Flora House Denver

We loved our 2-night stay as an extended family of 8 in two suits. The rooms were perfect. My husband and I with our adult son shared the Lilac Suite on the ground floor. He had the day bed in the little study - completely separate! My daughter’s family with 3 kids had the Iris Suite on the top floor. There was plenty of room for them all. We enjoyed the hot tub, eating breakfast out in the patio, playing games and starting a jigsaw puzzle. We enjoyed the living area for drinks and snacks (and games) our second evening, it felt like home. Jen was a great host and welcoming owner who told us all about the history of the house and what she had done. It was easy to walk or drive to get around. Two major parks within walking distance along with the Zoo, the Botanical Garden and museums. We all agreed that these were the best beds of our trip!

We highly recommend Flora House B&B!. We rented the whole venue for the our daughter’s wedding weekend. We had guests ages 2 to 94 and all were very pleased with the accommodations. The interior design of the whole space was impeccable. The historic renovation of the interiors is very well done and faithful to the Victorian original details. Each room had a separate floral theme and the breakfast was beautifully displayed with fresh fruit, pastries and yogurt each morning. We had a rehearsal dinner one night in the fireplace lounge which we had catered per the recommendation of the owner, Jen. Spices Catering delivered a delicious Italian buffet and provided linens to make it extra special. Jen and her staff were extremely helpful in the planning process and had excellent wine selections and service for our dinner. Patio and gardens were the perfect hang for friends and family with fire pit and hot tub. It was the perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding weekend!

I arranged for all of our family to stay at Flora house for a wedding weekend. I kept getting texts from family as they checked in "this place is amazing!" I can't agree more. Every detail was taken care of from morning coffee/breakfast to evening s'mores snacks. Our grandchildren felt welcome and Jen made sure that we knew about all the toys and coloring activities she kindly offered. We hosted an evening reception in the garden. What a spectacular setting. The gardens are lush and there were festive lights that added to the atmosphere. I highly recommend Flora house!!!

We were looking for a peaceful 2 night getaway in Denver. And that's exactly what we got. We were able to walk to dinner. We also work to the botanical gardens. They prepared a lunch for us that was outstanding, packaged in a portable cooler on ice. Not only was there enough for lunch but for the evening wine, that Jen selected for us. Not only was the house, warm and peaceful, but the gardens, we're so relaxing. So much now we want to come back to Denver, just to stay. At the Flora House.

Flora House is the BEST place to stay while in Denver. Quiet area but close to everything— coffee, food, convenient store— this spot was only a short uber drive to downtown. But the unique quality of the full experience you get while staying here is the real beauty in this stay. Each room is unique with its own style, with the entire home embodying a historical design with a comfort-home feel. The owner was so so sweet, and everyone working there makes you feel like a friend. I will definitely be coming back.

No detail is too small for the owner Jen when staying at this lovely bed and breakfast. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed but also spacious. The breakfast was excellent with small touches that kicked things up to the next level. The decor is tasteful. The service discreet and there's a lovely garden with a hot tub. Home away from home! I would gladly stay again on my next trip.

Had an amazing experience at Flora House in Denver! Jen and her amazing team did a great job making all of us feel welcome and taken care of! Each room had its own personality and charm to it with lots of space and little touches in the kitchenettes. Breakfast each morning was delicious and so well prepared. If you are looking for place that is clean with personalized and detailed service from a super friendly staff that treats everyone like family this is your place to go!

We hosted a rehearsal dinner on the patio of the Flora House. The wedding party rented the entire house for a long weekend. Everything went as planned although the weather was much warmer than we had hoped for in June. We hosted dinner for 40 people with no problem and had a few guests come and go after dinner. There was plenty of shade to keep dinner guests comfortable. It was a lovely setting. Many guests could walk to the venue and some used uber because parking is tight in the city and on neighborhood streets. |We used their recommended caterer and we rented tables and chairs. We served wine and beer through the venue which was easy.

The Flora House is an absolute gem. The Inn Keeper Ashley was extremely welcoming! The house itself is beautiful and the small personal touches were nice! The back patio area is a heavenly escape with a gorgeous garden, fire pit, and hot tub. It is a perfect place to relax. We had the pleasure of staying here over the Thanksgiving holiday, and it was truly a wonderful experience! Our room was so comfortable, clean, and spacious, with plenty of great amenities. I especially loved the little special touches that made the room feel so homey. The house itself was beautiful, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and friendly. Breakfast was delicious--just the right amount! We'd definitely love to return and will be recommending this place to our family and friends

This is a lovely bed and breakfast in the heart of Denver. It was a special birthday surprise for me and it was just lovely. Beautiful, convenient, clean...would love to stay agsin.

The Flora House was above and beyond! Every single thing about our stay was amazing! We had the opportunity to stay in the stargazer room. Just from stepping into the front door, you feel all of the comfort and coziness. The Flora House team thought of it all. From self check in, cozy music in the entrance, beautiful plants and Christmas decorations, snacks, drinks, and so much more. They also have a private outdoor space for guests that also has a sizable hot tub! We got lucky and had it all to ourselves! After the hot tub, we returned back inside to finish our wine and enjoy some movies in our nice huge bed! After a great night of rest, and right before we headed out, we took advantage of their breakfast. They were sooo amazing and went above and beyond once again. They took down our dietary restrictions and accommodated perfectly! From start to finish, our stay at Flora House was beyond perfect! I highly, highly, recommend staying here for anyone and everyone! Whether you're visiting from out of town, or just enjoying a nice and cozy staycation in Denver, then look no further as Flora House will blow you away and more!

When I found myself on a last minute business trip to Denver in need of a comfortable place to rest and comfortably get some work done in between meetings, I stumbled upon the Flora House. I happen to be the first official guest and was blown away but the attention to detail. The owner, Jenn, and her InnKeeper are lovely, the home is restored to chic, modern antique glory and I could easily spend days discovering new details of the home. The beds are extremely comfortable, the water pressure is fabulous, the amenities are plenty and no details is spared. I will return. If you are looking for a little oasis in the heart of Denver, Flora House is the place to be. I'd like to return and rent the whole top floor with my family, and this would be the perfect place to rent for a wedding party stay, family reunion or company retreat. What a gorgeous place to stay in Denver! My friend invited me to the opening event and it was a blast! What warm and welcoming staff! Every bedroom has been renovated and it's beautiful and comfortable! This would be a great spot for a wedding party to stay together. If you are looking for a great location and truly tasting Colorado culture, this is your place.

Outstanding service and very cozy rooms. The hostess was very fun to talk to, and the work that her and her husband have put into making this hotel feel like home is astounding. Very convenient to downtown Denver, 15-20 minute bicycle ride to restaurants and shopping. I definitely recommend staying here!

The amenities and staff were fabulous!! We came with our 16 month old and the staff was so sweet to him! We stayed in the Stargazer room and loved it! This B&B is a must if you're in Denver!

Wow! What a magical place to stay in the heart of Denver. This B&B has recently been renovated and is absolutely stunning. Every room has it's own unique decor with so many details that go above and beyond. They even supply robes for the hot tub and yoga mats! We stayed in the Zinnia room which was perfect for a romantic getaway in the city - prime location within walking distance to so many restaurants and local attractions. The outdoor area is equipped with all you need. Lovely garden, BBQ grills, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor games - couldn't have asked for a more inviting place!
