How to Tackle Addiction Aquatic Development, Taipei’s Seafood Paradise | Eater

"An L-shaped shellfish-and-raw-seafood bar piled on ice, offering oysters, sashimi, sweet shrimp, steamed snow crab, combination platters, and sashimidon (seafood over rice); wine and sake are available to pair. The bar is a good choice for extremely fresh raw prawns and simple, high-quality shellfish plates." - Karissa Chen

We all met in Florida for new years and wanted some fresh seafood and found this place. Oh wow am I happy we found this place cause it was freaking amazing!!! The atmosphere, the staff, and the food was all 5 Starz!!!!!! Julie our waitress was the best waitress ever. She was so sweet and attentive. We never had to ask for anything. And the bus boys were so attentive too cleaning our table all the time. We went to the bar to get our happy hour drinks and Derek I think was his name was the best bartender!!! He took great care of us and it was great. Definitely recommend everyone coming here. I loved my crab legs!!!!

The food was incredible! The pasta was very good. Our server disappeared and it was hard to get ahold of her after (I think they were very busy). But I do not recommend the oysters rockefeller, as it was quite literally drowning in canned spinach and tasted like nothing else. Everything else was great!

First of all our server Chris was amazing 10/10!! We let him choose an appetizer for us and he chose the Dynamite Shrimp (they were amazing).. My wife got the Dynamite shrimp tacos as well and she loved them!! I got the Honey garlic bacon wrapped shrimp and they were amazing!!! They even give you some fritters when you sit down and they are so good! Also at the end with your check you get a little cup of lemon sorbet! 10 out of 10 would recommend!!! I will be back here!

Listen, ive been coming here long before I moved to brevard county. And let me tell you, its one of my favorite places and my regular Friday night dinner spot. The service is excellent and the people are very friendly. The prices are fair and The food available is a wide range of seafood dishes along with some grill fair and salads and various other fair for those who are not seafood fans so everyone will enjoy themselves. The shrimp dishes are my favorite along with the fish and chips. The tiki bar is a fun little spot to have a beer or cocktail and watch the game with some hushpuppies and a sampler to satisfy. All an all its a great family restaurant with great people, great food and definitely worth stopping in or making your regular spot like so many.

My wife and I recently went to Florida's Seafood Restaurant with some family. Everything was amazing. The food. The service. The atmosphere. We got the complimentary fritters first. Really tasty. We ordered more. The Rock Shrimp were great. I got mine Scampi style. The side of Fettuccine Alfredo was very good and a large serving. Great salad as well. The Oyster shooters were good with the Bloody Mary mix. We'll be back.

I went to Florida's Seafood Bar & Grill for lunch not expecting the portions to all be"shareable"! The food tasted excellent and so was the service! Everything was superb! Upon being seated you are greeted with hot fresh fritters. Next, I ordered the calamari, shrimp & scallop appetizer which is served with marinara & remoulade sauce. As my main meal, I order the stuffed cod lunch special. Lunch specials are served with your choice of salad, entree & side. The stuffing was made with crab & shrimp and served with hot drawn butter. Free refills on non-alcoholic beverages. As you will see, lunch portions were more than enough! My bill came to $35/$36 inclusive of tax. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Google
I absolutely love this place! Our group stumbled upon this place as we are at Port Canaveral for our cruise! The vibe was amazing. Service was excellent. They give you these free beignets at the beginning. You get a lot of of them! From my appetizer I chose a cup of clam chowder soup which was divine! If I had to critique I would say just a little bacon on top and it would’ve been a 10/10! For my entree, I ordered the dynamite shrimp tacos which are huge! You get three with the choice of side which I chose to the baked potato with sour cream and butter. Tacos- 10/10! I tried my friend’s alligator tail, Amazing! I really enjoyed this place. They do add a 18% gratuity charge to your bill for parties of 6 or over. So just be careful not to double tip if you weren’t planning to!

Google
Great seafood! Party of 7: We came without reservations and even though the parking lot and restaurant was packed, we were seated within a few minutes. Melissa was a great server and she suggested the dynamite shrimp…we loved it! I didn’t take pictures of all the food, just what I got which I shared and we both were full and even had some leftover shrimp to take home (I got the $42 combo deal: a whole crab, snow crab clusters, and large plate of scampied shrimp, plus 2 sides). From the free fried blueberry fritters to appetizers and main courses, we were all very pleased and satisfied. Definitely check this place out!

Yelp
After a long day at Kennedy Space Center, stopped here on a whim. It was wonderful, large portions, and excellent service.

