Amazing food! Wow, I’ve never had kangaroo before, but it was so delicious and tender. We also ordered the chicken and lemongrass dumplings and the Korean pork bao buns as appetizers. For our mains, we had the shrimp and lobster linguine, the Wagyu burger, and a fish Milanese (I forgot which fish). Everything was incredibly delicious, and the service was very friendly. For dessert, we tried the lamingtons and the sticky date pudding. Both were amazing. Highly recommend!

We came here for the tater tots but apparently they changed the menu recently - so no more tater tots (even though it’s currently still on their website!). Heard there was a chef change. Atmosphere was fine, drinks were good, meat pie is now butter chicken instead of steak and mushroom. Most of the Google reviews still reference the old menu, which is what brought us here in the first place. Server kept trying to upsell us - when he first told us the specials, when we didn’t order an appetizer, and again when our drinks were still half full. Overall, it was fine but we won’t be coming back.

Flinders Lane on Summer St is as good as the rest of the restaurants. That is to say, none of this is fine dining, you're paying for the atmosphere. Wagyu burgers/wagyu steaks/hot chicken sandwich. Good food. The burgers were greasy, the steak tasted like beef, and the chicken sandwich was $22. My friend complained the fries were oversalted, but everyone's a critic. I'll ignore the other things I ordered. This place would make a great diner.

Service was 10/10! Eric was absolutely amazing and gave us a great download on the menu and the cocktails as first timers here. The food was delicious as were the drinks. Will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed the food. The pork buns were nice and juicy. I had the smash burger which tasted amazing as well. A very well done smash burger, one of the best ive had. The sticky date pudding was recommended by Ross and im glad i went with it. A nice sweet dessert without being too overpowering with the sweetness. Went here with my date and the environment was welcoming and enjoyable. The staff were very kind and super chill to talk to. Thank you Ross and the rest of the staff, from the front of house to the back.

We went for a late lunch / happy hour. The service was very good and the wait staff friendly. We shared some oysters, which tasted fresh, bacon mac and cheese balls, very good, and the chicken lemongrass dumplings, which were good. The bolognese sauce looked delicious. I had shrimp and lobster fettuccine. Everything was good. In fairness it's hard to wow me lately. Everything felt overpriced, but that's really just the state of affairs in 2025, so prices were in line with the local market for trendy restaurants in downtown Stamford. Other than the excellent service, the food and drink was not memorable, yet still good.

We were sitting in traffic on 95 and decided to just stop for dinner. We randomly choose Flinder’s Lane. The restaurant is super cute, perfect for date night or just stopping through. The service was awesome, super friendly and personable. Our server Sean (Shawn? Shane?), and he made us feel right at home. He had great recommendations and excellent tableside manner. Would highly recommend the pappardelle or the meat pie!

This place hits ALL the notes for me. And I kinda find it very calming to stop in & take my TIME in a local joint like this.... Great conversations I've had there as well Seriously - A MUST!!

I dropped by here after work to use a $10 gift card that was about to expire , I missed happy hour (it ends at 6, same time as my shift), but bartender John was so welcoming I decided to stick around anyway. I spotted the Korean Pork Bao Buns on the menu and had to try them. Being a spicy lover, I ordered the Spiced Pineapple Margarita, only to realize too late it was spiced with cinnamon, not spicy. It tasted more like fall than fire, so I gave their drinks another try with The Hornet, now that hit the spot, with a nice hot honey sting. The bao buns took forever (maybe the pig was still being slaughtered in the back?) but they were worth the wait: fluffy clouds of happiness stuffed with juicy pork belly, tangy sauce, and crisp carrot and cilantro for a fresh crunch. Sweet, savory, melt-in-your-mouth bites you definitely do not want to share -- trust me, order double and thank me later. Overall, John's awesome drinks and those melt-in-your-mouth bao buns will make me return, this time with company (they have to order their own buns) yum

I came here the other day for work and couldn't stop starring at the delicious food coming out while I was at the bar. So I came back with my family and tried a bunch of different appetizers we got the sausage rolls, the dumplings, the mac & cheese balls. All were very, very good. I got the pappardelle with grilled chicken, most of the table got burgers one got the chicken sandwich and another got pasta with shrimp. Every meal was so so delicious. I even got a nonalcoholic cocktail, which was also very good. I highly recommend this place for dates or family or going out with friends. The staff here they're super nice even the bartender Maggie is amazing.

