Flora House Denver

I’ve stayed at the Flora House 4-5 times over the past several years. It is my “Denver go to” bed and breakfast. The furnishings and decor are beautiful. The daily breakfast is healthy, convenient and delicious. The court yard is a beautiful oasis in a lovely Denver neighborhood close to the Cheesman Park and the Denver Botanical gardens. The hosts are a lovely, well traveled couple. Even in the heat of Denver summer we were able to take a morning dip in the hot tub. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved our 2-night stay as an extended family of 8 in two suits. The rooms were perfect. My husband and I with our adult son shared the Lilac Suite on the ground floor. He had the day bed in the little study - completely separate! My daughter’s family with 3 kids had the Iris Suite on the top floor. There was plenty of room for them all. We enjoyed the hot tub, eating breakfast out in the patio, playing games and starting a jigsaw puzzle. We enjoyed the living area for drinks and snacks (and games) our second evening, it felt like home. Jen was a great host and welcoming owner who told us all about the history of the house and what she had done. It was easy to walk or drive to get around. Two major parks within walking distance along with the Zoo, the Botanical Garden and museums. We all agreed that these were the best beds of our trip!

We stayed here for one night as we attended a concert at the Botanic Gardens and were able to walk to the venue. Not only is it a perfect location, it's a lovely place to stay. We stayed in the Stargazer room which was beautiful and extremely clean. There are so many amenities to use if you forget anything. The breakfast is delightful with a nice spread of fruits, cheeses, baked goods, and cured meats. We will definitely return for a staycation as we are locals!

I shared a few days here with friends for a weekend wedding. The house is exquisite and comfortable. Very well maintained. Garden is lovely place to relax and chat in the evenings or share continental breakfast. Dusty and Nicki are fantastic and warm hosts. I highly HIGHLY recommend Flora House.

We were looking for a peaceful 2 night getaway in Denver. And that's exactly what we got. We were able to walk to dinner. We also work to the botanical gardens. They prepared a lunch for us that was outstanding, packaged in a portable cooler on ice. Not only was there enough for lunch but for the evening wine, that Jen selected for us. Not only was the house, warm and peaceful, but the gardens, we're so relaxing. So much now we want to come back to Denver, just to stay. At the Flora House.

Flora is such a charming, warm bed & breakfast. You can tell a lot of love has gone into making the common areas, rooms and garden beautiful, welcoming spaces. I felt like I was living my Gilmore Girls fantasy (Colorado style). The complementary breakfast and coffee were delicious. We stayed in the Lilac room. The room was so cute and the mattress was super comfy. I definitely recommend going to the botanical gardens that is walking distance from Flora. Entry is free for hotel guests, which is a great perk. The staff and owner of Flora were all very kind and gave helpful tips for navigating the area. Oh, and guests get flower seeds as a parting gift. Too cute.

Flora House is a charming B&B in a great location in Denver. The suite of rooms for my family was absolutely perfect. Our suite featured a king sized bed, a couch, and a full sized bed in the main room in addition to a bonus room with a beautiful twin sized bed. The suite has so much natural light with many windows. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage space for all of our stuff. There was a cabinet with extra essentials in case we forgot anything. All members of my family agreed the beds were super comfortable and we all slept well. There is a hot tub that my parents took advantage of, and during the cooler months I can imagine it would be fantastic to spend time relaxing in. The location is fantastic, just a couple blocks to beautiful Cheesman Park and the Botanic Gardens. Just a few more blocks to City Park. I explored both parks on one of the mornings of our stay. We also went out the evening we arrived to get dinner and drinks and visited a couple of close by breweries. Jen (host) was super helpful in determining where to go that would be kid friendly. The morning we left, Jen recommended checking at the farmer's market, which is just a few blocks away. The kids and I wandered down and explored - a great activity! I can't recommend Flora House highly enough, and I definitely plan to stay here when we visit in the future.

The Flora House is an absolute gem. The Inn Keeper Ashley was extremely welcoming! The house itself is beautiful and the small personal touches were nice! The back patio area is a heavenly escape with a gorgeous garden, fire pit, and hot tub. It is a perfect place to relax. We had the pleasure of staying here over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was truly a wonderful experience! Our room was so comfortable, clean, and spacious, with plenty of great amenities. I especially loved the little special touches that made the room feel so homey. The house itself was beautiful, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and friendly. Breakfast was delicious--just the right amount! We'd definitely love to return and will be recommending this place to our family and friends

This is a lovely bed and breakfast in the heart of Denver. It was a special birthday surprise for me and it was just lovely. Beautiful, convenient, clean...would love to stay agsin.

The Flora House was above and beyond! Every single thing about our stay was amazing! We had the opportunity to stay in the stargazer room. Just from stepping into the front door, you feel all of the comfort and coziness. The Flora House team thought of it all. From self check in, cozy music in the entrance, beautiful plants and Christmas decorations, snacks, drinks, and so much more. They also have a private outdoor space for guests that also has a sizable hot tub! We got lucky and had it all to ourselves! After the hot tub, we returned back inside to finish our wine and enjoy some movies in our nice huge bed! After a great night of rest, and right before we headed out, we took advantage of their breakfast. They were sooo amazing and went above and beyond once again. They took down our dietary restrictions and accommodated perfectly! From start to finish, our stay at Flora House was beyond perfect! I highly, highly, recommend staying here for anyone and everyone! Whether you're visiting from out of town, or just enjoying a nice and cozy staycation in Denver, then look no further as Flora House will blow you away and more!

When I found myself on a last minute business trip to Denver in need of a comfortable place to rest and comfortably get some work done in between meetings, I stumbled upon the Flora House. I happen to be the first official guest and was blown away but the attention to detail. The owner, Jenn, and her InnKeeper are lovely, the home is restored to chic, modern antique glory and I could easily spend days discovering new details of the home. The beds are extremely comfortable, the water pressure is fabulous, the amenities are plenty and no details is spared. I will return. If you are looking for a little oasis in the heart of Denver, Flora House is the place to be. I'd like to return and rent the whole top floor with my family, and this would be the perfect place to rent for a wedding party stay, family reunion or company retreat. Best of luck and bravo on a restoration beautifully done, I look forward to returning.

What a gorgeous place to stay in Denver! My friend invited me to the opening event and it was a blast! What warm and welcoming staff! Every bedroom has been renovated and it's beautiful and comfortable! This would be a great spot for a wedding party to stay together. If you are looking for a great location and truly tasting Colorado culture, this is your place.

Outstanding service and very cozy rooms. The hostess was very fun to talk to, and the work that her and her husband have put into making this hotel feel like home is astounding. Very convenient to downtown Denver, 15-20 minute bicycle ride to restaurants and shopping. I definitely recommend staying here!

The amenities and staff were fabulous!! We came with our 16 month old and the staff was so sweet to him! We stayed in the Stargazer room and loved it! This B&B is a must if you're in Denver!

Wow! What a magical place to stay in the heart of Denver. This B&B has recently been renovated and is absolutely stunning. Every room has it's own unique decor with so many details that go above and beyond. They even supply robes for the hot tub and yoga mats! We stayed in the Zinnia room which was perfect for a romantic getaway in the city - prime location within walking distance to so many restaurants and local attractions. The outdoor area is equipped with all you need. Lovely garden, BBQ grills, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor games - couldn't have asked for a more inviting place!
