Delicious coffee and the warmest, sweetest, smiliest welcome the moment we walked through the doors. A gorgeous cafe with an excellent fresh brew of beans and selection of milks. Plenty of coffee prudes (like myself) chatting and working away. A great little laptop spot!

Amazing atmosphere! The hot mocha latte with almond milk is delish. The cookies are out of this world. Most of all, this locally owned coffee shop has the kindest baristas and it is my home away from home.

Google
The coffee is good, though, its not exceptional. The prices are outrageous - an iced flavores latte, not even a large one, was $7.70 at the register, before tip. Considering Columbus has so many other coffee shops that are also in better locations (this one is pretty far from anything), its not possible to justify paying $8 for a latte. If you live in that neighborhood you can go to Safari, a small Somali cafe with $4 lattes. Or, you can drive the extra 10 minutes and go to literally any other Cafe near downtown and pay $3 cheaper on average for the same quality.

Fantastic local coffee shop with so many options. I was unaware of Florin until I signed up for the Columbus Coffee Trail (10 year anniversary) and decided to visit Florin for our first trail visit. Kate greeted us with a huge smile. She was so friendly and explained the Coffee Trail process and about our coffee options. We had a cortado which was amazing. We also had the golden milk (seasonal) both the hot and cold option. It was also super delicious, with a unique tumeric flavor and a little spice. The shop is very cute and clean. They had delicious looking treats which we will have to try next time. It was a comfortable place to open my laptop, use the wifi, and knock out a little work. We gold the golden milk to go and I was super impressed with the sustainable packaging that the drinks came in. Well done Florin. I highly recommend this coffee shop!

Beautiful coffee shop, I had the latte with oat milk my husband had the espresso it was amazing.

Google
Amateur coffee snob review: The latte and the Americano that my wife and I got were spectacular and the taste of the actual coffee flavor was spectacular and cannot be praised highly enough. Aka I could actually taste the fruitiness of the coffee with different flavor note characteristics Not to mention the price of my Americano and my wife's latte were likely half the price of any major coffee franchise in the United States, and yet the quality and attention to detail was over the top. My wife absolutely love the little coffee art on top of her latte even though it was a to-go order. Very nice touch ☺️ Their house blend beans 'the ranger' from what the guy at the front desk told me were the coffee beans they used for espresso shots. All their bean appear to be roasted in the house (cuz I could see the roasting machine in the back) and are absolutely fantastic even pulling a shot on my home machine. The can that these beans came in even was extremely aesthetically pleasing and like any coffee roaster who knows what they're doing, the roast date was clearly printed on the side

Google
My absolute FAVORITE coffee shop in Columbus. The coffee is great as well as the bagged beans for making great coffee at home. The staff are kind and plenty of parking. But what I love is the vibe - really feels like part of a community. I run into people I know almost every time I go there. So grateful for this amazing addition to the neighborhood.

Google
Definitely 5 star service and atmosphere. Very cute shop. I got a vanilla latte and it was interesting, the beans are much more fruity than espresso from a typical shop. I could see people loving or hating the flavor notes.

Yelp
Nice quiet coffee shop. Interesting assortment of coffee and drink options. Very friendly. Lots of locals.

Yelp
So happy to find this little gem while in Columbus! I ordered a latte, my hubby ordered a Cortado. So smooth and not bitter at all. The cortado showed more of the fruity notes of the beans. For the latte.... I would drink this every day! Staff was very friendly as we talked about funny reviews that have very little to do with the business. Treat yourself and try these beans.

Yelp
Lovely first experience here. Awesome customer service. Amazing coffee. I used my trail card for the trailblazer coffee. A bit spicy and delicious. A latte to go in my Trail cup. This is a nice space. I'm glad I was able to sit for a few at a table and enjoy the coffee. Good music overhead.

Yelp
Great place to grab a quick coffee. Have only tried their coffee to go but there was some seating that looked relaxing. Friendly service and environmentally friendly packaging.

