Fletcher's Ice Cream & Cafe

Have loved their ice cream since they first opened over on Marshall but took the plunge on a holiday themed ice cream cake. Got the Disaronno Cherry Cordial cake and wow! It's incredible. And easy on the eyes too. 100/10.

They have a vegan display case of ice cream and banana bread. It is about $6.75/scoop but you can get a split scoop and it is made fresh. We tried 2 flavors, Orange Sherbet and Cookie. Creamsicle is what the Orange Sherbet tastes like- like the orange push pops you had growing up. Cookie is creamy with a coffee cake crumble cookie added to it. You know the crumb coating for coffee cake? The cookie pieces are like that, more sugary than typical and the ice cream is creamy and dreamy. Overall: it’s expensive, but it is pretty delicious ice cream and I like that they have an entire vegan display case of ice creams.

Fun place! It was packed at 8pm on a Sunday, but the line went quickly. The prices are quite steep, but the ice cream was really good so I get it. They also have a full espresso drink menu, waffles, and baked goods. Special shout out to the great selection of vegan ice cream flavors. Yum!

Service was quick and fast, plenty of open seating for me to sit down, eat, and complete some work. I ordered the pesto artichoke panini and an iced pumpkin spice latte. Simply delicious. Next time, I'll have to try their ice cream. Spent about $20 total on this.

This was a fun find!! The root beer ice cream tasted like the best part of a root beer float, sooo good! But the Banana Latte was the real star. Iced, not overwhelmingly banana but creamy and yummy! The place is darling with choices of ice cream treats, delicious looking pastries, coffee and a few other things and the staff was super friendly and quick, I’ll be back.

We visited Fletchers on a Sunday afternoon and it was busy, however they were quick to deal with the requests and the queue moved fast. We had our ice cream cones in our hands in about 8-10 minutes. We tried the orange cream and the wild white chocolate , both were superb, a little heavy on the pocket for single scoop, I can visit this place once in a while to try their seasonal options. For my regular cravings, I will stick my regulars 😝. They have free WiFi for any one who wants sit and get some work done while enjoying a good ice cream or a lovely cup of coffee or waffles. I did not try their coffee but they use Up coffee which is one of my favorites in MN, so would recommend trying out. Street parking is available, can get little tricky to get a close by parking if you are not lucky. Overall, lovely interior, great desserts and coffee, so do drop by if that’s what you are craving for.

Fantastic food, vibes, and service. I got an affogato with sweet cream, a caprese, and a plum hand pie. Every single item was delicious, I dined in and it was such a nice atmosphere to just eat lunch at. Will most certainly be returning in the future!

I would recommend Fletcher's if you're looking for a good place to plop down with friends for an hour to chat and have a treat or a coffee. I wouldn't categorize this as a "must try" in the ice cream category, but everything about this place was solid. There were some fun flavors, prices were reasonable, vibes were strong, and they have several different menu options for you to enjoy. It's located right on Hennepin in Northeast near a million other shops and restaurants, which means you can make an afternoon out of your trip to this area.

No brainer ! Best ice cream in the twin cities! Hands down! I don't know if I love the location and the vibes or the owner and how he can tell you every single ingredient and how they make it. I love the passion and the overall message this ice cream/ coffee shop offers. They are for the community and for everybody who walks in. Please stop in for coffee. Grab an amazing latte with chamomile. That's absolutely delicious! Stop and get a Belgian waffle or even better ice cream!!!

We stopped at Fletcher's and it was really nice. It was also really crowded. But that was OK. Staff was friendly and patient. I enjoyed the unique flavors and was lured in by the lemon poppyseed. What a unique flavor. I enjoyed it but I wanted it to be more lemony and less sweet. They have the standard coolers with prepacked pints and then scoops on demand at the counter. All the typical ice cream shop extras are available. Shop was bright and clean. I absolutely would stop again.

This is such a cute place with great flavor options that it is hard to pick! We came here after getting dinner at Punch. I love that they have more than just ice cream options available but we did just get ice cream this time. The cookies however looked very good so I will be giving that a go. My friend got the cookie dough ice cream, delicious, and I got the cotton candy, also great. They have rotating flavors which is fun!

