Could not purchase tickets online maybe because it was late but seamless buying from the bar. Guy was super helpful and they do have military discount! All day Wednesday apparently $5.50 for everybody! This was date night with kiddos and there were five of us. We ordered through their ordering system and the server was nice and helpful. I like their ordering system and the tray set up with lights enough to see your food. We ordered drinks and spinach artichoke + potato bites. Comfy chairs. Clean restrooms. Not bad for an older location!

The food menu and seats have improved significantly! I used to occasionally go to this theater over the last few years and thought it was average. But after my visit last night, this is one of the best theaters in the city. Food was fresh and tasted great. The bacon ranch popcorn was delicious and I ate ever bit of it. The staff was kind and professional. Also, the seats and tables were very clean and comfortable. I appreciate the improvements to this theater and will be back a lot more often!

Such a wonderful movie theater! Comfortable seats, food and beverages including their own beer! And AC that runs neither too warm nor too cold. There are QR codes at each table (i.e., each seat) that you can scan to place food/drink orders, and there are also servers who will come to your table if you use the call button. Seamless experience to enjoy a movie on a good screen with good surround sound. Plus - you can get bottomless popcorn and get extra bowls to share it. Their IPA was great as was their raspberry beer.

So much fun seeing the Life of a Showgirl, with my girl and my bestie. We are Swifies for life. The pretzel was amazing and I enjoyed a cold coke. The customer service was perfect. Just enough, but not too much!!

I love this movie theatre so much! You can always count on service to be great. The food is so amazing and doesn’t take a very long time to come. They are fast with the refills and requests even if it’s busy. I saw the chainsaw man there and our server Sophie was very kind and patient when we took a long time to order. She was super fast while still taking her time to make sure everything was alright

Went to see ‘Shaun of the dead’ great movie all around. The service me and my wife got was fantastic, our server Anderson worked diligently and quickly, and was very respectful. He made sure to help us because my wife has food allergies, and he didn’t hesitate to help. The theatre was clean, seats comfy. Will definitely be coming again.

Tried out the discount Wednesday and so glad we did! Tried out the menu and it was great doing everything from your seat. Anderson was a champ, he explained how to use the order system and made some great recommendations. Great service and happy to leave a recommendation for you. Keep it up, you’ve got a great attitude

I waited for 15 mins to get my beer with no one in line at the bar and ended up missing part of my movie. After being in the theater for about 30 mins, my girl asks me if that’s a bug, and sure enough a roach was crawling on the serving tray. I let staff know and they didn’t seem to think this was anything bad, and by his reaction, not anything new. The movie is the only reason I’m giving 3 stars, but I highly recommend spending a little extra and enjoying a theater like IPic in the Domain. Highly disappointed in this experience, and won’t be back.

The experience was great, I had a server named Anderson and he was really fast to responding, I asked for a good review, which is completely reasonable, he was working until 12:00 am and was constantly coming back for customers as soon as possible! Great job Anderson and I hope you had a great day! And night afterward lol

Guess who's back? Updating again to say that after several disastrous post-COVID years, Flix seems to finally have things in order and we find ourselves once again enjoying our movies here. We've had no issues with service or food the last several times we've visited. They now provide the option to order from your phone or directly with the server. Ordering from your phone also allows you to indicate which seats you're paying for, which is convenient for parties that will have multiple checks. Remaining opportunities I'd love to see addressed: - nutrition and calorie information available on the menu - additional healthy options on the menu - menu prices are quite high, especially beverages (I know movie theaters are known for this, but I'm often shocked at the total after ordering)

We had a great experience watching Demon Slayer at 11 am. We had the whole theater to ourselves. Popcorn was fresh! I love that the popcorn was free refills and so are fountain drinks. Server was great. I didn't mind paying the 18% because they bring everything to you. Definitely coming back!

When it comes to comfort and vibe, Flix is my favorite place to go watch movies. There's ALWAYS a great lineup of current movies but I REALLY love that they routinely have special showings of other movies. And there seems to be a new group of theme of movies every month. Speaking of, they also adjust their menu with movie themed dishes (and their serving staff is awesome). Such a fun thing to have. And, it's a Brewhouse too and the selection of beers they have on hand is great! If you want to go see a movie by yourself or to take a date. You gotta heads here!