Yelp
Went on a Thursday night and didn't expect it to be as busy as it was, but only had to wait 15 min. Tight parking lot so wouldn't recommend any big trucks or suvs. Waitress was so sweet, attentive and made great recommendations. Food came out fairly fast. Ordered their onion rings and shrimp sampler, both very tasty. Entrees we had their rock thrill blackened and snow crab, hard to mess up - both were delicious with some melted butter. Husband had prime rib and rock shrimp sautéed in butter. Loved it. The little doughnut balls ahead of time with powder sugar were good too. Only negative were both kids meals, pasta and cheese quesadillas, they didn't like. Not sure if it was the food or kids being kids. We didn't try either.

Yelp
Don't pull in front of of the building to park, it's a dead end and you'll be trapped by people making the same mistakes!! Once/if you get parked, you will journey back in time to decor that was tacky even in the 90's. If you like shrimp, there are lots of choices. I was hoping for blue crab that could be local and fresh, but it was the same frozen snow crab I can get in Missouri. I settled for crab cakes promising "hardly any filler". It's true, there is a lot of crab mixed in, but no lumps, whoever made them mixed the crap out of it! Pretty sure the inside wasn't cooked, just tasted odd. The cheesy grits with bacon are misnamed. Should be cheesy porridge with bacon sprinkle. They were awful!!! Best part of the meal was little the little powder sugar covered fritters they bring you before the meal. Although strange to bring you sweet stuff before the meal, they were good! Like donut holes, but crunchier! Remember to tip your server!! None of this is their fault. They are just trying to make a living!!

Yelp
Enjoyed dinner here on 4th of July seated at one of the "best seats in the house" near the aquarium. My date and I both ordered tropical margaritas in the souvenir tiki glasses. The drink was tasty & fruity, but I tasted zero alcohol (and felt zero later). For a $16 drink, I expected a bit more there. I ordered alligator bites to drink and he ordered fish and grits. Both were satisfactory. Nothing to write home about, but there were good. Four stars for the free fritters and sorbet. LOVED those! ALSO, there is a 3% card transaction fee. They prefer cash.

Yelp
This place was good. Went out with the family for a holiday meal. Service was very good and attentive. We started with calamari which came with a marinara sauce and was good. The sweet fritters were delicious. The Florida Seafood combo was so much food. I ordered it lightly blackened and came with so much food I ended up taking half the shrimp home. My husband enjoyed his shrimp tacos but wished the sauce had a little more zip to it. The scallops rosemarie was so good per my Aunt who was visiting from SC. My MIL enjoyed the Cod Sandwich and said the Cole Slaw was good as well. All in all a solid choice for dinner. Very nicely decorated - reminded me of Key West. Great vibe. We will return. There was plenty of parking on the back side of the building - FYI.

Yelp
This is our go to restaurant in. Cocoa Beach! Their servers are very friendly and efficient. The dynamite shrimp tacos & mussels are our favorites. The old Florida theme is welcoming with the boats, surf boards, fish tanks and gators remind you that you are in Florida!!

Yelp
Awesome food nice portions!! Service was amazing as we had a great waitress she made sure we all had our refills on our drinks and food on time. The bus boy made sure he came around and got dirty dishes off our table not once but twice! The ambiance was also very nice for being a seafood restaurant. Check this place out you won't be sorry if you like seafood !

Yelp
Two ladies working the front were welcoming and friendly. They even opened the door when we were leaving for us. when we called and made a reservation. Chelsea our server was so sweet too! she went through the whole menu w us since it was our first time. The vibe was perfect! Med light, family/local vibe and clean. She even put our to go food in a bag w the date and what was inside of it! The little details I loved. We had crab appetizer steak entree and salad. Steak was cooked perfectly and my fav was the crab! Def my fav spot on the island that I had on my trip :)

Yelp
To start off, I'm not very picky about my food and I don't usually rate restaurants. I'm very easy to please. That said, this place was very 'meh'. Visually, it looks like it's stuck in 1992, but that's par for the course in Cocoa Beach. My wife ordered shrimp tacos and she said they were excellent. My brother, however, ordered grilled chicken breast. The waiter brought out the entree but remarked that the chicken was over done. He brought

Yelp
Went with neighbor to check things out. He had a Scallop Volcano, I had a Florida Combo and wife had Linguine and White Clam Sauce. They get two demerits for being out of Dragon Point IPA (one of our favorites). Madonna our server was attentive and prompt. We enjoyed our meals, plenty of tasty clams, shrimp, scallops and rockfish to be had. We shall return.

