Awesome place! Great service by friendly beautiful staff. Drinks are excellent. Often has live entertainment and I’m loving the outdoor space in the heart of St Pete. They stole the show on Pride parade Saturday. Highly recommended.

Great place to smoke a cigar! Good cocktails, decent food, ambience varies depending on the crowd and music of course… but they do a good job. Service is pretty good, also depending on who you get, where you sit, and how busy it is. The bartenders are decent which is better than average for DTSP, cocktails could be better made for the price though. The food is an improvement over other bar food and they have an above average wine menu. Location is what makes this a top choice. St. Pete has become very hipster and dog friendly in recent years, this location is on the forefront of that movement. Although most of the locals have been run off, you can still stop by here and enjoy a cigar out front watching the yuppies compete in parading their rescue dogs and spending money they don’t have to impress people they don’t know.

Great live singers! The vibes are definitely what you're looking for at this place. Indoor or outdoor, the drinks are excellent and the food is great. Not much of a cigar selection but who cares, you're in a prime location to people watch or vibe out on great live music

Popped in because of the live music drawing us in, wonderful acoustic singer. Had a Bittered Sling and a High West flight along with a Carpaccio that my bf said may be the best he's ever had. Sever was great & we just loved the atmosphere here. Great place to sit outside & enjoy the beautiful night!

Nice spot with inside and outdoor seating options. Went on a Sunday afternoon and relaxed inside while listening to some live music. Our waitress was very polite and personable. Recommended a few drinks my wife really enjoyed. I ordered a Sazerac , a beer, and an E H Taylor small batch bourbon neat. Did not eat here but the bourbon and drink selection were spot on. I recommend giving it a try as we would recommend and return if we were back in town here.

Good spot for people watching. The bar was fun and the bartender was super knowledgeable. They have a great spot on the corner for hanging out. The one man cover band was fun to listen to. Next time, I’ll have a cigar, an old fashion and enjoy the time!

So glad we found this place! Definitely more of an adult experience; perfect for date night-day! It is casual but an elevated casual, which we love! The menu selection is good but not large. The drink selection is fabulous. If you enjoy champagne and caviar this Is THE location. The food is fabulous! The pizza is delicious and the caviar chips are fabulous! Inside and outside seating. Outside seating is doggie friendly and if you enjoying a cigar after dinner this is a great place to be! The service is wonderful.

If I could give zero I would. I rarely write reviews, but our recent visit to Flute and Dram. Carolyn was my server at Flute and Dram left such a sour taste that I feel obligated to share. What was meant to be a pleasant evening THAT WAS MY FRIENDS BIRTHDAY it quickly devolved into an incredibly uncomfortable experience due to the behavior of one of your servers. Not only were we treated with palpable dismissiveness upon arrival, but what transpired afterward was flat-out unacceptable. While we were seated, we could clearly hear a server and bar patron speaking negatively about us -- completely within earshot. The comments were unprovoked, unprofessional, and shockingly petty. It's one thing to be treated with indifference, but to overhear disparaging remarks about your presence, appearance, or behavior from a PAYING CUSTOMER of the establishment is beyond inappropriate. This kind of conduct is absolutely not in line with the caliber of service expected at a venue positioning itself as upscale or refined. It reflects a stunning lack of training, oversight, and basic customer respect. Instead of fostering a welcoming, elevated environment, this bartender chose to gossip with patrons like they were in a high school cafeteria. Needless to say, we won't be returning -- and we'll be sharing this experience with others who value professionalism and class when they choose where to spend their money. Carolyn from Flute and Dram neee to address if this is how guests are spoken about behind their backs -- or worse, within earshot. Do better.

We stopped for drinks on a Wednesday night and there were few patrons. There was live music that was way too loud to be able to carry on a conversation within our group. The music was decent, just too loud. Service and drinks were fine, nothing bad, nothing exceptional.

We popped in for just one drink, and it was a decent experience. The drinks were actually pretty good, and our server was super friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was just okay--nothing bad, but also nothing that made us want to stay longer. It's a fine spot for a quick drink, but probably not somewhere we'd spend an entire evening.

