3 Places to Try in Seattle This Weekend | Eater Seattle

"I still find Madison Valley’s lovely Cafe Flora kicking butt decades on with high-end vegetarian cuisine — expect weekend lines but creative meat-free options like herb-and-cheese stuffed mushrooms, cauliflower za’atar pizza, king oyster and shiso papardelle, and brioche ricotta French toast — and don’t miss the equally appealing cocktails." - Megan Hill

Well we seen a Tiktok on Flora Cafe in Omaha. We was greeted at the door. There was a 30-40 minute wait. We waited it out. Let's just say it was o ly maybe 20. They were super busy. We got seated and made our order. OMG. WE WILL BE BACK! This place was super good and the flavors were unbelievable. It will be worth the drive to eat there and enjoy a nice cocktail.

Visiting Omaha, I was excited to check out this new place with a friend from town. Unfortunately, it did not quite meet our expectations. Pros: Friendly service Nice environment Tasty green salsa Chips were either made there or purchased from a quality brand Fajitas were good, not great Authentic tasting beans Cons: Corn tortillas were hard and cold Red salsa tasted a bit like canned tomatoes and was flavorless Margarita was below average Rice was basic and lacked flavor Our pico, sour cream and guacamole was served in plastic to go cups For the price and location, I really hoped the food would be a little more authentic and delicious. There are some kinks to work out and I hope they do. I wish them the best!!

This place recently opened, and my friends and I stopped by around 11 AM for brunch. I ordered the matcha, CHILAQUILES, pitaya bowl, BLANQUILLOS RANCHEROS, and cafe canela. The food was absolutely delicious, and the interior was beautifully designed — great vibes overall. However, we did have a serious issue with the service. One of my friends is allergic to sour cream, and she informed the server twice about her allergy. Despite this, the CHILAQUILES came out with sour cream on them. When we pointed it out, the server took the plate back, but instead of preparing a new one, they just scraped off the sour cream and added cheese to try and cover it up. We could still see the sour cream underneath, and if my friend had eaten it, it could have sent her to the hospital. When we brought this up again, the server finally brought out a fresh plate, which we appreciated — but the situation should never have happened in the first place. On top of that, my CHILAQUILES came with beef even though I specifically asked for it without. While we were there, we noticed several other tables also having issues with incorrect orders. I understand the staff might still be new, but this is exactly when customer service needs to be your top priority. I’m writing this review not to criticize harshly, but to bring your attention to what’s happening on the floor. Your food is amazing — but unless the service improves, it will be hard to build customer trust.

If you haven’t been to Flora’s Cafe yet, you’re seriously missing out. This cozy spot has a welcoming vibe and a menu full of fresh, flavorful options but the real star? The Pitaya Bowl. It’s beautifully made, vibrant, and packed with refreshing tropical flavor. Every bite tastes like sunshine. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something healthy, energizing, and absolutely delicious.

Love everything about this place. The food was fantastic! I ordered the cazuelita mexicana with birria as my choice of meat. It’s was super flavorful & I still had leftover's. Comes with tortillas in their custom tortilla holders. Also took an iced horchata abuelita chai latte to go. Highly recommend giving them a try. The service was great & it wasn’t too busy on a Monday afternoon. Also love the beautiful decor.

A great new cafe in downtown! It’s great to get have more Latin food options that are walkable in old market. We went during the weekday for lunch and there was a good crowd but we found a table and got our orders in fairly quick. The food was good! The presentation of the chilaquiles was very appetizing. The taco arriero was very delicious and filling. The housemade corn tortilla was great!

I had such a great experience Our waitress was absolutely amazing so kind, conversational, and attentive. The food was delicious, with generous portions that are very fairly priced for what you get. We also tried the horchata latte and a matcha, and both were just as good as the food flavorful, smooth, and so refreshing. It’s not often you find a spot that checks all the boxes: friendly service, tasty food, great drinks, and value for the price. Flora Café definitely does. Since I’m downtown often, I’ll for sure be back this place is a new go to!

Absolutely beautiful place in downtown Omaha! Chilaquiles verdes are to die for! The horchata matcha was my favorite! I’ve been in quite a few times and nothing has disappointed so far! 10/10!
