The Flock food court in Portland is a unique and trendy dining destination, featuring a curated selection of vendors and a bar offering a variety of international cuisines. The setup is casual and modern, with lots of seating, an all-digital ordering system, and an industrial interior that adds to its appeal. It’s an ideal spot for groups or adventurous eaters looking to explore flavors from Korea, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Maine, and Mexico. The bar is a highlight, with plenty of brews and ciders on tap and well-made cocktails. The lemongrass gin and tonic stood out as a particular favorite. However, the prices are on the higher side for such an informal setting, with dishes averaging around $25. On our first visit, we sampled one or two items from each of the six vendors to create a custom tasting menu. The food was prepared quickly (under 20 minutes), and here’s our breakdown: HK Bistro: Chengdu Street Noodles – Served cold and authentically reflective of Hong Kong street food. Pan Roast: Shrimp, Crab, and Avocado Stack – A standout dish for us; light and flavorful, though heavy on the garlic. The tortilla chips could have used more salt. Queen Mama: Mezza Platter – Opinions were mixed at our table; some loved it, while others weren’t as enthusiastic. A heads-up: their popular Dubai chocolate bar was sold out by 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday, so plan accordingly. BBQ Chicken: Half and Half (Golden Original/Secret Sauce) – The Korean fried chicken was exceptionally hot (temperature) and crispy. The secret sauce was overly sweet for our taste, so we recommend sticking with the original. Overall, The Flock offers an eclectic mix of dishes in a vibrant setting. While the pricing may feel steep for a casual food court, the variety, convenience, and quality drinks make it a fun option for food lovers willing to splurge a bit.

Great food hall in downtown pdx. There was a private event here taking up part of hall... I'm not sure if it was mostly seating or what, but i was happy with the food spots that we available to us. We tried HK bistro (we got dumplings & jia jang myeong noodles), BBQ chicken (we got the secret sauce fried chicken & ddeok bokki) & birrieria la Plaza (we got the tacos plate). Everything was good!

June 2025 Atoyubu Popup Absolutely delicious. Fresh, well-seasoned & well-priced. 5 popular choices available, staff was fast and friendly. Inari was flavorful, overstuffed, garnished, and wrapped in cute packing. Ordered the Lemon Pepper Salmon, Garlic Butter Crab, and Spicy Tuna. All three were fantastic. Hope they pop back up again, thank you for the lovely lunch & tote bag! 💯🍣🥰

This food court has a great location, conveniently situated beneath the Ritz-Carlton. The variety of restaurants is impressive, offering a good selection of food options. Service was great, and the food itself was solid, my favorite was the new BBQ Chicken, though on the pricier side. It’s more of a grab-and-go spot, as seating is very limited and hard to find. Expect a crowded atmosphere, especially during peak hours.

FLOCK is exactly what downtown Portland needs! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing—vibrant, welcoming, and full of energy. The food was fantastic, and everything felt thoughtfully curated. The space is super clean (including the bathrooms, which is always a plus!), and the people were kind and friendly. While there aren’t a ton of places to sit, the overall vibe more than makes up for it. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite, soak in the atmosphere, and feel excited about the revitalization of downtown. So happy FLOCK is here! Can’t wait to come back.

I got the quesadilla plate and the flavor of them were very robust. The sauces pair with them add an additional flair to the whole meal and elevates it to another level. I will say the food was on the pricier side, but the food quality and venue make up for most of it. Overall a good experience and would go again to try the other food available.

Google
Over rated every meal averages $30.00 for mediocre food. My meal was 37.85 for a chicken wrap with fries, and a Dubai chocolate. The chocolate was cheap sugary not authentic. The bakery there was ok, the peach cake looked delicious but was tasteless not much peach and was frozen inside. Save your money.

We didn't have time to eat... so no food/service reviews yet. BUT we had to stop because it looked so fun, and it just opened, so wanted to check it out. Once it's summer, and they open the walls to the outside, finger's crossed the seating expands. At first glance there are several food/beverage options... wine/cocktails, a tap house (no gluten free beers...yet), Thai, Hong Kong cuisine, Mediterranean, tacos, bbq chicken, seafood. Glad it finally opened, we've been hearing about it. I looked forward to returning!

