Sue helped us host our annual Beaujolais party and it was truly a hit with our 30 or so guests, who just loved the cozy venue. Her assistance and support were just what we needed. She procured the wine and other goodies, and helped us set up and take down in a very efficient manner. Highly recommend!

Google
Went there for a murder mystery dinner. The dinner served was more along the line of a three-course nosh. That being said, the food was tasty, the ambiance was lovely, the customer service was stellar, and the staff was incredibly accommodating! A+!

Stopped out of curiosity after taking a walk by the Genessee River. Very nice- pleasant aesthetics, great service and jazz fills the ambiance. Great wines and food selections! Will definitely return when I travel back to Rochester!

Google
It's a very small space. The tables are very close together. It was music night and there was a birthday party going on. If you're a large person you might want to think twice. We ordered the three item charcuterie board. The charcuterie board was very sad. The presentation was very boring. The prosciutto was served like a blob of meat. We had the wine flight, which wasn't bad. Make sure you make a reservation for music night.

Google
Lovely tasting - our party had two white flights on one of the hottest days of the year. Went early to avoid the busy time which was perfect. Also enjoyed a board with three cheeses, bread, jam, and honey. Highly recommend.

Google
What a great little spot, right on the Genesee River in downtown Rochester! You'll feel welcomed and appreciated from the moment you walk in the door. Lovely, varied menu of wines, beer and light bites served in a comfortable, relaxed space. The service is fantastic - my friend and I really enjoyed talking with Allie and appreciated her gracious hospitality! They do live music every week, special fun and charitable events and food pairing events. Add this place to your must-visit list!

Google
Sue and Harold are such welcoming host for RPS events. I enjoy doing wine glass painting events in such ard relaxing and fun atmosphere, and folks seem to appreciate that too. If you have the chance to attend one of those events, I highly reccomend.

Google
Quaint and quiet place along the water. Stop in for a drink before the door at the arena or just to try out a night. Helpful staff and friendly. Take off with a flight.

Yelp
Flight Wine Bar in the Cornhill area of Rochester offers high quality wine flights and live music on certain evenings of the week. Dan and I shared some wine flights with red wines from France, Canada, and Italy. They were all delicious. Then our awesome attentive waiter Richard told us we could order some small bites. We chose the "choose" 3 and ordered the artichoke spinach dip with pita chips & veggies, a cheddar soaked wine cheese, and can't forget the awesome herbed olives (my favorite). They also gave us some high quality aged balsamic and baguette. There's a local chocolatier - so we had to get the few pieces to pair with the red wine (orange peal chocolate, sesame chocolate, and truffle) and all were a treat. The live music was the perfect touch to an enjoyable evening and the service was top notch. We will definitely visit Flight Wine Bar again when visiting family in Rochester!

Yelp
Sue the owner is a breath of fresh air! Mocktails are on the menu. I had the Strawberry and Basil Kombucharita. I love their options for cheese and charcuterie boards. This was an enjoyable ladies night. Also, Wednesdays are half price bottles of wine. You can't beat that if you like wine. I'm so glad Flight was so accommodating. They also have fiber nights and make your own bonsai decorating as well. I'll definitely be frequenting as the weather warms up. Thank you for a memorable mid week boost.

Yelp
I have been to this mini Plaza (where Tony Ds used to be) many times and for some reason never spotted this hidden gem. Thanks to a yelp event I was able to discover! The restaurant it self has a very classy feel while still being welcoming. flight offers so much more than just wine though. They are trying to accommodate to those who do not drink as well. Offering non alcoholic drinks and have almost daily events and/or classes for all to partake in.

Yelp
We went here with a toddler and although it was difficult to entertain him, the staff was very courteous and friendly. Would I recommend bringing a kid here? Probably not, but it's doable. Place is nice and clean and we had it to ourselves on a Saturday at 2 PM. Wine was very tasty, they had many options. We also got the charcuterie board, which had a big block of cheese and olives. Everything was delicious.

