"We’re willing to overlook the groan-inducing name of this LAX-adjacent beer bar (airline flights… flights of beer… get it?) because it delivers the sports bar essentials. They’ve got over 20 craft beers on tap, the food is good enough that you might go here on a non-game day (try the short rib quesadilla), and even during whatever playoff run is currently gripping the city, finding a seat with a TV view is less stressful than the TSA line. Located in a completely unremarkable strip mall next to a Subway, Flights is easy to miss, so we suggest coming here if you want a more under-the-radar (oh god, another aviation pun) experience. My buddy and I were craving wings while watching the UFC fight, so we decided to check out Flights. I have to say, their wing selection and taste were surprisingly good! The place was packed, as you’d expect on a night like that, which led to some challenges for the staff. One server seemed a bit frustrated—when my friend requested a specific drink, the server initially made a comment about it being an issue but quickly caught themselves and moved on. Despite that brief moment, the overall experience was great. I'd definitely recommend this spot for good wings and a lively atmosphere.

Google
We came for a going away party for our work colleague. The place was a decent size, plenty of big screen TV. Good selection of craft beers. Food was good. Best of all, the service staff was very helpful, patient, friendly and efficient. Looking forward to coming back. 17Aug22 A small group of us decided to come here for Happy Hour. Great service, very laid back casual, atmosphere. The service was excellent. The drinks, beer and the food was on point.

Google
Pleasant staff, great drinks, and the best “sports bar” food I have tasted in a while(Guacamole awesome!) It’s smaller inside than I expected but I loved that too!

Google
Highly recommend this bar First time here and I really enjoyed my time. Attentive and friendly staff from cook to hostess and busser. Wings were great! You can tell the food quality is A1. The venue is a bit on the smaller side so it is somewhat crowded but they do the best to accommodate seating. Bathroom was clean so that a big PLUS

Google
Can on a whim to spend a saturday night. Not crowded and tried at least five beers. All delicious! Whatever you do have a quesadilla they are all delicious. Going to try and come back tomorrow night since we're only visiting.

Google
Scary situation here. If and when you come here to drink please please be careful or bring a chaperone with you. This is what happens when you go drink at Flights. They over fill you with alcohol and don’t know they’re limits. I mean I understand people are adults and should know what they’re doing. But honestly when your senses are hindered it’s difficult to make decisions. and the bar tender should be trained enough to know when to stop serving alcohol to patrons who are you wasted. I understand they want their tips but really to the point where your careless about others wellbeing. A business should take care of their clients and not just see them as money. I hope and pray everything goes well with this guy. That’s two incidents that I know of here at this location because the bar over serves alcohol. Someone should sue them if they continue. They are liable too

Google
Great beer selection. Wonderful customer service. Food is great. Love coming here when I want to just have a nice chill night out with friends.

Google
The portions are small and pricey. Tried the Onion Rings and I stopped there, they didn't look nor taste like hand-battered onion rings... they were burnt crispy and chewy mushy at the bite and 15bucks. Clearly prepackaged frozen. Small portions place, big prices -_-

Yelp
Giving Flights 5 Stars. Don't let the outside fool you. You will be surprised when you step through the door. Here's why - let's jump right into this review. The ex and I popped in on a Sunday evening to see the Dodgers play. The 2024 World Series Champions **poppin' collar**. This is what we had - we shared. 1. Boneless Dream Wings served with veggie sticks and chips - those chips are fiyah! The boneless wings were good as well. I prefer bone-in but the ex doesn't, so, I compromised. I recommend Stealth and Aviator seasoning/flavor. 2. Street Tacos - you have the option to choose from chicken, shrimp, and carne asada (they will allow you two pick two different types of meats). The tacos are served with a side of chips and guacamole. The tacos were good, they are street tacos, they are small but pack a punch of flavor. I don't know prices - ex paid. He didn't complain so it must of been reasonable. Pros 1. Clean environment. 2. Service was great. 3. Multiple TVs - can see from any angle inside. 4. Food is good - traditional bar food, but still tasty. 5. Free parking but not many parking spots direct in front of bar. However, Flights is located in a larger shopping area that offers plenty of parking. 6. Large beer selection. Cons 1. Seating is close, so, you may be closer to people you don't know. It's not horrible just in arms proximity in most areas. #tightsqueeze I recommend Flights. It's a hidden gem to catch sports, vibe with others, eat some tasty bites, and drink beer (is that's your thing). I say, pull up neighbors.