My family and I like to see movies on Christmas eve. So we did it again for 2024. I've been to the Flix Theater several times. This is a good theater with a cool bar area and a lot of beers on tap. I have a couple of issues though. The HVAC system was really loud in the theater that we were in. My food that I ordered was deep fried but came out at room temp and the men's room smelled terrible. The location is good, the beers are good and the staff is always kind. I hope my experience is better in the future.

A large group of us went to see How To Train Your Dragon the other night. There was an issue with the tickets but the manager, Kylie, was quick to take care of it. I greatly appreciate that! Food was tasty and seats were comfy, as always!

This location and especially the staff gave customers a wonderful experience for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour movie. They had a few gigantic posters up in the entrance of the lobby for people to take pictures and they had a friendship bracelet making station for people to use. They also gave out free bracelets as you entered the movie and when your server introduced themselves! We also got a free Eras Tour poster (7x10). The staff made an announcement before the movie began that everyone must sit in their seats, but can feel free to dance or sing along politely in their own space which I greatly appreciated. The sound quality and volume were great and the movie played without a hitch. The only downfall is their ordering system with the paper. It is the same as Alamo drafthouse, but this particular place did not have the staff to be able to see and handle when people ordered during the movie and there was a lot of waving to them going on that was distracting. More of a not enough staff issue rather than staff not doing their job. Still, it was very clean and the seats were comfortable. Will definitely seriously consider this location when looking to see another movie in theaters.

The whole experience was nice - booking tickets online, to walking directly to the cinema , to ordering food from the seat and enjoying the movie! Service was prompt, quick and not causing any disruption to the movie watching experience . Seats and the cinema hall were neat, but the hallway areas (tiled ones) were slippery. We have tried only the starters (chicken wings , sauce, onion rings were all amazing). Flix own beer was better compared to others . Coffee was just like any gas station coffee types. Tip: onion rings is not directly shown in the menu. Choose French fries in the appetizer list, opt for onion rings for additional $1. Worth it !

By far one of my favorite theaters in Austin. Since there new remodel I've enjoyed coming here a lot more. They have a variety of food to choose from if you want dinner and a snack while you watch your movie. Staff is friendly and bathrooms are clean! I will definitely keep coming back!

Born and raised in Austin, and this has been my go-to movie theater since it opened. Sure it's not perfect, but what movie theater is? We all know staffing is an issue these days, so take that with a grain of salt. Prices are fair, the food is decent, the theater is clean, and the seats are comfy. They recently upgraded their seats, the tables slide differently now. The wings are always a personal favorite. Popcorn is just fine as well. My biggest complaint is they no longer have pickles??? It's hard for me to watch a movie without a pickle. About to have me re-living my teenage years and sneaking some in.

Promised my wife to see the new Downton Abbey movie and I selected Flix Brewhouse so we could have a meal, too. Except a sign on the door saying kitchen was "down" and limited food available. Too late for refund, as no refunds given within the start of the movie. We ordered all there was, which was popcorn. I had a Diet Pepsi. The bill, including mandatory 18% tip and sales tax, was $20.14. For 1 soft drink and a bowl of popcorn! What a rip-off! I purchased the tickets hours earlier. Why wasn't a notice appended to the online site? The movie was good, but the experience was an expensive and insulting bust. Not happy.

Just like Alamo draft house And I really want to love this place but the service doesn't compare,.. especially when ur going to add 18% gratuity which is fine but to have the order wrong, food brought late and waiting till the lights come up from the credits (which we watch anyway sometimes) To get the bill isn't the best Also go salad and no utensils brought Popcorn is ok (cuz have a better butter) Cheese stake good Fried pickles - greasy Hamburger is the fav could have more 1000 dressing on it ** lights on table don't dim anymore then where it's at so if ur reclining It's in eyes view But appreciate it if u want to see ur food Seating is amazing !!!!!!!!!!! During the Demon Slayer Infinite Castle movie, kitchen was down. Tickets were purchased online, dinner time movie was ruined, if our child didn't want to watch the movie so much, I would have walked out. Half of the experience is the food and beverages, take away the food, well not partaking in beverages. Could have gone to a Theatre only without the sliding tables making it difficult to get in and out.