Yelp
Although small, the business has a great atmosphere and featured live jazz music when we visited. I had the Uncork the North wine flight, which included three red wines from Canada (one of which was sparkling), all delicious. My friend had the cider flight which was also great, three ciders from Embark. To top it off, we had a charcuterie board with vegan gouda, plant-based salami, and hummus, which was all tasty and served on an attractive slate. Would definitely go back. One of the nicer wine bars in Rochester in my opinion.

Yelp
Great hidden gem close to the city and close to the river. Not just for wine lovers! Incredible selection of all kinds of libations makes it a perfect stop for everyone in your friend and / or family group.

Yelp
Fantastic!! Sue is amazing. We went to a Bonsai Bar event last night at Flight. The space is so great, amazing selection of wines. Charcuterie board was excellent as was the Chicken salad. Highly recommend if your looking for a cozy spot and a great patio in the warm months. You will love it!

Yelp
Flight helped me host my wife's birthday, Sue was amazing and the staff paid attention to every detail to make our night excellent, we had 20 in in lounge area and the space was perfect

Yelp
nice atmosphere and wine list. looking forward to visiting again when there is live music

Yelp
Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very comfortable venue. Great spot for conversation and top quality drinks and service.

Yelp
This location is pretty good if you are looking to taste a flight with a small snack. they have charcuterie board and desserts I believe. I've only had their cheese boards with meat, olives, nuts and bread. you get to try three wines in a flight or singles. the seating is pretty small inside so go at a good time. small tables surround a bar to sit at as well. During the warm seasons they also have a nice patio outside. the menu is pretty nice with many choices so I do intend to return to try other wines.

Yelp
Great place to go for a date night with your honey. Nice atmosphere, great service, and amazing food and wine!

Yelp
Big fan of Flight! I started coming quite a bit in a college and haven't been in way too long. I have enjoyed red and white flights and a wide variety of cheeses with their delicious bread. They also offer some great chocolate truffles for an after dinner treat, and wines by the glass as well. The ambience is lovely whether you sit at the front bar or in the back cozy area. A favorite place of mine is their front patio in the summer. The Corn Hill plaza is a treat and there is ample parking all around. Take a walk and take in the beautiful view this area provides! Their bartenders and serve staff are super kind and generally fairly knowledgeable about what flight would work best with your preferences. I would highly recommend a date night or girls night trip!

Yelp
Flight had a great wine selection and offers half price bottle of wine on Wednesday's! We ordered a charcuterie board and sat in the lounge area. They also have plenty of seating outside on the patio. The service was great even when they started to get pretty busy! It is close to Blue Cross Arena so it's a perfect spot to visit before going to a show/concert. Will definitely come back again with friends!

Yelp
Very classy ambiance, great selection of wine. loved the cheese boards! Service was fast and very friendly. Will be back again

Yelp
Comfortable, but cool vibe. Really lovely wine selection and tasty snacks. Friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable staff. What a great place to share some wine and good times with friends!

Yelp
Flight has a new owner and she is amazing! The atmosphere and energy has completely shifted. The bar is full again again and people are enjoying themselves. We came on Wednesday night, sat at the bar, enjoyed a bottle of wine and bruschetta. We will definitely be back again. Give the new owner a chance you won't regret it!

Yelp
Cute wine bar! As the name suggests they specialize in flights of wine but they also do cute cheese boards where they have a decent selection of cheeses and charcuterie. I wish you didn't have to pay extra for the add ons as I feel like their extra options such as nuts and fruit blend are pretty standard for cheese boards. Other than that, definitely recommend and I heard they do wine and paint nights also which I wanna check out once!

Brittany G.

Yelp
Such amazing hospitality! Sue is awesome and really goes above and beyond for her patrons - highly recommend for small events!!