Yelp
Found Flights when I was looking for food options on the way to SoFi Stadium. It's a small sports bar in a strip mall. Don't be fooled by the view from the street, it's a nice place inside. My wife and I shared a dozen wings and large basket of fries. Wings were hot and crispy, although the lemon pepper came on a bit strong. Next time they'll be dry wings with sauce on the side. Fries were fresh cut and also hot. Service was friendly and prompt. They even had a non-alcoholic beer option. We'll pop in again next time we're on our way to SoFi or Intuit Dome.

Sary M.

Yelp
Food is in a small commercial location and even tho it was the dodger ply offs I did not have a problem with finding parking. I was greeted at the door my friend had a table by the big projector that was playing the game. We were offered drinks and buffalo wings and they were amazing I hate every bit of them this place is perfect to catch a game I will definitely be going back for any fights or games

Tim G.

Yelp
Nice people. Good service. Very poor food. I ordered the Caesar salad. Poor dressing, obviously out of a bottle. And the bottle was very cheap. The cheapest, most tasteless cheese. Chicken that was horribly salty and overdone. I cannot recommend eating here.

Samuel T.

Yelp
Updated hours. Good for my laundry runs. A little pricey outside of happy hours (3p-7p weekdays)

ange v.

Yelp
Went to Flights to watch UFC and had a great time! It wasn't too crowded, and the servers were super friendly. They have an amazing selection of beer and drinks to choose from. The wings are an absolute 10/10--I would definitely come back just for those! Also, the inside is much bigger than it looks from the front, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy the game. Highly recommend!

Deborah R.

Yelp
DoNot order take out when you get home, it will be wrong and they won't fix the issue. just an apology this is the second time. their wings are great but service terrible

Tiffany B.

Yelp
Found you on Yelp!!! Was excited when I found y'all when searching as I was just gonna be in town for a couple hours. Upon entry it does seem a little weird and we just sat ourselves. After a couple minutes wondering if we should have waited to be seated, Evan came and gave us 4 menus, regular, beer, happy hour and pizza. He explained some stuff to us and offered his favorite beer recommendation. THE MUSIC WAS ON POINT! The vibe was good and people were enjoying themselves for sure. Ok so on to the food. Reading these reviews had me thinking gourmet bar food, as one person said it was astronomical! Well.... not so much. We did order off the happy hour menu and I'm hoping this A+ chef wasn't in the kitchen yet because The homemade potato chips were nasty. They tasted like old oil and smelled like wet dog. I know that sounds severe, but we didn't send them back and I did eat a couple hoping they would get better. The chicken sliders were again mid and the onion rings were likely fried in the same oil. $70 for 3 beers, 2 sliders and onion rings during happy hour is RIDICULOUS! Wishing best to Flights, cause some things were really good, just not the food or the jacked prices.

Ian M.

Yelp
This place is doppppeeeeeeee, I'd love to come here when its more people. The food was good. but the pricessssss? not so much. Why them wings costs so much man?? good service though

Chris G.

Yelp
I have nothing inherently bad to say about this spot. Atmosphere was inviting, service was good, beers were cold, and the food was solid. Our server Sonia P. was on point and apply assisted by an assortment of individuals. The chicken wing appetizer did not disappoint, and my friend also had a Caesar salad, which was huge, consisting of a lot of lettuce. Food was a solid 'B,' for a bar setting. We came to watch game #3 of the NBA finals, Jokić and Murray were sublime in beating Miami, 109-94. This location is close to LAX and has a fun 'flight' theme throughout, which is a pun between aviation flights and beer flights. You will find plenty of televisions, so sports fans will be happy. The main dining/viewing area is 'bar style' with high top tables and stools, no chairs. I had a good time; this location was exactly what we wanted and close to LAX, which is where my friend was staying overnight.

