We are SO THANKFUL that Flora was one of the florist recommendations from our wedding planner. From the start, Tyler was so easy to work with and really helped me (/us😂) figure out what we envisioned for our wedding decorations and flowers. The entire process was stress free for us and we could tell we’d be able to trust Tyler to bring our vision to life. And she sure did. Our flowers, table decorations, candles, etc. were far more beautiful than I ever imagined they’d be. I chose to have my flowers preserved and I’m so thankful I did because they were truly one of the most beautiful parts of the day. Thank you so so much Tyler! 1000/10 recommend!

Marcela M.

Google
We knew we wanted Tyler with Flora as our vendor for our florist as she really emphasized and paid attention to our color scheme and the fact that it was a fall wedding in Asheville, NC. Flora nailed it!! I found an inspiration picture off of Flora's website and Tyler did an AMAZING JOB! Every single one of my guests, from parents, to bridal party etc.. were blown away by the beautiful flower arrangements done by Flora. I was obsessed with the floral arch for our ceremony, my bridal bouquet and all of the flowers! The fact also that they donate the flowers used in the end was a huge thing for me and I loved that. Would recommend Flora, priced fairly/upfront, professional, and FABULOUS! THANK YOU AGAIN! :)

Angela P.

Google
Tyler made us the most beautiful floral display for our wedding! I’m not much of a gardener and I don’t have the best natural instinct when it comes to floral arrangements, but Tyler helped me feel at ease and created a beautiful floral arrangement for my wedding. I got so many compliments on the flowers! Thank you for making our day so, so beautiful! ❤️

Elizabeth B.

Google
We used Flora for our wedding on 4.19.25 and they were incredible. We worked with Tyler and from the initial consultation and throughout the entire process - she was so helpful. She truly brought our vision to life. The flowers, greenery and candles were more gorgeous than I could have even imagined. I cannot recommend them enough for a wedding!

Google
We went with Flora for our small wedding in July 2025 and they did an OK job. My bouquet was beautiful, but my problem with them was the arbor. I had sent in an inspirational picture with white flowers on the sides of an arbor, but ended up getting colorful flowers on the ground at the base of the arbor. It just wasn’t my vision and wasn’t what I wanted. I think it might’ve just been a miscommunication because the woman I had been working with for a while left Flora a few weeks before our wedding. If you go with Flora, just be sure to double and triple check that they know what you want!

Google
This flower shop saved me after my florist canceled for an event last minute. They were so helpful and amazing with a last minute fix with absolutely beautifully done flowers and helped so much when I was panicking. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service and collaboration

Sam H.

Google
This space is just good for your soul. Tons of beautiful plant babies, and a delicious iced oat milk strawberry basil latte on a rainy day? You can’t beat the chill, but stimulating vibe of this shop. It was nice to get out of the rain and just enjoy the calm for a bit today, and the latte was truly perfectly made for the cherry on top!

Monica B.

Google
We used Flora for our wedding and couldn’t be happier! We had a very small, intimate wedding in my sister-in-law’s backyard, so we only needed an arbor spray, bouquet for me, and boutonniere for my husband. Flora truly delivered on our vision - everything looked absolutely beautiful!

Yelp
This was a cute store and offers the best of all my favorite things - coffee, books, and plants! I went in looking for a specific plant I've had on my wish list for a while and unfortunately, couldn't find it. They do offer a great selection of gifts as well as pots and little nick nacks. There was a florist table in the back where I think you can grab some bouquets. We were limited on time but I'd definitely go back!
google avatar

Chelsea R.

Yelp
This place is heaven on earth. They have a book store on one end, a coffee shop in the middle, and they have gifts and plants. They have house plants and can put together bouquets. They had a great selection and they grew the plants themselves in their green house. I left with a beautiful philodendron and they potted it for me for a small fee.

