We came to Flo’s for breakfast during our day at Disney California Adventure Park after the first run of rides after rope drop. The restaurant conveniently locates near the Cars rides (of course the name) so it was a great spot to take a break and regain our energy. The decoration is spot on and thematic. The menu contains mostly fast food so the tables were available quickly even if there were many people. The food on the other hand was nothing special other than their names. We tried Ramone’s Low & Slow Club. Taste and portion were average. It also came with fries and we actually enjoyed the fries more than the sandwich itself. In overall, it was an okay place to eat something and continue your magic day. I hope they would add something special to the menu to match the theme and the price.

I've dined here a few times over the years, and it's been a pleasant experience so far. The food here is average to great. You'll find the sustenance needed for more Disney energy. Mobile ordering is a notable feature, saving time and stress in lines. Highlights of Flo's V8 Cafe: - Mobile Ordering - Steak fries! - Changing Seasonal items - Alcoholic drinks - Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating - Fun 50's theme exterior and amazing at night! - Magic Key holder discounts - Allergy-friendly items My favorite items would be the Ka-Cheeseburger with steak fries and Ramon's Slow n Low Club. Flo's Fried Chicken is a good option if you have an appetite or as a shareable. The shakes and seasonal desserts are great choices if you have a sweet tooth. Flo's V8 is a great spot to relax and enjoy tasty American-style comfort food. The staff is usually friendly and helpful, and the dining areas are kept clean and tidy.

This was one of our favorite spots to eat at DCA! The atmosphere is so much fun. We sat on the side and could see when Lightning McQueen left and Mater came out. Our burgers were delicious. The fried chicken was #2 in our books for the parks. Only thing that messed it up is we couldn't get a shake because the machine was broken.

Google
Came here twice one in the afternoon and another one in the evening. They had milk shakes and we got all three flavors; vanilla, chocolate 🍫 and strawberry 🍓 Chocolate one was incredibly sweet and we just finished 1/3 of it and it was enough for us, secondly strawberry and the least sweet one was vanilla one although everything was sweet over all. And that was our afternoon visit. We came here to have dinner as well. We had burgers 🍔 since other places were fully packed and no where to go nor sit so we came here again. So happy that they have impossible burgers so vegetarian people like me can still enjoy while being in the theme park! :)

Google
MARTIN went out of his way to help us, and he did that for everyone around us as well. Service and atmosphere are phenomenal. We got Cuties instead of fries for our side - they keep them refrigerated so that was a special treat on a hot day.

Google
I can't believe my family waited an hour for this food! $60 for crap. The fries were hard and cold, the cheese wasn't even melted and the burgers were cold. Complete TRASH we are so irritated we had to just eat the nasty food cause we didn't want to wait another hour for food. What a joke this experience was for my kids 1st time at Oogie Boogie and eating here!

Michelle M.

Google
Best place to get burgers and sandwiches inside DCA! Inside Cars land you’ll have the best view of the radiator spring racers. I recommend the mater burger!

Google
Excellent location to eat and watch cars land. Unique themed Cafe that brings you back in time and into cars land at the same time. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Lots to see on the street. Service was decent. Food was really good and prices were reasonable. Best food option in this area. Flos fried chicken was darn good !

Yelp
Flo's V8 Café is one of those places that instantly pulls you into the magic of Cars Land. From the moment you walk up, the retro Route 66 aesthetic, neon details, and cozy desert-diner vibe make it feel like you've stepped straight into Radiator Springs itself. It's nostalgic, charming, and surprisingly relaxing for being inside a theme park. The food is solid, comforting, and hits the spot every time. The fried chicken is crispy and flavorful, the rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes is warm and satisfying, and the milkshakes are creamy, rich, and perfect for cooling off. Everything feels fresh, filling, and well-portioned -- exactly what you want during a long Disney day.