Yelp
Beautiful indoor food pod. Located on the ground floor of Ritz Carlton, this food pod has a total of 7 food vendors - BBQ Chicken - Korean style fried chicken chain Queen Mama's Kitchen - Saudi Arabian cuisine Pan Roast - signature "Pan Roast" seafood stew Zab Pinto - Thai cuisine Birrierira La Plaza - Mexican cuisine HK Bistro - Chinese cuisine Prime Tap Brewhouse - local alcoholic beverages Each food stall has their own touch screen tablet to order food from. We went on a weekday around 4:30pm. It was not as busy as other reviewers mentioned during lunch/dinner time. There were 2 kind ladies clearing the tables and taking the food trays away for us just as I was already wondering where to put them. I feel like this is a better option to go to when it is raining and really cold/breezy outside. Many other outdoor food pods will have covered areas/tents set up, some with/without space heaters so food could get cold pretty quick.

Yelp
Pan Roast Halibut Fish and Chips: 5/5 Huge fish with thin and crispy batter. Pan Roast Lobster Carbonara: 4/5 Not enough lobster in my carbonara. Overall, tastes good. bb.q Soy Garlic Chicken: 5/5 Crispy lightly battered chicken wings. Soy garlic sauce is very good!

Yelp
A cool, new food market in Downtown Portland. It's a bit cramped on a busy they but they do have lots of good stalls here. Seats are somewhat limited so be prepared to wait or takeout to a nearby park.

Yelp
New food court that has various seating, clean restrooms, and a variety of cuisines. There is bbq chicken (Korean), Queen mama's kitchen with food from Saudia Arabia, Pan roast, Zab thai, Birria, HK Bistro with dim sum, amd Tous Les Jours. Order from kiosks and get a text notification. When it isn't busy this can be a good system but could see it take more time. Also when the weather gets warmer it seems that there is outdoor seating snd the garage door windows will be able to open up as well. My friend got a Thai green tea with coconut milk and she enjoyed it! We haven't seen Thai green tea before! She also got an 8pc honey garlic from bbq chicken which took quite some time-granted it is made to order. Another friend got some har gow from HK bistro and it came in a steamer and the pieces were bigger than we thought for 4 in one order. Wouldn't mind coming backoa bit later

Yelp
Parking ain't easy down here, so it's best if you're coming down for something else. But I always feel like there's never anywhere to eat down here, so it's a great option. Basically a food hall--if you were to take food trucks and put them inside with tables. Great idea in Portland d! Like Pine Street Market, only with less seating. Probably 6-7 choices for food, great options and varied. I ate shrimp pan roast from pan roast, which was 5. The hubs had chicken shawarma from Queen Mama's, which was 3 and here's why--the flavor on the top of the dish was 5, but underneath that was a huge pile of unflavored rice for $22. Prime Tap House had lots of options for draft beers, ciders and cocktails. Great, friendly staff all around!

Yelp
Flock recently opened less than two weeks ago on the east side of the Ritz's first floor. The space is clean, fairly spacious, and offers a variety of options at reasonable prices. When we visited, a private event occupied half the space, but there was little notice about it, making the experience feel more hectic and less welcoming for customers not attending the event. Looking forward to when the weather warms up and they can open up more of the space.

Yelp
Such a fun space. High-end restaurants that were really delicious. Although it was advertised as food cart like, these are not food cart prices. They are restaurant prices and the food is delicious . See my separate reviews for each one. It's a bit loud and limited seating. Don't forget to go all the way down to Tous Les jour at the end for some amazing cake. I hope they put more kiosk in because each restaurant has one kiosk and it takes a while to order, especially if you don't know what you want to get. If the whole place is crowded, I could imagine quite a long wait. However, on a Monday lunch, it wasn't busy and we were able to get our food and eat wonderfully.

