Fletchers Restaurant

Beautiful settings, service was impeccable but unfortunately the food was mediocre and overpriced. Both my starter and main were luke warm at best and the duck was bland. I know these places you pay for quality not quantity but I was also left hungry. I literally got a piece and duck on a plate and there was no recommendations of any sides to accompany. No desert as nothing on the menu I liked the sound of - did consider the Ice-cream (other party members ordered this) but £20 for a small bowl is outrageous. Service was faultless however and the waitress (Phoebe) was 100% on it and outstanding Also I don't agree or like the service charge been automatically added to the bill as I don't agree with the tipping culture hospitality enforces on its dinners It was a nice experience for a special occasion but honestly expected more from the food

What an absolutely unbelievable meal and night we had on our anniversary. Whilst it certainly was at the top end of what we could afford, it was without question the best 3 course meal we both have ever had. Noting the puddings were too die for, under any circumstance not to be missed..... On top of that the amazing and attentive staff never stopped in genuinely making sure we were comfortable and happy without being annoying, thank you to the Fletchers team for being so incredible. On the way out of the restaurant the rain was dreadful and as a final gesture of excellence and style, Grantley hall were ferrying people to their cars in a Bentley.... Yes it is a decadent treat for us to go, Will I do it again next year..... 100% and in a heartbeat. We will probably remember this meal for he rest of out lives. Thank you until next time.

Amazing food, service was inconsistent, multiple people seeing to us, it changed every time, had to request someone open our wine, not kept on top of regards to wine pouring and water. Happy to do ourselves but it’s an expensive restaurant and a compulsory service charge gets added. Food was brought out whilst one diner was in the bathroom, attention to detail was lacking at a hotel of high standards.

Absolutely superb, amazing food and excellent service! The whole experience at Grantley Hall was amazing and I could not fault one thing, such a beautiful place and the Christmas decorations made it even more special. Looking forward to another visit! We had the Christmas lunch menu which was available up to the 23rd Dec 4 courses, coffee & mince pies & glass of champagne 🥂 for £65pp great value

This is a impressive old building standing in immaculatey kept grounds. There are a range of restaurants holding AA rosettes up to Michelin star awards. We had lunch in Fletchers restaurant where the food and service was first class.

Part of Grantley Halls restaurants on site. Beautifully serviced from the hosts. The Beef Wellington took 30 minutes (mentioned on menu) which is catered for a couple and did not disappointed at all. Full of flavour. The setting was very ambient, dimmed down tungsten lights creating a relaxed, romance atmosphere. Well done 👏🏼

Sat outside as it was a beautiful day..food was okay but nothing to run back for .. It has lovely surroundings and the staff are very pleasant.. and very helpful. Seating areas outside just need a little more attention as they were dirty.

On a hot day, has the most blissful atmosphere, champagne was flowing, the service, cleanliness and scene being set was first class. The food however was disappointing, so bland. Would be great for older people who don’t like loads of spice or weird flavours though, but like quality. However, I did find the food boring. I ordered some favourites of mine like scallops and salmon, but they didn’t taste of a whole lot. For the price I like to be blown away when it comes to flavour. It is Worth it to sit out on that terrace on a hot day though, but don’t expect your best meal on earth.