Yelp
This Carsland diner is super cute, with its gas station theme, neon lights, and aqua colors. Make sure to go into the back dining room with a giant Riverview mirror - - very cool! There are little jukeboxes of each of the pickup windows, also very cool. This is a counter service place, kind of. Pay at the register and then go up to the windows to pick up your food. You can order ahead during busy times and put your order in on your phone when you arrive. You'll get a message on your tobyland app saying when your food is ready. We ordered two pastrami sandwiches and fries and fried chicken plates. Pastrami sandwiches were amazing and stacked high with pastrami. Fries were fine but nothing special. The Fried Chicken was absolutely delicious as was the mashed potatoes with chicken gravy. The mixed veggies were cold and didn't taste anything special. No special seasoning or even better that I could tell. This evening alone makes this place a great place to eat, and if you don't expect much from the veggies, then the food is really good too. Well we didn't order any hamburgers, I should say that they did not look great. So stick with the pastrami and Chicken in your golden!

Yelp
If you are looking for a great place to eat at California Adventure Park, but don't have a reservation, head over to Flo's V8 Cafe. They have a great variety for everyone. My favorite is the famous fried chicken! The kids are happy with their burgers and fries. If you go on Thanksgiving Day, you will see the BEST Pumpkin Pie EVER on the menu. It sells out quick.

Yelp
I have not yet had food from Flo's, but it is another great a lot to grab a yellow cup, especially if you are about to get in line for Radiator Springs Racers. The Pink Lemonade Seltzer was very good, but the Pineapple Habanero Margarita was definitely not as good as I was hoping. It was a bit too sweet and the habanero flavor just wasn't there. The ambiance inside the cafe at night is pretty awesome with the neon lights.
google avatar

Jeremy S.

Yelp
I have to admit, I wasn't really expecting that much at Flo's V8 Cafe. Just went mainly for the vibes and the nostalgia because I love Cars and diner settings in general. Flo's famous fried chicken is a must have. Really good chicken straight off the fryer that tasted great. The mashed potatoes and veggies on the side were also great. The pastrami sandwich was solid but nothing special, I also got some pretty fatty chunks of pastrami but liked the pickles in the sandwich. Where I have to give them props is the portions are huge! Wasn't really expecting that with theme park food. You can't beat the classic diner settings, cool decor, and a great view of Cars land in the back patio. A really good option for food in California Adventure in my opinion. Reasonable pricing, huge portions that could easily feed a family of four with just two dishes, and awesome setting. The food did take about 10-15 minutes to come out but it wasn't a big issue. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here!

Yelp
Ordered the Ka cheeseburger and mango habanero wings. Arrived too early for Halloween themed food but were too hungry to wait lol. Kaitlin, our cashier, was super nice and friendly even though it was so busy. It really makes for a wonderful experience. She explained I could still order the regular buffalo wings and they were pretty close to the halloween special. So I tried the mango habanero wings. Sweet and spicy! Made perfectly. Tender with some crunch on the outside. Thank you!

Yelp
Flos V8 cafe is always a solid lunch option at California Adventure! My dad ordered the pastrami sandwich, mom and I split the Flo's Famous Fried Chicken, and my nephew orders the kids burger. The sandwich was packed with meat, and my dad enjoyed it. The fried chicken was pretty classic and I liked the coating on it. I know the burger was kid sized, but it was extremely tiny! I could've eaten it in one bite. My nephew, who is 7 by the way, didn't seem to mine and seemed to enjoy it. I also have been here a few years ago and ordered the fried chicken salad and really liked it! Next time, I would probably consider getting that again. Make sure you get there around 11am or earlier to grab a nice table in the shade. It's a great spot to relax and watch the hustle and bustle of people walking around Cars Land.
google avatar

Yelp
Got the fried chicken (all dark meat) and it was delicious! I enjoyed the sides as well - mashed potatoes with gravy and veggies. Lots of seating. Service was quick since I did mobile order.

Yelp
For years, I've been told that I needed to try the fried chicken at Flo's or just try in general. I generally eat meat free, but splurged this weekend to try this meal. This chicken is definitely overhyped and lacked flavor. I honestly find KFC has a better fried chicken meal and would have much preferred Plaza Inn as I recall that being a solid meal in the years past when I had. I don't always eat meat as it tends to make me feel poorly and a shame I tried for such an average plate of fried chicken. My bestie had the race day salad as it was the weekend of her half marathon, which was the reason we chose this location as the salad looked like a solid meal to fuel her soon to be race. She said it was pretty decent, so the meal was pretty average all around. We did enjoy the decor, the comfort of the booth, and the friendliness of service when grabbing our mobile order. Speaking of mobile order, you can mobile order and pay so skip that line for lunch and/or dinner! Disney is missing the mark as this location could be a great breakfast location. Who wouldn't love a diner breakfast? I know I would!
google avatar

Katie O.