Yelp
Was expecting a bit more when visiting Flock... It has gotten a lot of attention as the newest Food Hall in PDX. There are a handful of restaurants to choose from (fried chicken, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Southern Seafood, etc.) They have a wine bar (front) and a tap room (back) no full alcohol options. The space itself is pretty compact. Thin narrow hall that tou have to walk through with limited seating options. If you go on a busy day - good luck on finding a spot to sit / dine. Also, if you're lucky enough to find parking in downtown Portland. I stood in line for HK Bistro and tried the street noodles. I did not expect them to be cold nor $16 for a small plate. In looking around at other options it all seemed to be a bit overpriced for self serve and a lack luster dining experience. I think there are better food halls in Portland and this fell short.

Yelp
Went to the new Flock Food Hall at the Ritz Carlton on Feb 1, 2025 and some of the vendors weren't ready yet, but it's great to have another food hall in downtown Portland. To get to Flock, there are entrances from the street (not the hotel) with several signs over the sidewalk. Most of the food stalls have screens you order from, but the screens that show the menu wasn't working at all the stalls so knowing what you are ordering was not always clear. Could be a problem, or at least requiring more time, if you have dietary restrictions. Notification of food being ready (via text message) for pick up worked at one place but not another. 6 food stalls in all, and a beer purveyor with a decent amount of tables that will likely be overwhelmed at peak times. Not nearly as expansive as, say, Pine Street. Overall, though, it's great to have another indoor food hall so I'm looking forward to going back and hopefully they've worked through some of the issues.

Yelp
Definitely want to go back once the buzz dies down a bit. Went opening week and it was packed! I love that all the vendors are ethnic and Prime Taphouse offered a nice variety of beverages. The lines were tad long and seating was nearly impossible, but after standing for about thirty minutes I was able to find a seat at the bar. My only criticism is the lighting. It's VERY bright. It makes the space feel sterile, like a hospital setting, and difficult on the eyes.

Yelp
Excellent new food hall downtown w/ some great choices. We tried: - bbq chicken: Korean fried chicken spot, pretty good - HK bistro: Chinese/dim sum, very good Want to come back to try Pan Roast & get me some lobster linguine. They also had a Thai spot & birria taco place and beer tap. It is all self service kiosk ordering. Bbq chicken had some issues w/ their text notifications which resulted in a large crowd of ppl waiting for their name clumped around them. Very busy, just opened up a few days ago

Yelp
This place is pretty new so I'm sure there's a lot of time to try all these great little food stalls inside this place and looking forward to visiting often when I can so I can stuff my face more. A little piece of everything from around the world in here so I've only tried two places so far and that is Hong Kong Kitchen and Pan Roast. Both are great and gotta spread out my palate and not overdo it. Highly recommend a lunch or dinner here.

Yelp
If you like feeling cramped in small spaces eating over priced food served lukewarm this is the spot for you. The layout of this place is horrible. I would not recommend. Most of these food places have restaurants just go there instead. I would recommend the heist or asylum food pods instead. We had B.B.Q, Birria Tacos and the HK duck. B.B.Q was the only thing worth the wait but at that point I'd rather visit their Beaverton location.

Wesley K.

Yelp
10/10 would recommend coming here! All the food we had was hot, fresh, and great flavor! Table bussing service, quick turnaround for food (15-20min). Great vibe overall!

Melissa R.

Yelp
Super cool space. Very hip. Only complaint are the EXTREMELY bright lights in the whole space!! Made it very uncomfortable. I hope that they will adjust these down for a better ambiance.

Jennifer O.

Yelp
Door was broken so it would stay open to the 30 degree weather outside every time someone opened it back up again since it wouldn't shut on its own. The Birrieria place looked open and didn't say it wasn't open yet there was no one working there or filling orders... the lights kept flickering on and off. I had a schwarma bowl from the Saudi Arabian cart which was very good but they were out of pita bread which I was told after I ordered so I didn't it. My Thai green tea from the Thai cart was very good. Overall the prices at every food pod were very high.

Yelp
Food and beers are expensive compared to what we have at the restaurant. It's self-service and they share space together. Food is ok. I don't know how they come up with that price. I mean if I have to pay that much, I'd rather go to restaurants where they have better service and better food.

Kim B.

Yelp
The grand opening was super fun. Food was great. I wish I could remember all of the names of the little restaurants. But I cannot wait to go back and explore more tasty options. Atmosphere is fun.
