Had a great time for brunch at Fluid510! Our server Lay was super kind, sweet, and fun to talk to and the team was accommodating to our last minute reservation changes we made. We enjoyed the Steak Sandwich, Classic Breakfast, and Kale Salad with Pork Belly. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and it was okay, not much flavor so I added Tabasco which made it better. Definitely recommend the Bottomless Mimosa as well, the drinks were great especially for the price! Thanks again to Lay for your amazing service.

Came here on a Sunday evening for a comedy night which is located upstairs. This is a pretty big bar, club, and venue space. The comedy club is upstairs and usually comes with a 2 item minimum, which includes food. I got an espresso martini and my friend got a margarita. We ordered the pizza belly pizza that had pork and jalapeños. We also got their chicken wings (Parmesan and herb) with a side of fries and it was really good. Service was great, they have a huge dance floor on the main floor and large bar area downstairs. There are plenty of bathrooms. There’s street parking not too far away and parking garages around the areas.

Bigger space for dancing, they have different cool events happening. Bartenders are hit and miss, some are friendly and nice, some don't seem to want to be there. Very difficult to find parking! Nice little seating area in the front, and smaller room upstairs for different events. Overall would come in through here and there.

This was a great experience. The venue has been done with elegance and style. The food is prepared by one of the best chef’s in the Bay Area and every time we visited, we have tried something different and were always delighted..Custom made cocktails are delicious and look too good to drink .. but you will want more than one. Their staff are polite and friendly and welcoming. Give Fluid 510 a try soon..you will be glad you did !!!

There’s always something different and fun going on. It’s like a great restaurant attached to your favorite nightclub. There is a range of music, sometimes there’s a Bachata lessons, other times there’s comedy shows, one time I saw a drag cabaret. No matter what there is going on the staff is still the same, and some of them have been there since the opening, all of them are very friendly.

We went to Fluid 510 for the Hella510: Oakland Stand Up Comedy Nights! It's held upstairs and was lots of laughs. There were 5 comedians who came up and did their sets. Big T was the host. There's a 2 drink minimum, I had a margarita, my friend had guava margaritas. They also serve food, but we didn't try anything from that menu. They host comedy at this spot every Thursday - Sunday. I would return, it was fun and the location of the venue is right in the heart of downtown Oakland on Broadway close to BART, bus stops and all the downtown shops and spots! Happy Holidays!

Hostile employee profiled me and assumed I was some crackhead/homeless just because I dared to wear a hoodie and jeans with a headscarf, everything else about me gave "showered, smells good, healthy and rational"; I've been here for their mid comedy shows and other events and been less than impressed each time admittedly, and funny enough I remember a previous encounter of me showing up with my best jewelry and MyScene level cute outfit with heels looking like a thousand bucks and getting mean mugged by all the women staff there (so offputting.... like you'd think I walked in swearing, not politely sitting at the bar, ordering drinks and walking to the bathroom with a small wave and smile) But THIS time, whew, this short latino male with a lisp who I assume is the manager came RACING after me when I was headed to the bathroom, and IMMEDIATELY started shouting "EXCUSE ME, exCUSE me," And I don't even get to say "Oh hi-" fully before he says "Yah, hi, YEAH, YOU NEED TO TAKE THAT DRINK OUT BEFORE COMING IN HERE", referring to the Ike's Sandwich drink I had with Mountain Dew in it. The yelling was offputting but I was gonna be fine drinking it quickly outside then tossing the cup, or leaving behind the bit I had left, to be respectful to the business, and I didn't even get to say "Oh I'm sorry, I'll do that", I got to "Oh I-" before he interjected and further yelled, eyes bulging "AND THE RESTROOMS ARE FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY", then jutting out his chin, as if he wanted to swear at me. I rarely snarl or lose my temperment, but nothing like coming to a venue tons of times just to be treated like an eyesore at best and criminal at worst for daring to go to the bathroom first before ordering a drink; and here I was gonna ask if they had any events going on that evening when I came out, since I was gonna go out and come back a lot more glam for a Friday night. Anyway, a quiet snarl and a certain finger came to be as I left out without any more disturbances. Anyway, let's just say the guy had the nerve to try to follow me even DOWN THE STREET after leaving the venue, talking about "Your mother RAISED you better than that, you should work on having some manners", ironically in a much quieter tone than he originally addressed me with. Amusing to see there's a reason this place is rated so low and has a scarcity of people on a Friday evening. It was like 7pm when I was there and only maybe five people total in the huge venue at the bar, lord. Anyway, this place used to be better but has gone downhill over the last year or two and it's very noticeable.