Need to have a great get together with friends for lunch here for is exceptional and their drinks are created with love. Great gem to visit in CT

Checked out Flinders last night and loved it! The menu has a fun mix of fresh flavorful options, definitely not your typical american choices. Vibes were high, and think laid back and relaxed but also stylish and hips. Our service was great and drinks were delish. Definitely a cool spot for a a casual night out! Can't wait to try out more of the menu

Great choice for lunch! We went and had great service. The atmosphere is fun and unique. We had the Cubano sandwich and it was delicious!!!

Modern, lively atmosphere. Diverse menu with something for everyone. The burger was excellent. The Crispy Duck was great. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. The cocktail men was huge, lots of fun offerings.

Based on my experience at Flinders Lane, I'd say that if you're looking for a bar/pub experience then this would be a good choice, but as a restaurant I found that it fell short. Service I want to highlight that there were a lot of guests the night that I visited. A few people even waited at least 15 minutes for a seat. I'm not sure if they're unused to that volume but it seemed like they were understaffed. The person at the front responsible for seating was also a waiter. Typically, you don't see this and I understand why. It was hard to get his attention to place an order as he was caught between the customers in the section he was working with and greeting guests at the front. All the same, he was quick to bill and get the table ready for another guest. Food I was very disappointed with the food quality at Flinders Lane. It's possible that other items on the menu are more enjoyable. Bacon Mac and Cheese Balls - It was a generous serving - The outside was crunchy and warm - The mac and cheese itself was under-seasoned - There was no bacon - The dish left you searching for something to add to make it better Duck Dumplings - The texture of the dumpling skin was good - The sauce the dumplings were served in wasn't balanced in flavor. - You couldn't really tell that you were eating duck Grilled Kangaroo - The romesco sauce served with the grilled kangaroo was very good. - I've never had kangaroo before but based on this experience it's quite a tough meat. - Flavor-wise it was just ok. It tasted like steak. I see that Flinders has pretty high reviews here on Yelp, so I'm not sure if they were just having a bad night when I visited but, based on this experience I won't be returning.

Awesome place. Amazing experience. We tried a bunch of the samplers and they did not disappoint. The service was great and the atmosphere felt upscale hipster. Definitely must try the dumplings!

We took over the restaurant on a Friday in May for a rehearsal dinner for 80-90 people. From beginning to end, Everything was exceptional. The passed apps, the entrees, dessert and service. The team there was accommodating and cordial and GM Ross was hustling to make things happen. Accolades from everyone for food quality and service. Highly recommend.

We were driving to Maine when we decided to stop for lunch. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. You will not be disappointed

Amazing restaurant! I'm so glad I decided to try this restaurant out. I was skeptical but this turned out to be one of my favorite pasta dishes of all time. I had the lobster and shrimp pasta and it was AMAZING! Hands down one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Shrimp and lobster was cooked to perfection and the sauce was amazing! They also have great drinks here! I tried the Hazelnut Old Fashion and a regular old fashion! Definitely try this place out. I was very impressed!!

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Flinders Lane. Would honestly be a 4.5/5. Ash was a terrific and friendly server. Great cocktail and wine list. The food was yummy! Loved the shaved Brussels salad and the duck breast was excellent. Good happy hour deals too! Plus, it's a cozy and charming space. Now that we've moved to Stamford we'll be coming back a lot!

I love Flinders Lane and consider it my local in Stamford. The food is always outstanding and the service is fantastic. My recent private event for my 65th birthday for twenty was exceptional. Everyone in my party loved every minute of a superb evening. Thank you Chris, Ross, Brendan and all the team!