Yelp
Love this little spot. We had time to spare before our reservations at Tony D's so we stopped into Flight for a glass of wine. It's small, but cozy! Bartender was the only one on and it was a slow night so we got very quick service. They have a pretty diverse selection of wines so there's something for everyone. You can also order munchies to go with your drinks. We tried the homemade chips on this visit. Yum! Olive, cheese... everything is good here. The parking situation can be tough in this area. We did have to park across the street and there is street parking if you're lucky enough to find a spot. It's relaxing, fairly quiet and a great place for hanging out :)

Yelp
How fun is this place! This was my first experience of a wine bar and I had a great time. We ordered the Great White flight which was just ok... I honestly couldn't even tell the difference between two of the wines. We also ordered Night Cap flight which I really enjoyed. The wine glasses given in the Night Cap flight were much smaller than the other flight (pictures below). This because their alcohol content is much higher. At first glance I thought they were not going to be enough but by the end of the night I understood why they were portioned out as they were. Favorite wine of the night = Goose Ice Wine (a sweet rose) I definitely recommend pairing the wines with cheese or chocolate (or both like we did :p). It's really amazing how different/better wine can taste when paired with food!! We had the Chèvre, which was a good choice to pair with all the wines. However the flavor was very subtle, next time I'd like to try something else. The cheese platter came with bread, honey and a tin of salt&pepper. As for chocolates whiskey fig truffle was delicious. If Christmas had a flavor this is what I would think it tastes like. Pomegranate truffle was also yummy. (Both are dark chocolate).

Yelp
I've visited this spot twice now (both with Groupons). I'm not the biggest wine drinker so it was great that the servers both times were knowledgeable. First visit I got a slightly sweet white flight and next visit I got a sparkling wine cocktail (blueberry lemon and thyme flavor). I enjoyed the cocktail more because I like mixed drinks vs just straight up wine. My favorite part both times was the cheeseboard. My friend and I did 4 cheeses, 1 meat and olives, which was enough to satisfy both of us. It comes with a baguette, honey and delicious grainy mustard. I will say it's an expensive spot if you aren't using a Groupon to help cover the food (doesn't apply to alcohol). I'm not sure I'd visit again without one - but that doesn't take away from its quaintness, quietness and knowledgeable servers!

Yelp
My two favorite things about wine bars are the ability to try wines I would not previously have been exposed to and the server's ability to find a wine to suit my mood. Flight offers both. It is an intimate space; boasting a small amount of food to pair with your wine selection (chocolates, charcuterie, cheese, veggies) and has several price points; so there is something for all wine lovers. It would make for a great date, or just a quick drink spot before an evening out in the area. What a gem!

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this place out and had a chance to catch up with a friend so we decided to meet here. I got there first and was immediately awed by the decor wall of wine bottles behind bar as soon as I walked in. It's a small place and was crowded on a Friday night so I didn't get to peruse the area. It took some time to get seated, not that there weren't any tables, more so because the staff wasn't available. I did notice the owner, I assume, in the front area but he didn't offer to seat me. I didn't find the staff to be very friendly either....maybe it was because they were packed.... We sat outside on this cool night and luckily we were next to the heaters so it was enjoyable. We ordered the 600 days aged prosciutto which was yummy and melts in your mouth. The Belletoile cheese from France was creamy, brie-style, lightly bitter and earthy flavor. I had a glass of Jelu Estate Reserve Syrah from Argentina which was a very smooth medium bodied red. I would like to give Flight another try, but given the limited parking, space and service, it'll be a while.

Yelp
Very nice wine bar. I love the decor. The wine list changes slightly every few weeks ; always a new wine to try. And the charcuterie plate is a favorite too.
google avatar

Marissa N.