Yelp
Started the 10 year anniversary Cbus Coffee pass today. Florin Coffee was our first stop. We got the Trailblazer Cortado. Has delicious hot honey sauce added for the start of this chilly season. Kate lead us through the process and was absolutely a delight. The shop is charming and welcoming. Clean and super diverse. You can bring a work device if wanted or grab and go. Ordered Golden milk, one hot and one iced to go, excited to try as it is another seasonal item. We will definitely return!

Yelp
Don't quite know what to make of this place. I'm not a big coffee, tea, or hot chocolate drinker etc but I came upon this place as I was FORCED to show up for a company event who not only did the organizers NOT SHOW UP but neither did the majority of the employees as well. This is what I get for trying to be the good dutiful employee. Anywho, this is not really an area of town I hang out in as the only place I truly patronize is Oakland Nursery as it's one of the BETTER nurseries in the entire area. Back to the review , upon entrance they've got this huge kitchen in the back and baked goods in a display. Normally an average person would put two and two together and ASSUME that they bake those goods in house BUT THEY DONT! They get them shipped in from vendors like Bear Bagels, Parable, Bake Me Happy etc. They're pretty pricey too and kinda stale like it was yesterday's goods. I can't speak on the quality of coffee and such because coffee and lattes etc are DISGUSTING TO ME but this place had hella traffic in and out of that place so it must be good and well patronized by that area. If you're ever n the area then give em a go but atleast their shipped in baked items are just not my cup of tea!

Yelp
Love the lattes here and also the merch! We walk here every time we visit my mother-in-law and are never disappointed

Yelp
I'm a monthly subscriber & have been for several years. Love their beans, never brewed a bitter cup. everything from the packaging to the stories, they tell about their growers and suppliers that you feel like a part of the family.

Yelp
Very (very!) good coffee -- great atmosphere & friendly staff and customers. Highly recommend trying the pastries, too -- cult-worthy, for sure! A gem!

Yelp
Always here to try new coffee shops! I think they opened within the past few years, but I never got the chance to visit. It must've been around noon on a Sunday. It wasn't overly busy. Only one person sitting on a laptop. More people came in as we sat inside, but mostly to grab and go. I ordered a cortado while my friend got an oat milk latte. They only have oat and almond milk, I think? The menu is pretty simple. No frills here! I did enjoy the cortado though! They serve pastries as well. I can't recall if any of it was vegan? They also have kombucha and other teas if you're not into coffee. The space isn't super large but there's a decent number of tables. Lot of plants too! The large windows at the front allow for tons of natural light. The bathroom was clean as well. It was kinda roomy with an extra mirror to check your outfit! We sat on our laptops until they it neared closing time. Great ambience! They played a good selection of music. Lots of alternative and a mix of some of the popular pop music. The space is kept pretty clean as well. They do a good job wiping down tables and chairs. They also sell merch and coffee beans! Parking is street or at the back of the building.

Yelp
Get service. Tasty coffee. Beautiful plants inside. They do a heart in their lattes. I bought some ethical coffee beans here and got a free coffee for doing so!

Yelp
Great neighborhood coffee shop. Coffee is roasted in-house and baked goods are fresh and delicious. The staff is kind and helpful. Glad to have this spot so close to home.

Yelp
Fist time hitting up Florin coffee and it was a cute little spot. It's a hidden gem that's in a part of town you wouldn't think, but I'm happy I was able to find it and try it out. Needed a coffee at lunch and it was the perfect distance and perfect pick me up. There was not a line once we walked in so I was able to check out the mini menu. I would have liked to see what kinda of syrup flavors they had, types of milk, and just overall options. However the guy that cashed us out was super helpful and chill. Prices are reasonable and i would defiantly go back.