Really cute place in downtown Stamford with a more laid back vibe - which I prefer. It's super conveniently located by the Courtyard and Residence Inn. I always mean to stop in when I'm here for work and finally did. I got the chicken dumplings, fried, and they were really good & cooked perfectly. I had intended to get there during happy hour, order a couple then a main but I missed it by 5 min ‍so I just got the dumplings (comes with 6) and can't speak to anything else food wise. If you like plain 'ole draft beer, nothing fancy, then the beer selection won't be your jam but they at least had PBR so I wasn't empty handed. Bartender was friendly, service was quick and I'll definitely return again (maybe tomorrow) to try another dish.

So far, I've visited Flinders 3 times, and they're batting 3 for 3. Wait staff has been great, food's been hot and delicious, and it's never been so loud that we couldn't carry on a normal conversation. I expect you return frequently.

It was a good time. My friend and I came here for dinner. The salad and tuna tartar we got were amazing. I was surprised anyone could make salad this good. Our main courses were okay. The wagyu beef burger was very dry. The braised lamb cavatelli was not bad. Service was at the bar. The restaurant is nice and modern. Overall a solid restaurant in Stamford.

New executive chef is bring a melange of new items to the menu. The meat pies with the lamb and persimmon knock it out of the park! The new entree Squid ink linguini carbonara will definitely satisfy your palate. We actually came here for the very enjoyable cocktails but after looking at the new menu decided to stay and had quite delectable dining experience.

Served their beers in small water glasses and served water in pint beer glasses. That should be reversed.

Sub par with grossly overpriced food. I will never come back to this place. The sausage bites were cold and the Brussels sprouts salad came out with dressing.

I stopped in for lunch and was really happy with my meal. We ordered the lunch combo with the regular salad and the grilled chicken pesto sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The service was also very attentive which made the experience even better. I will definitely be returning!

I decided to check this place out after finishing up work in Stamford. I was looking for something unique and thought this place might fit the bill. I was enthusiastically greeted and asked where I wanted to sit-I chose the dining room. The dining area looks almost like a casual VIP lounge, cool, relaxed yet sophisticated. The host/server answered my draft beer questions and recommended the SixPoint which I was most pleased with, however, I did find the price a bit more than I would like for approx 8 oz. The meat pie of the month was chicken (it would be nice if the monthly choice was listed online or included in the menu specials) and came with fries and a side salad for $22. I am not a big FF fan and would have preferred something other than fries. I am sure that had I requested something else, they would have accommodated me; I did not ask. The salad with light dressing was the perfect accompaniment to the meat pie, and I loved the radishes in there! The pie shell was crunchy and flaky and the meat inside was tender, moist and extremely filling. They have a tasting menu of 3 courses available for $48 that I would maybe later try if in the area. Service was friendly and attentive. Super clean restrooms and outdoor dining area. On street parking.

Quickly becoming one of our favs. We tend to go before the movies as it's super convenient but now crave the food other times. Love whatever meat pies they have. Gnocchi so yummy, tuna tar perfection. Great dumplings. Not sure what's traditional Aussie food but I like the blend of flavors so far. My only complaint is the staff info on Open table is off. States happy hour daily 4-9:30. We came once at 7 only to find out that's incorrect. Also there is a place to join their tribe and her free items. I did, but none of the staff seemed to know what it is? Hoping there really is such a program and I'll def go back earlier for happy hour sometime.

This place is amazing!!! The food was fantastic. I love the selection that the menu has to offer. We had the butternut squash ravioli (10 out of 10) and chicken parm (unbelievable). The service made this a perfect experience. Eric G truly made us feel at home. Fight to get him as a server if you can! If you are in the Stamford area, this a relaxed and fun restaurant that is well worth it.

This spot really nice, great service, I don't have any complaints. The ambiance is really nice too the bar has a large selection and John the bartender made the restaurant a five star in my book. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to find a hidden gem.

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our 2nd anniversary at here and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Eric! He was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and had a great sense of humor that made the night even more special.

I've been here a few times and it's always great service, food and drinks. The staff is very attentive when I've gone with both small groups and groups of 10. It's an excellent experience!

The service of this place was great but the food was honestly terrible! We got some sort of tuna bite with crispy rice and it was like eating cat food it was so bland and the texture of the tuna was terrible. For dessert I got churros and they were three pieces that were each about 3" long which is a total rip off. They were overcooked and the chocolate was burnt. I will never go back here! The food needs a lot of improvement.