Sarah K.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this spot, but both times I've visited the service has felt a little off. The barista didn't seem very welcoming, which made ordering feel uncomfortable. It was also surprising that to-go coffees don't come with lids, which can be tricky if your hands are full. The card reader wasn't working and when I asked about it, I was just told "yes I know" before my card was entered manually, which felt a bit dismissive. Lastly, my lavender latte didn't have much lavender flavor and tasted more bitter than expected. I think with some improvements in service and attention to the drinks, this could be a much better experience.

Yelp
Flora & Forage is a cool shop - on one side it's a small coffee shop with a few pastries and some coffee items and on the other it's a full-on plant, floral, gift shop. I saw some very unique items inside - some jewelry is in the glass case in the back, they have some beautiful plants for sale, make floral arrangements, and sell plant-themed items as well as small gifts and cool trinkets like candles, soap, and other wares. I enjoyed wandering around the shelves filled to the top with green, healthy plants and looking at their terrariums. They have some cool seats surrounded by flowers near the windows too to sit and enjoy your coffee and work or hang out. Neat vibe inside and on a cool street with a bunch of other cool shops nearby.

Blythe L.

Yelp
If I could live in this store I would. 10/10 vibes all around. The plants were super healthy and thriving and the coffee side was cozy and inviting

M B.

Yelp
Okay coffee, but the woman who works here is very rude and unhelpful. Will not be returning or recommending it to anyone unfortunately.

Tara M.

Yelp
This place is beautifully designed! My husband and I made this place a destination on our vacay (staying in Sylva, NC), but from South Florida. The flowers they use for arrangements were incredible. . .I wish I could've taken a bouquet home! There are numerous plants to purchase, along with plenty of books and Knick knacks. I ordered a lavender rose latte, which was ok. I felt a place like this would have a beautiful presentation for their coffee. We also really, really wish they had food other than popcorn or pre-packaged snacks to enjoy. Otherwise, this place is gorgeous. It's such a cool hangout spot.

Yelp
LOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEDDD all the plants!!!!! Coffee was good. Tea was, too! Geeked at the plants and the owner was so sweet. Bookstore was unfortunately closed when we arrived, but one of the highlights of our trip, regardless.

Yelp
Wonderful! My son wanted to have flowers delivered for my birthday from out of state, and all of the stores that he tried were either closed or don't deliver Sundays. As luck would have it he happened upon Flora, and oh my god, this bouquet is stunning, as is the card that was attached to the bouquet with little rosebuds, with his words written in beautiful calligraphy! Such a lovely surprise at my front door this morning. Thank you!

Yelp
Flora is a cool little shop located on Haywood in West Asheville. There are so many awesome plants to choose from while sipping on some amazing coffees & teas brewed by an in-house coffee shop. The best of both worlds! There is so many cute gift items or great additions in here to add to your home. Plant hangers, pots, handmade goods, so much more! You must go visit this shop to appreciate the beauty.

Jenny D.

Yelp
Super adorable plant/coffee/tea/flower shop that is super relaxing and has DELICIOUS raspberry mojito iced tea. This drink was one of the best herbal teas I have ever had. Friendly staff and comfy places to sit. Also connected to a book store next door.

Yelp
Wow this is easily one of my favorite stores I have ever been to. Full of unique plants, daylight, and humidifiers, plus cute little vintage-y plant things, a whole section of handmade salves, candles, and even organic nail polish. I could do literally all of my gift shopping at this place and be totally content. While I didn't buy the entire store like I wanted to, I had a great experience and walked away with some treasured goodies. First stop was the coffee shop on the left side for a maple clove iced coffee-- pretty tasty. Service was absolutely top notch, the person working was incredibly kind and warm, just one of those folks you can tell immediately has a good soul. I ended up buying the beautiful pink Cattleyea orchid in my photos after I took the picture. She's currently resting on the plant shelf behind my kitchen sink. I also brought home a few cute and unique little ferns that I love, and a rosey-scented roller oil. The oil roller has some cute little crystals and flower petals inside and smells awesome. Definitely a little pricey at $28 but handmade items like that tend to be on the higher price end. Just a regular reminder that 'out of budget' doesn't mean 'overpriced'. Sometimes you just need to treat yourself. If you like plants and artisan handmade things, this store is a must-visit. :) Super excited to say that I just discovered a very similar store in my hometown the weekend after I came back from Asheville-- cant wait to check it out.