Penny W.

Yelp
Watched Dodger game service was really good! With the amount of people no delays or long wait at all! The food is so good and drinks Great

Patty F.

Yelp
We drop in on our way to Sofi Charger games. This is a great place with great drinks- a hidden gem!

Jeremy L.

Yelp
Great place to watch games! The room is like a long Harry Potter style hall but much smaller. TV's around the room. Great visibility to any TV since they're elevated. Food is decent. We had the sliders and burgers. Beers on tap is what it's about here. Great selection and great service. Can get crowded since they seem to play every popular game with the home game on the big TV. Get here early to get a good seat.

Enrique C.

Yelp
I've been trying to check this place for some time and finally got around to it. The burger I had was amazing! Service was great! I was surprised to see it was slow for a Sunday. I did think that $6 for a fountain drink was high but not a deal breaker.

Candi R.

Yelp
First timer! Totally loved the place it's a bit small but definitely a nice atmosphere! Walked in sat at the bar area... right away acknowledged and asked if I was ready to order a drink or food... The waitress name was Sarah and a few other ladies (didn't get names) were all very attentive seems like they help each other ... I ordered a cocktail and shrimp nachos and they were exquisite!!! ( I love nachos) the shrimp was spicy and the cheese was perfect alongside with fresh tortilla chips! They had all kind of games going on the TV's and it seems they have specials for taco Tuesday and Wednesday wings

Tim R.

Yelp
Great customer service! The food is incredible! I recommend the mango habanero Wingz and their drink selection is top notch. The overall vibes here are great. Employees and customers are very friendly. Will definitely come back for a UFC event!

Mitch C.

Yelp
Taco Tuesday. Comedy, great show free! Danny has new comics each Tuesday. Laid back, clean atmosphere. Beers change often.

Russ L.

Yelp
A small group of us came for for a Hump Day Happy Hour. Love the casual, laid back vibe. A perfect place to come and watch the games. Great selection of beer including craft beers. We also love the food selections. The wings are delicious. We also had the pepperoni pizza and the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was great. The Loaded Nachos with carnitas was great. The service was on point, attentive. Most definitely will be back.

Jessica G.

Yelp
I love this place because they play all the games and we can watch our 49ers... we have been coming for a year or more now and today we stopped in and they took our favorite short rib, quesadilla off the menu and I'm devastated. That's the only reason we liked coming here it's was so delicious. I hope they will bring it back or share the recipe with me.

Oni T.

Yelp
This spot was near our Airbnb and was open late. The atmosphere was part club part restaurant. The DJ was playing old school hip hop and rap. Once he left, it was Hispanic music. We sat ourselves. We were advised the food service would be ending soon. My husband and I split Short Rib Quesadilla and street tacos. The street tacos were the best! I would recommend these to anyone. They let you order half and half of 2 different kinds of tacos too. The guacamole was delish. Both platters come with nachos. The short rib quesadilla was an odd mix. It has blue cheese which overpowered the short ribs. My husband and I could have just ordered another plate of street tacos and left the quesadillas. My husband ordered a beer, but I did not partake in any of the full bar selections. Staff were attentive.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Came here after a football game at Sofi to watch the Padre/Dodgers game. Great food, service was really friendly, they were a little short staffed but more than made up for it. Really friendly atmosphere, it doesn't look like much from the outside but well worth a stop.

Jeffrey R.

Yelp
Great food and great beers. Very nice selection of quality brews! Lots of TVs so it is a great place to watch a game.

Jessica G.

Yelp
I was a comedian that bombed at this venue and boy was it the nicest place to bomb. The service was very good. Everyone looked me in the eye after bombing. Really nice. I Loved the ambiance of flying, it really highlighted how my act never quite took off.

Monica Y.