Love this place. Staff is so nice and make you feel special and at home. Great place to have a cigar or a have a bite to eat in an amazing setting with live music every day! Yes live music every day. Popped in on a Monday night and was pleasantly surprised to see they had live music even on a Monday. Although I'm sure the neighbors probably wish they had some reprieve from what seems like an amplification competition between F&D and Tryst next door, the sound level wasn't nearly as bad as on a weekend night. On a weekend night, you can't carry on a conversation as you walk past these 2 places because of the volume. But tonight it was an appropriate sound level and they had the fans on full blast outside. The highlight was the cool fans set up, which would have made for a really comfortable time sitting on the patio, if it weren't for getting inundated with cigar smoke. At the time, there were 4 different people smoking cigars outside, and with the fans blowing, there was no escaping having to wash my hair immediately when I got home because I smelled like an ash tray...which is the only reason I can't make this patio a regular weeknight watering hole hangout.

Had a really disappointing experience with one of the managers during our visit. A blonde woman who identified herself as a manager approached us in a very rude and confrontational way, telling us we couldn't stand in a certain area. Instead of explaining the issue respectfully, she escalated the situation and got into a heated exchange with us. To top it off, she then slapped a magnet sign in the area saying not to stand there -- which felt incredibly petty and passive-aggressive. The whole encounter was unprofessional and left a bad impression. Definitely expected better behavior from someone in a leadership role.

Came before and after dinner and both visits were great. Stephane was knowledgeable and entertaining. Will definitely be coming back

I like flute and dram. I, like the vibe and live music. I feel like the drinks are not very good, especially the ones on happy hour but even the regular ones aren't the best. I used to like their happy hour a lot but the drinks are terrible now on HH and they don't have food on HH anymore. Service is hit or miss but they are always friendly.

Such a great bar by the St.Pete Pier! The service was great and I really enjoyed how they have two sections , one for social and live music then the other side for more quiet one on one type convos. Both sides have bars so you can decide what area is your mood for the night! I had a great time tonight for Rosé Night and would def be back next time I'm in St.Pete!

I love their indoor/outdoor space and the drinks are good. We came here to pre game an Escape Room. It was around 4:30 p.m. on a Wednesday so there wasn't anyone else here yet. The bartender was really nice. I got a dirty martini and my coworkers got whiskey. I'm guessing the whiskey selection here is top notch, since my coworker who chose this place really enjoys his bourbon. I enjoyed my dirty martini. They have a lot of sofa seating outside and a couple of tables. I like that it's covered and the ceiling has fans and it has heat lamps (I know, heat lamps in Florida? It happens that we are having an abnormally long winter so this is one time that heat lamp was appreciated.) I'd like to know how they keep their outdoor furniture so clean, because I am not able to do that. This place is right in the heart of a lot of restaurants/bars so it's a great place to hang out for a night.

Great spot for happy hour! Side outside and people watch while enjoying great craft cocktails, whiskey and wine! Live music also! Small and cozy inside but the outside seating is the best! Right on beach blvd. So you can see the water and all the beautiful people walking by! Great service and knowledgeable staff! The cheese boards are excellent also!

Finally stopped in for drinks after reading about this place. Cool atmosphere. Grabbed a seat inside but looking outside. Pretty good seats actually. To say the least they have an awesome selection of whiskey. Bartenders are top notch. The angels envy old fashioned was so good. The food is good too! We had the Tuna tartar. Delicious. Very fresh.

Came here for happy hour after work. Olivia was our server and she was absolutely amazing. She truly sets the bar at an all time high. Her recommendations were spot on. She was there to address drink refills before the last sip. An absolute gem. Highly recommend her as a server! Their old fashions are great. Lots of great drink choices and they have great specials for happy hour. The food is absolutely amazing. It's like Michelin star quality food. We only had a couple of appetizers but they were outstanding! Good selection of cigars as well, although the two that we had picked are difficult to smoke. We had to continuously relight them close to about 20 times. Duds. I likely wouldn't get another cigar from here. I'm looking forward to coming back here again and again. Very highly recommended!