Yelp
We took advantage of a groupon deal. On line I thought the prices were high but the pours were decent, the cheese options were solid and portions adequate, ample bread. I'm not a fan of having to ask for more bread. The olive oils were very similar in taste, the pinch pot of salt and pepper was a nice highlight. Valdeon blue was great, midnight moon and gouda also solid choices. The bucherondin seemed old, dried out and not as creamy as it should have been. We tried the speechless and delicate few samplers, each of the three wines were paired well with each other.

Yelp
Had an enjoyable visit and wine/beer tasting. Elle was wonderful, entertaining and educational. She helped explain how different wines were enhanced by the foods you eat and how they bond with the proteins and fats we consume in order to broaden our flavor spectrum. One of her questions she asked was "What does the wine tell you?" (Put your ear up to the glass and listen closely). Highly recommend that you experience the wines that she has carefully selected. While her preferences are towards the French varietals, she has excellent choices from all over the world. You may be surprised to find your go to wine is no longer your go to, and has been supplanted with something totally different. Left with a few ideas for some future purchases and a much broadened mind. Prosecco and potato chips anyone?

Yelp
Went to Flight for a date night, and had a very nice time. As other reviews have mentioned, the tables are pretty close together and there isn't a ton of space inside, so plan accordingly if you have a big group. As for the menu, you could choose a wine flight, or a single glass. If you're just learning about wine, no worries - the servers provide excellent explanations of the various flights, and its a good opportunity to try something you've never seen/heard of/tasted before. We had one red and one white and one chocolate flight. My advise - regardless of what you wine you order, get the chocolate flight. Two things about the chocolate flight will amaze you: 1 - the flavor of the wine completely changes after nibbling on the chocolate 2 - the amount of snooty "wine talk" that comes out of your mouth is unparalleled "Oh, the residual sugar is so much more noticeable...the floral note are like a bouquet in my mouth....The tanins blah blah blah". But, the chocolate is from Hedonist and its freaking amazing. So, snooty talk aside, it is totally worth it! PS - Sorry Pradip A. because I have once again essentially written the same thing as you!

Yelp
Stopped in at Flight for the first time last night. The atmosphere is very small but warm and cozy. I really liked the dim lighting. It would make for a nice romantic date. We were greeted right away and seated at a table by the window. Tables are so close together that I felt the need to apologize to the table next to us as I squeezed by them. Later our server actually apologized to them for her butt being in their faces as she served us. Kinda funny being schooled on wine and hearing a butt apology at the same time. Our server although a little awkward was friendly and very willing to offer suggestions and insight on any selections. We ordered a bottle of California cab that was great and then i also did the Cardinal Virtues flight. I shot myself in the foot by ordering the flight after tasting the bottle because the flight selections didn't even compare to the bottle. I felt forced to finish the flight but really only wanted more of the wine from the bottle we purchased. Note to self ...don't order an expensive bottle before trying a middle of the road flight. The order of operation is all wrong. We didn't order any food because we had just come from dinner but their offerings did look good...next time. Flight is definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
I love how unique this spot is in Rochester. It's small and quaint, the decor is well thought out, and it's never so loud that you can't hear your friends! Oh...and I could easily live off wine, cheese, and bread from this place! Plus they give you complimentary little green olives, what more do you need? Needless to say the flights of wine are wonderful, I'm dying to try that champagne flight still! I usually head for the red but they select their wines very carefully and never serve poor quality wines. The cheese selection is totally delish, especially the goat with honey! They also have great meats and have olive oil tastings which is so fun! Plus they have a little selection of chocolate truffles, the salted caramel is my absolute favorite and worth the money 100%! Great spot to go with girlfriends and spend some time or even just stop by on your way to dinner elsewhere for drinks!

Yelp
The atmosphere is one of shared intimacy. Warm and stylish at the same time. Elle, the owner and sommelier is gracious, friendly, and enthusiastic about sharing her passion. The pours in her flights are generous. She includes high quality wines from the local Finger Lakes region and lets them stand next to foreign and Californian wines. My wife and I brought our wine-loving daughter here for her 21st birthday. Elle generously shared her time and experience with our daughter, and then surprised her with a flute of birthday bubbly - an amazing Prosecco.
google avatar

Kaleigh E.

