It was okay my appointment was confirmed for 8am then changed for 830am the night before, no biggie until the other lady arrived looking like she was still in her pjs hair not done looking like she jumped out of bed and came straight to the shop, bad breath and all. I believe I was basically robbed financially, I wasn't told the price until my kid was already in the chair and they had started even though I asked repeatedly for the price she kept swerving the question, then was hit with $300+ price, which was way out of budget and nowhere near what i had been quoted originally ($175-$200) but since we were already there and school started in two days i chose to continue. I never said to them that I understand french, and i overheard their "jokes." i guess me not being black enough was a joke for them. They kept referring to me as "that white woman with the mixed kid." Kinda hurt my feelings, but I'm tough, and baby girl really wanted her hair done
I bought all my own hair. The lines for the braids are not straight. The middle part is way off center. They didn't brush out any knots they just ripped the hair apart. The curls on the braids just slide out. Smh, I WISH I WOULDVE READ THE REVIEWS FIRST.
I've paid way less for so much better. Next time I will shop around.
Sat I'm the chair for almost 9 hours and wasn't even offered a water even though one of the braider stopped to take a lunch and ate right infront of me.
