"Legendary florist Katsuya Nishimori first made a name for himself as the chief floral designer at the floral shop inside the Japanese department store Takashimaya. When Takashimaya shuttered in 2010, Nishimori and his team opened up their own place in Flatiron. They're known for daring, architectural arrangements with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic. Most of the flowers come from their organic farm in upstate New York, about eighty miles north of the city."

Thank you so much! We sent flowers to my sister in law since they took a last minute trip to New York. They made all the arrangements and were so helpful and friendly.

Yelp
Impeccable and thoughtful work with such amazing client services. Floristry worked with my husband and me on our wedding last Fall '18. I contacted them in early Spring and Sandra, the owner of Florisity, was so open, optimistic, and flexible with the modest budget I had proposed. She took a very open approach which started off the positive experience. Her client and sales relations director Rahfee, and design director, Emily handled our project and they were so cordial, collaborative, professional, and very quick at correspondence and project development. Rahfee made the financial and contract logistics so easy to deal with. And Emily is such a talented designer that she was able to understand our needs and objectives, and create a vision that was even better than what I had imagined. Her design aesthetic is so modern and elevated. Even at the week prior to the wedding, they were so open and expedient at making any last minute adjustments or additions that we needed. At the day of the wedding, they arrived promptly on time and the floral designs were completed so beautifully and quickly. Everything moved so seamlessly and Emily was on location to make sure everything was in order until after the ceremony. All our guests remarked on how elegant and classy the arrangements were. And everyone, including my husband and I, loved the unconventional wedding color palette which accentuated the Autumn weather. It was so rich and sophisticated. It was such a great pleasure to work with the Florisity team and I thank them for helping make our day so special and distinct. I look forward to working with them again soon, whether it be an event or a gift of flowers.

Yelp
Unfortunately I can't recommend this place. Ordered flowers on behalf of a client, they over-billed her. On a second attempt, I paid $220 for medium sized flower delivery to Williamsburg and it was the smallest arrangement I have ever seen. Literally, like 4-5 stems and I only saw it because my client posted it on IG. I was horrified. When I called to speak to the manager, I was told he/she wasn't in. I asked for a call back, and I am still waiting... This was over a week ago. This place is terrible, and they do not do an honorable job. Order elsewhere.

Yelp
What a complete disappointment! There are plenty of fabulous florists in this city providing unique, artful floral arrangements. Please avoid the frustration and hassle of working with Florisity! I wish I'd referenced the Yelp reviews prior to choosing them to provide a unique arrangement to thank a family who hosted my daughter to a magical weekend in NYC. I found Florisity written one the "best" florists in an article in the magazine Goop. After reading that article and the information on the Florisity site, I even trusted to simply provide my credit card for an arrangement of their choice. My credit card was charged instantly and I received a sparse confirmation email that included an order number. The arrangement was to be delivered the day it was ordered. Two days later, I received NO information. I wrote to Florisity and almost 19 hours later I received an email stating they were waiting for their "delivery report?" Couldn't they at least have started to ease a client's concern by personally using the telephone to reach out? They could certainly look at their orders fulfilled and confirm the arrangement had (or had not) been created? It's 24 more hours later and I still have not heard back from Florisity. They have provided the absolute worst customer service! It's been so bad that I actually felt compelled to confirm whether they were actually a real business! Save yourself time, frustration and concern by choosing an alternative florist in NYC.

Yelp
There were two things EVERYONE was talking about at our wedding: 1. The Dress 2. THE FLOWERS Florisity did an amazing job of bringing together our color concept and using beautiful, fresh, unique arrangements to compliment the old factory space where we had our wedding. They were punctual and attentive to detail, and delivered exactly what we wanted. The colors in my bouquet were an EXACT match to my bridesmaids dresses, and we had a mix of our favorites -- calla lilies and dahlias. My husband has since asked them to send us monthly flowers so we can continue to celebrate our new marriage with their beautiful arrangements throughout the year. One of the things we love about Florisity's aesthetic is that each arrangement looks different from every angle -- you'll have a rose on one side, and then a cluster of orchids on the other, and then berries on the other side. Stunning!