Yelp
Sooo following review the manager reached out about the service and the food but when I replied he ignored me so my review stays the same terrible service and food so tiny you can barely see.

Kelly K.

Yelp
We were in town for a flight out of LAX the next morning so went to Yelp to find a sports bar with food. This place had good reviews so we picked it. The food was not very good. The chicken in the wrap was soggy & the cheese on the pizza was terrible. The inside atmosphere is great & the service was great! Our tab for the food & 2 drinks (vodka with sprite, rum & coke & a screwdriver) was $90 which means 4 drinks was $50. Way over priced & won't be back for our next flight.

Jayla J.

Yelp
Went on a Thursday night soon before closing. We ordered wings, fries & 2 pineapple paradise drinks. The fries were really good, the wings were cool. We kind of expected a little more for what we paid but the quality was decent.

Don W.

Yelp
Be aware of fees being added without notice or explanation! It's not much but could've been more! Very disappointed Don't know of any other bar, brewery or restaurant in the South Bay adding this fee!

Karen K.

Yelp
A hidden gem! Recently went her for drinks and dinner. I was a little hesitant when we drove up but once inside I was pleasantly surprised. The team working there were very friendly and the cocktails were great! We got the P-51 Mustang BBQ sliders and the fries and it was amazing. This is not bar food but slow cooked short ribs that tasted home cooked. I will definitely be back and highly recommend you give them a try!

Nadia B.

Yelp
Walking in on a comedy show that was actually super entertaining. It was so entertaining that I forgot to take a picture of my hamburger. But it was good and cooked the way that I requested and like. Definitely hit this place up on Tuesdays at 9:15pm and catch the live comedy show line up. Tonight, I was pleasantly surprised and definitely plan on coming back to this place next time I am in town.

Keisha C.

Yelp
Micheal was our server, he easily great. The fact that they add a service charge, and utility fee is outrageous. Craft beers on tap were good. Fried food seemed to be cooked in oil.

Manuel S.

Yelp
Cool vibe. Came in to get some food and watch some college games. Decided to stick around and watch the Canelo fight.

Arnaldo R.

Yelp
Good mojitos and pizza! Great happy hour specials and a good selection of beers on tap.

Joe F.

Yelp
The food is fantastic. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was great. From the outside the bar looks like a small dive. Once inside the bar is clean well organized and chill. There are tv's in multiple locations so you can watch your favorite team while you're relaxing with your friends. I will recommend the restaurant to any sports enthusiasts!

Kandece B.

Yelp
Came in for happy hour and it looks like they increased their prices by $2-$3 . It is not worth it. The drinks are ok. The tacos on tuesday are ok and most of the food on their menu is average. If you are going to raise your prices then please raise the taste in your food and the strength in your drinks. Unfortunately, I need to stop visiting here because everything is priced WAYYY over its worth

Bryan D.

Yelp
Prices are through the roof and service has dropped to lowest levels since opening. They add 18% to parties of 4 or more and do not mentioned it. (You can find it in fine print on menu) Food quality is excellent and would be worth the prices if service was up to par.

Debbie S.

Yelp
I have always been a fan of Flights chefs and wait staff. I promised myself that I would share my experiences with you rather than keeping it to myself to avoid an influx of newcomers. The food here is phenomenal. The chefs take pride in their dishes. This is not "bar food", it goes far beyond that expectation. This is food that is from a trained chef who takes pride in his dishes. Yes the drinks and service is outstanding but the food is astronomical. Take an afternoon and visit. It's not your regular bar. Love it

LaurenMichel H.

Yelp
Cozy bar. Good drinks, and great service. We went when it wasn't super busy so I can't speak for game days but there are plenty of TVs to go around.

Justin S.

Yelp
Had a horrible experience at this establishment. We had a large group and made the mistake of choosing this place. We ended up leaving an hour after we got there due to price gouging and mediocre food. The ambiance was quaint and somewhat crowded (too much furniture in a small room). The staff were ok, nothing stood out in their service. The food was super mid at best. I will never patronize nor recommend this place to anyone. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! ‍

Delicia J.