My husband and I made our first visit to this aptly named brewhouse and movie theater on a recent Wednesday. Upon entering around 5 pm, we bought reasonably priced reserved-seat tickets from a kiosk and made our way to the bar area, which is open to all (with or without movie tickets). Happy Hour didn't end until 6 pm, so we enjoyed wine and a wine- based margarita and a couple of appetizers. Flix has a wide variety of beer options, and quite a few are made in-house. During happy hours, some are only $3. Same price for house wine (the red my husband tried wasn't particularly good though). There are 5 or 6 appetizers specially priced at $6, and the portions are easily enough to share. We had the loaded fries and chips with hatch chile queso. Regular meals (there's a good variety of choices, including salads) generally run about $15. All may be purchased in the bar area or once inside the movie theater. The movie theaters (there are 9) are comfortable, with plenty of clean table space and excellent service. We took our food and drinks in and enjoyed them in the time before the movie was scheduled to start. Of course, there were previews so the movie started about 15 minutes after the ticket time. Our theater only had 4-5 people total in it, but this wasn't unexpected given it was a weeknight. Tickets may be purchased online in advance, so we may try that next time, especially if we go on a Friday night or weekend. We enjoyed the overall experience at Flix and will definitely return!

Nice spot to see some flix. The bar is huge with tons of beer options, and the bartenders are great with recommendations. If you don't feel like ordering at the bar, then you can order from one of the servers that come through to your seat. This place is always a great time

I love this flix! They have half price wednesdays and we always have a great time here. The last time we went to the Beyoncé show and as crowded as it was still had great service and food. Love that we have this option available to us up north.

This was my first time visiting flix brew house. My job rented a theatre so we could watch Dune 2! What I love about the seats here are that they are so accessible! There is a whole section for wheel chair users and there guests, as well as the seats in the rows are comfortable recliners with tray tables that move! Any body of any size would be able to fit and I love that because at some of the theatres the trays don't move and don't fit well for larger bodies. We also had a dedicated menu for the event. I had a chicken salad and burger with fries. The food was excellent especially the burger. I also had a pink lemonade and margarita. The drinks are huge. You can't tell from the picture but you really only need one drink. This place is so cool with there robot waiters, a cool bar in the lobby, and great service. The one issue I had is that the theatres don't have doors that makes it easy for the servers however you can hear all the outside noise during the quiet parts of the movie. Otherwise I had a great first visit and will definitely return

Cleanliness issue, food order not correct, quality of food horrible, and no rules about being on your phone while movie is playing.

This place is way over priced! I rolled in by myself Saturday afternoon to get out of the heat. $10 and change for one senior female on a matinee. There were not any food items less than $10 and up and only one healthy appetizer option which I ordered the hummus and veggie. I had two small beers. I got my check with a $4.50 gratuity already added. It was $40 for one matinee movie. That's expensive!

It's been a while since I've visited the theater and I must say it feels like they've made some enhancements, like the new tables & reclining chairs. Everything seemed really clean. Food was delivered quickly. Service, though short staffed, was quick, and I like being able to check out without having to wait for a tab.

I will say they have done some remodeling and it has been useful. They have also taken a deep dive into their menu and made necessary changes that actually give you beer brewery meets movie house. Many eateries claim to have that vibe and miss the mark. Flix is getting it right. My only issue is staffing. They have robotic food runners that bring the food from the kitchen to the studio and the servers bring it to your seat. They don't have many servers which is understandable why the restrooms are not being taken care of. Parking is not bad, I have always been able to find a spot no matter the time. I'll keep coming back as long as they stay on this good path.

