Flo's V8 Cafe

This is a great stop to eat at if you happen to be in this part of the park. I went here after experiencing the cars ride. The line is typically on the longer side but service moves it along smoothly. I ordered a Ka-cheeseburger as I wasn't all that hungry. The burger itself isn't anything extreme but satisfied me, included is a couple of side items.

The cookies and cream shake will make you doubt any thoughts that you might have about being lactose intolerant. It hit the spot right on! The burger is nothing fancy, but for some reason eating it while listening to oldies music outside made it extra delicious. If you are looking for some simple, old timey, American fanfare, this is the place.

Transported into the Cars movie from the moment you step foot near this great eatery. This cafe has it’s own individual vibe and takes you back to the old school era of the days gone bye. The folks at Disney did an amazing job of incorporating both neon lighting and items throughout to tantalize the eyes and bring joy to the heart. Nestled footsteps away from Radiator Springs Racers, this great food spot have good quality choices for the whole family. Reasonably priced, for Disney standards, you can grab a quick bite while taking in the sites and sounds of Carsland. Sit outside near the gas pumps of the golden era and enjoy the sounds of excitement from the park goers enjoying the rides and music from the movie keeping you in the vibe…. Fried chicken.. Sandwiches.. Kids meals..Deserts…Good amount of choices… Lines move pretty quick… Order, then stand by window and out comes the eats… Grab a seat and enjoy!

Skip the Ramone's Low and Slow Club at Flo's V8. My sandwich was a far cry from the picture - barely toasted bread and skimpy on the bacon. The flavor was okay, but not worth the $13 price tag. You're better off bringing your lunch or grabbing a sandwich from somewhere else. On the bright side, there's ample seating at Flo's, but be warned: it's LOUD. The music echoes terribly, especially in the clean restrooms (though I did appreciate those). I saw kids bothered by the noise level covering their ears (little boy pushing in his chair saying "why do they make those chairs so loud. It's so loud!") and frankly, so was I. This one's a miss for me - I won't be back.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was well themed which is great! Good for photos. We ordered fried chicken and surprisingly it was crispy and juicy! The price is reasonable $20. Cast members were cleaning up the tables pretty quickly. Overall, I will recommend this place to enjoy the meal and take a break in DCA.

What an amazing vibe!! The music matches exactly what you'd expect to hear in a dinner from that era. The music isn't the only hit but the art, furniture and uniforms of the staff perfectly set the mood. And as with all the restaurants in the park they are great at chattering to allergies. Wether you are celiac, can't eat nuts, react to milk, or any other number of restrictions they are ready to help. 10/10 recommend for a quick bite!

Decent place for burgers, sandwiches, and fries. My club sandwich was fine - good amount of turkey, but nothing special. Same with the burgers here. There are usually limited, seasonal offerings, so it's fun to see what new items they have. Definitely mobile order to skip the line. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