Yelp
CUSTOMER SERVICE The bartenders here are very attentive, friendly, and consistent. Major kudos on the customer service. DRINKS I tried their Spicy Margarita which was a great twist on a popular drink. The tajin and a 'sweet paste' on the rim really elevated the taste when sipping from the glass. Slightly disappointed they don't have more top shelf liquors and a better stout selection, but they make up for it by their willingness to try mixing new drinks for you to try like a gummy bear cocktail(their take on a gummy bear shot) was super yummy and creative. FOOD/HIGHLY RECOMMEND MUST TRY their Aviator Wings and Three Cheese Quesadilla with chicken! Both are extremely delicious, and well seasoned. I liked the flavor on the wings, it has a medium level of spice so not too hot. The quesadilla had a unique, but good taste with all the different cheeses. Pizza was 'meh'. We got it to share and both only took one slice. The pizza looks lovely, but the taste was off. You can get the pizza with a thin crust or regular - we got regular and it was hard (overcooked) than hard(thin crust chewy). I will definitely go back and try it with a regular crust to see if there's a difference.   HOT TIP Sound from the games playing on one of the TV's gets precedence over background music.

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Great service an on a Thursday night would think it would be rockin pretty slow live dj in the building I would come again visiting for Cleveland Ohio come show some love here if looking for a chill spot to have a drink an food

Kristin S.

Yelp
Great drinks, menu looked good would be interest to try food but this was just a quick stop for a cocktail. Service was not good. Not friendly or welcoming.

Kelly M.

Yelp
This is a fun little place for happy hour if you are around LAX. It would be a great place to kill time waiting out traffic or getting ready to pick someone up from the airport. The best part were the great happy hour specials. They had a great beer and cocktail selection. The only concern I had was the service was not that great. We asked the waiter to please change the station off of some randomly strange cable station (and put on Sports) and were completely forgotten. The boneless wings WERE tasty, but they were extremely small. In the future, I think I would order a happy hour drink and a full order. We saw the people's orders next to us and it was night and day. I dont think boneless wings should look like 1/4 of a size of a regular boneless wing. Also, if you're at a sports bar; please humor us and don't have on Oxygen TV. Let's watch some hockey!

Erika T.

Yelp
The aviator wings and jumbo burger were delicious. Great drink menu. We are visiting LA from Tucson and was looking for a place to watch the UFC fight. Decided on this location. The place was clean and the staff were nice and attentive.

Mimi L.

Yelp
Mixed feelings about this popular sports bar in South Bay. We came in for NBA finals, even though we made reservations on open table, but it was actually open seating. No idea how we were able to make that reservation in the first place? This bar and restaurant is a small one room with cramped seatings, very claustrophobic. They had a lot of TVs so that was great for watching sports except the one TV facing us wasn't playing NBA game. We chose to sit at the corner in the back, their craft beer on draft was decent but they were out of a few brews. I had a taster which was fairly tasty, the Modelo Micheladas and mimosa were so yummy. For food we had BBQ wings, buffalo wings, 12 for each flavor, two orders of Carne Asada tacos, large guacamole, Carne Asada fries and loaded skins. Food was fairly delicious and the portions and prices were OK. The problem was it took a ridiculous amount of time to receive potato skins cause our waitress forgot about it. The service was SO slow cause they only had two servers / bartenders to serve a full house of dining people. I don't know if it's always this slow here or just that game evening. Overall I liked our experience OK, food and craft beers were just OK. Service was just too slow for us to come back here for sports watching again.

Erick L.

Yelp
Parking: Plenty of parking. If there is not parking near the business, you can find parking at the the gym parking lot that is nearby. Restaurant size: The restaurant is pretty big. From the outside it looks small but once you go inside you are surprise to see how large it is. We came with about 16 coworkers and we were able to find two bar tables to fit all of us. Food: The appetizers are good. We got the nachos with guacamole, the burgers, spicy chicken wings, the cheese sticks, other items and everything was really good. This is now one of my favorite bars to come watch my favorite sport events.

