Flic En Flac Beach

Flic en Flac Beach is beautiful, vibrant, and full of energy. I visited and immediately felt I should have come here earlier. The experience was different from other beaches in Mauritius. I came from Rose Hill on the UBS bus. It took around 45 minutes because of traffic. The return trip took longer, but the ride was still fine. The beach looked clean. The overall care for the coastline impressed me. Many places can learn from this level of maintenance. You get some of the best views on the island here. The water is crystal clear. The sunsets are stunning. The area feels positive and welcoming. The beach was more crowded than other spots I visited. It added to the lively atmosphere. Tourists and locals were enjoying their time. I also noticed good ♿ accessibility arrangements.🅿️♿ Accessible car parking was visible right at the entrance. If you want a clean beach with great views and a lively scene, Flic en Flac is a strong choice.

Undoubtedly one of the most famous beaches of Mauritius. The beach although crowded but has enough space to walk around and feels calm as well. There are multiple eatery options at the beach as well as on the opposite side of the road. Parking is ample.

Visited Flic en Flac Beach in the evening and got to witness one of the most beautiful sunsets in Mauritius. The golden light reflecting on the calm waters, with the horizon slowly turning shades of orange and pink, was simply magical. The beach itself is long, clean, and perfect for a relaxing stroll. The atmosphere was peaceful, with a gentle breeze and the sound of waves creating the perfect setting to unwind. A must-visit if you’re in Mauritius — especially in the evening for a picture-perfect sunset experience.

Long beach, nice to walk and watch the sunset in a huge amount of people, just for fun and to chill with locals. Corals and bit muddy water. Reminds Beau Vallon in Seychelles.

Beautiful beach, much quieter than expected as it is quite a touristy area. The snorkeling was great, we saw loads of different and very colourful fish. The lagoon is very shallow and has a lot of urchins so make sure not to stand while snorkeling amongst the corals. Food trucks are good along the beach, there are also restaurants if you prefer.