Yelp
I came here for a quick bite, the food is pricy but tasty! We got a water bottle for $4 and then a kids Mac and cheese for $7 which came with a mini water bottle, carrots, and fries. I Would say this was a good deal for a small snack but the larger meals were a lot more expensive. The line to order was a little confusing but the staff was friendly and helpful! The restaurant is clean inside and outside!
google avatar

Kristine J.

Yelp
Compared the fried chicken experience here to the famous Plaza Inn. I liked Flo's best! More juicy & moist, crunchy perfection, not too salty! I'd get again! $21 though. Mobile ordered.

Yelp
When at California Adventure, we always have a meal at Flo's V8 Cafe. I haven't eaten anything I didn't like here. This last trip, I got a Chicken Salad and my son got the Pastrami sandwich. I was craving a salad since I had only been eating junk food. It was delicious! I especially liked the snap peas that came in it. My son's sandwich was huge! It was so filling and tasty and surprisingly not salty at all. Service was ok. We did wait pretty long to get our food. Apparently, the salads and sandwiches take long to make. The server did keep apologizing, so nothing against him at all. I like the diner look and it's always pretty clean inside. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and our meal.
google avatar

Eunie L.

Yelp
Came specifically to try the Pastrami Sandwich. We mobile ordered and don't know what happened but it was ready 15 minutes after our window. Seating was busy but if you wait around people are constantly flowing in and out. The Pastrami Sandwich was so good. I would even say it's up there on the best things I've ate at DCA. Between the rye bread there's mustard, lettuce, pickles, pastrami, and Swiss cheese. It's a good size sandwich. The sandwich came with fries which were perfectly crispy. I shared this with a friend and it was a perfect light meal. I would highly recommend giving this a try.

Yelp
Dined at Flo's V8 Cafe in Disney California Adventure during Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Event. Flo's V8 Cafe never disappoints. No long lines, no wait times and food is always prepared fresh and hot. The cast members are consistent in providing excellent customer service. Serving portions of their meals are more than enough. During this visit I ordered the Ka-Cheeseburger. It is Angus Beef Patty and Mushroom Patty with American Cheese, Red Onions, Shredded Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles and Thousand Island dressing on a Toasted Bun. It is also served with choice of Cuties Mandarin Oranges or Fries. Many available tables and chairs inside the cafe as well as outside the cafe for dining. One of my favorite food items on Flo's V8 Cafe menu is Flo's Famous Fried Chicken. So good!
google avatar

Drake R.

Yelp
The fried chicken here for some reason is not the same as Plaza, so make sure you know that, but it is a nice place to grab some Yellow Cups!!!

Otherwise, I would recommend walking a little bit more to the food court nearby where there are many more better options.

Yelp
Had the Neapolitan milkshake and it was way too sweet! Tried the pastrami sandwich recently and it was okay. The pastrami was stringy which made it hard to eat and the mustard was overpowering. The fries were already cold when we got them. The view of Radiator Springs is really nice though!! Great spot to sit and relax.
google avatar

Joy A.

Yelp
3.5 to 4 stars I love DCA and all the options of food but sometimes I go to the parks with finicky family and are not as adventurous in trying the seasonal menu. Flo's V8 Cafe is a solid place for good American diner food. Ample seating outside and inside, we have to problem finding a place to eat. On good days with good weather, we like sitting in the outdoor area with Radiator Springs in view. It has a good breeze and it is not so loud as it is in the front. The front resembles a gas station and inside, it is a giant 50s diner. Food is solid. Chicken strips, fries, bacon cheeseburger- they all are well cooked and season. The fried chicken is like Plaza Inn at Disneyland so you don't have to head to the other park if you are craving the fried chicken. Overall, it's a great option for those moments where you just want something familiar and comforting.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
Best place to get burgers and sandwiches inside DCA! Inside Cars land you'll have the best view of the radiator spring racers. A nice place to take a break from the craziness and people watch. Great prices and decent portions. Even the kids meals are good for adults! There are walk up cashiers to get your order.
google avatar

Angela N.