I have been here twice for comedy shows in the back upstairs. We walk through the bar and they always have events going on. The drinks are good. However the events that are upstairs in their attic are very uncomfortable, and when you sit there for over 2 hours everything hurts. Drinks take 30 minutes to get to you. I would go back for other events, but not they are up there.

The food was great! Thankful for vegan options! Unfortunately order was forgotten so it came late and then my drink was wrong, other than that love the vibe!

Really sad to have to update my review but this 1 star goes to the two bartenders in the back by the stage. I came here on Sunday after Pride with a group of friends. After paying a $10 cover charge, we went to the bar to grab drinks. My friend initially ordered 4 vodka sodas and a white claw which came out to $50+. Upon getting his credit card receipt he asked to buy an additional vodka soda for a friend who just pulled up. He was charge $23+ for ONE drink. When asked for the price change the bartender said "it's a double" & he responded "I didn't ask for a double." The bartender shrugged and said "it is what it is." Absolutely insane! The worst part was that it tasted exactly like a single. As it was my turn to buy drinks I went over to the bartender next to her instead. I ordered a whisky coke, vodka soda, & a white claw. I KNEW TO ASK FOR PRICE FIRST. The bartender calculated in her head & said $29. I handed her my card & tell me why I got a receipt for $43!!! Again, these bartenders are ringing everyone up for doubles! We absolutely will not be back & will not be recommending this place to anyone.

I ate the fries and had a beverage. The food was good. The service was good. The ambiance was like a night club because there were dance lessons happening.

came here for an event. cute inside with lots of space. the drinks were really good too. good variety of cocktails and mocktails. they also have food. we got the grilled cheese and it was surprisingly really really good!

I came here with a friend for brunch with high hopes, but left really disappointed with the food. The waffles portion of their chicken and waffles were soggy and wet, the chicken wasn't great either. The french toast was very dry. Overall I was very disappointed with the meal. Service was okay.

Nice venue! Came here for a birthday function. Space is nice and open with a bar and booth/ table seating area in the front half, with a stage / dance floor in the back end. The vibe of the establishment stuck to that "downtown" style, which I liked. Didn't get to see it but there's also a comedy club up in the 2nd floor too which sounds cool. Got to try most of their speciality drinks, as we had an open bar package for our event. Most of the drinks were strong, but they had a good variety of specialties. Food was good, standard bar food, but pricey ($30 for a medium pizza and order of fries + tip). Overall- 8/10. Staff were super nice and friendly. The bar and security lady that was watching the front were the best, special shoutout to them!

This place is to fun and that's before the mimosas hit. Good brunch on the weekends with some trivia as well as good music service is great with friendly and attentive waiters.

Oakland is such a hub of diversity that it breaks pieces of my heart when neighborhood gay bars like Port Bar and Feelmore Social close. Even though it's louder than the venues we most prefer, Jamie W and I settled into this cavernous space on a late Sunday afternoon. Clearly the space is meant for more than drinking. We envisioned a lot of dancing and performing but not by us. We sat at a big banquette where we apparently just missed the last of the food orders. Meanwhile the urban music was getting louder, and now we know how Stella got her groove. It's owned by Richard Fuentes and Sean Sullivan, the same guys who owned Port Bar. I went for brunch one Sunday and didn't realized it was a R & B Brunch event. It was too late for us to make other plans as we have friends meeting us there. Not only was they a cover fee, there was a per person cost for the brunch buffet. The food was not appetizing and I would've much had a better meal at Denny's. Can't say much about the service because we still had to get up and go get our own food at the buffet and being served very minimal. Not to mention a 20% gratuity was included for I really don't know what. I'm glad I got to experience it, but I highly doubt we would go back.

I like this venue that sits right on Broadway. The space is spacious; there's a private room upstairs. I love that this venue has a menu for food and their parmesan truffle fries are delicious. I've also tried their arancini which is filling. I appreciate a venue that has lots of seating available and their staff is friendly and helpful.

Visited this establishment for a Hellasecret Oakland comedy show. We ordered the pork belly pizza and the espresso martini. We enjoyed a multitude of comedians as well as very delicious drinks and great service.