Yelp
Love this cute plant shop so much! They offer a wide variety of plants and super cute pots. Everything is fairly priced and the plants are in good shape. There's even a coffee bar with some pastries inside! I walked away with a small pot and a calathea. The staff is friendly as well. Highly recommend for any looking for new plants, pots, or just want to browse a cute shop :)

Yelp
A tiny coffee shop with just a few offerings connected to a few other businesses. The space is super cute. I just popped in for a vanilla latte and a cookie which totaled about $8. The vanilla latte is really smooth and not too sweet which is exactly how I prefer mine.

Yelp
My daughter and I used to meet at Flora weekly. It was a place we looked forward to, that seemed to be run with love by a few knowledgeable people. During the last year or so, we'd noticed some of the very young salespeople exhibiting a careless, almost rude attitude. It was no longer very enjoyable to be there and the plants were certainly cheaper elsewhere. My daughter works in retail and knows what it's like to deal with all kinds of people, including some difficult ones. Nonetheless she says it's not that hard to be friendly. She is however passionate about plants . Last week she made the mistake of going back to Flora. She purchased a plant which turned out to have Thrips, a leaf sucking insect that is difficult to get rid of. They infected her plant cabinet and entire house. That's the worst thing a plant seller can do- sell infected or diseased plants. Be warned!

Debbie H.

Yelp
I called to have something sent to a friend. The person who answered the phone was rude. They do not deliver. That should be a banner on their website. Their shop may be interesting, but if my experience with a staff member on the phone is any indication of their customer service, I would avoid them.
google avatar

Lo L.

Yelp
I love this store- it's beautiful and everything is very high quality. I've noticed that a couple of the employees are a little unfriendly (some are great though) but today I had an experience where an employee was quite rude that left a bad taste in my mouth. Still love the store

Yelp
A unique coffee shop that doubles as book store and and small garden center. Great popcorn made locally after you finish your drink !

Yelp
My daughter eloped in the Blue Ridge mountains outside of Asheville so I did some research and landed on Flora. I submitted an online request and received a return phone call the next day they were open. We talked about what she wanted in a bouquet: simple, bohemian, nothing too large with greenery. We picked up the bouquet the day before the ceremony and followed the instructions to keep it in water in a cool place. The bouquet was stunning and lasted all weekend! The ladies at Flora were so kind and helpful, which was just what I needed since my baby girl was about to get married. I'm forever grateful.

Yelp
This plant shop is beautifully decorated with a variety of plants and cute pots. I love that on the plant labels they share with the customers whether it is pet friendly, amount of sun, amount of water, and so on. I appreciate the labels a lot since I do have pets and want to make sure the plants are pet friendly. They also have local jewelry and goods. Great shop to get gifts or something for yourself! They also have a cute coffeeshop on the side where there are 2-3 tables inside surrounded by plants. They also have some tables outside where you can sit down and read. There beverages include dirty chai, latte, teas, among others and they also have alternative milk like oat milk. They also have cookies in their side display window near the counter. The wifi is slightly weak if you plan to work inside the coffeeshop. However, they have an extended coffeeshop outside in the back. Follow the signs and you will find it as you travel a narrow path or go around and walk through the parking lot in the back. Wi-Fi worked well outside! You can also buy plants while in the outside coffeeshop. Overall, I love this place and will definitely come back!

Jaclyn M.

Yelp
Such a cute shop! Delicious coffee too. Would definitely recommend if you are in Asheville.

