The baked goods are fine. They're not great; they're not bad. I tried two different tartines and a citrus cake. Their sandwich bread is acceptable for a baguette style bread. They surpass Mariposa's baguettes which are quite small, but fall short of Pushkin's in Sacramento. The sandwich toppings, alas, were disappointing. The chicken added for $4 was quite dry and in chunks too large to be easily eaten. They were heaped on top an already quite thick open-faced sandwich half with unseasoned mozzarella domed on top. It was awkward. The sandwiches came with a small salad with a curry dressing on the side. It was totally fine and, alas, totally boring. To charge the prices they do for the goods... eh, you have to chalk it up to Marin.

I probably would have gone back if I were in the area, hungry, and not feeling broke. However, the attitude of the staff to my masked face was less than genial and the two sandwiches took twenty minutes to produce when I was the only customer in the store and there were no orders ahead of me. So, probably not coming back. The cake had a sandy texture.
