a really cute winery near my house that I visit every few weeks - especially when the weather is nice. I've done a few tastings and I think they're have some of the best wines in the area! I'm a big fan of their Rosé, but they have a nice range of whites and reds. It's one of the adults-only wineries around the area, which I appreciate since this is where I go to relax or finish up some work for the weekend (free WiFi - yayyy). The property is well-maintained and very pretty. It may not have the impressive hillside views that you might see at other wineries in Loudoun, but it's relaxing and I appreciate the convenience of where it's located. It's also nice that they have a kitchen and you can order food here (which is very necessary if you're going to camp out here for a few hours). I've tried a small plate and also one of their flatbreads and both were great! The staff have always been really friendly and accommodating! Seriously, everyone is lovely and super helpful if you ever need anything. You should definitely check this place out! :) *~*~*~ Also, I noticed a negative review from another recent winery guest who was upset that her international ID card wasn't accepted at the winery to purchase alcohol. That sounds like a frustrating predicament, and I'm sorry that was your experience! However, I want to point out that this isn't a rule that the winery set. It's a Virginia State Law that specifies which forms of identification are accepted for the purchase of alcohol, and which ones are not. These rules about acceptable ID forms apply to everyone, domestic or international, and the winery staff are required to abide by this. You can see what IDs are accepted on the Virginia ABC site: https://www.abc.virginia.gov/licenses/retail-resources/preventing-underage-sales/detecting-fake-ids.

Yelp
A true disappointment. First, and foremost, the wines were truly mediocre at best and the food was subpar as well. The only thing first class was the pricing at $134 for two red wine flights, a very small flat bread, and an order of Costco quality nachos. Save your palette and wallet and go elsewhere. There are much better choices in the area.

Emma W.

Yelp
A great selection of wine, seasonal drinks and food! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! Friendly staff and perfect for those who love an adult only winery (21 years and up) The property is also pet free I highly recommend going!

Tiffani N.

Yelp
Another beautiful winery in Leesburg. I'm continuously pleasantly surprised when I find this type of gem tucked away from the suburbs. We arrived on a lovely afternoon to sit and sip on wine while enjoying the view. The service was very attentive but not overbearing. And I felt the pricing was fair which isn't always true because some of the wineries are a little overpriced for what you get. It got a little hot on the patio so we moved inside to the AC and a nicely-appointed seating area. They also have many lawn chairs scattered to sit outside on the grass. The wine is very good. I only tasted the whites, which I prefer in summer. My daughter enjoyed both the red & white. My favorite was the Petit Manseng and I normally don't like the sweeter wines but it was amazing with the right amount of fruit and crispiness. I will be back!

Jimmy M.

Yelp
How I've never heard of this place is beyond me! It's a nice getaway drive from the DC area and for that you earn beautiful scenery tucked into the fall colors that you just can't get in the city. At the beginning of our tour our host asked if anybody is looking for wedding venues, meanwhile I didn't realize that was an option. However, after getting the in-depth look and also watching my wife's eyes light up, who knows what will happen lol this must be one of the most beautiful and space-accommodating venues we have ever seen. As for the wine, we split a Fleetwood Flight for just over $20. Whenever an establishment puts their name on something I am automatically drawn to see what they are hanging their hat on and all I have to say is their wine matches their venue. it was a split of delicious dry reds contrasted by the whites which fortunately were also mainly dry. The apple sangria was also perfect couples with the best beer cheese I've ever had! I also really enjoyed the sweet and salty fall harvest style pizza/flatbread with the hot honey balancing the cheese and bringing out that touch of purple onion all supporting the main wow factor of roasted squash. I'm only disappointed I left my cinnamon in the car, but I can imagine what glory my taste buds would experience. By the way, live music on the weekends 1-4pm. Does it get any better?

Kim J.

Yelp
Very good wines, fun events like trivia, beautiful grounds. Bring back the baked brie and I will forgive the kitchen for slowness in getting food out ;)

Bob M.

Yelp
It's hard to find bad reviews on wineries and breweries but let's be honest you can have an incredible facility but have major construction next door to ruin the vibe. But it all comes down to the wine. First almost all the wine is not theirs. The vines are young so the wine is weak. Now I know wine. I'll pass here... and esp 25 tastings in plastic too. But good food and a nice place

Judy P.

Yelp
Everything was excellent. It's a relief to arrive at an adults-only winery. No screaming children or dogs to navigate. Wonderful acoustic guitar and singer playing, very helpful staff (Sue), delicious wine (we had the mixed flight) and great ambiance. We didn't want to leave. Highly recommended!