Yelp
What a great little spot! I love the concept for Flora. They are a legit florist as well as a coffee shop/cafe. We stopped in after eating brunch in this area. The interior is so pretty and they have lots of great plants for sale. We ended up grabbing two as well as a nice pot. The staff there are also super friendly and will tell you how to care for your plants if you don't already know. I was glad to see the place so busy- lots of people trolling for plants. We ended up here a second time as well, for coffee. I ordered a soy latte and it was great. We didn't hang out in their lovely space because we were on our way somewhere else but this is definitely the type of spot where you could chill and read a book. Definitely a unique concept and a great place to check out!!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute place!! You can buy plants and coffee in the same spot, what's not to love? The decor is beautiful and the food was great. I ordered the lavender honey latte and it was one of the best I've had in Asheville. We also ordered a bunch of cookies and my kids thought they were all amazing. Just fyi they're not open on Tuesdays. I also noticed that they're adding on a used bookstore which should be a really fun addition!
google avatar

Yelp
Once again the small businesses in Asheville do their best to prove that this place is too expensive to live in. Most, if not all, think they have something extraordinary and valuable to offer to the public in their ideas, thinking, and execution while their final product proves to be mediocre and so not worth the value in dollars they place upon it. This is one of those places. I'll shop elsewhere and be all the more satisfied with the product I purchase in the future and let them live in their fantasy world.
google avatar

Yelp
I had seen photos of Flora before I visited Asheville and knew I had to go there. I cannot describe how wonderful this place is. I walked in feeling like I entered a coffee shop meant for fairies. Madisun was working there and she immediately made me feel at home. She was so kind and personal, and told me a lot about Asheville. This is a fantastic place to do work, hang out with friends, and of course find your favorite plants! Also, the bookstore is connected so I wandered in there and bought a few books! Fantastic place

Yelp
The cutest most beautifully arranged coffee shop I've seen in a long time. Gotta be honest, I was fresh outta brunch where I consumed some alcohol so maybe it was also that rush, but wow I was floored by flora!! Cute place, a billion plants, cute furniture, lovely staff, would recommend forever

Yelp
Flora is a florist, cafe and boutique right off Haywood Road in West Asheville. I had seen them at the Pop Up Cat Cafe for the Asheville Humane Society, where they provided super nomz coffee and scrumptious cookies for the guests - so wanted to check out their actual storefront. There is one hour free street parking - and there seems to usually be a few spots available in that section of town. The cafe area is larger than what I had expected after I had scoped out their IG- which was a pleasant surprise. They have a large selection of coffee drinks and teas; as well as lots of goodies to munch on; including bagels, scones, truffles, and other baked goods. They had a bar style seating area by the window and small tables outside; which seems great for people/puppers watching, but I really wanted to sit at the super cute little tables indoors so I could scope out the lovely goods for sale. I got a homemade Fig Cookie for a little afternoon snack and a Rose Honey Lavender Iced Tea, which was very reasonably priced (a little over $5 for everything- not including a tip). My tea was sweet - but in a herbal way - not a gross faux sugary way. It had a distinct lavender and rose taste; which was to die for - such a delight. The Fig Cookie was ah mazingly delicious. Again, sweet - but not in a nasty faux sugar way - it tasted like fresh figs and had a crunchy crust. Nothing like the Fig Newtons I grew up with (as much as I loved those too). It was topped with the perfect amount of sea salt, and came on a sweet/fancy little antique looking plate. They've got nearly a zillion plants for sale - including small potted plants where you can pick your own pot/plant combo, as well as a ton of single flowers by the stem so you can make a bouquet for yourself, mom, cat - whoever really. They also have a wide variety of kitchen goods for sale like adorbs hedgehog and whale salt and pepper shakers, fun zodiac sign candles and terrariums galore. The inside scoop is that they custom make terrariums to your specific needs. Yes; they'll even tailor you a one of a kind terrarium if you're a phantom that has set up shop in damp/dark the basement of a Victorian home where nothing *usually* survives except your ghastly, misunderstood soul. Flora is a great place for gifts, or to treat yourself. If you're going there to pick up a present, make sure to set aside some extra time spend at their delightful cafe!