Yelp
Very cute little wine bar! Great place to go for a date night or a little after work drink with friends. Decent selection of wine (I've definitely seen much wider selections at other wine bars) I was pleased with my Great White flight. Not much in the way of sweet wines (only a few sweet whites, no sweet reds), but if that's not your thing, you have nothing to worry about! PS parking can be difficult at times, we were able to find a spot in the lot adjacent to the building but you may have to park across the street.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Love this cozy little spot. Didn't catch her name, but the attractive blonde lady who always seems to be working when we visit is very helpful and has full on sommelier cred when it comes to describing wines, growing regions, soil, etc. Always very skilled at helping us choose a flight. Some tasty small plates are a great accompaniment. Great little wine bar.

Yelp
Outstanding!!! I cannot actually believe I have never been here before since I used to work nearby. We came here after a terrible meal at a new restaurant for a flight, charcuterie, and dessert and it exceeded my expectations. The bartender brought our flight over and was extremely knowledgeable, which I find so rare today in trendy places. The server was fantastic- also very knowledgeable. It was quiet, intimate, and romantic. The warm olives were delicious as were the Hedonist truffles and flourless chocolate raspberry cake. Parking is always tricky in Corn Hill but it's worth it. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Bryan K.

Yelp
Completely underwhelming...coming from the downstate region I've been to a fair share of wine bars and have worked retail wine/liquor for years and this does not make the cut. OKAY wine selection with a bartender who had next to zero interest in how I was doing with everything. She was clearly buds with everyone else there (not me). Limited menu, cheese and charcuterie only with a few other items. Bottom line: I had a flight, one cheese, one meat...not worth the price for the experience. Walked across street for a thousand times better experience for drinks and a bite.
google avatar

Erin W.

Yelp
I love Flight for date night, pre-dinner drinks, or happy hour with my girlfriends! Flight has a diverse selection of wine and everyone who works there is extremely knowledgeable. I am a huge fan of their champagne flights, especially in the summer when sitting out on their patio. Make sure you try out a couple of their cheeses while you're there too! They come with bread, dried fruit, and honey and there's so many options to choose from. The only reason I didn't give Flight 5 full stars is that sometimes when sitting outside, service can be a bit slow. It's not a huge issue however because the atmosphere is relaxing and it's a great place to be!
google avatar

Sydney B.

Yelp
Flight has hosted a few different types events for me, which is why I keep going back. Attentive service, and a great selection are two of the main culprits for my return trips. Although the space is not large, it can accommodate a party of two as well as a party of 10. They have outdoor seating, which is a must for small Rochester spots because with the short sunny period throughout the year we do have, we like to stay outside as long as possible. I don't know too much about wine, but I know what I like, and the servers at Flight have always been helpful and on point with their suggestions. With small snacks (cheese plates, charcuterie boards, chocolates, veggies and olive oil tastings), Flight has everything I need for a good wine night.
google avatar

Roxanne T.