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Jeff & Emily are courteous shining stars here amongst other staff! Enjoy Washington's history while sipping in a rustic modern setting. Their selection of food is broad for a winery.

Isabella G.

Yelp
The place looked really beautiful but we unfortunately couldn't eat and were sent back die to a rule that was nowhere to be found. This past Saturday I wanted to take my family to the winery, i called ahead of time to see if they had any rules but no-one answered, I checked the website multiple times and it only said 21+ and no dogs. We got to the winery which is about 50 mins from my house and I knew they were going to ask me for my ID. I had my dominican ID with me that clearly states I am 22 years old and also had my liscense, they wouldnt take neither and said I had to have my passport so they sent us back. Why would anyone carry their passport around? If my ID clearly states that I am over 21 why would you not trust it? And lastly why would you not let us stay I even said I wasnt gonna drink but she refused and we had to go 50 mins back to my house. To me this a stupid rule, iI mean do you guus thing that the DR is not a legotimate place and everything that comes from the DR is fake? Or whats the deal? I was extremely disappointed and will NEVER be going back. IF YOU REQUIRE INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS TO BRING THEIR PASSPORTS YOU HAVE TO STATE THAT IN YOUR WEBSITE, OTHERWISE WHO IS GOING TO CARRY A PASSPORT WITH THEM ANYWHERE THEY GO.

Kat N.

Yelp
The winery is very pretty, lots of trees around so you can barely see the street. The Camembert cheese with pepper jelly was the star of the show for me, the cheese was warm and melted with a nice sweet heat from the pepper jelly. The wine was good but nothing special for me. I do wish the winery would wash the chairs more often because there was a lot of bird poop on them.

John D.

Yelp
Never had a bad experience at Fleetwood. Staff is always excellent and have always enjoyed the wine. Grounds are well kept and they offer live music. If your looking for a more intimate winery where there won't be huge crowds Fleetwood is the perfect destination. For those that complain that children are not allowed well deal with it, their audience is adults only as it should be at a nicer niche winery. Would absolutely come back.

Dakota B.

Yelp
Fleetwood Farm was the first venue we toured, and after seeing it, every other venue we saw just paled in comparison. We knew we wanted a venue with natural beauty for a romantic garden-like feel both inside and outside and Fleetwood did not disappoint. Between the beautiful secret garden for the ceremony, the cocktail hour with an inside/outside option, and the beautiful wooden accents throughout the reception space - it created an atmosphere that exceeded our expectations. The property has many beautiful spots for photos, is conveniently located to both Ashburn and Leesburg (meaning a shorter commute for your guests) and has a great flow from space to space. Jennifer, our venue coordinator, was responsive, organized, and was always on hand to give us a bit of direction or answer our questions, making the planning process easier and stress-free for us. Thank you, Fleetwood, for an amazing backdrop to our day! Read less

Pat C.

Yelp
Beautiful grounds, friendly staff and good food. The wines are nice, but especially the rose.

Jacques I.

Yelp
Out of all the wineries we went to around Virginia, Fleetwood Farm Winery was my favorite. With its bold reds, beautiful grounds and laidback staff, I can see why my parents are wine members here. We visited Fleetwood Farm Winery on a Saturday night and the place was busy! There were many patrons here, but because of how spacious the grounds are, everyone was able to safely social-distance. The main building where you go for wine tasting has a large indoor area, that reminds you of a spacious living room with a huge fireplace in the center of the room. There were tables and chairs spread throughout, including on the outdoor deck. What I really liked about Fleetwood compared to other wineries was how accommodating the staff were here. I was surprised when the staff offered us to try the different wines before we got a glass, which has not been the case at every other winery we visited. This was appreciated, as you don't want to end up getting a glass or bottle of something you don't like! I was able to try the different reds they had, which some of them were bordeaux-style blends, my favorite. In addition to the main tasting room, there were different buildings on the grounds, as you can tell many private events occur at Fleetwood, including weddings. They also had a food truck the night we visited, which rotates out. This was a great winery where we ended up staying until closing, like the many other patrons here.

Jeffrey S.

Yelp
We accidentally found this winery. Thank god we did. It was a cool winery. When you arrive it is a bit confusing because you think the one building is the winery but it's an event center. We were routed to the winery and it was amazing inside and outside. We were able to enjoy some wine on the outside deck. Instead of wine tasting, we just selected something to drink. I had the Cabernet Sauv and Harvest Moon which were both good. I wish we had more time to enjoy this winery, such a cool setup. How about when we were leaving they have a sign that says Virginia is for Wine Lovers and had to get a selfie of this.

victoria w.