The service was great and our bartender was very knowledgeable on the different bourbon "stories."

We were walking to the Parkside Grill for dinner when we passed the Flute and Dram, which looked like my kind of place -- a bar that offers a very solid selection of bourbons, a dark wood interior with outdoor seating, and cigars for sale. My wife and I are all about finding a bar with cool vibes and a nice whiskey selection; therefore, going to this place for an after-dinner drink or two made sense. We spent a good couple of hours outside on one of the patio sofas while a musician played his guitar in front of the storefront of Flute and Dram. Situated on Beach Drive, this place has good vibes that lead to good times. I enjoyed a pour of Weller Antique 107 and Four Roses Small Batch Select while smoking on an Oliva Serie V Melanio. The pours for what I ordered weren't astronomical ($16-18 per pour, which is decent for what I had). The bartender was great and attended to us fairly quickly. I would return the next time we stay in downtown St. Petersburg.

You can't find a better place with more wine & champagne offerings, live music, great service, outdoor seating and limoncello cake in all of St. Petersburg. There's at least one live artist each night. On the night we were there, there were THREE. We've had different wait staff and never had a bad experience. If you're in the area, definitely worth visiting. You'll be happy that you did.

The first night I walked into F&D back in 2021 was the 2nd night I had moved into the area not knowing anyone. Wanting a champagne, I walked with little expectations. I was greeted warmly by Steve who welcomed me to a seat, diving into the various champagne and bourbons he had available while he artfully tossed shakers theough the air. Feeling ambitious, I started to ask questions about the area, nightlife and Steve walked me through the crash course of St Pete. I was impressed. His service was excellent, and I felt more at home than any other bar I'd been too in a long time. 4 years later, I'm glad to call St Pete my home, Flute N Dram my favorite go to, and I've met some extraordinary people including Steve who have become close friends thanks to magic of the place and its people. Don't know where else I'd recommend in St Pete for a drink or another wonderful group to take care of you when you visit.

Staff was rude. Not helpful. In my opinion. I asked for a manger and staff said there was no manager

I came here on a Saturday afternoon and was able to grab a stop at the bar. There was a very large selection of alcohol and drinks to choose from. I also really liked their music. Great staff, great drinks and a great atmosphere! Looking forward to my next visit!

My husband and I stumbled upon Flute and Dram when we were taking a stroll along Beach Drive. Their sidewalk sign advertising champagne, cocktails and caviar immediately drew us in. We were hesitant to stop in with our one and three year old boys, but there was only one couple at the bar and the bartender assured us that the crowd would be mellow at 2pm. The interior of Flute and Dram has a cool "man cave" vibe with lots of dark wood and large, comfortable leather couches. My husband was immediately intrigued by the bottle of whisky that was sitting next to Pappy Van Winkle on the bar. I selected a glass of champagne recommended by our waitress. We were both very pleased with our choices. What pairs best with expensive whiskey and champagne? Caviar! In addition to the caviar we ordered a wagyu carpaccio, tuna tartare, and a prosciutto and melon appetizer. We were interested in the foie gras and burrata, but sadly neither of those appetizers were available during our visit. All of our appetizers were beautifully presented with high quality ingredients. The tuna tartare was my favorite appetizer on the menu. I was slightly disappointed that the restaurant doesn't serve any bread and our caviar was served with water crackers instead of blinis (Russian pancakes), toast points or bread. I don't think it would cost more to serve bread from one of the local bakeries instead of boring water crackers from a box. These small details make the difference between a four star and five star experience. My husband and I don't usually blow $400 on an afternoon snack, but we rarely go out since we have kids and felt in the mood to splurge. Everyone was so nice to us and our toddlers and I would definitely return to Flute and Dram!

Found this place by chance and decided to check it out. 100% recommend it. We had a small plate of smoked salmon and one rose champagne flight and a whiskey. I asked for it to be smoked ($2 up charge and worth it)! We then had two glasses of Veuve. It really is about the whiskey and champagne. That and our server was fantastic. Cheers.

