Yelp
A completely unsuspecting place with amazing food and unique drinks (both beer and spirits). It's bigger on the inside. There are rows of high tables, lots of TVs, and lots of aerospace/flight stuff adorning the walls. They do currently open at 3pm every day. I think Google and one other place showed that they opened earlier on the weekends, but it wasn't true. We arrived around 2:30, so we were happy to wait. The Supersonic Sampler was everything that an oversized sampler plate should be. The mozzarella ''missiles' are huge. These are not sticks. So much ooey-gooey cheese. The blazing J-poppers are by no means small either. The pepper was about the length of my hand. They were a little fresher than I'm used to, but it did add a bit more crunch to it overall. The o-rings were good, a bit standard, but I'd get them as a side rather than the potato chips. Also, the wings. That Buffalo sauce was tangy and smooth and happy Buffalo heaven. I don't usually like bone-in wings, but these were good, and I was more than happy to commandeer them all for myself. The Quesadillas are stellar. All the fillings were hot and melty and perfectly balanced. The Three Cheese Porter Braised Short Rib Quesadilla (that's a mouthful to say and to eat) was superbly unique. The cheese blend of Gouda, mozzarella, and bleu cheese was smooth and creamy, but the bleu cheese wasn't overpowering enough to turn the nose. The meat inside was tender. This even reheated well! The Carnivore Quesadilla was impressive as well. Great balance between textures and flavors without being 'too much' per quesadilla slice. I really liked the Grilled seasoned achiote chicken sandwich. I could probably do without the coleslaw on it, but the chicken was well seasoned and cooked thoroughly. It actually made a good snack later on eaten cold (we weren't able to actually eat through everything). The pizza passed my test. The toppings were fresh, the crust was perfectly thin (aside from the oversized edges). The day that we went, there was a special of homemade lasagna. I don't know if they gave us a double portion, but it was absolutely huge! And delicious. And a real comfort food item. The tomato/marinara sauce was spectacular. It wasn't too sweet or too tangy. And there was so much cheese. In terms of drinks, we opted for the Irish Tea and a craft beer out of Burbank that was Irish Cream Stout. I can't wait to go back.