Yelp
PLEASE AVOID. If I could give negative stars, I would. This company is a ridiculous sham of a florist that will take your money and NOT deliver. I wish I had checked Yelp before I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day for MY BOSS and subsequently had to chase down these idiots for 3 hours to confirm delivery. I ordered a bouquet costing well over $200 and not one flower, not one petal was delivered. On VALENTINE'S DAY. This is what you do? The one day of the year where you probably make the most money and do the most business? I can't imagine. Adding insult to injury...after being promised 3 times that I would receive a call back.... Guess what... I didn't. I call a fourth and fifth time to check on the order and their answering machine picks up. I guess they called it a day. On Valentine's day with an outstanding order that had not been delivered...they went home. Please do not spend your money with this company, they will not deliver your order, they will not provide ANY customer support and when called out about it, they will make up idiotic reasons as to why the order was not delivered, (I guess, it just didn't make it..I don't know why this happened, there was only ONE OTHER order that did not get delivered...really?) offer to deliver it on another day, or give you a credit instead of a refund...as IF a delivery on February 15th will make up for it...or a credit, when I intend to tell everyone I know near and far to avoid them. Do yourself a favor and just keep it moving. Buy stems at a bodega if you have to. The NERVE of these people. To then send an email confirmation that the order was delivered the next day. They are lying, liars who lie. AVOID.

Yelp
I booked this vendor for my wedding bouquet and my husband's boutonnière. Long story short, if you want a loose or bigger bouquet you won't find it here. The quality of the flowers they use are lovely, I just didn't get what I asked for. Now I wish I had picked another vendor every time I see my photos.

Yelp
I'll never go here for flowers again. The flowers I got were old and withering. I actually had to pluck a few petals off the rose for fear of embarrassing myself in front of my girlfriend...but wait, there's more! They wrapped the 3 roses in what amounts to a heavy paper bag that you'd get at the grocery store, and tied a bow around it to try and make it look nice. My girlfriend jokingly referred to them as her "cardboard flowers" for the rest of the night. My flowers were also sitting on the counter waiting for me, not in a refrigerator being kept at a cool temperature like most flowers are. I ordered the flowers at around 2pm, and came back to get them at 5pm. I really hope they weren't sitting on the counter the entire time waiting for me to come get them, though I think they were. I will never come here again.

Yelp
Love. This. Place. If you want an EXOTIC, unique floral arrangement go here. I came in looking for something classy for a friend for her engagement and was assisted by Peter. Peter did not give me what I expected - his product was so far above and beyond what i could have ever imagined! Like, seriously - it looked like a floral arrangement from another planet. Go to this place if you want to impress someone. Warning - it's not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for.

Yelp
Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If this is the company on 1 w 19th St. they are writing bad checks. Just got one for $500.00. Tried calling no response. They don't pick up phone and don't respond to voice messages.

Yelp
Formerly the purveyor of the gorgeous flowers at the now-closed Utowa, Florisity moved to its own space last year. The flowers are the most spectacular in New York -- parrot tulips, anemones, zebra-striped roses!

Yelp
Really nice flowers a little expensive. If you are into nice flowers and do not mind spending a few bucks this is a good place. It would be a great place if you could return the flowers once they started to die. However that would not make any sense.

Yelp
I arranged with Florisity weeks in advance to have flower arrangements made for my 40th birthday party at a venue. I had provided my credit card information, etc. The day of the celebration, they never showed. I called several times that day when the venue alerted me that the flower arrangements had not been delivered but never got an answer. When I finally did speak to someone the following week, they said "something" had happened over the weekend and apologized and said they would get back to me. But never did. Two and a half months later I still have no explanation for why they completely bailed on me. Much less any kind of voucher or compensation for not having any flowers for my special day. I opted to go with them instead of the florist recommended by the venue and completely regret doing so.