Yelp
Exceptional customer service. I called the flower shop at 10:30 in the morning and needed a delivery to Mission Hospital before noon. Not only did they accomplish this, they created a beautiful arrangement. It wasn't your run of the mill arrangement. In addition, their driver sent me a text message to let me know when it was delivered. Outstanding service all the way around.

Yelp
DO NOT ORDER OR BUY FLOWERS FROM FLORA. Last year ordered an arrangement for my wife's birthday that came and were terrible. I figured it was a one off. This year for her birthday I ordered flowers for her birthday to be delivered and guess what? They were never delivered! This was after calling and speaking to Melissa today, the day of delivery, at 5pm where she assured me that my wife's birthday arrangement would be delivered today. It's 8:40pm the night of her birthday and flowers were not delivered. Apparently Flora has lost its luster and is not on top of their business. Don't depend on them for their quality of flowers and certainly if you are dependent upon them to fulfill an order for a loved one on a special occasion they will not deliver. I left a message stating how disappointed I was with their inability to deliver on my wifes birthday so now I have had a bad experience with FLORA on the quality of their product as well as their inability to make my wife's birthday special. Shame on them. Don't let this happen to you! Don't depend on them for anything!
google avatar

Tina V.

Yelp
I live out of town and ordered a bottle of wine & a small flower bouquet to be delivered to a local Asheville address as a surprise. The beautiful flower arrangement was delivered, but not the bottle of wine. I called FLORA to tell them that the flowers were beautiful but the wine was omitted and within the hour they had delivered a bottle of wine with a sweet bouquet. Thank you for the beautiful flowers and the excellent customer service

Yelp
I always seek out the plant shops when visiting new cities. This place was beautifully decorated. They had a wide variety of house plants, including both common and rare.
google avatar

Coco T.

Yelp
Flora. I have passed by Flora many times, and had never been in. A few days ago I went there to enjoy coffee with a few friends, and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere is very laid back, and calm. Although I was not looking for plants, it was nice to be around so much greenery. The decor is beautiful. The staff is friendly. This is a great place to go if you are looking for a cute gift for any occasion. Due to time constraints, I didn't get to browse the book section, but I can't wait to go back so I can do so. Happy Flora is in part of town.
google avatar

Caroline C.

Yelp
Wonderful little shop! A bookstore, coffee shop, & plant store all in the same space...what more could you want? Not only was the coffee fantastic, but the barista was extremely helpful. We picked up a few books while there & spent at least 20 minutes fawning over the incredible plant selection. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Philip T.

Yelp
Popped in here after a friend mentioned it being one of his favorite florists in Asheville. They have cool displays and plants and containers crammed into every nook and corner of the shop! The fresh flowers were prominently featured in the center of the space and looked fresh and gorgeous. I decided on a small succulent collection and the salesperson helped me find a great dark metal cake pan-style planter and then she potted the succulents with soil and moss and even gave me an instruction card to keep it healthy - my rep within the plant community must precede me :( The succulents are enjoying a western exposure in West Asheville (see pic)... and I know where I'll go for my next home plant addition. Thanks, Flora (and Logan)!

Yelp
This place reminds me of a cute coffee shop I used to go to on the daily. Very friendly staff with awesome local recommendations, Flora is a must if you are in the area. Unsure of what to order (they had an extensive list of housemate syrups), I ended up ordering a dirty chai latte and was glad I did. They use a local chai "AppalacaCHAI" that is full of spice and not overly sweet, a common issue for most remade chai. Yes, a little pricey. However, what is the difference between $3 for a coffee at a generic coffee shop and $4 for something of high quality.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
This place is adorable and I loved looking at all the local pottery and gifts. Picked up a few items for my home and for my mother in law. Such a soothing little store with a super friendly staff.
google avatar

Karen V.