Went here because I was with a friend who is vegan, and came up as having vegan options which they indeed did. The idea cream was good. There were a few good spot for seating inside. Parking was a challenge due to construction but that's not their fault. The three stars is for the price. Got a kids scoop which was tiny which was what I was looking for but it rang up to over $6... yikes.

Great flavors and nice staff. Almost got guava pandan but went mint chip pandan and I'm not looking back ever!

Fletches has some of the best ice cream around. The flavors are innovative and delicious and I have not been disappointed. I have stopped here for dessert on a few occasions and every time I go, I just want to go back. The servers are patient and friendly and helpful in deciding what to get. It's a cute spot in Northeast that would be appealing to bring anyone to.

Good food and good vibes! I love this place. I think they've become quite well known for the quality of their house-made ice cream. This summer I've seen steady lines at their ice cream counter, and some local businesses are starting to advertise that they sell Fletcher's Ice Cream. The most recent flavors I've tried and loved were Lemon Poppyseed and Wild White Chocolate, but everything has been great. There appear to be a good number of vegan-friendly ice-cream offerings. This is more than an ice cream parlor, though; it is also a totally solid cafe with legit entrees in the form of paninis and savory Belgian waffles. They also have dessert waffle creations, of course, but I did just get a Ham & Swiss waffle for dinner and it was very good. My favorite are the Cuban paninis, though. The ambiance is very welcoming and the staff has always been friendly and fun. You should hang out here.

Very good cookie dough. Local made. Just enough cookie dough pieces in it. Cream tastes just right - not too rich or bland.

As far as matcha lattes go, I would say this one is a pretty standard 'good' one. Meaning...not clumpy, nice level of matcha:milk ratio, and bonus points for having an unsweetened powder! What makes Fletcher's worth the visit is the vibes. Pastries, ice cream, comfy seating, free wifi, outdoor seating options, and games (reunited with mancala after YEARS), I could spend a solid chunk of time in here. Making it a requirement to try the ice cream next time

Been a few times and easily one of my favorite spots with a good variety of rotating ice cream flavors. I've tried Pandan, Cherry Nut and banana and all are so good! I want to try the Ube but it's always been rotated out or sold out by the time I go (hoping for better luck next time). It's a small shop and there's typically a small line in the evenings. Personally, always end up with a kids scoop because the one scoop has too much ice cream for me. There's indoor and outdoor seating available and it's pretty cute. Be aware that they are closed on Monday! Paid parking available (it's downtown)

A great shop in a great location! Theres a lack of good local ice cream shops and Fletchers is the best in northeast. It's a big space with a couple tables and couches inside and a few tables on the sidewalk outside. There are quite a few ice cream options-- we got the Black Forest which had real cherries in it. The nana nilla was our favorite because it was light and refreshing on a hot day. There was a long line during a weekday evening and took ~15 minutes to get through. They have homemade waffle cones that were amazing and definitely worth the upcharge! Their menu had paninis, coffee, and Belgian waffles that all looked great too. There's only paid street parking that we could find but there's usually open spots.

Amazing flavor, great location and good atmosphere for enjoying ice cream. We ordered several kids sized ice cream bites with fruity flavors. Usually it's hard to get the fruity tart and creaminess in ice cream unless you order sorbet but they mastered the formula to cake creamy fruity ice cream (lemon poppyseed, mixed berries, black currants are the 3 flavors we bought) Line is long but moves pretty fast.

This is such a cute place!! Since it's cold out I sat inside to eat my ice cream, and I really liked the seating and music they were playing. Gave me cafe vibes, and I'd be interested in going back to try their savory foods and coffee. I got the 1800 (butterfinger flavor) with a waffle cone. They didn't skimp with the cone; I only ordered a single scoop but the ice cream went down to the bottom of the cone! Definitely recommend.

Fletcher's is a pretty nice cafe where they serve tons of baked treats, drinks, and ice cream! I had a Mango Green Tea here and bought a chocolate chip cookie and it was delicious It's a pretty nice place to be able to get work done and highly recommend!