Brian C.

Yelp
Hostess was friendly and we were sat right away. I love the way they decorated the place it was very cute! I had the Florida Seafood with scallops rock shrimp, regular shrimp and snow crab, baked potato and salad. The wife had fish tacos. Loved the dinner. Everything came out perfect. Service was excellent.

Yelp
I went with a large group. Between 35 and 40 people With the number of people in our group, the servers did an outstanding job. I ordered the lunch fried oysters, with steak fries. The lunch came with a side salad, which was tasty. The servers were knowledgeable about the origin of the oysters. Oysters were medium sized and cooked correctly. Food was good.

Yelp
Always a stop while staying in Cocoa. Consistently good food. So many ways to get seafood besides fried. Great service in a nautical setting.

Richard M.

Yelp
The fish and grits were like fish and soup and the fried oysters were half fried the service was terrible the balloon man had to bring us silverware the balloon man had to bring us butter and sour cream

Bobby S.

Yelp
We were in town pre-cruise and took locals recommendations! Great choice, our service was extremely good and the food was tremendous! The GM ( 11/29 ) was outstanding, she made sure EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! Thank you so much. If our boat sinks at least we had a perfect dining experience the night before!! lol THANK YOU to our server and the whole staff!

James M.

Yelp
My family and I have visited this restaurant on more than one occasion. And we have had a few good experiences but this last visit has assured we will never return. The food is usually pretty good although this time it left plenty to be desired as our food came out room temperature at best but the service was awful. Our waitress constantly kept reaching over our plates. Even after asking her to be mindful of it she continued to do so. The worst part of the experience was when it was time cash out. We had a few separate tickets and she brought them all out at once. Initially when I received my bill everything aligned correctly. I gave her my card and when she returned the bill was almost $50 more than what she originally gave me. When I questioned her of the discrepancy she said it was the surcharge for using a card. I told her theres no way you all are charging that much for using a card. Not to mention the receipts that she returned with didnt have the itemized charges on it. After requesting the itemized bill at least 3 times she finally went and printed it out. When pointing out that the bill that she charged my card for was completely different than the one she initially gave me. She tried to justify the difference 4 times and when I asked her to bring the original bill back she kept saying " O sh*t I f*cked up". We had children at our table that didnt need to be privy to that kind of language. Everyone in the party had issues with their check and instead of just taking the time to properly correct the situation she spent more time justifying her mistakes. It is absolutely absurd to give someone a bill and then go and charge the card for something completely different than the bill that was given and then continue to argue about them being wrong. Truly felt like because the gratuity was included in check she felt she could treat our table any way she seen fit. And then to correct the situation her solution was for us to just settle everything Via Zelle. When we approached management about the situation his response was " yea that happens sometimes" I have no problem paying for good food and service but this experience left a lot to be desired in both categories. I definitely will not be returning, nor refer this restaurant to anyone else.

Yelp
Just exceptional shrimp cocktail. Served on shaved ice.nice and firm like they should be.

Yelp
Props to this restaurant for its fun environment and very Florida forward decor! It really gives vacation vibes. Even as a Floridian, this place made me feel like I was on a beach holiday! The servers were friendly and very welcoming. We were game for a nice lunch after a long day in the water. As for the food? Pretty meh to be honest. I ordered a crab cake sandwich that was severely lacking in seasoning. I also willing to guess it arrives frozen and the restaurant is merely heating it, but can't say definitively. Either way, I expect a waterfront restaurant to serve up good seafood so a bit disappointed on that. But once I slathered on the tartar sauce, it was edible. I ordered some sweet potato fries on the side which were on the undercooked side. Zero crispiness whatsoever. Another bummer because it's pretty hard to mess up fries. My friend ordered the fried oyster po'boy and mirrored my sentiments on seasoning. Had to slather it up with sauce just to get some sense of flavor. But his onion rings were at least cooked right. Super crispy! I stole a couple and would definitely make that my go-to side next time. My other friend ordered a chicken platter and had zero complaints. I can't say I'm eager to return based on this one meal but the establishment itself was so charming that I might give it one more go next beach day. The menu was absolutely huge! Think diner style menu, so maybe some items are better than others. I will say that the portions were generous and the complimentary fritters were tasty! We all enjoyed those and the server was so kind as to package some up for us to take home.

Yelp
A mediocre seafood place but has a big menu. If you're into that fried seafood this has it but don't expect too much quality.