I came here for the Femme Fest event on Saturday 09/28 and we decided to finish off the night here for dinner before leaving. We had just missed happy hour unfortunately, but decided to go for a pizza and cocktail. We got the Mediterranean pizza which was very yummy for me; however, we chose specifically since it did not list tomato sauce, and my friend has dietary restrictions so she cannot eat that, but it ended up having tomato sauce so she was unable to have any. In hindsight we probably should have mentioned/asked about it but it also would've been nice if they had listed that. I got the berry pink cocktail which was really good and had nice fruity flavors. Service was good, we got it delivered to our table, and decor is super cute with the fun neon lighting. Vibes are really fun & friendly :)

Lupe is the rudest bartender I've ever dealt with in a very long time. $27.50 for a vodka & cran is crazy. When I ask Lupe why was it so much, her response was 'YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE HERE ‍'. I was totally floored! I explained to her that was really uncalled for, for you to speak to a customer in such a matter was very unprofessional. Stop price gouging and taking questions from customers so personal. Lupe was super rude and I will not be coming back to this establishment. Sean...do better! Hire more professional staff. WORST PLACE EVER!

Came here for their Sunday Drag Bunch. The show was phenomenal and the vibe was vibing. However, our food order was lost and instead of owning their mistake, both the manager and waitress decided to gaslight me and try to tell me that my order had only been placed 30 minutes prior. I came for a 12pm reservation, my group placed our order shortly after arriving, but we received our food 2 hours later. A better response, or even an apology from staff and management would have been appropriate, I hope they do better next time. I will note that they eventually offered a 10% discount after they missed one of the ppl in groups order and she had to wait an additional 10mins after everyone else finally got their food.

Unfortunately, this was a bust! We went expecting brunch but ended up at (un)happy hour. My daughter and I found them on IG. The brunch they advertised looked spectacular. We were disappointed that brunch ended at 3:00. We were there at 4:00. Thinking the happy hour menu would be just as great, we decided to stay and order. The place was empty aside from the couple at the bar. I should of left then. I don't know who our server was. He never introduced himself. He asked if we wanted a drink to start. I asked for water. He returned with two glasses 3/4 full. It 88° outside. Ice in the glass would of been wonderful but...We asked what the restaurant was known for as far as food. "A little bit of everything. We're a bar, lounge and we serve brunch". I was ready to leave at that point but my daughter was hangry so we stayed. 2 pepperoni pizzas, mac n cheese, 3 shrimp sliders and an espresso martini was the order. All things were small bites. The sliders were the only things "shareable" because there were 3 in the order. My favorite food is pizza. I could eat it every day and twice on Sunday. It was very disappointing. Unfortunately, this pizza was not one that I would come back for. It tasted like pizza I use to eat in the school cafeteria in my elementary school. I definitely did not finish it. None of the food was finished. The best thing, according to my daughter, was the martini. The mac n cheese had to be returned because it was loaded with bread crumbs. That's an absolute no-no for my daughter. The new one that came out looked more appealing and had great cheese pull. Bacon chunks were throughout and so she through it out. Because the menu did not describe what it was made with she was under the impression it would just be that, mac and cheese. Our waiter did not return to our table other than to deliver our water. The revised mac n cheese was brought to us by kitchen staff and our final bill was brought by the bartender. All in all I think our $75 could of been spent better elsewhere.

Great experience with my wife and I. We went to the comedy club and we felt like family instantly. Jalen was the best bartender ever and his drinks taste literally sooo good. Our server was Ariel and she was the nicest and most attentive server. The food was good. I highly recommend this place especially on comedy night.

Looking for a place for drinks after the Black Joy Parade. Fluid had drinks and food and we caught happy hour. The place is great for what it is, just too loud to have a conversation but it is a lounge so there's that. Also the bathrooms are clean. That's also a plus.

Note: Review is for hosting a private event with Fluid510 There's so much goodness and appreciation for Sean and the staff at Fluid510 for all they did to help ensure my (birthday party) event was a success. I could go on and on about ALL the 'under the radar' things they did to make sure it was a great event, but sticking to the highlights of what's replicable/relevant. Value: 10/10 - found the pricing to be extremely reasonable and Sean was flexible in many ways to accommodate as well. The space is gorgeous and it comes with all the necessary AV, etc + having it come staffed saved major headaches. Service: 10/10 - everyone I encountered was an absolute gem, both prior to and night of - it felt like staff were really going out of their ways to make sure folks had a great time. This was such a surprise & delight meeting such nice people. Communication: 10/10 - Sean and his team were on text and planning call leading up in lead up. Aesthetic/Space: 10/10 Absolutely perfect for the dance party ambiance we were looking for. It's just downright cool and has an awesome vibe. Got so many compliments of this. Food: N/A - we opted to not cater through Fluid510 with this being a post-dinner event, but guests did order items from the kitchen and had positive things to say. Honestly, couldn't imagine the event going better. The event was a hit, guests loved it and planning/night of was super easy due to such a kind & professional staff. Genuine gratitude to Sean & the team for making it happen!