Yelp
Spent a lovely evening at Flight! They offer pre-selected "flights" and we had one that included three great reds. Also ordered a tray of snacks which included some amazing dill pickles! The atmosphere is relaxed and knowledgeable. We started inside and then moved to the patio, both great for conversation. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
I'm either getting really old or I'm turning in to a housewife (Ramona Singer, anyone?) because I cannot go a single day without just a little (or a lot) of wine so Flight Wine Bar was the perfect addition to the neighborhood. Flight is located in a tiny corner of the Corn Hill landing. The space, L shaped, is a mix of the bar, tables/booths and comfy chairs. I love love love the decor here, its exactly the kind of place that I like to drink wine: dark, warm, cozy and hip. I stopped in last week with a friend to catch up, unfortunately we didn't do much catching up as we chatted with the friendly bartender almost the entire time. One glass of wine turned in to 2 and 2 in to 3. We ordered some cheese to pair with our wine (and to give us some substance) along with some chocolate truffles, for dessert naturally. I've been to plenty of wine bars in my time and they all seem to have the same formula, soft music, lots of candles, fresh flowers and comfortable furniture. Flight Wine Bar is no different. The menu is exceptional and the staff is trustworthy and though it can get pricey, it's worth every penny. Bring your mom, boyfriend, sister, girlfriends or even your favorite housewife to Flight, they won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Great wine bar for a romantic night out. Ambiance is perfect for enjoying a great glass of wine..or 3. Cheese selection is exquisite. Service is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Best place for a date or a low key night out with friends!! My experiences at Flight are always amazing. They have some very interesting wines on tap that change regularly! The bartender is so fun to chat with. Her passion for wine and the industry really makes the tasting experience fascinating. Most of these wines come from boutique wineries around the world and Its fun to hear stories about the vineyards and families who produce the wines. The decor and ambiance at Flight is truly cozy, upscale yet unpretentious. The owners are constantly there and always make us feel welcome, like old friends. Definitely check this place out! OH... did I mention the cheese flight menu?! Their new ricotta cheese is phenomenal! Pair it with a flight of wine and you have a perfect post-dinner date spot
google avatar

Swati M.

Yelp
I used to live above Flight and found it to be the perfect place for an evening glass of wine. Their menu includes options for a flight (a group of 3 wines), as well as options for a single glass. They often have specials with new things to try.The staff here are friendly and knowledgable about wine. They also have great cheeseboards. As other reviewers mention, this may not be the best place for large groups (particularly during the winter when the outdoor seating is not available).

Yelp
I have been dying to try Flight for some time now. I love the concept; encouraging the sampling of different wines with a "flight". And I love that Rochester has two fully dedicated wine bars. Unfortunately I can't give Flight more than three stars. 8 of us showed up in the early evening on a recent snowy Saturday. We had actually called ahead to see if they could accommodate us, while they could when we showed up, I'm not sure they would have said no if they were packed. We grabbed a table and were promptly waited on. The table we sat at was close to the door, and it being a winter night, we got a cold breeze every time someone entered or left... not a good design. The decor was lacking too, while everything was "new" it was highly impersonal (any Starbucks has more personality!). It really looked like someone had just extended the "coffee station" of a regular restaurant to create the bar area. I did not get a good look at the "bar" itself which is supposed to be unique in its own right. The wall of wines actually looks much better in the pictures on website than in the flesh. And to round out this rant on the decor/design, the layout is extremely awkward and there was only one multi-sex bathroom (a long long wait when the place is bumpin') right next to a kitchen that should have been hidden from view (at the very least!). Most in my party had flights, a few had singular glasses of wine. I have no complaints about the wine itself (you get what you pay for) and I thought the prices were reasonable. While the waitress was prompt, she seemed more a cocktail waitress than one who has any knowledge beyond the menu (per her responses to queries we made)... please note this is not intended to be disparaging towards her. Finally, and this is unforgivable, the entire menu does not include the YEAR of any of the wines! How can a wine bar forget one of the most important features of wine!! The owner needs to tear up all the current menus and issue new ones! I should take another star off, but I hate to discourage future patrons from visiting.
google avatar

Joe M.

Yelp
Warm and cozy place to have some delicious wine. They have a great selection and truly take pride in providing quality wines. They offer the perfect amount of snacks that all pair excellent with whatever wine you choose. This wine bar is a bit on the higher end of the spectrum of what is offered around the city and the prices reflect it, but so does the quality. Pro tip, don't try to sit in the comfy couch section unless there are enough people to sit all the seats...but they will let you know this is their policy if you even look over there. I get it...
google avatar

Jen R.