Awesome theater! Amazing staff! Lovely milkshake! Haven't seen Brews Lee, Wall-T and Poppa at work, but met them in the hallway either charging or empty. Cool! As help but can't replace the real time connection with the staff. Took a star off for the seats. They are in need of new ones. Some are ripped or about to, it just doesn't sit well. Maybe some recliners or a little more comfort would do even better.

Went around 5 on a Thursday so not busy. Server was wonderful and attentive and the food was good! No complaints, and this is from someone who loathes going to the movies.

Visited here for first time since upgrades. Love the new reclining seats and swing tables. Super comfy and work well. Lots of room in between aisles as well unless you're in front row. We got there early and had a wine Rita in the bar. Surprisingly yummy! We ordered club, deuce breakfast sandwich with fries and tots. All food was good temp and very tasty. We have been here twice and surprised at how unfriendly and borderline rude the servers are considering the venue and price. Don't have to interact with them much due to using toast app so hasn't stopped us from going but is reason for 4 instead of five stars.

I would like to update my review because we have been coming to Flix Brewhouse more often and have enjoyed my experience. The staff are all very welcoming, friendly & helpful. We enjoy coming here with our 3 year old and the staff makes a point to talk to him and make him feel welcome and included. My absolute favorite beer here is Namaste- it can be too sweet for some, but I just love it! I pretty much get it every time I visit. The loaded fries are a must along with the fried pickles.

They automatically charge 18% gratuity w/o telling you. You place your own drink & food order on an app, then they bring it & charge you 18%. They didn't bring napkins & silverware which I requested on the app, my entree was supposed to include coleslaw, it never came. 3 tix, meals, sodas & an appetizer was $145 after tip. Never again!!

I had not been to this theater since the reno and I was so impressed with how nice it was. I loved the ambiance from the moment I walked in. It was convenient to purchase tickets and go straight to my seat where I could order whatever I wanted from there. The seats were comfortable but if I had one wish, it would be that the tables could fold away. All in all this is a very nice theater.

Went today to see a movie DP3 , and decided to order a pizza. Folks, THESE PEOPLE USE REAL MOZZARELLA CHEESE!!!!! Now you all maybe saying " every pizza place uses mozzarella cheese" NO THEY DON'T, when was the last time you had a pizza that the MOZZARELLA CHEESE actually stretches as you bite into it???? For me, since the 80s !!!!!! So I'll take this time to send my love out Flicks BrewHouse . Thank you all, you all made my experience all that and some.

Great place for a date night. You can go to the bar to have a drink or drink and eat during the movie. Really great place! The only thing I don't like is the tables being so high compared to the seats. It's hard to watch the movie.

All I have to say is that the renovations are amazing. I hadn't been to this theater in a while and it blew me away once I saw how the place had changed, everything was even better than I remembered. The service amazing ( as it's always been)and the fries and popcorn became one of my favorite things to order now. I will be making this my go to theater from now on. Can't wait to go back again this weekend

I love coming here. It's a nice treat to enjoy a good adult beverage and movie. Bonus: they now have recliners!!!!! I love their rotating selection of craft beers. Always something new to try.

The renewed Flix deserves a 5 star. Smells clean, seats are amazingly comfortable, and although I miss some sandwiches from the previous menu, this new menu still have some food to die for. Fries as always the best! Staff is always nice and very welcoming. I realized now that they are deducting the tips, and I think is fair given that some people don't like to tip and the servers wage depends on those tips, yes the company should pay them an hourly wage but that's something we can't change. Overall I'm satisfied and I would recommend anyone to go to Flix you will have a nice experience!

First timer here and I must say l enjoyed my experience. The place was very clean restrooms included. They have a nice size bar with all of your thirsty fixing, I'll include some in the pics! There is a button that lights up next to your seat that you press for service. Our waiter was very prompt and quick with our order. The food is a bit overpriced yet delicious. I will definitely be returning

Okay so we did movie night last night and although it's not much you can really rate outside of the actual movie (which was very good, go see Maverick), I'm giving only three stars because the seat was broken, and instead of making accommodations to fix the problem, everyone was so press on everyone staying in the seats they purchased. Like fix the dang gone issue at hand!!! We paid for a seat as well. Not a broken one. So, better customer relations when it comes to problem solving would be great. In the end, I wanted to see the movie, so I just sat in the broken chair and prayed it didn't collapse on me.

