So so good. The risotto was almost the best I've have ever had.

We had fantastic food there this weekend! The shrimp we're super fresh and the grits were rich and course, just the way we like them. My husband's fillet was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Cannoli dessert was 2 yummy pieces! The drinks were also generous! The ambiance was warm and inviting with a big bar if you prefer that and taking advantage of a great happy hour. Top all this off with great prices and we will be back! And there is free parking!

This has become one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. It's located just south of Downtown so it's easy to get to and has its own parking which is SOOO nice! The food is made with exceptional quality which makes paying a little extra than the average meal worth it. I've had the Fried Green Tomato, Lemon Baked Gulf Shrimp, Black Drum in Parchment, Hanger Steak and the Lamb Bolognese. They do change the menu from time to time though which is nice. Everything I've had has been amazing. Quality Quality Quality! As far as drinks go, the bartenders are very creative and pay great attention to detail with the drinks. The prohibition themes are cute but the quality of liquor mixes is what makes their drink menu stand out! My friend is flying in from the Netherlands next week and this place is on my list of must experience for him! Also, make a reservation with Open Table with them!

Just about everything was delicious! We shared some appetizers and a couple u of dishes. Our server was great too. We didn't sit at the bar but it looks like a good place to hang out also.

I had initially wanted to try this place out for weekend brunch, but was disappointed when I went and they were closed. I guess they stopped doing brunch, which is usually a bad sign business-when. Located in the spot of a former Cuban restaurant that went under, I didn't have much faith. My boyfriend and I finally made it for dinner on a weeknight and I'm pleased to say we were pleasantly surprised. We started out with the macaroni and cheese and the brie appetizers and they were excellent! We shared a porkchop entree with mashed sweet potatoes and some other sides, but the starters were the stars here. I saw a gigantic plate of sweet potato fries go out that made me jealous, so if I ever go back, that will be a must. The ambience is nice, but you are right on a busy part of south lamar. They also do happy hour, but you have to be seated in the bar, which we didn't know and missed out on. All in all, it was a fun, affordable date. Would definitely recommend!

It was my first time here, but I'll be returning. The appetizer was really good and the dish I got as well- mahi mahi. The wine was great too and not too expensive. The place is reasonably priced for the great food. The staff were nice too. I wish I'd gotten their name. Oh yes, and the bread pudding was great too.

Pretty disappointed unfortunately. Short version: microwaved sweet potatoes and tough pork. Complained and got new plates with very well cooked pork and potatoes. Overcharged on bill twice. Out of various desserts. Hadn't been to this restaurant in about 2 years and decided to come back. What a disaster. We both ordered the Pork Tenderloin. It was tough and dry, but warm. The mashed sweet potatoes had hot and cold spots which meant it was likely microwaved! The Brussels sprouts were great in fairness. We talked to the waiter and he quickly brought us two full plates, but one statement was suspect: "Those mashed potatoes shouldn't have been microwaved". He didn't say outright that they weren't cooked in a microwave, just that they ought not / usually aren't microwaved. This time the pork was tender and moist and the mashed sweet potatoes were all one temperature. Why didn't we get these plates first? Why give us the microwaved sweet potatoes and tough meat? We were overcharged for a drink and management took two of my $10 vouchers and only gave $10 off bill. They didn't return the extra voucher when they explained we can only use one voucher per bill. They straight up stole the extra voucher and I had to complain again to either get my extra $10 voucher back or give me the additional $10 off the meal. Nothing about the whole situation added up and I'm sure to avoid this place in the future, although our second plate of food was quite good.

Went for drinks and appetizers before a theater show...atmosphere seemed great, food looked good online, seemed to have a great drink options...but the service was....frankly, bad. We sat at the bar and the bartender seemed annoyed from the get go. She was like a robot having to "wait" on us. I was scared to ask for anything...especially when I had to tell her there was bug floating in my water...but she took it away without saying a word and set down a new one, again, without saying a word. Take note Flour and Vine...the experience is the most important, will never go back due to this experience.