Cute place, the service was good, the Mimosas kept flowing, and the DJ was amazing. The food was OK, but the breakfast potatoes were amazing!

My friends and I attended the old school R&B Brunch and a time was had! The DJ was amazing! The staff were awesome! The food was delicious. We had the blueberry waffle with fried chicken, and the eggs, bacon and potatoes. I'm a bacon kind of girl and the bacon was cooked perfectly. I don't usually like restaurant eggs, but these eggs were delicious. Now, let's talk about that crispy fried chicken. I don't even like thighs but those chicken thighs were mouthwatering. The crunch was crunching! Now.. here is where FLUID 510 sealed the deal and will be my go to brunch spot. In a world where it's easy to not do the right thing, especially when the error is noticed after the fact, the ownership of Fluid 510 did the right thing after I was accidentally overcharged. I stopped by the next day and left my information not expecting to hear back, but to my surprise they actually read my note and contacted me about a refund for my overpayment. Top notch restaurant! Top notch service! Top notch management! I will be back!

My neighbors told me this place is new and recently opened. Came here after bar hopping during Pride weekend and it was our last stop for the day. Love the modern cool vibe. Feels plushy NYC, and the high ceiling made it very impressive. There's also a bigger space behind the bar. We came here after the kitchen had closed so we will have to return for dinner and dancing. Definitely a cool place to hangout with friends and family and enjoy a very chill vibe. My Long Island was just excellent. Service was impeccable. Outstanding. We will return. We highly recommend especially looking at their bar menu, they looked delicious. Cheers!

The happy hour is bomb. 10/10 recommend. The truffle fries are tasty and the pizza options are Fire. Drinks are only $7 right now! Come through from 4 to 7pm Wednesday through Sunday!

What started as going to Mad Oak to watch the game, turned into a Mission to find somewhere that didn't have a long line. Walked to; First Edition (they weren't showing the game) Fox Theater (why do you need a ticket to go into the bar and watch the game, please make a separate entrance) We settled on just walking back to this place since we lived the venue set up and originally weren't opened yet. The space is still in its soft opening and grand opening is May 20th! Venue- BIG!! (Yes) you walk in there's a space guessing will be ticket and ID entry with a backdrop with Venue name. You look to your right and there's a beautiful VIP area I'm seeing future attendees booking for birthday celebrations and things of that nature. The main bar is BIG, the lounge area facing the bar is this beautiful velvet L shaped seating that goes from start of bar all the way to the half way point. This halfway point splits in the "club" portion of the venue...also equipped with its own bar. Not as big but a normal bar size. In this back area is an area for a DJ, huge open space and projector screens. Bathrooms are also located in this back half, masculine and feminine options to relieve yourself and 3 stalls in each. Service: everyone was nice and welcoming. The drinks were strong and good, HH pricing is amazing, regular price is average. They seem to have a full kitchen based on their menu and the look of the food served. Overall: I'm excited for this new spot in OAKLAND!! The layout just makes so much sense, decor is beautiful, spacious, and airy. Possibilities are endless for future booked events. (also kind of makes up for that loss:(

Came here on a whim since most places im area are closed. I saw they have a HH so I proceeded to walk in. Was greeted by a very nice laid back lad name Eric who was very welcoming and glad I choose this spot. I scanned the menu and decided on the como, olives and fries, yes I know pregnancy cravings but nah it was a good thang. Eric checked on me and yes normally hes not scheduled to work Wednesday but sid glad he did. Awesome guy and spot.

Went here for an elements party. Drinks were good, vibe was great. We had a great time and will be back again

Horrible place to see a comedy show. I would not recommend. They stuffed us into this tiny room in the back attic and placed a bar on a folding table. Everyone was talking the whole time and a bunch of people were standing in the way the whole show. One of the worst comedy experiences ever. We left early. No thanks.

We made the mistake of buying tickets to their supposed New Year's event. Not only were these tickets a completely unnecessary waste of money as no one even checked them, but the experience itself was terrible. There was literally one bartender making drinks SLOWLY for the lackluster crowd. The DJ was bad: bad choice of songs, bad mix no banter and the completely unenthusiastic countdown happened AFTER midnight. I wouldn't go back to this place on a dare. There was absolutely no food even though it was advertised as part of the "event".

Big, beautiful place, with a whole other space upstairs with (when I was there) stand-up comedians. Food and drinks served both places, though I didn't try the food.

