Florence Fang Community Farm

I am so grateful to discover the Florence Fang Community Farm and volunteered for the SF food bank there recently. I witnessed the living work by the volunteers in growing, maintaining l, and harvesting the vegetables. Flower garden is also being planted - and volunteers can enjoy some freshly harvested vegetables and definitely receive tons of free food after volunteering for SF food back! It is a beautiful and warm place with the farm staff and volunteers welcoming us and explaining how the farm works!! Try volunteering if you can!

Talking about a community that looks out for their own. This is a San Francisco hidden Gem! I live this place and the people running it are amazing.

The Florence Fang Asian Community a place with wonderful Volunteers full of Energy and cooperative Spirit. For example, today we had chicken curry soup prepared by one of our lovely member: an excellent Volunteer Member. Together, the volunteers provided a donation to her, due to the lost from a family member. In gratitude for the Volunteers actions, she was able to demonstrate the Power of her Good Intention by donating 1K USD to the Florence Fang Asian Community Garden in Memory from her relative. This kindly intention resemblance the human qualities from our Volunteers at the Florence Fang Asian Garden. Florence Fang Asian Community Garden members are part from a Special Circle of Life Volunteers. Unique!!!!!

Our community garden Volunteers, Family and Friends celebrated a great party honoring the New Year of the 🐕. This event is a testimonial for a hard work done for our core of Volunteers. Our Asian Community Garden is an example of cooperation and contribution at the Bay View area. Food, music and stories shared by our Volunteers and friends demostrated the importance of community work in our neighborhood. Year after year our celebrations are the essence of unity and Harmony provided at the Florence Fang Asian Garden. Great Job!!! Happy New Year of the 🐕!!!

Loving and welcoming community garden built by volunteers in the neighborhood. They distribute food from SF food bank to 160 families every Saturday from 7-9:30am, and often supplement with volunteer grown fresh Asian produce from the garden. Formerly an abandoned lot above the Caltrain, the Florence Fang Asian Community Garden is a community spot lovingly restored by local residents that welcomes everyone.

Great community farm to volunteer on Saturday mornings! Sign up on the website and clear, helpful instructions will be emailed to you about where and who to meet with. People are very nice. It's a great place to be especially on a sunny day. The weather in this area is generally good through the year. There's a chicken coop, bee farm, succulents, flowers, crops. Street parking.