Yelp
Florida's Seafood Bar & Grill 480 W. Cocoa Beach Cswy., Cocoa Beach, FL 32921 3.5 Stars Oh, joy. I thought as I headed North towards Tourist Trap, USA known to locals as Cocoa Beach, FL. I get that most people don't come to this part of Florida for the dining experience offered; they are here for Space or Mouse-related things; however, people still have to eat, and they don't need to be taken for a ride in doing so. Hence, I keep heading up the coast to wade into the unknown clip joints of Tourist Land. This brings me to today's eatery of choice, Florida's Seafood Bar & Grill in Cocoa Beach, FL. I love Cocoa Beach. It's quaint and clean, with just a bit of fake thrown in to appease the ever-out-of-state visitors. My server for the meal was Alyssa. Alyssa was charming and spot-on throughout the whole of my dining experience. After asking a few questions about the preparation and source of ingredients, I ordered one of their Florida's Boil with a Caesar salad and some bacon cheese grits on the side because of bacon. Taking a few snapshots of the place, I sat back and awaited my feastage. The wait wasn't all that long, as I soon saw Alyssa heading our way with a steaming pile of grub. Click, click, click. A few more pics of the food, and it was time to dive in. I began appreciating what they serve here after trying a Titusville restaurant using institutional-grade ingredients. The seafood in the boil, being the cynosure of the menu was a slight disappointment. It was cooked properly and all in all, it was delightfully seasoned. It's just the mid-grade seafood was meh. The Caesar salad was prepared correctly, the bacon cheese grits were tasty and good. The corn fritters were fine, though there was nothing to write home about. For a tourist joint, this isn't all that bad. The execution was very good; obviously, someone cared about what slop was slung forth from yonder kitchen. The ingredients were mid-level at best and were certainly not winning any awards. Would I eat here again? Not given a choice, but I would in a pinch as compared to most Cocoa Beach food this is above average. The Big Boy says, "For slightly above-average food without going OTB, this is your place."

Dave L.

Yelp
Called ahead but it didn't really help? Not sure why they did it. Waiter was ok, not great but not bad either. great decor and we've been here numerous times. Started with hot crab dip and gator bites, both were very good. Love the fritters to start with. Everyone enjoyed their meals with the exception of the scampi. The shrimp were good but there was no garlic in the scampi just butter and seasoning on top. Sweet potato fries with melted cinnamon butter were delicious. Crab cakes some of the best we've had. Lobster cooked perfectly and delicious. Fried shrimp had light batter and were great. Definitely will go back it's our go to seafood restaurant for over 20 years when we visit cocoa beach!

Penny M.

Yelp
I'm honestly confused how this place has so many high reviews. My experience was anything but great. The food tasted like it had been frozen and reheated--nothing felt fresh. The wait to be seated and then served was unusually long, especially considering the disappointing quality of the food. The "fresh catch" fish was clearly frozen, the grits came out cold (and our waiter even admitted to microwaving them to reheat), and the broccoli was served brown and unappetizing. The mango salsa was bland and didn't bring anything to the dish. As for the fritters they bring out as a "starter," they were covered in powdered sugar and tasted more like a confused dessert than an actual appetizer. I really wanted to like this place based on the hype, but I walked away seriously underwhelmed and shocked at the price. Would not recommend, and I won't be back.

Yelp
Food was pretty decent with good sized portions . Service from Ava was awesome . Only reason this isn't 4/5 stars is because of a GIANT palmetto bug crawling over my foot while eating , safe to say I lost my appetite . Sure, Florida is full of them and I am a Florida native but seating right by the kitchen & then management telling me it's impossible to avoid the issue but admitted to getting pest control every week ..and zero compensation for the issue kind of threw me and my partner off . I'm not here for hand outs but dang management could've really done a better job at handling that situation.
google avatar

Kat S.

Yelp
The staff was friendly. I ordered what I thought was a seafood boil. it was not salted, crab legs in water and lots of spices that didn't add any flavor. A meal for 2 people was over $160, and we left hungry. could not eat the food. took home the crabs to see if I could flavor them. it was a fail. It's not the same place I remember. 6 bacon wrapped shrimp were $24 small hard shrimp not worth it. the waitress asked me if I liked the food, I was honest and said no, she said okay. lol we paid and left. knowing we will never return.

Lisa P.

Yelp
Great food! Their (free) hush puppies with powdered sugar were delicious! We both had shrimp and it was very good. Great for large groups. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Lots to pick from their menu. We will be back!

Raymond S.