Yelp
My friend Anna and I went here after my Yelp Elite event, it's close to her house. Oddly enough we ran into friends sitting outside so we joined them. The menu with the wine offerings was well curated and compact. They had Bouvay by the glass (French Sparkling) and we got some Hedonist Chocolate. Unfortunately I have no clue if they serve food or bites to go with flights of wine to bad it would have been nice things know or given some sort of direction. Our server was nice but slightly timid, oh well. I will definitely come back, parking is easy. The wine/flight list is very good and the prices are reasonable. I will be back for sure! Cheers!

Yelp
A wonderful addition to the Corn Hill area. Visit with a small group because the space is tight or shall I say "cozy." I prefer to sit at the bar to admire in awe the wine display behind the bar. Plus, the info you'll learn from the bartender, err sommelier, is so valuable. There are a few tables and comfy seats. In the summer they open up the patio, which is a necessity. This is another spot I love to frequent to try new wines and expose myself to a little wine history lesson with the various flight options. Beyond the wines, they offer some light fare, including cheese and charcuterie plates. A little pricy at $15 for 3 choices, but they provide a few delicious choices that will pair well with your flights.

Yelp
The ambiance of Flight is wonderful, and the wine selection is spectacular. There is a decent amount of seating, and it is comfortable. I ordered the Bare Essence flight and loved every wine! Our friends also enjoyed their wines and ordered a cheese plate, which came with a surprising amount of food. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They seemed a little understaffed, or maybe the staff there was not as attentive as they should have been. Not a huge deal to us, but worth mentioning - hopefully you are not in a rush when you're at a wine bar anyway! Parking is in the small lot or on the street (unpaid) - most likely on the street - that parking lot fills up fast! Easy-to-find street parking with a short walk, though.

Yelp
I came here once a few weeks ago on a whim after having dinner at the Tap & Table (pub next door). The wine bar is about the size of a small coffee shop; I doubt it can seat more than 50 people in there. There is a bar towards the center that has a pretty decent variety of wines on display. In front of the bar is the front area with tables and there is another area adjacent to the bar with more tables. You can choose to sit at the bar or at the tables. The atmosphere seems pretty yuppie-like, but there are younger folks like us all the way to 60 year olds. The setup is fairly simple but effective. Menu is mainly wines (obviously), but also has some simple appetizers, cheese plates, and cold cut plates. They have flights that you can do and sample 3 different wines. Each flight is themed differently. You can also buy wines by the glass if you happen to like a particular wine as well. They have a good selection from many different regions and styles, including a couple of port wines, of which I was pleased. We ordered the cheese sampler and chose 3 different cheeses from the list. It came with some olives, bread, and honey as well. Our waitress did not have too extensive of knowledge on wine, but there is a sommelier who is running the bar who helped with our questions. Overall, I had a lot of fun. My fiancee is more into wine than I am but I enjoyed the novelty of this place. Of note, we came on a Thursday late afternoon (around 5pm) and there were maybe 8 other people here, which made it very comfortable and quiet. We were told by the staff that Fri and Sat nights get pretty packed. Their beer selection is mediocre at best, which is understandable, considering this is a wine bar. I wish the waitress had a better knowledge base and we got bigger pours, but not a bad place. I give 3.5 stars.

Yelp
I've been to Flight three times: once on a date night, once for a girls night, and once for a girl-date night. Each time I really enjoy myself, but I'm always a little shell shocked at how much I've ended up spending. $13-20 for a flight of wine (depending on which one you choose) and $15 for a plate of three cheese or three meats. At least they bring out complimentary olives to start! When I was there last night, the server was new, but she helped us as much as she could, she apologized when she couldn't, and had a really great attitude. I'm not a wine snob, so when she couldn't answer all my questions, I was ok with it. In previous experiences, the people who COULD answer all my questions weren't as receptive to them, but she was happy to chat with us and look into what we needed to know. Great place for an intimate conversation with a date or friends. I'll definitely be back!