Yelp
I was getting married a year ago. I knew of this florist and their work because they supplied flowers for my office. Beautiful arrangements. I made an appointment and visited the shop about a month and a half before my wedding. One of the florists and I chatted about what I was looking for and when. All I wanted was bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. No grand floral arrangements or anything like that. He said he would draw up some arrangements or contact me with ideas. I NEVER heard from him or anyone even though I e-mailed the person several times. NADA. Then about 3 weeks before my wedding date, I received an e-mail asking if I "had them still in mind." My assumption was that what I wanted wasn't worth $$$$ it to this florist. A pity as the arrangements at the office were masterpieces.

Yelp
I was trying to figure out how I would review this. If you want to send an eclectic , funky whacky bouquet to someone who you know is eclectic funky and whacky plus pay the price for it then ok. Your exlectic funky whacky friends/ clients will be impressed. If you are trying to send your standard bouquet to say thank you to a client or you are in our thoughts to a client or someone you don't really know their style this is not the place to go to. Basically the 2 things I've had ordered there , you look at it and go that's interesting. I think when you receive a bouquet it's my hopes one would say those are beautiful and thoughtful. The last two bouquest we stood around impressed of what they could do with exotic flowers but also trying to figure out what the heck the florist was thinking.

Yelp
Short story: Attitude sent me right back out the door. I will never go back. Walked to Doro's Annex Florist 180 9th Ave @20th (212) 255-5639 and was VERY HAPPY with service and selection -same $$$ Long story: I have admired Florisity's artistry for years. I'm hosting a swanky shower and my budget is small - $150 was my starting point. I wanted one dazzler arrangement for the gift table, or maybe a few stems in a tall vase and a long, low something for the banquet table. I know this is a small order for a high-end place. I'm not an idiot -- so I called a week ahead and asked if this was even possible. A nice woman said yes, and gave me a day/time to come see her, to get an idea what they could do for my budget. I called this morning to confirm. She was at a wedding in the Hamptons! But they said another woman could help. So I left my house, in the rain, got on the subway, came down to their damn shop, excited to see what magic we could make. The new woman was very sweet. BUT THEN - she explained my request to a horrible little man who was a total douche. He was literally sneering at me "We can't guarantee what type of flower." I said "that was explained to me but I was told me to come in and get an idea..." He said, "well for $100 I could give you mainly branches." Can you imagine? I'm in sales, and it's a mystery to me that people stay in business, being so nasty. I would've gone up to $200 for a little courtesy, creativity and enthusiasm for our special event. OR - he could've said "you know, for your budget, I think you would be happier at another florist, let me recommend a few..." Florisity- This order was small, but the 20 people attending the shower are wealthy NYers -- who knows where this small business could've lead? The wedding is at the Waldorf Astoria! I said "I came here because I've always admired the work, but your attitude is terrible and I don't want it polluting my memory of this special day. I'll find someone else." It's NYC - within walking distance was Doro's Annex and they were accommodating and lovely.

Yelp
This place is an elegant utopia for any New Yorker. I used to go to Takashimaya for an escape but since they've closed, Florisity is their new home and they've pulled out all the stops. The designers are the same from Takashimaya so they have all of the elegant and avant garde designs. I can't get enough of this place!

Yelp
Florisity did the flowers for my wedding. They were nothing short of inspired. This is a very special place and they put their hearts and considerable talents into everything they do.

Yelp
Wow. This is the only wedding vendor I have worked with where I had to basically beg for someone to provide me with information. I had to ask for the contract (...actually I have still not received it and my wedding is in 7 days). I had to ask for visuals. They would email and tell me they would send something over "tomorrow"...at least 2-3 days would go by before I had to email to hear from them again. I had really wanted to work with them, as their arrangements do look unique, but I couldn't stomach wondering if they would even show up on my wedding day...Disappointing, and poor business and customer relations. Management absolutely needs to get it together.
