"This is the second establishment of Emmanuel Renaut, well-known author of Flocons de Sel. These Flocons (flakes) Village are a picture of down-to-earth simplicity illustrated by spot-on contemporary cuisine and regional recipes: veal blanquette with poulette sauce, pike quenelles with shellfish sauce…" - Michelin Inspector

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Flocons Village in Megève. The food is at very high level here with a focus on locally sourced products. Highly recommended.

ate with my girlfriend, I had the beef tartar (it was average) and she had the beef steak. The steak was ordered medium but was unevenly cooked (from well done to medium rare) and burned badly on the edges. staff and location was nice though.

Nice French restaurant, good quality of food and wine, kid’s meal tasty, just my husband had a steak and he didn’t like it ( that why only four stars ).Staff very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

The food was good, but the service was by far not at the appropriate level. The dining area where we were seated was cramped up to a point that the staff was unable to serve. We had to pass on the dishes at the beginning and end of each service. The wine card was confusing and the staff knew little more to help.

Delicious food however service was slightly slow at dinner time. My starter was fish with the blini which was really nice. I had the plat de jour as my main which in my case was chicken, really yummy. The dessert options were again delicious, I had the creme brulee. The staff speak good English.

Overall nice but food was a bit disappointing, wayyyy too much salt in one dish. Not really edible. Maybe just a weird accident but I don't know if I would go again.

Tasty small local dishes. Good service and friendly ambiance. One of the rare spots that can be good for families and also for a romantic dinner.

Excellent food, smiling service, lovely outdoor seating, not greedy pricing like some of the places in this chic resort town. Don’t miss this hidden gem.

Yelp
My family tried two times to go to Flocons Village, one with a reservation and one with out. We were utterly disappointed and even embarrassed for the restaurant, for their hostess - Victoria - was a poor representation of what quality French service should be. I would highly recommend that they re-train this staff member, or perhaps choose some one else to manage the restaurant. When I asked her what her name was, my 8 year old twins even remarked at her snide huff and puff, before she told us it was Victoria. For Americans or Britains coming to Megeve to experience the wonderful culinary offering, I would highly recommend one of the many other restaurants in Megeve