Fletcher's Ice Cream is very conveniently located in NE Mpls with ample street parking surrounding the location. The flavors are unique and some really stretch the boundaries of ice cream. I have not been disappointed with the flavors I have tried here and the consistency of the ice cream is also great. This time we tried cheesecake and pandan flavors and both were delicious (so delicious I almost finished before it occurred to me to take a photo). While ordering the server was very helpful in explaining the flavors and offering samples. He was knowledgeable on the products and was very kind. We are inside and enjoyed the modern and chic vibes of the cafe. Can't wait to stop in again!

I missed out on the Yelp Elite night here but made sure to get my butt here! I didn't even get enough pictures of this place but it was all i ever wanted with some ice cream! Between customers chatting amongst themselves about what they were getting and looking at all the choices. My kinda ice cream place! Has all the unique flavors and even ice cream sandwiches...

Stopped by after grabbing some dinner at Punch down the street. Ice cream was reply good! The perfect sweet treat following pizza. Parking is metered street parking. The service was fantastic. And the overall aesthetic was really cute. Will be back.

Fantastic selection of ice cream and fun atmosphere. Hands down our favorite was the lemon poppyseed, so delicious and it's vegan. I greatly enjoyed the ube ice cream, not one that I find regularly and it was delicious, plus it's purple! Grabbed a snickerdoodle cookie from the variety of pastries and it was extra tasty with coffee, mmm mmm good.

So many options! Ice cream! Coffee! Pastries! Other goodies! We went specifially for ice cream and they definitely delivered. Sampled both watermelon and black licorice and ended up with a dish of watermelon. A lovely flavor for the end of summer. Service was quick and friendly. My biggest reason for taking off a star was the price. 3 small dishes ran over $20 with no toppings. That was a little steeper than I was hoping for.

Love Fletcher's! This location is a cafe and ice cream place so you can get some warm things, something to eat, and a nice dessert! I personally love the cow above the entrance it was a hilarious surprise. Parking: there's lots of street parking around the area, so I've never had issues! Service/ vibes: the people working there are great! Very patient and helpful. You can try the different flavors before you commit. There's a nice seating area but it's small. I think it's cozy. They also have at work around the walls that you can buy. Food: great ice cream!! They offer some vegan options as well and some savory snacks. I love coming here. :)

It was a hot day in Minneapolis so I needed to make an ice cream stop! The shop was definitely bustling when I pulled up to Fletcher's Ice Cream. The line was long but moved fairly quickly, and I needed some time to decide on my flavors anyway- so many great options! I ordered Ube and Salted Caramel Brownie in a cup. The ice cream had a lovely creamy texture and flavor. The Ube ice cream was really good! It can be tough to get a strong ube flavor but they did a great job. The Salted Caramel Brownie was also tasty but I wanted more of the salted caramel and brownie. Service was really friendly and helpful with flavor questions. Great spot for ice cream!

Fletchers is great quality ice cream! This spot has truly been popping this summer, with lines out the door often on nice summer nights. My favorite flavor thus far is pistachio and my boyfriend swears they have the best cookies and cream he has ever had. The only frustrating thing is that we had those flavors on our first visit and have been back many times hoping to see them but they haven't been available. Love the variety but wish there was more consistency for the top sellers. Fletchers is a great place to stop for a sweet treat after dinner in Northeast!

Great shop with friendly staff. They have various ice cream flavors, coffee, snacks available for purchase. They provide samples of ice cream to taste if you would like to try before you decide to buy. Street parking us a little tricky. The I e cream shop has few sit and eat tables set up both inside and outside which is nice to sit and enjoy food with friends and family. Ambiance is really good.

Overall I had a really great experience here! I never visited it in its previous location, but really enjoyed this space! It was really cute, although a few details felt rushed/unfinished/a little cheap. The person who helped me was very friendly and was more than willing to allow me to sample a few of the ice creams before deciding. It would've been really nice if they would've provided some recommendations though. My main complaint with the ice cream is that, although there were many flavors, I was hoping for more non-traditional ones. That's what I really look for in cute little local shops like this one. That said, I got a scoop of the lemon poppyseed on a waffle cone and it was absolutely mouth-watering. I couldn't get enough of it! It'd be even better on a warm summer day! I really liked that they offer more than just ice cream too--coffee, baked goods, sandwiches, and more (I'll be back for the waffles!). And they also have pints!