This has been my go to theater for 11 years. Their recent modification on tables struck me as a not very friendly for the mobility impaired. It took some coordination to get in and out of, and I had to hold the table up for someone in my party so they could get out. I can't even imagine bringing one of my older relatives to the movies with me with this current design.

We visited the bar area, did not see a movie. Our bill was $19 for 1 regular beer and 1 half pour. The beer was good but there are many good beers reasonably priced in the area. The prices here are crazy.

The upkeep at this location needs some improvement. I expected more from a dine in movie theater. The staff was all good and helpful. After ordering food and drinks, everything came out at a decent time. The food was ok nothing super great. The warm cookies were a joke. I definitely don't suggest ordering. They get hard super quick. My Margarita was a disaster. Whoever made it added so much strawberry syrup. I had to return it. Instead of ordering a mixed drink I just got a glass of wine.

I have been to Flix many times but this most recent visit was pretty rough. The seats need repair - there was rips and tears in the seat and armrest where we sat. The floors were also really sticky. Our server was extremely friendly and I let him know that it was my 5 year-old daughter's first trip to Flix and she was really excited about using the button, so she'd probably use it at least once during the film. Our server was very nice about it and said how excited he was that she was there and promised to come running when she used "the bat signal." I ordered Buffalo mac & cheese and one of the IPAs on tap, my daughter ordered a cheese pizza and a root beer. The IPA was excellent (I wish I could remember the name). The buffalo Mac and cheese was extremely dry and bland. My daughter's pizza was a disaster - as soon as she took a bite the entire cheese topping slid off. She ended up having to hold the toppings on while she ate, which made a huge mess. About 30-40 minutes into the film my daughter asked if she could push the button to order some candy. We needed drink refills too, so I told her to go ahead. She pushed the button and we waited. And waited. And waited. Our server did not appear until 10 minutes before the film ended, and it was to bring us our check. $48, with an 18% gratuity automatically added in. We knew that the 18% gratuity was coming (it mentions it on the menu), and we also knew that the only way to get it removed was to speak to the manager, but I didn't want to do that because I wasn't sure if it was the server's fault that he did not come take our order during the film. The reason it might not have been his fault is that all of the lights on our row were out. It could've easily been a malfunction of the system. All of the other rows seemed to have lights and functioning buttons, but we were in pitch blackness. This made it difficult to eat but we got the job done. We had been told to put our empty plates / cups on the bar and they would be picked up, but since no one ever came back out after the movie started these dishes just stayed in front of us until the movie was over. I have had nothing but positive experiences at Flix before this, so I'm not sure if they're under new management, understaffed, or what. The trip ended up costing us about $65, so I sort of expected better. My daughter's review: "The Minions are funny! The root beer was delicious! Can we come back again?" I told her next time we'd try Alamo Drafthouse.

My first impression was that there are more screens here that I realized! Felt like I was walking a while to get to theater nine. LOL Prior to 6pm, tickets are only $9.25 ($11.25-$12 after 6pm). They also have early bird tickets (prior to 2pm) for $7.25. The theater had comfortable, leather seats that have arm rests that can be raised/lowered. The seats don't recline. I like the table setup - it's out in front of you and you can slide your table straight back to you if you're eating or want your drink closer. Not sure if there's a happy hour or if it's because it was early on a Sunday, but my beer was half price (only $3) during a Sunday 3pm show. From a beer perspective, I'm generally leery of the beers from places that are breweries and something else. I figure, if you're a good brewery, that's what you stick with. Having said that, the 10 Day Scottish Ale was pretty good. Will definitely return and make Flix one of the theaters that I go to.

