They don't give you the haircuts you asked for.
I've been here twice, due to the location. The first time, I asked for a medium length haircut, and provided a photo example. I explicitly told the stylist not to move the part in my hair. Well, she did, so my hair never sat right until I got it cut again. Very annoying.
The second time, I came in asking for an 8-length buzz cut. I ask for a buzz cut when I'm not sure about the stylist, because it's usually a difficult haircut to mess up. She told me she didn't have the clipper guard for an 8-length (she should have, this is standard haircut equipment), but that she could cut my hair to 1-inch, the same length. I thought htis would be a fine alternative. I explicitly told her to just cut it to one length, with no taper or fade. She agreed, and then did the exact opposite: Longer on top, and shorter on the sides, so that in no place was my hair as long as she said she would cut it, plus a taper at the bottom. Very frustrating.
The worst part was that she didn't even charge me the right amount. I expected to pay the amount for a buzzcut ($32), since that's what I asked for. Short of that, I expected to pay the amount for a standard haircut ($35). Instead, I got the "medium length" haircut cost ($46), despite getting my hair cut short! This is an absolute scam, and I was furious.