Came here once before. I always forget about it because it's tucked away under apartment buildings but its so quaint. The bar is small, maybe 6 stools when all open so don't always plan on sitting there. The first time we came we were deciding whether or not we wanted to move to Stamford from NJ. How better to decide than getting drunk?! Well we loved the food, loved the bartender and ended up moving here. The bartender seemed genuinely interested in us and we had a great conversation. The second time was much different with covid but we still enjoyed it. The bartender wasn't as chummy but it might have been the plexiglass wrapped around the bar, wasn't great for chit chat. We had the happy hour pot stickers which are $1 each on Sundays. Drinks were half off. The wings were amazing, great sauce. We definitely need to come back more often; I hate that i keep forgetting about this place.

Came here for dinner during Stamford restaurant week. The place was busy. Amazing service & food! Friendly atmosphere! Great food choices with some gluten free, soy free, and dairy free options. We had Crispy Brussels Sprouts and Our Famous Sausage Rolls for appetizers, Seared Atlantic Salmon and Seafood Linguine for entrees, and Longford's small Batch Sorbets for desserts. Restaurants in Stamford use guardrails to separate their outdoor patios. We would definitely come back again and would recommend you to check out this place if you are in Downtown Stamford.

Don't go here! 1) I ordered a glass of wine, when it was getting low they asked if I'd like another. I did, but instead of bringing over a small craft or second class with a new pour he "tops off" my class with wine to the Pour line. That's a first... I said I should be getting a little bit more than what you poured since there was some in the glass when you started pouring usually you bring a separate glass. I'm paying for 2 glasses but only got 1.5... and yes I was charge full price for this mistake. 2) I ordered the seafood linguine and the chef obviously doesn't care about the food that is being prepared. 5 of my muscle shells were unopened meaning they were in edible. To top it off there were pieces of shell in my dish causing me to almost break my teeth while chewing. The dish Itself had no flavor whatsoever. I did let the waiter know that some of the food was an edible and he told the chef. Neither the chef or the manager came to talk to me and yes I were charged full price for this dish. 3) Lastly, if they ask you if this is your first time to the restaurant say NO! Otherwise, they will come over with a shot of green awfulness called a "lovers shot" but tastes like piss and floor cleaner. I am a new resident to Stamford and fully regretting leaving Manhattan if this is what there is to offer.

Food extraordinary and varied. whatever i ordered was delicious. Service was warm and friendly and efficient. Would have no problem recommending it to everyone. From the tiny lights on the table to the friendly bar it was an excellent experience

Really enjoyed my meal and drinks here. Excellent cocktails and the happy hour is every day! Had the meat pie, it was great. Loved the fries. My husband had the chicken sandwich and loved it as well. Would definitely come back the next time I am in Stamford!

This is a straight up five star review. No two words about it. My wife and I went here two consecutive nights both because we dug it that much and to test consistency for this review. Night 1- just drinks + tuna tartar app and chicken wings. The pineapple cinnamon margarita was absolutely excellent and balanced and just straight up delicious. The knife work on the tuna tartar was impressive and very disciplined, small cubes all the same size whereas oftentimes I get tartar and it is just indiscriminately cut up into a mash. And it makes all the difference here. And the taro chips were excellent dippers. The chicken wings were nice. Night 2- us two + kids. Gnocchi with mushroom and peas, fried chicken sandwich, meat pie and truffle Mac. Each dish was absolutely excellent, brilliantly executed. Gnocchi were nicely toasted and very good presentation Truffle Mac decadent and creamy and perfect. Chicken sandwich, to which my son added bacon, was just perfect. The brioche bun was tasty, the chicken quality was awesome. Normally I don't dig Mayo but we thought it was very welcome here. The shoestring fries were stunning. My meat pie was awesome. I just made beef Wellington at home and this pastry crust was so much better than what we accomplished. Had the margarita again and it was delish. Finished with sticky date pudding and my only quibble is I wanted it hotter but it tasted great. I'm just trying to stay objective as everything just blew me away. I absolutely love this restaurant.