Erica B.

Yelp
Came to this place on a Friday night and it was pretty chill. We arrived around 9:20pm and while they close at midnight their kitchen closes around 9:30-9:45. Lucky for us our waitress told us in time to where we were able to order. We ordered a couple of appetizers and cocktails. We ordered traditional wings in flavors stealth and lemon pepper, mozzarella sticks and carne asada tacos and some margaritas. The drinks and food was great! The wings were crispy and although tiny to what I'm accustomed to, but tasty nonetheless. The mozzarella sticks were huge (you get 4 in an order), and the carne asada tacos with the chips and guacamole were seasoned to perfection. The cocktails were on point and the right amount of alcohol. If you don't like what's on the drink menu, they have a full bar and can make just about anything you want. We spent about $80 for everything. The vibe was cool, staff were pleasant and welcoming. I had a great experience and definitely coming back.

Tim T.

Yelp
Looks like a hole in the wall but when you get inside it's a different story . A hidden gem . Love this place . I will come here again and there is many beers to choose from and screens everywhere for sports . Will come here again.

Becky B.

Yelp
A completely unsuspecting place with amazing food and unique drinks (both beer and spirits). It's bigger on the inside. There are rows of high tables, lots of TVs, and lots of aerospace/flight stuff adorning the walls. They do currently open at 3pm every day. I think Google and one other place showed that they opened earlier on the weekends, but it wasn't true. We arrived around 2:30, so we were happy to wait. The Supersonic Sampler was everything that an oversized sampler plate should be. The mozzarella ''missiles' are huge. These are not sticks. So much ooey-gooey cheese. The blazing J-poppers are by no means small either. The pepper was about the length of my hand. They were a little fresher than I'm used to, but it did add a bit more crunch to it overall. The o-rings were good, a bit standard, but I'd get them as a side rather than the potato chips. Also, the wings. That Buffalo sauce was tangy and smooth and happy Buffalo heaven. I don't usually like bone-in wings, but these were good, and I was more than happy to commandeer them all for myself. The Quesadillas are stellar. All the fillings were hot and melty and perfectly balanced. The Three Cheese Porter Braised Short Rib Quesadilla (that's a mouthful to say and to eat) was superbly unique. The cheese blend of Gouda, mozzarella, and bleu cheese was smooth and creamy, but the bleu cheese wasn't overpowering enough to turn the nose. The meat inside was tender. This even reheated well! The Carnivore Quesadilla was impressive as well. Great balance between textures and flavors without being 'too much' per quesadilla slice. I really liked the Grilled seasoned achiote chicken sandwich. I could probably do without the coleslaw on it, but the chicken was well seasoned and cooked thoroughly. It actually made a good snack later on eaten cold (we weren't able to actually eat through everything). The pizza passed my test. The toppings were fresh, the crust was perfectly thin (aside from the oversized edges). The day that we went, there was a special of homemade lasagna. I don't know if they gave us a double portion, but it was absolutely huge! And delicious. And a real comfort food item. The tomato/marinara sauce was spectacular. It wasn't too sweet or too tangy. And there was so much cheese. In terms of drinks, we opted for the Irish Tea and a craft beer out of Burbank that was Irish Cream Stout. I can't wait to go back.

Mark M.

Yelp
Came here to watch the Super Bowl. We were one of the first ones there, so parking was real easy to find. We sat at the bar and got a lot of chances to speak with the bartender who was really cool. Got food and drinks and had a great time overall! We ordered the Burger & Falcon 9 Fries which had a large hand-formed ground beef patty on a brioche bun topped off with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, thousand island dressing, and pepper jack cheese. We also got chips and guacamole that tasted so well and fresh together. Wings with carrots, celery, and ranch dressing were all a very nice touch. Along with my mimosa, I got a very nice vibe about the place and knew that it would be a great spot to watch any game with a group of relatives or friends. It was practically full and everyone was still having an awesome time. The service was wonderful and I totally recommend this spot for any big game.
