The Best Queer Bars and Nightclubs in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Flex Cocktail Lounge reopened in 2024 in a new location but with all the come-as-you-are flair it always had. With a vibe that falls between a nightclub and a dive bar, the bar next to Fun Hog Ranch hosts events and live entertainment like karaoke and disco-themed nights. It’s open 24 hours with pulsating music, roving lights, and a crowd of regulars who arrive dressed to impress." - Janna Karel

I walked into this bar in Las Vegas and was immediately hooked by the energy—Top 40 hits were playing, and the whole place just felt alive. I couldn’t decide whether to get up and dance or keep dancing in my seat with my drink in hand. The vibe was perfect. What really made the night unforgettable, though, was the bartender—Jay. He was phenomenal! Super hospitable, incredibly attentive, and genuinely kind. From the first interaction, he made me (and everyone else around the bar) feel welcomed and well taken care of. You can tell he really loves what he does, and it shows in every detail. As I sat there taking it all in—the music, the drinks, the energy—I knew I’d found a spot worth coming back to. Next time I’m in Vegas, I’ll definitely be back on a Sunday just to see my now-favorite bartender in town, Jay. Do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it!

My partner and I visited with a work collegue specifically for their Wednesday karaoke night and had a blast. The karaoke list moved quickly, and the hosts did a good job of hyping singers up and being entertaining in during the lulls between singers which honestly, after singing karaoke all over the world, you'd be surprised how many places don't understand the importance of that. Service at the bar was quick, despite the bar being modestly full. Drink prices were GREAT (but then again, we're from LA so most places seem great to us.) I will add that the decor/atmosphere was very heavy on the neon blue lighting all around the rectangular center bar, which seemed designed to keep people awake (it is a 24hr bar after all.) Being there really for karaoke, we didn't seek out interaction but despite that we still had several friendly people chat us with us, despite it seeming to be a locals hangout. All in all we had a great time and definitely recommend it for anyone who enjoys karaoke and a few drinks.

It’s $5 for a “large” 16 fluid ounce Bud Light, I’m a basic drinker. Which is cheap if you want to spend the last moment drinking light beer here, I’ve gotten larger mugs for the same price but whatever this place is new. The venue is very nice, very clean. They even pump fragrance like the big casinos do in here. They got a dance floor with a DJ booth for a small space. They got a disco ball and modern lighting. There is a vending machine with snacks, the minimum price of $1.50 for Doritos chips. I would say it’s a tad bit smaller from the original Flex but it’s better laid out with better views of the crowd and much cleaner. I would definitely want to see this place packed one night. Definitely coming back for sure. Very worthy for a non-local to visit if you ask me. I hope they do well and stay around, much closer to home.

With me only visiting this place twice in my three weeks of being in Vegas. I must say this is becoming my place to be. It’s a Saturday night and it’s a decent crowd but it’s giving me my life. Cute guys, amazing bartenders and drinks that have me pretty lit. But most importantly, the bartender Vanessa is in a class of her own. Something about her is just awe inspiring because of her personality and her ability to connect with the patrons. Her causal wink and jovial smile just puts you at ease. This is my new “cheers” and it’ll behoove to give it a chance when you walk into the doors. Tens cross the board!?!

I don’t know what happened to Stephen or where he is but this went from my second favorite bar behind fun hog to a place I don’t think I’ll come to again. This late night bartender is terrible. He has zero customer service skills.

I started coming here because I knew one of the bartenders, but I'm so glad for the recommendation. Perfect size, it's big enough to move around and enjoy yourself with a big stage area (that has seating), but small enough to feel like you're at home and part of the community. The bartenders are absolutely fantastic and attentive, and the owners clearly care about the place. It's so clean, good atmosphere, cheap drinks, and some of the regulars are wonderful. Highly recommend checking it out!

Was ok and better than fun hog ranch/the garage but the vibes were just weird, no one speaking to each other, keeping to themselves, just not what I expected from a gay bar with drunk gays in there lol