Yelp
So glad we found this place! My husband and I had dinner here tonight. The staff was attentive and kind. The food came out quick and was absolutely delicious.

Valerie F.

Yelp
The food here is great! They did get my order wrong and the waitress blamed it on the chef. I didnt think that was very professional. This is a fun atmosphere place. We were there around 2pm, so they weren't busy at all.
google avatar

Elena D.

Yelp
Great food, quick service. Got there at 4 on a Friday and was sat immediately but once we were done eating the whole restaurant was full. Yummy lemon ice at the end of meal.

Tonya B.

Yelp
The Hampton Inn front desk recommended this place and said it was so good so we went...what a disappointment!!!! To start we ordered the lobster bites, they should be called bread bites. ‍ There was maybe a 1/4 teaspoon of lobster. no kidding! Then I ordered the mahi mahi blackened w picata sauce. No exaggeration...I was served cod not mahi, and not blackened, oh and it was a whole SIX bites! You read that correctly SIX bites of fish, w 5 asparagus for $34 dollars. It was such a joke. My friend ordered the scallops and well it should have been titled scallops on rocks, she nearly broke a tooth from the tiny rocks (not sand) in her scallops. And my other friend ordered the "boil", it was boring. I've had better boils in California. Sadly I would never recommend this restaurant and will certainly never go again. The only plus, our waitress was nice.

Tracy M.

Yelp
I shared the combo boil with my teenage dtr here on Easter. We had a very small Amount of overcooked scallops and fish, 2 potatoes, 1 piece of corn, fishy mussels, and the finest tiniest amount of crab all sitting in a bowl of hot soup/broth. The fries were a side and were forgotten. The food did come out hot, the service was fast, and the waitress did take off $3 for the missing fries. I would not visit again. It was poor quality.

Yelp
The ambiance was super cozy and the server was very friendly. The food is delicious and I was served very prompt. Recommended

Yelp
Great food and service! Ended up sitting at the bar because the restaurant was super busy. Surprisingly it was not loud despite being crowded. Excellent food but weird that my crab legs were on a plate stacked on top of my prime rib. Ate it anyway but don't want to think about the plate touching the counter then stacked on my food. The drinks were delish. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Darla E.

Yelp
I went with a large group at the recommendation of some hotel staff. Our group was about 10 folks so quite a large group. The restaurant seating is well equipped to handle large parties though, and everyone's order came out on time. I ordered the fried lobster appetizer because why not? The sauces were tasty but the fried lobster didn't have any seasoning in the breading. So without sauces it was quite underwhelming on taste but well fried. My shrimp tacos were tasty! I could eat those any day of the week. Filling, good flavor and most importantly, they cooked the broccoli just right. It has substance and wasn't mushy (I HATE) mushy steamed vegetables so this side dish hit the spot! The wait staff was friendly and attentive so even though some in my party didn't enjoy their entrees- skip the shrimp and grits if you have southern roots- we ultimately had no major complaints.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
Food quality was barely average, but service was great. Prices were too high for the quality of food presented.
google avatar

Marcus B.

Yelp
Wait time was reasonable, service was good. Food was just ok. For appetizers, we ordered the lobster bites, alligator, and raw oysters. Oysters were fresh, alligator was good. Lobster bites were ok. For my entree, I ordered the Florida sampler which had rock shrimp, medium shrimp, scallops, and snow crab. I got the shrimp and scallops blackened and they were over cooked and lacked seasoning. The meal only came with 3 scallops which seemed small to me. The real turn off was honestly a lack of condiments. None of our food came with the traditional condiments. My wife's fried shrimp, no cocktail sauce. Crab legs, no butter. My daughter's baked potato didn't even come with butter and sour cream. We had to ask our server for all of these items. Seems silly I know, but it detracted from our experience.
google avatar

Lu K.

Yelp
Typical beach seafood restaurant. There's a lot to choose from my party kind of had a little bit of everything. Food was decent. Service could be a little better as soon as if our server had got cut when we got there. It spent a lot of time asking random people for condiments multiple times. Definitely a good place to go if you have a very large party there's tons of space. And strong drinks

Yelp
We were seated immediately. We had a party of five. We had a very nice cozy booth and I'll server. She was very knowledgeable. Very patient very attentive. I'm sorry that I forgot her name right now we had one lady at the table that suffered from allergies she took her time to write down what she was allergic to And they prepared her food. Accordingly our food came out hot and tasty and I do recommend this location to anyone when you're in the area.

Shanta J.