Yelp
florin is a great shop! I consider myself a coffee snob from the west coast and florin does not disappoint. The Ranger is a solid well-rounded roast that might be Columbus finest local roasted bean- it also brews well at home in my home espresso machine. When you need decaf you won't miss any flavor with their decaf. Florin has great in house drinks and their latte (my standard drink used for shop comparison) is consistently one of Columbus best. The shop could use a better selection of pastries. But a seat is hard to find so maybe I don't want them to be any better of coffee shop.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Cute little place! Lots of chairs and tables and even a little side counter. Staff were friendly. I ordered my usual iced matcha with oat milk. Probably my favorite in Columbus so far besides parable. They also had this cute to go container that had no plastic involved. It took me a minute to read the instructions lol My favorite part is that it's not in a nice neighborhood so I can feel like a true hipster. Everyone was super nice, one guy offered me and my boyfriend his table because there weren't any more available, and another lady brought me a straw because she had been standing in front of them when i was looking around.

Yelp
I've stopped in many times, and every time has been positive. However, the most recent one stands out. I came in to pick up a bag (which comes with a cup of drip, cold brew, or espresso!), and I couldn't decide between two coffees. The barista who helped me not only listened, but threw a third coffee in the mix -- a Kenyan coffee that they currently have in stock. I went with the left field option, and it did not disappoint. In my 5 years of trying different coffee, their current Kenyan coffee is hands down one of the best coffees I've ever had. Not overly fruity, and not too balanced and boring. I ran out a few days ago, and I've had dreams about this coffee (perhaps it's time to pick up another bag...). This is just one example of their great detail in sourcing, impeccable roasting, and outstanding customer service. If you are reading this now, go and pick up a bag of this coffee while you can!

Yelp
This adorably quaint coffee shop couldn't be in a more perfect place! Located rather close to interstate 71, Florin Coffee offers a refreshing pick-me-up in a neighborhood that I would otherwise zoom right by. I stopped in for a chai latte on a sunny Thursday morning and not only was I greeted right away, but my drink was made uber fast. The chai was delicious and exactly what I needed at the moment. The space itself has a ton of great natural light, I loved the plants in the front window, and the fact that you can work there right now is amazing! Most coffee shops around Columbus right now only offer to-go. Not here friends! They are sanitizing the tables, have them spaced out, and everyone that was working was wearing masks. For this reason alone, I'll be back! And sooner rather than later. I'm really happy to see this shop, especially in this neighborhood, and I suggest you give them a visit!
google avatar

Yelp
A really nice space with friendly service and really good coffee. I wish they had a little more outdoor space, but the indoor space is bright and relaxing, with big windows to still enjoy the weather. The coffee is pretty strong, and seems to only come in one size, which was a little odd, but it pretty much just means you can try more options for coffee. Also there was a puppy outside, so how can I say anything negative about the place?

Amelie M.

Yelp
They have rotating homemade pop tarts that are the bomb. unlike the real ones I could eat the part with no frosting all day.

Yelp
I needed a place to work for the morning so, I decided to give Florin a try. Some other reviews noted that there isn't much seating but the staff and atmosphere are great. Both of those ring true! There's a big "conference table", a 4 person bar, and 4 smaller tables. It was absolutely packed when I got there at 9 but cleared out around 9:45 and the remote workers stayed around. When there are more than 2-3 people talking at a time, the espresso machine going, and the music playing, it can get pretty noisy. As far as the coffee, I ordered the cortado with their seasonal cardamom syrup and loved it. It was the right amount of sweetness and spice, and the flavors blended together well. The espresso tasted fresh and wonderfully roasted. They have their beans for sale in shop! Lastly, the bathroom is gender neutral and as clean as my bathroom at home! There's a baby changing table and a basket stocked with high quality feminine products. Overall, Florin was a great experience. The only thing that would make it better is if they were open a liiiittle longer and served lunch items. ;) I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I have seven different ways to make coffee at home: Chemex, Hario V60, Kalita Wave, Aeropress, MoccaMaster, Siphon, French press. I also use precisely weighed premium beans, a burr grinder, gooseneck kettle, filtered water at 205 and at correct ratio of water to beans. So yes, I'm one of those types - very picky. I've also been to every artisan coffee shop in Columbus. Additionally, I can tell you where some of the best coffee shops are in about 20 large American cities ... and even a few places in Europe. So I'm here to say this - Florin brings it. Period. I feel like I won the lottery, because this tiny little shop just slightly off the beaten path is just 5 min from me, Absolutely superb coffee, espressos, cappuccinos, matcha lattes and such. A+
google avatar

