The 22 Best Cocktail Bars in Los Angeles

"Located upstairs from the constant party that is Lowboy, Bar Flores boasts views of the Echo Park neighborhood and Sunset Boulevard. It’s a great spot to take in the scenery while enjoying day-friendly cocktails such as the guava mojito and an Aviation with tropical flavors and rainbow sprinkles. The bar concept started as a pop-up series by beverage director Karla Flores-Mercado and now features a mostly female bar team." - Caroline Pardilla

So I ordered the encebollado and I can’t believe I paid $22 for this. The portion is ridiculously small and served in a tiny container that looks more like a snack than a meal. They used to give bigger plates, but now it feels like they’re cutting corners while charging more. Complete rip-off — definitely not worth it.

Charged me 21.60 for three tacos and a guava jarritos. The receipt wasn't itemized. I still tipped them to be polite but I wouldn't go there again just because of the price confusion. Food was delicious though a little on the milder side. They also have only one person working the bar as well as the dining and serving part. He was doing okay though he had to run around.

I'd rate a ZERO but that's not an option. Went there with 3 friends for Micheladas. All 4 of us ordered Micheladas. 3 of us got the regular 32 ounce Micheladas and the fourth got a smaller 24 ounce glass. They said they didn't have any more bug glasses. So we said, can you give him the other 8 ounces in a separate glass.... NO. Later on we asked, are you going to give him a discount since he didn't get his full drink...NO. Our jaws dropped. They didn't want to budge. What kind of customer service is that? The Micheladas weren't even good in the end!

After a week on the East Coast, these two Arizonan's were craving Mexican food. This place did not disappoint! We started with the chips, salsa, bean dip & guacamole. It was all very good. It came with a salsa & a smooth hot sauce. Both were very flavorful and we really enjoyed them. The guacamole was fresh and tasty and so was the bean dip. We got a few other items to share. I'll start with the chicken taquitos. They were delicious! They were fried to perfection and loaded with cheese. They went very well with the guacamole we had left and the hot sauce. We also got an empanada, it was filled with steak and cheese. My husband ate this and absolutely loved it! We finished with the carne asada burrito bowl. It came deconstructed & we mixed it all together for an amazing dish. Needless to say, we left there very full but extremely satisfied. We cannot say enough about this GREAT dining experience. The service was also very good and you could tell they take pride in their amazing food. Give them a try!

Overall I was happy with my meal. I placed the order online and found that process to be easy and the prices were very reasonable. I tried several items, they were all good, they would have been better if there was a little more seasoning. The service was great and I liked the restaurant and bar, it had a cozy feel.