Yelp
I love the retro vibes of this restaurant! Such a cool spot to sit and enjoy a meal under the neon lights. They do mobile ordering if you don't feel like standing in line. Their burgers are okay, nothing special. My fiancé likes to enjoy one every now and then. The fried chicken plate on the other hand is surprisingly good. It came with half a chicken, mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables. The chicken skin was crispy and the meat was flavorful. I was very satisfied with this meal.
google avatar

Nahum S.

Yelp
Came here with the fam for a day of fun and stopped by Flo's they had a delicious gingerbread shake for the holidays and I got their fried chicken, it was pretty tasty, there was plenty of seating and the people were really nice and helpful, over all good vibes in here! There is also seating outside.
google avatar

Sarai T.

Yelp
I had the mango habanero chicken strips, which come with fries, ranch and green onions on top. These were surprisingly good, they were crispy with a slight kick. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, but my favorite spot is in the back where you get a view of radiator springs racers. Eating here while watching the cars race by is so fun!!
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
One of the best milkshakes I've ever had! This combo of the Neapolitan is available at some other spots too, but the one from Flo's hits different. The flavors all complement each other nicely and the cookie gravel stuff adds a lovely texture. The spot has cute diner vibes with my fav being the checkered floor. Quick service speaks for itself as far as the wait time!
google avatar

Lilah J.

Yelp
Was here on an August weekday afternoon with my nephews. One of them suggested this cafe since it is from the movie, Cars. We were first timers using the app so the timing on the app would be much later rather than standing in line. We were in line to order and it moved pretty quickly. The indoor seating was all taken including the ones in the back so, we went to the outdoor tables to eat lunch. The menu is pretty much fast food or diner food. I just had a simple burger and fries. One of the nephews had a Low and Slow Club sandwich that came with Cuties (Mandarin oranges) for the side. My youngest nephew had burger and fries as well. Our burgers were good and the sandwich was also. Fries as well and nothing overall remarkable. The diner is cute and just like the movie. The cashiers and everyone working work with efficiency as they get so many people in and out. The AC is blasting (which I liked on a 91 degree SoCal day) that I have popped in and out of their ladies room when in the Cars Land. We would probably return and try different menu items or otherwise try a different food spot at DCA.
google avatar

Czarina D.

Yelp
Came to try the Mango-Habanero Chicken strips for Halloween. Haven't been to Flos in so long! I love the restaurant theme as a whole. The retro vibe is THE BEST and I love the music. It's also an amazing spot to sit in the air conditioning for lunch if it's hot outside. That Mango-Habanero Chicken Strips were good. They were fine, but nothing special. I wanted them to be spicier. They also were slightly dry. The group said that the dish kind of reminded them of orange chicken. The steak fries were pretty good and the ranch dressing was yummy. Wish there was more ranch dressing actually! Overall, it was fine. Not something I'd actively seek, but something I'd eat again.
google avatar

Christa M.

Yelp
I ate here during my last trip to California Adventure! We had fried chicken with mashed potatoes and we also ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The cashier was super friendly and she took our order quick. The line wasn't too long as they had just opened for the day. Food was great and sitting in the diner was fun. We enjoyed our lunch!
google avatar

Marshawn H.

Yelp
We go to Flo's almost every time we go to California Adventure, and I have to say the ambiance and theming are incredible here. The food is also good, but there are so many cool things to look at here. It may be pricey, but that's to be expected when you go to a theme park.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
The fried chicken here is a steal for the price! Three crispy tender bone-in chicken pieces, mixed veggies, and a mashed potatoes topped with a very creamy umami gravy. What more could you ask for? Just be aware that the chicken is very dependent on the crispiness of its skin and the tenderness of the meat. They do not hide behind additional herbs. Food for mobile orders comes out depending on your pick-up time, and there seems to be a decently sized line around dinner time. It's an old school venue quick service venue and relatively clean.
google avatar

Ashlee D.

