I just had my first shopping experience at Fleur de Mal in NYC, and it was amazing! The store has such a cozy vibe, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They really knew their stuff and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I felt so comfortable and valued throughout my visit. I left with some great pieces and can't wait to tell my friends about it. If you're thinking about checking it out, I definitely recommend it for the great products and amazing service!

I’ve only ever browsed online with Fleur du Mal, so I was stoked when I found the store while wandering around Soho. Their stuff is so cute but definitely out of my budget this month (tax season 🫠). It was pretty busy when I walked in and the caliber of service for stores around this area are a bit of a coin toss, so I was prepared to just browse. However, Mack and Alexis were so friendly and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. They were also very helpful when it came to sizing and my styling questions as well. I don’t buy lingerie often, but I’m definitely coming back soon to get a set!

It took me some time to gather my thoughts and write this review following the exceptionally poor service we experienced during our visit. While it may seem trivial to the staff, being greeted with only a meek "hello" while they remained behind a desk / engaged with their phones does not create an inviting atmosphere. Sure, you technically “welcomed” us but that should have told us everything we needed to know about this brand. Despite the first impression, we continued to browse, but the lack of engagement was evident. Their idea of “welcoming” spoke volumes; there appeared to be little desire on the the staffs part to actually assist us or even initiate a conversation. Maybe if we came in waving money they’d give us the time of day. It really is strange, especially in this area known for luxury shopping, NYC SOHO of all places, to be the only customers in a small store yet still feel ignored. This could have been such a fun personal experience for my wife (we were birthday shopping). Anyway, We left shortly after realizing we wouldn't be helped. Some other people also came in (and right back out) and weren’t helped so we are certainly not taking it personally but absolutely won’t ever be back. Really is a bummer because the lingerie and clothes are pretty but for the price you would expect an appropriate level of service and care.

The items are undoubtedly beautiful, though overpriced in my opinion—but that's not the main issue. The sales staff didn't even greet me or acknowledge my presence the entire time I was there, let alone offer assistance. At these price points, you'd expect not just high-quality lingerie but also an impeccable customer experience. It seems they may have forgotten that providing great service is part of their job. 😉

I was not familiar with the brand untill yesterday when I searched online for a new bra lol. I decided to go check the store out without checking out their stuff and prices online as I was going Soho anyway, usually I don't read reviews but when I noticed that there are a few one star reviews out of curiosity I read them. My experience was great, it's a super cute boutique, beautiful lingerie.... As soon as I walked in the store I was greeted by someone by saying welcome and given a lot of space to walk around check everything out without being bothered by trying to sale something or talk you into buying something or giving you all the info you didn't ask about.... I'm really appreciate of the space I was given to be able to check every single piece, I hate when as soon as you walk in the store salesperson runs to you trying to give you millions of informations about the brand, sizes etc. I'm very appreciate of the space, if you have a question you should just ask. After checking every single piece out and knowing what I would like to try on I hear salesperson (I'm sorry I don't know her name) to please let her know if I have any questions, she was super nice, helped me out with everything I needed help with....I love the bra I purchased yesterday, funny when looking around I didn't look at the prices so while in a fitting room trying on that cute bras I got scared probably they cost fortune (as in a few reviews I saw people writing they lingerie is expensive or overpriced) I was really surprised seeing that bras I was trying on were $52 I think up to $100 and the one I picked was $52. Hmm I'm not sure how much people expect beautiful lingerie sold in a beautiful boutique in Soho cost? If you looking for lower prices I would suggest to go to Target? Highly recommend to stop by and check boutique out if you looking for beautiful lingerie.

Went the other evening and it's a cute store with amazing (& expensive) things. Too bad the sales girls were on their phones and barely uttered more than a weak hello. I'd probably still buy stuff online but won't bother coming back in person with service like that.

Love this boutique! I was nervous to try on lingerie and all the women working there made me feel so comfortable and properly measured me for bra fitting. Their clothing is also beautifully made. I count on Fleur whenever I have an occasion, the selection is always changing so I come back often.

I recently visited a boutique, initially attracted by the simple aesthetics of the window display and the brand’s persistent promotion across various online advertisements. The store's ambiance was pleasant, and it appeared that the staff had taken note of reviews regarding their greetings, so seems like there was a mild improvement in that area. First of all, I chose not to make a purchase and do not plan to return. I noticed that the business owner, ( Lily P. on Yelp but a fan of the brand on google reviews) seems to question the authenticity of reviews primarily from Black women, while disregarding those from white women who share the last name with the brands owner or from a seemingly male profile who only leave 5 stars and nothing verifiable, and shares a name with someone working for them. To avoid any potential misunderstanding, I am clarifying that I did not make a purchase during my visit on Saturday, April 19. I did not take note of anyone's names, and would appreciate not being offered a private shopping experience as compensation, and I will not be reaching out further or giving any more free feedback. Anyway, I was greeted, and no one used their phone that I saw, but upon searching through the overpriced collection on stuffed, disorganized racks, I quickly realized it was all for show. Staff couldn't answer questions more than yes or no or “sure yeah totally” and I encountered a significant disappointment: the limited range of sizes available. As someone who falls slightly outside the typical sizing spectrum, I was far far far out of this brands sizing. It was disheartening to discover that the store did not stock options that catered to all body types. At all. In this day an age, and in a world where inclusivity should be increasingly valued, it's unfortunate that such a seemingly prestigious brand does not accommodate a wider array of sizes. It felt like a joke when the girl offered me a Large that wouldn’t fit one of my legs. She even seemed to realize how silly it was to even offer it to me. They tried to help, they said their should be options online, but when I took the time later at home to look, anything larger tht i maybe was eyeing was all sold out too. Though the quality and design of the products were seemingly luxurious, the lack of options meant I left the store without making a purchase, and won’t be back because the staff made it clear they don’t even stock those options in store. I sincerely hope that this very slim straight white brand considers expanding their size range in the future to embrace and celebrate all forms of beauty. Until then, I will continue my search for a brand that caters to more diverse people!