Yelp
Snooty place, huge space with hardly anyone there. They don't allow anyone under 21 even if there with family to enjoy a pretty day. I would t recommend for a family friendly place.

Keisha L.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful!!!! Fleetwood is a gorgeous winery nestled in LoCo and worth every moment you are there! MaryBeth was a doll!!! She did our tasting and was a total delight. Full disclosure we arrived at 7pm fully aware they close at 8 and we literally only wanted a tasting. I did ask upfront if it was too close to close and she immediately said not at all, come on in and let's do this! She showed us he tasting options so we could decide and since it was the last day of the Rosè tasting, it seemed only right. They have standard tasting of three whites and three reds along with a seasonal one they rotate, with the new one being a candy pairing. All of the Rosè's were delicious, not one bad pour in the bunch! If I had to chose a fav it would be the 2018 Garden Rosè not too dry, not too sweet, a nice mix of Cab Sav and Can Franc with a peppery finish. The grounds here are lovely!!! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They do tastings in the Grand Pavilion as well so you are not constrained to the main tasting room. Who cares that it's getting chilly out when they have fire pits on the grounds as well so you can grab a bottle, bring your fav blanket and wine down right here! Leave the outside food, kiddos and your pups at home as they are not permitted on here grounds. They do offer light bites for you to nibble on. Lastly, everyone must be 21+ too!!

Ron C.

Yelp
I came here last week with a friend of mine and really enjoyed it. It was a hot day out so most people sat inside. There was plenty of space and the Rose here is dry and tasty. I highly recommend.

Holly B.

Yelp
I love Fleetwood Farm Winery! It's nestled halfway between me and one of my best friends so it's a perfect meet up spot. I've been twice and both times, the staff have been friendly and attentive. My first visit was in 2019 - we did a tasting at the bar before deciding on a bottle of wine. There is plenty of space to spread out and take in the amazing views of the farm. They offer several on-site food options including delicious flatbreads! We got the veggie flatbread and it was so good we had to order a second. We visited a second time earlier this year and they were taking precautions for COVID, including tastings at your seat and covered food. I will definitely be back!

Andrew P.

Yelp
So close to the "city" but you feel like you're in. Irvin's country. Great place to come during the Fay to hang out on their multiple outdoor shaded decks and enjoy some wine, cheese, and flatbreads. Very relaxing environment.

Marie B.

Yelp
Beautiful inside and out - beautiful gardens and tons of seating inside and out. Music was very loud and hard to talk. We had the garden tasting, which I think could have been great, but they were very watered down, likely due to the ice. We would go back, very friendly staff.

Cassy W.

Yelp
Such a beautiful winery, even on a snowy day. The service is impeccable and we were offered the option to taste a few off the menu wines, including their ports which are only sold by the bottle. The interiors of the buildings are so wonderfully decorated, I imagine this would be a great place for an event like a wedding/bridal shower/etc. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed.

Annie A.

Yelp
Great space to host big groups. Wine is nice and the staff is very quick and me accommodating.

Catherine M.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place (or rather, drove by this place by mistake) the other day and decided to stop in a day later. The beautiful house in the front is the first thing you see, with corn fields lining the parking lot. This winery is fairly quiet for now, probably cause we were here on a Sunday but also because its only 21+ and no pets. I don't mind these two things a all as it made the vibe way more relaxing. Two places to do tastings- one is inside the building behind the main house and is all air conditioned. The other is in the pavilion looking barn which is enclosed but outdoors. We opted for the air conditioning and got a nice tasting of 6 wines for $14. I would say the first white on the list was the best, along with the cab sav. I didn't care for their Rose because it was too sweet for my personal taste. Afterwords we each ordered a glass of what we liked and a cheese/meat plate. For now, their food selection is just that- meat and cheeses. They are talking about adding more options soon which is quite necessary because they don't allow you to bring in your own food. On Fridays and Saturday they have live music (Friday) and food trucks as well. I recommend come after eating a little something or else you have to gamble on the food trucks or get full of cheese! The ambiance here is quaint and adult yet it has such a good vibe I can't wait to come back here with a group. They recommend that you make a reservation for a group over 7 which is really cool they even have that option. I can't wait til this place starts growing their own wine and to see this place and their food menu expand!

Piper P.

