Flora on Madison

I almost had given up on finding a gown for my daughter’s October wedding until I made my way to Flora on Madison. The personalized attention was wonderful; the selection was amazing; the alterations were perfect; and I received so many compliments on the gown.

Words cannot express how happy my experience was at Flora on Madison. Flora created the exact dress that I dreamed of for my son’s floral garden wedding. It was simple, elegant and designed to fit me perfectly. Flora and her entire staff are patient,kind,caring and a pleasure to work with! The hardest part was knowing the dress was finished to perfection and I did not need anymore visits to her Boutique. (Until my next affair) Thank you Flora, you are Fabulous!

I had a great experience at Flora. They had a beautiful selection of elegant dresses. They listened to what I wanted and found the perfect dress. Excellent service with kind and savvy salespeople. I worked primarily with Mayara. She listened carefully to what I wanted and curated a selection of dresses - all lovely. She helped me create a custom design. I have received so many compliments. iI was clear the dress was unique and made-to-order. It was a perfect fit. I highly recommend Flora on Madison for special occasion dress!

I reached out as requested and heard nothing back u hope others take note of your poor follow through. Wish your business was more responsible. Questions I still have are: did you speak with the seamstress? Are you following through better on appointments? I hope any be customers ask for answers. Original post: Why post a review? I was told it is to help others be aware of concerns and help them avoid the issues. So, here it is. My experience was almost painful. I ordered an evening gown for my daughter’s wedding. (Maybe they are better with wedding dresses.). The dress came in later than I expected. I traveled to get it fitted only to have the first fitting be worthless. My sales person from Flora was supposed to attend. Turned out she was too busy. I traveled for my second fitting. This time the person who was supposed to do the first fitting was available. And, the fitting went well. I returned a third time to a better fitting dress. Unfortunately, still not ready to be worn. My salesperson was still unavailable to attend any fitting, although she repeatedly said she would be there. Finally, on the 4th fitting I gave up and took the dress as it was. I had no time left to wait. It was big and the breast area looked like I had extra nipples. (Kept my arms folded while I wore it.) I paid over $400 for the alterations. I bought a dress at Nordstrom’s at about the same time and for the same price as this dress. One fitting at Nordstrom’s and it was perfect. Lesson learned.

Absolutely beautiful dresses. New and interesting designers that are not mainstream. Flora was a gem to work with. I bought a dress for my sons wedding and needed to add sleeves. Flora got me the extra material right away.

After 6 months of searching for a mob dress, my daughter found Flora on Madison and I was able to squeeze in an appointment on a Sunday afternoon. The selection of beautiful dresses was overwhelming, unique and just stunning! There were so many to choose from that I had to go back again to narrow it down. Flora and Mayara were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Flora is a gem! It was a joy shop there and hope I have another occasion in my future to go back!