Don't sleep on FLUID510's Happy Hour! I've been a regular here for awhile. The food is delicious, especially the truffle fries, shrimp sliders and meatballs! Love the drinks, but also the atmosphere and friendly staff. One of the best happy hour spots in Oakland!

Had an amazing time at FLUID510's RuPaul's Drag Race viewing party! The energy was electric, the queens were hilarious, and the crowd was loving every minute. The food was incredible, cocktails were yummy, and the service was super friendly. Perfect spot for a fun night out--and a great community to cheer on the queens and to see who gets the crown!

My friends and I went here for the first time today for the Sunday drag brunch, before I get started the queens were AMAZING!!!! 10/10 show, crowd was fun and the ppl greeting us at the door were sweet, the person giving us wristband kept littering on the floor which was not cool BUT our server was terrible and neglected our whole table. We shared the table with 4 other people and they were very frustrated as well, our server was elashane and when she first greeted us she was very kind, but after ordering our drinks (3 shots &mimosa craft) 20 minutes passed by, we waved her down to ask about our drinks and told us it was the bars fault and they were copping attitude with her and our drinks should be out soon, she soon comes back with our three shots then after a bit with our mimosa craft and said she'll be right back with cups. She never came back with cups so we ended up just drinking our mimosas with our shot glasses cos we were sooo over it, especially bc we all noticed the other waitress was being so attentive to her section and they all had drinks coming out quick from beginning to end. (It was buffet style so all she had to take care of was our drinks) As a waitress myself it kills me to leave a bad review but it truly ruined our experience.

Alex was the bartender on duty when we went. He was sweet and friendly! There was another guy too who was serving and assisting Alex, also super nice, didn't get his name. He was telling me that they have a drag brunch coming up, sounds fun! We ordered wings and they come with seasoned truffle fries, yum! We asked for crispy wings and they were on point! I ordered bbq and my daughter had parmesan. It was a Sunday so not crowded. It's a cute space, big dance floor area and a private room for special events. Minus 1 star, restroom could've been freshened up and smelling like cleanser!

Drinks and service were amazing, they kept stuff I had left at the bar this past weekend safe and I was able to get back. They made sure my friends and I were ok from being harassed out on the street before we got there. I will definitely be back for the spicy margarita and good vibes.

By far the BEST place for brunch and great vibes. No matter the event I can guarantee a positive inclusive atmosphere. Manny and Jaylin are the best bartender and their service is unmatched! They not only bring the fun energy but they are both very attentive and respectful.

Call me a tough critic but the food was average. Chicken was juicy but bland, mac n cheese somewhat dry, and flys/gnats everywhere. One flew in my husband's drink and got it replaced. The potatoes was good though. Service and ambiance was nice. Loved the music selection and atmosphere. However, this was one of those one & done for me.

Loved the overall ambiance, service, vibe and decor of Fluid. They now have a new brunch menu that's tasty! The steak n eggs has truffle in the eggs and the chicken n waffles is pretty good as well. But what sets this off is the bottomless mimosas! Oakland needs more brunch options and Fluid is a perfect match for the need! Check this place out

Met up with a girlfriend for brunch. Cute space, plenty of open tables, good music. Service was a bit slow and our food came out at totally different times, almost like someone forgot to input my girls order... we also had the bottomless mimosas because, duh. First one was perfect but each subsequent mimosa tasted like juice. I had the breakfast sammy my girl the nacho fries with fruit both were decent but nothing worth rushing back for.

Came here for the Jush Sundays Drag Cabaret show and it was amazing! I've been to Port Bar many times and I know this place has the same owners so I knew it was going to be a really great experience and it totally was. I LOVED this set up, it's a really intimate cabaret show, you can get tickets online via Eventbrite or at the door, the door is cash only FYI. If you have tickets ahead of time you get first dibs on seats, my sister and I arrived a little after 9pm and got a table right by the stage. They have a late night eats food menu and they come and take drinks orders, it's was super nice! The show itself was amazing! It's hosted by the one and only meme queen herself Jasmine Masters and she's such a delight. She's super funny and interacts with everyone. The line up changes every week so take a look at who is coming, every Sunday there is at least one queen from RuPaul's Drag Race and a setting like this is PERFECT to see any Rugirl! I also appreciated that it started relatively on time and didn't run super late, it was a Sunday after all lol

Food was great! But service was horrible. Music was way too loud for brunch. There was a trivia game going on, but it was super annoying to those not playing. Couldn't hear the people next me without yelling. Had to ask the server multiple times to bring silverware. Hint; scrambled eggs are NOT a finger food. Then I had to ask three times for the check. Maybe this just is the my kind of place for anything other than a to-go order.