We arrived at 9:00 sharp for an 8:55 showing of Sinners on May 18. I get that we were a bit late, but I think it's pretty common to show up a couple minutes after showtime to miss the commercials. No one was at the front desk so my bf and I followed the signs directing patrons to purchase tickets at the bar. There were two employees one of which was doing tik tok dances in the drink pick up window and made eye contact with us and ignored us, while the bartenders back was too us. The young lady who saw us could have alerted her bartender of our presence, but she continued to just dance and ignore us. The bartender finally turned around and she in a lack luster fashion said she needed to "see if she can do a late sale" for the tickets. Then we are waiting even longer and an older gentleman presumably the manager arrives and doesn't address us, but tells the bartender "give em the spiel" and walked away. Lack luster bartender asked if we've been here before in a condescending tone, which we both said no, and she continued to say the movie started 10minutes ago. My bf mentioned there probably ads she doubled down saying and now we are 2 minutes into the movie. The truth was I had been there before, but was dumbfounded. I hope the upper management knows that the team is doing a good job not filling the seats of an already dying industry and gate keeping fans from being in those empty seats, because the team in place don't feel like being hospitable and doing their jobs. We would have been able to get into the movie if they had someone at the front desk to sell tickets like most theatres, or if the staff had any sense of urgency to help us.

Really cool place to catch a movie. Came a little early so I sat at the bar and had some great craft beers. The Nebulas Hazy IPA is a great choice. Had the chicken wings which were good, but not great. The service here is outstanding! Everyone was friendly and very helpful. When my movie started, I grabbed one last beer and headed to my seat. The theater attendants made sure I had everything I needed. The seats were comfortable and had a slide to you table in front for any food or beverage... Great place, will definitely come back!

Don't waste your money here. I went with some work friends to enjoy a movie and ordered the steak salad and water. $18+ and it was 99% lettuce, and they gave me every rib piece. I had the equivalent of a small sauce container of steak and maybe half that of avocado, and even though I ordered extra pico and no chipotle sauce, I didn't get extra. I have never felt so robbed. I will not be back.

Went and saw a movie on Sunday and we were fortunate to be in one of the theaters that had the new seats. Seats were comfortable but had they been heated it would've been the absolute best! The trays the food sat on are adjustable which was fantastic! The only negative was they missed my food order and I had to call the waiter to find out what happened. Everything was tasty tho. I had the chicken quesadillas which were delicious and the strawberry lemonade was soooooooo good!

They include 18% gratuity automatically in every check. Doesn't matter how bad the service is. If you want your servers to earn more, PAY THEM MORE! Don't force your costumers to make up for the things you lack. They also don't give correct change and round to the lower dollar, so they get you there as well. This is not an excellent run operation with no focus on great customer service. Me and my family will not be coming back.

I used to be a HUGE Flix fan and was a supporter from day one, when it was a small building with only a few theaters. I gave FIVE stars every where I could leave a review. That's why it's sad to write this negative review, but it needs to be done. We are very disappointed in our visit for Batman on a Tuesday night. Yes, it was busy, but there was a LOT wrong. Let's start with ticket selection. I planned ahead and bought tickets almost a week prior. Tons of options for seats. Picked two and when we showed up, one of the seats has the teeny tiny table in the aisle. This should be labeled when picking tickets! It used to be labeled so you know what you're in for, but no, it was not. This really annoyed me. I wanted to pig out and needed space to do so. I asked to change our seats, but they were all full except on the first row. Then the three seats next to us never filled up... just sat there empty, throughout the entire film, but we weren't allowed to move over. Next. the restroom: No toilet paper in a couple restroom stalls, one out two paper towel dispensers didn't work, then the other was empty, and one of the auto dryers didn't work. Just messy with water everywhere- obviously from people not being able to dry their hands. The service/food: Our appetizer took over 40 minutes and when my husband asked about it, they said they'd comp it off our ticket- which never happened. It then came out with the rest of our food... which was difficult for us since we had the seat with the teeny tiny table. Overall, if this was my first time here, I wouldn't be back. But it's like my hundredth time so it makes it even worse knowing how great it used to be. How far it has fallen. Is this the end of my family's Flix era? Guess it depends on if they respond to this review.