Yelp
We love eating at Flo's! I love the decor and the music is always good! The cast members are usually on top of things and keep the tables clean and ready for the next guests. On this trip, we got the new pastrami sandwich and it was pretty good. There was a good saltiness and it was so juicy! The shoestring fries were a bit cold and salty... I wish they'd served it with the steak fries. We also split a classic milkshake with cookie crumbles. Can't go wrong there!
google avatar

Pauline T.

Yelp
We had mobile order ahead of time so the wait wasn't too long. We got the new mango habanero tenders with fries. One of their new items for Halloween time. It was good and not too spicy.
google avatar

Kimanne B.

Yelp
If you are in Cars Land, you must try this place! The fried chicken is the best! Do not skip. You won't be disappointed. Sure, the wait is long but if you order it ahead, it is ready for you when you get there. Honestly if this restaurant was in my neighborhood, I would go weekly. The fried chicken here is the best in the entire park. It is crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Well cooked, not chewy chicken either. Yes, they got beer. Fried Chicken and beer are the best combination. There are many tables for seating, mostly outside. The restroom is next to the restaurant. They have everything you need on the side. The line goes pretty quick for order but expect to wait if you didn't order ahead. Highly recommend this place for Fried Chicken.
google avatar

Annie L.

Yelp
I got the fried chicken plate here for dinner during my visit to California Adventure and it was a nice meal! There's nothing special about the food itself but it's pretty solid comfort food and the portion is very filling. The interior is a cool retro vibe and the outside seating area is really neat as well, themed as a retro gas station.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
I have never eaten here at Flo's V8 cafe before but every time I come to DCA, it's MANDATORY to take a cool aesthetic picture of the Flo's V8 Cafe sign :') The whole cars land at DCA is replicated saur good. Next time I go on a Disneyland trip, I will be sure to stop by and grab a bite here ! Thank
google avatar

Lina P.

Yelp
Not too impressive of a menu, but my pastrami sandwich tasted decent. The pastrami was a bit stringy and hard to bite off, but still tasted okay. Reminded me of Costco pastrami pouches. Portions were generous. Drinks were quite strong. Service not the fastest, but okay. Indoor AC is quite strong on a hot day, providing a great respite from the heat. All in all an okay place for lunch at the CA Adventures park.
google avatar

Itzel M.

Yelp
Highly recommend the Flo's Famous Fried chicken plate. The chicken was fried perfectly. Not too greasy and crispy. Unfortunately the Ka-cheeseburger was not seasoned at all making it a very sad burger.
google avatar

Susan I.

Yelp
I ordered the pastrami sandwich on 11/12/25. It was soggy and most of the pastrami was inedible due to being fatty and chewy. I had to take the sandwich apart to pick out the few good pieces of meat. I'll give this place another chance and order something else next time.
google avatar

Avery N.

Yelp
I think about this chicken everyday, it's become a part of me. Best chicken I have ever tasted! The seasonal chicken was spicy but I dream of having it again! I don't often give restaurants 5 stars but this chicken deserves the recognition. It will be tradition to eat at Flo's Cafe every Disney trip! I enjoy the view of Radiator Springs from where I was sitting. The workers made sure everything was spotless and in addition, I didn't have to wait long to get my food. I recommend this place to everybody!
google avatar

Junaidi A.

Yelp
I like this the famous chicken. It was amazing! It's feels like the taste same as McDonald in Indonesia. I mean it not same as in Mcdonald in USA. I really like the chicken skin, it's so crispy. Smash potato is good as well. Service is good. They have food-runner that would take our dirty plates. The place is so big and clean , you can said this chicken is the best in Disneyland!
google avatar

Larry M.

Yelp
Excellent place to have a meal while your at DCA. The food, service, staff and cleanliness is excellent. Will definitely return for more.
google avatar

Brian Q.

Yelp
What a cool spot at DCA that very much makes you feel like you've time traveled back to the 80s. The whole Radiator Springs area has this kind of atmosphere, but there's just something about a diner that screams comfort food. I tried their burger & fries, and to my surprise, the fries were amazing! I normally prefer thinner fries that are crispier, but despite these being more wedge-shaped, they were actually very crispy to my liking. Like many other food places at Disney, there can be a wait, so ordering ahead on the app can definitely help1
google avatar

Mo H.

