"Florattica, a rooftop bar in Aldgate with a William Morris print on steroids aesthetic, is the perfect spot for an ad man who likes nothing more than a so-so cocktail and a view of east London. Still, despite a couple of faux pas, Tom and Maria feel solid. They feel deserving of this chi-chi safari setting. There’s the expected charcuterie on the menu, although the absence of burrata is deafening, and Tom would have noted that cocktails all hover a bit under the £20 mark. He’ll be footing the bill. First time in Florattica, but not last. I loved it. You can leave your jacket at the entry. Staff are really friendly. Kelvin attended us really well, then we met Alex and Juan, they made us feel at home, they are so nice!

The venue is beautiful, with a lovely atmosphere, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. I had booked a table for two on a Thursday evening after a long day of sightseeing, and everything seemed fine at first. However, things took a turn when our drinks arrived. Both cocktails were a bit too strong, and when the waiter came to check on us, he began unnecessarily describing the ingredients, despite us not asking for any details. I assumed he was just trying to fill the quiet since there were more staff than customers, so we waited. But then, when he asked what we thought of the drink, he had the audacity to say "it wasn’t for everyone" before walking away. The service felt really unprofessional. I decided to order another glass of Merlot, thinking it would be a nice way to unwind in the garden. What truly disappointed us was when the bill came. They charged us for tap water, which was a bit of a shock. On top of that, we were charged for service, which gave us the feeling we were being overcharged for a lackluster experience. Honestly, there are better options in the area, like Garden 120, which we visited earlier that day and had a much more pleasant experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to others given the poor service and the feeling that we weren’t getting value for what we paid.

I loved this place, the experience was amazing, the people there were so friendly, kind and helpful. Never have we ever felt ignored, they were always there ready for us. It was truly the best experience we’ve ever had HIGHLY recommend. The views were amazing too but the people working there just made it even better. If we will come to London again, we will make sure to come by this place again. Thank you very much for you kindness.

The experience at Rooftop Florattica was disappointing. We were required to pre-pay for drinks just to confirm our reservation, which felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Once there, the views didn’t justify the hassle—they were nice, but not spectacular enough to warrant such policies. The cocktail menu was underwhelming, and the execution left much to be desired. I ordered a dirty martini, and it was served with olives containing pits, which isn’t standard and made the drink difficult to enjoy—I even nearly choked on one. Another concern was the ceiling decoration: they’ve hung a large number of dried flowers as part of the décor. While it may look interesting, it struck me as a potential fire hazard. It’s worrying, especially after the tragic restaurant fire in Madrid where a similar setup led to fatalities. For a venue aiming to be high-end, the quality, attention to detail, and safety considerations fell far short of expectations.

Dined here for our anniversary. Lovely staff. Alex served us good drinks and food. Service was quick. The lady in red had some amazing photography skills. Definitely recommend anyone who is celebrating or even heading there for drinks. Food menu could have been better but that’s just foodie in me.

This bar was recommended by a friend. Private entrance to a beautiful place. Juan was my bartender and he was so friendly and attentive. Between him and Izet the service was fantastic. They made a fantastic whiskey sour as well!

A very good place for a romantic dinner ! I absolutely loved the food and drinks we had. Excellent hospitality and service. Sharwil was really helpful and too kind to us. Such a lovely vibe.. And music.. The cozy jazz music played in the background was cherry on the top ! Weather was a bit unconvinced, haha, but that’s UK ! Anyway, looking forward to my next visit..

Exceptional service from Alex & Juan. It was my first visit to Florattica & I can't wait to return. The decor is so beautiful - the food, absolutely delicious. We had the cheese board and lobster sliders. It was so good. The drinks - well they need a post all to themselves. The most delicious cocktails I've ever had. Worth every penny. So beautiful and inventive and the taste said it all. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and I can't wait to return soon. And the views from the rooftop speak for themselves. What a wonderful experience at Florattica!
