My son bought us tickets for The Witcher a couple of months ago. It was AMAZING! Aside from the production, the theatre was a treasure of interesting architecture - so many interesting things to see. The theatre staff was super friendly and helpful. The security was also friendly added the feeling of comfort. The bathrooms were immaculate and easy to find. Parking was also fairly priced and very close.

Just outstanding! A real, historic gem for Jacksonville. I never knew about this place until 3 weeks ago, and now I can't wait to go back. A real plus is how they do tickets to minimize resellers and avoiding ticketmaster. Bottom line - If you get a chance to see a show here, run. Run fast.

My husband and I love this theater. It’s so historic and iconic. Every seat in the house is good. We went to a jazz show and sat in the very last row in the sound was perfect and we could see everything clearly. In fact it was so cozy we would prefer it back there! Every show we’ve attended has had great production. Jacksonville gem!

I'm only giving this place 5 stars because that's all I'm able to give. Not only is it a beautiful venue, but the staff is great! We came from Alabama to watch a show and ended up having an obstructed view. The staff immediately jumped into action and got us new seats. It was a great show at a great venue in a great location.

Went here for the first time and was thoroughly impressed! Staffing was plenty and were very helpful with assisting customers at finding their Seats and other locations throughout the venue. Such a beautiful theater with plenty of restrooms for use. Everything flowed very smoothly when entering and exiting after the show due to staff.

We have been to the Florida Theatre numerous times and and all of them have been a pleasant experience! Great musical performances such the Jax Jazz Fest. Piano competition, Dave Koz and the Summer Horns twice, Warren Hill & Ray Parker Jr., and last evening, we saw the Dave Koz and Friends Christmas Show for the first time in December 2025! These events were all spectacular! The lighting and stage production dynamics and the sound were superb in all of the events through the year. The staff has always been pleasant, personable, and accommodating even women dealing with awkward situations given the necessity for security. The venue, given it's nostalgic retro style and modeŕn tools that support each event, in my opinion deserves and A+ for its presentation, charm, and practicality for use.

Great theatre. Staff were fabulous. Went to see George Michael tribute and had a blast. Great show, so much fun.

Pretty nifty place. Saw Molly Hatchet and it was ice cold, best AC of my life. A bit dilapidated on the outside though, needs some TLC but an otherwise great place to be! No bathroom review cause it was pretty packed after the show.