Yelp
We were greeted promptly and seated. After our drink orders it took a while for the server to come back and take our orders, appetizers came quickly. Entree a while longer but everything was fresh when it came. The server was accommodating when I asked for additional sauces which was great. Refills were missed a couple times. Overall a 4/5 experience. Our waitress was stretched so thin it but food was decent and prices as expected for the area. The complimentary fritter basket was delicious but I like sweets after my meal and wished it came later. (Really tasted like mini funnel cakes) Nice little touch ending with lemon sorbet for our party. The lobster Alfredo was more cheese than sauce. But I asked for more sauce and they were accommodating thankfully and it took it up a notch with a touch of salt. Although the amount and size of lobster left a lot to be desired. I loved that the calamari had tentacles, a bit much breading but easily crumbled off and a better taste in doing so. The Lobster bites were delicious, husband loved his crab cakes although I didn't taste but they were meaty. The Thai shrimp taco was good and gator bites ok as well. We were visiting prior to a cruise and thankful we found somewhere decent that had variety for everyone. We spent around $130 for family of 5. Kids meal not pictured as well as fountain drinks and salads that were not good.

Yelp
Our tradition to eat here every year when we vacation in cocoa beach. Love the fun ambiance, seafood, service!

Dr T J.

Yelp
My entire family got sick from eating here. The drinks were watered down and the soda was flat. They keep the cocktail sauce on the table with no refrigeration. The waitress was nice, but would not recommend eating here something was not prepared right and got us all sick.

Chris D.

Yelp
Enjoyed lunch today at Florida's Seafood. Nemo and Dori greeted us in the first aquarium at the entrance. The blueberry fritters (complimentary w/ meal) were delicious. Linguini w/ garlic sauce was delicious. Great lunch prices and serving sizes. Service was exceptional. Very attentive and quick. They do add a surcharge if using a credit card. Ambiance was perfect. Exceptionally clean restaurant, great atmosphere. No dust spotted on anything! And for a restaurant full of coastal/sea decor, that's a great feat! Bathrooms were clean and stocked. Menus were clean. Lots of aquariums full of awesome sea creatures.

The restaurant was moderately busy, and we waited about 15 minutes to get in. Once we got to our table, it took about 10 minutes to get our food. Food was hot and absolutely delicious. One thing I did not include in my photos is the fried fritters with powdered sugar that you receive prior to your meal. When you're done eating they bring lemon sorbet to the table to cleanse your palate. There are also people that make balloon animals for the kids. The tables are shaped like surfboards. This place is fantastic and a place you must visit went in Cocoa Beach. You won't be disappointed. The entire meal including tip cost $60 which is reasonable, considering we got oysters. My only complaint is parking is a challenge when they are busy. It is still worth it.

Yelp
Good food and good people! The place was cool but the bathrooms could be a lil cleaner! I would definitely come back again...

Yelp
Service was good. Good was very average. My fish and shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. Hush puppies were overcooked.

Yelp
The food was delicious. Had a Caesar salad and added salmon. The salad was wonderful and the salmon was absolutely delicious. The waitress was very attentive even helpful. We are from out of town and so had tourist questions and she was very helpful. Very easy to get in, place an order and food delivered quickly. Everything exactly like you want when you go out to eat.

Yelp
My last review here was 9 years ago.....updating on my most recent visit. This place is my favorite seafood place in. Central Florida. Its loaded right off of 520 on the way to the coast. It is just a couple of miles from Alan Sheppard Park. We live about 45 min from here, so lunch or dinner here is a trip.....but a trip well worth it. We went for a late Lunch/Early Dinner.....quite honestly that is the best time to go because it is usually always busy, but you can beat the rush at these times. There is parking around the back and a few spots up front. Parking was sufficient when I was there, but I have been there at times where parking has been a challenge. On to the food! ....I ordered a combo platter with Shrimp (scampi) and Scallops (Blackened) For sides I had the Cole slaw and wild rice (which are my go- to sides here); All of it was tasty. The Scallops were not necessarily blacked so much, but they were tasty nonetheless. I really enjoy the Cole slaw here because it is a perfect mix....not too dry. I dines with 3 others. They ordered Shrimp & Scallops (all blackened), Bacon-wrapped Scallops, & fried shrimp. Everyone was pleased with their meal on this'd trip. Before the meal we are served Corn Fritters....they come with a bit too much Powdered Sugar for my liking, but everyone else thought they were perfect. They are definitely tasty. Seating inside is not really fancy, but it is what you would expect for a near-ocean side seafood joint. Seats are comfortable enough and the service has always been friendly.