Yelp
A perfect wedding was made even more special with the floral arrangements provided by Flora. Tyler made the planning and selection process a breeze with her creative input and realistic prices/flower choices. We never felt pressured to spend more than we intended to and Tyler came up with absolutely beautiful bouquets, boutonnieres, wrist corsages and floral decorations for the reception at The Venue. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Eliza L.

Yelp
This place is so cute and amazing, the only downfall is that it's quite expensive. But that's quite expected for places like these.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing customer service! I called this morning in a panic b/c I forgot to order a boutonniere for our daughter's formal. I needed it by noon. This was at 10:00am. Jess was nothing but accommodating and kind. She assured me I wasn't the only scatter brained Momma & she could absolutely get one by noon. Saved the day & it turned out beautiful!

Yelp
This store was one of my faves in Asheville. I wish we had something like this in the Detroit area! Beautiful, unique planters & vessels, plants, and decor; plus unique fresh flowers. I would love to see an event for which they prepared the flowers because I can only imagine how it beautiful would be. The aesthetic of the store was rustic-vintage and lovely. My favorite detail of the shop were the vintage botanical print pages adorning one of the walls. Also, they offer baked goods, coffee, & tea. The (chocolate and hazelnut) cookies were delish, and although my daughters were bummed they were out of popsicles, and I was disappointed they were out of their seasonal (ginger hibiscus iced) tea drink, we liked our Italian sodas and earl grey iced tea respectively. Would love to take some of their classes-- looked amazing.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Lovely plant shop with delicious coffee and attached to a book store. Although the aesthetics were pleasing their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
google avatar

Kate A.

Yelp
Love this place. The plants are beautiful. They also have fresh cut flowers. Lots of lovely little gifts and gardening stuff. Love the coffee shop and book store nextdoor as well. A bit pricey tho.

Anna F.

Yelp
I used to use Blossoms to send my mom flowers for Mother's Day every year, but since they moved to the other side of town their delivery fees are pretty high. I called Flora on recommendation from a friend (as I do not live in Asheville). The people I spoke with seemed very disorganized and dismissive, bordering on rude, when I was trying to place an order. 3 stars only because the arrangement itself was rather lovely, but hoping that a better competitor will open up by this time next year.
google avatar

Hiho S.

Yelp
This is my favorite coffee shop. It's so so pleasant, and a great place to get some work done. It's attached to a flower shop so there's lots of green, lots of good smells, lots of freshness. And of course the coffee is good. All the employees I've encountered there have been super kind, and the music playing there is enjoyable for me.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
came for the IG, stayed for the coffee. such a beautiful shop with a coffee shop inside. theres a cute hidden room that has couches for you to chill and do your work in too! love the bar stool setting with natural light near the front of the coffee shop. for sure definitely stop by as they have specialty lattes that look and taste amazing!! the people in here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. i witnessed one couple, of which the man spoke with the shop owner for about 30 minutes about his air plants and lackthereof of taking care of airplants. i would have gotten tired of him immediately but the lady was incredibly helpful and warm with helping him figure out what airplants to not kill next! great stop in asheville. wish we had more of these plant / coffee shops elsewhere!
google avatar

Aubrey W.

Yelp
This store is a dream come true. I was so in love with everything in there. Absolutely beautiful everything & the staff was knowledgeable & helpful.

Jackie L.

Yelp
I wish there was a no-star option. Logan, who answered the phone, told me they were too busy to take on even one more order today (that was according to designer, Lessa.) Unhelpful, unapologetic in their refusal, just, well, unkind. Melissa, dig up that red pencil box with your time capsule...maybe ad a line "hire only those who will be helpful and kind to all customers."

Ron G.

Yelp
Staff is rude and unhelpful and the prices are outrageous. The staff think they are better than everyone. You could literally walk in the store and be completely ignored. Don't expect to be greeted. If you want to shop at a local plant shop go to palm and pine!! They are super friendly with reasonable prices.

Yelp
What an adorable venue! I found a great Christmas present here for a close friend. Coffee is really good. Would come here again in a heartbeat.