Yelp
Such a great winery! Excellent wine options and good food. Loved the live music. Service was outstanding, parking easy, and lots of space to spread out and enjoy being with friends. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Neal E.

Yelp
We recently visited Fleetwood Farm Winery - a fairly new addition to the ever growing Virginia wine industry. The inside of the wine tasting room is modern, well appointed, and gorgeous! Lots of seating and very comfortable! There is also a ton of seating outside. We tasted the entire menu of wines, which include some California wines. The wines from the winery - we were told - are being made by someone in the Pearmund Cellars business. The vines/grapes being grown on-site are to immature yet to use for wine making. The folks pouring the wines were friendly and welcoming. I'd say my absolute favorite of all the wines we tasted was their take on a Virginia Petit Verdot. I look forward to coming here again in the future as their operation evolves and matures. #FleetwoodFarmWinery

Yelp
Yes! A winery close enough to DC for a nice afternoon. I spent my birthday celebration here and they treated us like royalty. We had a reserved spot inside their adorable tasting room, but seriously, you can't go wrong anywhere you enjoy wine on this property. The views from the grassy area, deck, tasting room....all amazing! The wine was fine. They have lots to choose from so you'll find something. My favorite was their sparkling rose, which actually isn't produced onsite. My friends enjoyed the sangria which they make daily. Give it a shot!

Yelp
Fleetwood is a brand new winery/tasting room in the Leesburg area. Before you roll your eyes and think "Gee, ANOTHER winery?" this one is quite unique. The building is a colonial-style farm home which was converted into a tasting room. The owners have a landscaping business and it shows; the building is a nice combination of Colonial Williamsburg and modernistic. Literally everything on the inside is nicely appointed and the outside is well manicured. While they advertise themselves as a winery, the vibe felt very much like an upscale wine tasting bar. The lawn has a view of the 4 acre vineyard (all Norton right now), and there's an outside building for events. When I asked about their business model, their manager told me her intent is to put a lot of emphasis on wine education - although I also see this place being a big wedding destination. They even had several somoliers on staff, which is unusual for a winery. The wines are (for now) made at Pearmund Cellars, although they also pair them with wines from elsewhere (France, California, whatever). Think of a tasting flight as "Virginia and Other". I liked the Virginia Petit Verdot, although the favorite of my lineup was the California Cabernet Sauvignion. I visited during their soft opening, but everything seemed to be running smoothly.

Yelp
Better customer service and exceedingly well groomed grounds- best for social distancing!

Yelp
Wine is fair, food typical, gardens are very nice, but on a hot day like today when it's too hot to sit outside, if you're expecting a nice relaxing environment, go elsewhere. They have an extremely loud band playing inside. No one can hear anyone else, to include the staff. It's exactly like a bar, not like I think most people would expect at a winery.

Yelp
This winery is okay, not my favorite. The "flatbread" was truly disappointing, more like a cracker than a flatbread. Wine was decent Pretty views but when I was there we were in a different building due to a wedding going on, not sure what the main building is like. Lots of road traffic and airplanes taking off, not a huge deal but I wouldn't want this for a wedding. No pets allowed! Have to deduct a star for that....

Yelp
A must stop if you want to get away from the city vibes. No reservation needed. Be mindful though they have a lot of weddings. The day we went they had a wedding in the main house so some of the pretty spots we didn't get to see. The wine flights are massive yall. I posted pics. And the cheese and bread plate was warm from the oven. Also that plate is pretty small so def order the larger option. You can't bring your own food bcuz theyre a working kitchen.

Yelp
Any day is lovely with this beautiful lady! The new winery In Loudoun County didn't disappoint! The Pinot Noir was very good and the cheese board was perfect! The landscaping is immaculate and it was a joy to be outside! The service was quick and plenty of seats with relaxing views. Bonus: it's only 5 minutes from Ashburn!

Yelp
We visited Fleetwood Farm Winery recently on a Saturday afternoon. It's a new winery in the Aldie area. It's built around a restored home and it's beautiful. They have an event space in a separate part of the property, a tasting room, and seating both indoor and outdoor. We decided on a tasting so we could try all their wines. They weren't super busy so they allowed us to do our tasting in a different section instead of the bar. I appreciated the flexibility. The wine tasting included 6 wines: 3 white and 3 red. They currently do not grow their own grapes and use grapes from wineries in the area as well as Oregon and California. My favorite wine was the Carriage House Red, which was a red blend. It was a good mix of dry and sweet, full bodied wine. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The environment was relaxed, not super crowded, a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. They also serve some food- we didn't order any during this visit but it looked good.