Lisa Z.

Yelp
Adorable little coffee shop in a small shopping strip. I got the chocolate donut as a morning treat and it was very filling. The lattes were alright but not the best I've had in the city. However, this little coffee shop is great for meetings and studying. They've got a generous amount of plugs alongside the the walls and there's always a couple groups of people inside chatting or getting work done.

Yelp
A cute inconspicuous gem in Linden. Walking in, they made the most of this small space to accommodate both any and all sunshine & social distancing standards. Pastels and neutrals cover the walls to make it appear brighter. The cafe offers espresso beverages, some tea options, and bakery items. I tried their chai with a shot of espresso (dirty chai). From the taste of it, their chai is made in-house, not too sweet, and plenty flavorful. The espresso adds depth to the drink and balanced perfectly. This is a great way to start your day.

Yelp
Super cute ambience full of gorgeous potted plants; perfect for anyone who loves a clean, minimalistic modern feel/decore full of plants! It is a tad small so it can feel a little tight at times but I didn't mind it one bit where I was sitting close to the front window. Wi-Fi was really fast and dependable so this would be a great place to get some work done (besides being a perfect place for a meet up with a friend!). The cappuccino with oat milk (no alternative milk upcharge, we love to see it!) was perfect and just how I like it: strong, smooth, and creamy.

Yelp
Such a cute little coffee shop within walking distance from my place. Stopped in with a friend after a walk at the nearby park. Florin has such a serene vibe there are just a few tables and the counter to order in the back. There are a ton of plants that surround the front of the shop in the windows, they were really pretty. The staff was friendly and service was quick. We sat at the high top table and enjoyed our chai. I also grabbed one of the pastries, a pesto stick with every bagel seasoning. It was very tasty but would definitely be better warmed. My iced chai with whole milk was delicious. Glad I found this little gem, as the weather gets nicer it will be a great spot to walk to.

Yelp
Their coffee and vegan pastries are delightful. Super cute atmosphere and the staff here are very nice.

Yelp
I have lived in Columbus for almost and decade and never heard of this place until recently it popped up on my near by map and I am so glad it did! What an awesome little shop. Prices are super reasonable with a latte under $5 and drip coffee for $2! The decor is lovely and would be a great place to study. I had the ginger latte, Cardamom latte and the homemade pop tart. Everything was lovely. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. Coffee is roasted in-house and can be bought by the bag.
google avatar

Joseph R.

Yelp
I got there right at open so there weren't that many people there so there was a very calm environment to the place. The service was nice and they walked my coffee out to me. Sad that they wouldn't do refills with a charge for the cold brew but it wasn't the end of the world, they only do it for drip.
google avatar

Jackie P.

Yelp
Friendly baristas and delicious coffee!! Wish there was a bit more seating. Very cute merch for sale too!
google avatar

Yelp
Walked in to Florin trying to survive a hangover from h*ll. Was told by coworkers that it was the best coffee in Columbus so I had to check it out and bring my partner. We enjoyed the cold brew, a donut, and a chocolate croissant. The croissant was STUFFED with chocolate and the donut was to die for. (Seriously, my partner said the next morning that he wanted to go just for the donut). The cold brew was also great, well balanced and smooth. Bought some beans and a mug on our way out after reviving myself and allowing my partner to do some work. Highly recommend as both a coffee shop, and a place to hangout.