A great neighborhood spot for ice cream! Pros: - Line moves pretty quickly and the staff are kind. - Ice cream is outstanding! The flavor rotation is diverse. My favorite is raspberry chocolate chip. - Places inside and outside to sit. - Rewards program! Cons: - There have been a couple times where I was given a scoop larger than what I asked. And don't realize/understand until I get to pay. - The prices are pretty steep. A single scoop cone with tip runs about $8.

Delicious ice cream, cool flavors, and wonderful customer service! When my friends and I went here the other day we were greeted by the Fletcher's! I love when I can enter a business and see the actual owners. Mr. Fletcher was serving us the delicious ice cream, while his daughters were handling the cashier! Knowing that I was supporting a family meant all the more to me! Mr. Fletcher helped me decide between 3 flavors and I ended up getting a single scoop Pistachio Rose in a waffle cone ($6.50). The ice cream was delicious! Super rich and creamy with a good nuttiness from the pistachio nuts. They also had other flavors like sweet cream, cantaloupe cheesecake, etc. And if you're looking for a bite to eat or a coffee they have those too! Definitely a place to check out if you're in Northeast and looking for a place to grab some dessert or a sandwich.

I'm confused why I haven't come here earlier. The location is unassuming and probably would have missed it if I was just browsing the area while driving by. There is a parking lot which is nice and the inside is nice with good amount of seating. The inside is also unassuming in the sense that it doesn't have a lot of typical "Instagram-y" decor but has more of a chill vibe to it. I am a big fan of their lemon poppyseed ice cream. The flavor isn't too sweet or overwhelming which gives it a deliciously addictive quality for it. I probably could eat a full 2 scoops of it which is a compliment as I normally can't eat too much of the same flavor at a time. Also their waffle cones are delicious and worth the slight extra charge. Will be coming back to try other flavors.

This place is awesome! Love their waffles with ice cream . Their waffles are filling. They are pretty big and fluffy, soft and warm. You get a choice of ice cream on it and some whip cream. I haven't tried their paninis but they look good. It's a nice spot for a lunch break, lunch with a friend, or just because you like ice cream and waffles. The people working their are friendly. Fletchers is kind of small so when it gets busy there's no seats available but it's in a nice spot that you can get some ice cream and walk around.

Had to go back to Fletcher's because the first time I went was such a fantastic experience. However, I was DEVASTATED to see that they weren't offering their lemon poppyseed flavor! In a mild panic, because I had been planning on that flavor all day (and dreaming about it ever since I had it last), I hastily tried their blackberry lavender flavor. And I never should have doubted this place, because holy man. That flavor was also SO GOOD. Now I'm struggling to decide which flavor I had liked more!!! It was the perfect amount of sweet and flavorful, and it didn't taste like soap like I worried it may since it had lavender (I feel like a lot of lavender things taste like soap). Nope, this ice cream just tasted like creamy deliciousness. I would highly recommend that you give it a try if you are looking for something new!

Solid ice cream spot- I wish there were more flavors with mix ins because I like the added texture. I tried the lemon poppyseed (spot on, but a little too weird for me), pandan (really good), coconut (also really good), and mint chocolate chip (hard to mess this one up). They have savory food items and coffee as well, so will have to return for those.

We made a quick stop at Fletcher's for a late night treat. We were indecisive about which flavor to get since there were so many options! The workers were patient and allowed us to try as many flavors as we wanted. I enjoyed the cookie dough and coffee flavors they had. We ordered a cookie dough sundae and it was a lot bigger than I expected! The whipped cream with hot fudge tasted excellent and there was a healthy dose of cookie dough in each bite, more than enough for two people to share. I loved the brick walls and warm decor. Nothing particularly stood out to me about this ice cream spot since there are so many great options in the Twin Cities, but I think Fletcher's is lovely to place to get ice cream.

A very cute unique location. The inside is antique like and it looks cool. There is a cow inside , i am not sure what's her name is, but my friend and I call her Sally. The ice cream is very yummy. The Pistachio rose flavor is delicious. The strawberry part of the ice cream isnt heavy strawberry flavor. It is very light flavor. The cantaloupe flavor is good, however it is on the sweeter side. It does taste like the Korean melon flavor ice cream. Not a big sweet person, but I would recommend this cute location.

