Yelp
WHEN: Thursday @ noon
Im a huge fan of flour bakery in Boston. I was in the Boston area, so I checked out this cafe at a large location to wfh and grab a bit.
Im loving the large natural lights in the cafe, it's definitely a lot bigger than the Harvard square n downtown locations. It had marble tables, wooden chairs, very spacious area to order food and wait. There are plenty of businesses around the cafe area, at noon lunch rush, you can bet there are so many people ordering and waiting for their food.
SERVICE
Friendly service as always. Each staff are very welcoming and friendly. They're so working so hard during lunch rush.
WHAT I ORDERED
Smoked turkey sandwich
I'm not a fan of the sandwich, and I didn't know there are half sandwich options. I must of missed it on the overhead menu. The smoke turkey sandwich had a lot of flavors that are overwhelming for a simple turkey sandwich. The sauce was sour, sweet, spicy, a mixture of all, it was too much for me. I didn't expect a classic turkey sandwich to evolve so much. Definitely not a fan of it. I was looking for a classic version of the sandwich for a quick lunch bite.
Im not sure what's been happening, the first time I visited flour in the downtown location, I liked the breakfast sandwich, this time I visited 2 flour locations, tried 2 different sandwiches. It just didn't hit the spot as it did in my first visit.
I ordered more items,
Banana bread
Very soft, banana taste with pecans inside. It was so moist, textures was just right. Their pastries are delicious.
London fog latte
Delicious as well. The cafe got cold with the AC on blast, I ordered a hot latte to stay warm. Taste was on point and I wish I ordered the large. It was amazing!