Rooney L.

Yelp
What I got was delicious, the nibbler and the chai was a amazing combo, a perfect wake up call.

Yelp
I just love the surprises life can bring sometimes. I live really close to this coffee shop and had no idea. I asked a close friend, "man, I wish there was a good coffee shop close by". My friend responded, "ahh, I think there is. It's on Oakland park or something". Florin IS that coffee shop. I had recently traveled overseas and had a lot of coffee, as well as espressos. I was very saddened when I arrived back to America, over the lack of good coffee. I'm sorry, I'm by no means a coffee snob. I just like good coffee. So many places say they have great coffee. Not to be rude, but that's not true. An easy tell is their espresso. So, I got an espresso at Florin, along with a coffee. And man, it was powerful. Just as a proper espresso should be. And I complimented the establishment accordingly. Their coffee can match up to anyones. I was extremely impressed. Like I said, the little surprises of life, if you are just curious enough to look. Will be visiting them regularly.

Yelp
Outstanding coffee and coffee drinks are prepared to perfection. My cortados were the best I've ever had, and I drank these every day in Miami.
google avatar

Mya H.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite coffee places, the coffee itself is- yes good, however, not the best in Columbus. I would go here over other places though for many reasons: the staff is SO kind, always talkative and helpful! The atmosphere is so relaxing, great music choices, cute setup, and they have so many vegan options! They offer oat and almond milk for drinks and often are stocked with vegan pastries which is rare for coffee places in Columbus honestly. (Go for a pop tart, they are so good!) My brother really enjoys there drip coffee and espresso but I find it somewhat fruity or tart? It's not bad just different- if you are like my brother you'll definitely like it but if you don't like really strong coffee then I'd recommend a mocha or chai! I like a chai with oat milk a lot!

Yelp
Stopped by Florin this morning for some coffee and treat. This coffee shop is located in a easy to find area of North Linden neighborhood between few businesses. They have street parking in the front which can be easy or not so easy depending on your parallel parking skills (not my fave). I did not look for any other parking besides the spots right up front. The inside is so cute and spaced out so there is plenty of room to sit down and be distanced from others. There's also a taped line so that you won't be too close to the person in front of you while waiting. They have SO MANY beautiful plants that you can admire while you wait or hangout with your cup of coffee. Florin offers a small menu of coffee as well as tea for non coffee drinkers. They also have a selection of treats like destination donuts, patty cake bakery treats and some cookies to pair with your beverage! I got a donut and iced coffee and enjoyed every sip/bite! The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to customers ordering and waiting for online order pick up. I'm not in this area often, but look forward to coming back!
google avatar

Maria S.

Yelp
This is a cute little coffee shop. My husband loved the whole bean retail coffee he took home and blended to make his cold brew. They had a couple other flavors as well. They do a nice job of social distancing and sanitizing between guests. Not only is there coffee delicious, but they have a cute pastry display with donuts and such if you need a sweet treat on your way out. Don't park on the left hand side of the building. Best to park around back there is an open lot back there
google avatar

Micah B.

Yelp
So I work in the area and had no idea this was here, hidden little gem! Very pleasant staff, they roast on site, and reasonable prices. I got an Americano; sets a good baseline for cafes plus its as American as it gets! Smooth drinking, one of those easy sipping coffees that help you wake up instead of those overpowering palette wreckers. This place will be a regular visit
google avatar

Elise Z.

Yelp
A perfect gem placed in the area! Florin had a great atmosphere friendly staff with natural lighting and plants galore. Had a chai latte with oat milk and it was very good. They have WiFi and enough seating given it is a small cafe so would work for a place to study or work out if the office.
google avatar

Lyndsey A.

Yelp
Looks questionable from the outside but beautiful interior. They make one of the best mochas I have tried in Columbus. I would definitely recommend trying them.
google avatar

Henry M.