This ice cream is so tasty!! I was traveling in Minneapolis and was within walking distance of here on a hot day, so I decided to stop by. The person at the counter was so friendly and offered me samples to taste the different chocolate flavors. If you love dark chocolate but not other toppings in your ice cream, their XXX Chocolate is amazing! Don't sleep on the vegan version - if you're a fan of coconut, it's just as creamy as the dairy version.

Ice cream: Service: Ambiance: The staff here are very friendly and didn't complain when me and my boyfriend both sampled two of their flavors. We took a lot of time to decide as we were struggling to decide which ice cream to get because none of the ice cream stood out. It could just be the flavors they had available that day. I liked that they had quite a few vegan ice creams available, I don't have an intolerance but know many that do. It was a cute little shop that is perfect for studying or catching up with a friend. I would go back and see what flavors are available next time.

AMAZING! Super impressed by the flavors offered and the quality. I got the small and scoops of ube and lemon poppyseed. Ube was vegan and so creamy and perfect. The regular lemon poppyseed was perfectly lemony without overdoing it

Excellent ice cream options including some vegan selections. Great spread for coffee and espresso drinks as well; I had an Amaretto ice cream affogato, and my partner ordered a soy chai. Both were great pick me ups for our Art a Whirl weekend walk. We'll come back for the ice creams some day ahead.

Just fine ice cream, nothing too special. $20+ for 3 scoops is a lot. Cheesecake ice cream did not have any cheesecake bites in it so it was basically just vanilla

I stopped in for a scoop on a Saturday evening and didn't have a wait. I was hoping to try the cookie dough since I saw that in other reviews and it looked super yummy, but they didn't have it. I ended up sampling the pistachio and Skol (mixed berry) flavors and really enjoyed both - the pistachio pieces had a nice texture, the berries were yummy, and both ice cream bases had a great flavor! They also sell coffee drinks and baked goods, but I didn't try anything else on this trip. Overall, solid ice cream shop with good flavors that I would return to!

Hello Fletcher's team, I was a first time visitor tonight and thoroughly enjoyed your ice cream. It was a busy night, with us waiting at the tail end of a line out the door. However, I wanted to express my disappointment with one of your staff. I had intended to order a triple scoop and did in fact order a triple scoop. What was off putting about my interaction with this staff member was that she mentioned it was a 3 sample limit. Of the three flavors I tried, I didn't like all 3 and had to explain my rationale for her to provide another sample. As a customer who sees many options for flavors and was excited to support your business, I was very unhappy with her response to me.I was very patient waiting for my turn to sample and order. The staff should also be patient while serving their customers. If this is a store policy that she was trying to enforce, I think it doesn't make sense to offer triple scoops if we don't have the option to try more than 3 flavors since we may not like the first 3 flavors we try. Either she needs training to be more patient with customers or the policy is not conducive to help people buy a triple scoop combo that will make them the most satisfied. I hope this feedback can be helpful to make all customers' experiences a positive one.

Great selection and service. Their bakery presentation is incredible. I had their coffee chip vegan ice cream. It's made with coconut milk. Excellent. Outside seating too.

I've probably driven past this place a hundred times and never noticed it until now! I did not stop in for the ice cream, however, their menu offers so much more! As of now they are only takeout and walk up orders to-go. Sounds like they might be opening here soon to dine-in. I ordered takeout online. It was ready in less than 20 minutes, luckily I live close by. Walk into the "garage" space in the center and on the counter to the left are the pickup bags with names on them. We got the Wilted Greens Bowl, a massive cinnamon roll, a chai latte, and matcha latte. The greens bowl was surprisingly tasty. Spicy sauce with sweet maple glazed potatoes. The only thing I thought was a little odd was the cold quinoa under hot toppings. The cinnamon roll was delicious with melty cream cheese frosting. The chai was a little overpowering, very "spiced". The matcha was perfect and creamy, not super sweetened! Overall a pleasant breakfast on a quiet street in northeast! Street parking, lot parking, bike parking available! This is so convenient for us I'm eager to try more and update my review!