Yelp
Tried the Vegetarian burger that came with a side of fries and it was alright. The fries were super salty and I wasn't able to finish it because the over saltiness kept throwing me off every time I tried taking a bite of each French fry. The vegetarian burger was a bit dry, no vegan mayo or anything inside the burger. The bun itself too was also really really dry and it caused my burger to fall apart while picking it up. Not worth the buck it's worth.
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Food was great atmosphere was absolutely nostalgic and amazing!!! Dora took our order and was the absolute sweetest woman!! Made our visit so much better!! Will most definitely return! And if you're into oldies and cars this place is for you!! 1000% recommend

Yelp
This joint has been a reliable eatery for me and my girlfriend every time we are in the park. We debated on other places to eat but the menus just didn't cut it for us. The menu here is great because of the familiar dishes that we know will be worth it. I love how easy it is to find a table spot inside due to the large vicinity and comfy diner feel. The views outside of the Cars Land is spectacular and gives you a perfect retro feel of the immersive land. I got the KaCheeseburger and added an extra topping to it: bacon. That costed about an extra $3.75 to add and in my opinion, wasn't really worth it. It was only 2 slices of bacon that were floppy and soft rather than hard and crispy, the way I like it. However, the rest of the cheeseburger was delicious. I really enjoyed the taste of it and it left me feeling so full. My girlfriend got the Fried Chicken plate ($19.99) which was hearty and filling. It was the half chicken portion fried and plated with steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes. She really enjoyed the quantity of meat given; last 2 times she remarked the chicken pieces were so small. The mashed potatoes and gravy was super delicious and complemented the chicken and vegetables so well. - convenient bathrooms next door - American diner style; french fries, cheeseburgers, etc - will leave you feeling satisfied - large seating areas to choose from - family friendly, large group-friendly

Yelp
Wasn't really impressed with this place. Their burgers were gross. So greasy and just had no flavor. This was our first meal at the parks and wouldn't go here again. The amount of fries they give you on your plate is also shameful. I got a $12 margarita that isn't home made but comes from a can. Big joke.

Yelp
Running low on fumes, and walking by Flo's as a huge LMQ fan I figured might as well stop for something to fill up on. There's not too much variety but sometimes during the day, you take what's around and in this case I slightly wish I hadn't. Don't get me wrong it was okay but just that it was okay. With so many food options and different restaurants I can say that my burger was very lackluster. It's described as a mushroom and angus patty or you can get a plain veggie patty, I opted for the mix. Also got a plate of Flo's fried chicken. What I will say about food that is offered year round opposed to the "seasonal" options. I complained about the birria being "too salty" yet the fried chicken and burger were so bland and flavorless. Mash had a decent gravy but were not seasoned. Veggies on the plate were still hard and needed a couple more minutes to finish cooking, for my liking anyways as I was wanting to feed my baby. Some food have little to no flavor , unless it's done intentionally. In that case I digress and see the point in that, accommodating certain guests and not overdoing sodium intake, etc. Sitting outside the ambience is basic chairs and tables for the crowds but I will say thank you for having high chairs. 5/10 for the burger and 6/10 for the chicken.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to trying Flo's V8 Cafe at California Adventure, but this was a huge disappointment. The food was okay at best--not terrible, but nothing special either. The real issue was the service. It was incredibly slow. From the moment I got in line to the time I actually got my food, it took about an hour. The woman taking the orders seemed completely unconcerned with the long line of guests. She was having full-on conversations with people at the register while the rest of us stood there waiting. It felt like no one was managing the flow or trying to speed things up. Very disorganized, and honestly just frustrating when you're trying to enjoy your day at the park. Would not recommend unless you have unlimited time and patience--which, let's be honest, no one does at Disneyland.

Yelp
Honestly we chose this stop more for the location and fun vibe while we ate. The food was definitely not worth eating here again during our trip. Service was great, but again I'd rather pay more and eat something great.

Yelp
Great place to cool off and have a bite! Mobile orders are quick and the food is standard park food. Can't complain! The music is the best part.