Yelp
Great spot for coffee. The staff is very friendly and quick to get you your order. The cold brew is always excellent!
google avatar

Sam G.

Yelp
Their staff is SO hospitable that they let me in a few days before they had officially opened. In all seriousness, I didn't realize they hadn't had their grand opening yet and stopped for a coffee. Fortunately, the owner was really understanding. I ended up ordering a subscription to their whole bean coffee, which is coming in handy these days! I stopped back into the shop after they officially opened. It's equally as pleasant with other customers.

Hunter S.

Yelp
Great neighborhood coffee and pastry place! The store is clean and well kept with lots of healthy plants in the front windows (that's usually a good indication that the owners care about their business). I enjoyed their mocha and a pastry - all served quickly. Worth a stop before or after you go to Oakland nursery just down the street.
google avatar

Kerri L.

Yelp
Great little spot a mile up the road from my house. Parking isn't the best, there's street up front and lots behind but because it's in the middle of the strip mall you might have to walk around. Not a huge deal but a heads up! Last summer the partner with Little Ladies soft serve truck was one of my favorite events. Ice cream AND coffee?! The online order system is easy peasy, you cant go wrong with any of the drinks and the pesto twist is delish. I ordered two bags of Christmas brew as gifts and they came ground and ready! Also in the package was a holiday card from the owners and their adorable kiddos. My only wish would be more sugar free syrup flavors Skip the Starbucks and support this awesome local shop, you won't be sorry!

Yelp
I don't venture into Linden very often, but after hearing about this new coffee shop, I'd been eager to check it out for a few weeks. A sunny Saturday morning was the perfect opportunity to do so, and so my girlfriend and I checked it out a little before 10:00. First of all, it's a lovely little space. I do agree with some other reviewers that it might be a bit *too* little, as there are only seven or eight tables, but the decor is admittedly delightful. The menu options are somewhat limited, though the "Sweet Latte" on the board can actually be caramel, mocha, vanilla or other flavors. There is also a small assortment of baked goods, sourced locally. We both opted to have sweet lattes -- each caramel -- and we split a cinnamon roll. The drinks came out fairly quickly, though one at a time...which is not a big deal. It *is* a little unfortunate that there were only two people working, however, as the place started to get very busy by around 10:15 -- six or seven people in line, and all tables full. This is ultimately a very good thing, of course, as it means that word is getting out about the coffee shop. The lattes themselves were good, and one of the benefits of a shop roasting their own beans is that the espresso has an immediacy to it that pre-packaged beans usually lack. This coffee is strong, with a bit of an edge -- similar to Luck Bros., to my palate. The cinnamon roll was also quite yummy...very sweet, but it was glazed rather than iced or coated with cream cheese (which we didn't mind). We ultimately decided that the overall Florin experience was good -- nice atmosphere, kind staff, good coffee drinks, good pastry -- though it might not be a place that we would go out of our way to return to. It would be a place to come back to when we're in the area though, so take that as you will. More than anything, we're just happy to see that Linden has a lovely new coffee shop to serve a clientele that doesn't otherwise seem to have a spot like this. Hopefully it becomes something of a neighborhood nexus and contributes to community building.

Corie O.

Yelp
Florin has amazing coffee, a great atmosphere and welcoming and friendly employees. They also have pastries and donuts from a local vendor that are delicious! I'd definitely recommend this adorable little shop

Alex S.

Yelp
Good experience overall - good coffee, pleasant staff, and great assortment of treats. On the other hand, I do think it's a bit pricey for this area. I am not sure if any of the surrounding neighbors/locals could afford to come here on a regular basis. The surrounding area has definitely seen better days! It seemed like most people (like me) were driving from other neighborhoods to get coffee here. Given there's so many great coffee shops in Columbus, I don't think I would be back. While it was a good experience and I am glad I tried, there isn't anything particularly compelling enough which would make me want to return.