Loved this cool little spot on St. Pete! We ended up stopping here after a long day on the pier and beach. We were swayed in by the spacious outdoor seating and live music (my fave ). I'll be honest, I was already pretty tipsy when we got here so I don't remember if they have food or not but their drinks were fantastic! They service was quick and speedy, even though it was pretty crowded for a Sunday night. The live music was such a vibe out on the patio with the Florida sun. A great place for a happy hour or to stop for a night cap. They also have cigars you can order and smoke on the patio!! My man loved that. They have indoor seating & bar plus a large outdoor patio (perfect for people watching) and even bar seating outside as well. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in Tampa again!

Came to here to dance and have drinks.. music was good and my friend spilled her drink on accident and the bartender in the tacky velour sweat suit said she wouldn't replace the drink bc we didn't tip her even tho we did! Stopped in after having a nice dinner next door. They had some nice patio seating, we were a large group but were easily accommodated. It started to rain and we were able to easily shift indoors. Stephen is the best, most talented bar tender downtown. Always welcoming and has a smile. His skills are above par. Excellent cocktails, able to mix a drink better than Tom cruise in Cocktails! Slightly taller and better looking. Seriously!

Not friendly to locals. Not good food, drinks or entertainment. Much better options in the area.

Service not on point nothing to rave about here except outside seating cigars and music. Good patio seating but slow young servers who just aren't happy to be there. Not one staff member approached us with a small. Have a glass of bubbly and move on....

I felt so classy being here. It was the first time I have ever had caviar and it was so tasty! I also love how they have live music at night. Their drinks were also amazing!

Flute and Dram is one a good spot for live music on Friday evenings. Service is usually pretty average except this time. Olivia was very attentive from the moment we sat down, and brought a clean ashtray to the table for my cigar. The R&B band was great as usual kept the party going. Perfect spot for the 30s + crowd.

This place has great potential, but seemed like the "older rich" crowd goes here. It was way too loud inside also, but they do have outside seating. Anyway it didn't stop us... but the bar tender completely ignored us even though there was only like 10 people in the bar. When he did finally get around to us, we ordered a couple of bubbly cocktails, which were super strong! I think he was trying to make it up to us. If probably come back to try their flights.

I decided to stop here for one drink when I heard the live music from across the street around 2:00 p.m. and I kid you not when I say I ended up staying until closing time!! The bartender was so nice, she made us her recommended drinks - The Bumbly Bee - which was a perfect concoction of gin & champagne. I also recommend asking for an espresso martini with tequila & baileys here - it was the best espresso martini I have ever had (not too bitter, not too sweet). They had about 3 different performers throughout the day & they were all amazing! The live music just got better & better as the day went on! I will definitely be coming back soon, it's a great time here!!

I'm updating my review to take a star away. I don't think I'll be back. As much as I want to like it here, to charge $2 for a single large cube when you're a whiskey bar is nonsense and insulting. Single large cubes is what you do at a whiskey bar and I have never heard such a thing. This is my last time here.

Ive never had such a full charcuterie board. Excellent quality and a bargain on Wednesday when wines are half off bottles. Whats not to like? Live music nightly, twice a day. I love that. The house cab was great and the pours are super generous. Restrooms clean. Cant recommend this place highly enough.

One of my favs in st Pete especially for happy hour. I heard it's changing the menu a little along with happy hour but either way it's great!!!! The drinks are really good and the whiskey and bourbon selection is top notch. I love to sit outside and people watch as they pass so this is a perfect place to take everything in and relax on beach drive. I love the bartenders and have always had truly memorable experiences. They are truly unmatched when it comes to variety of liquors and the bartenders are really great at making suggestions for those you haven't tried. You have to try it out you won't be disappointed. Definitely try one or maybe even two of their multiple options of old fashioneds. You won't see that many options on other menus in town.

Yo Josh is the best!!! He was so inviting, and he told us about the menu and served our drinks. His personality will make me want to come back to this place and have more champagne at old fashions anytime. The bathrooms are really clean and the atmosphere was so nice I love this place and I will be a regular for sure!

Very cool place. I brought my sister here who was visiting me and I've been looking to try this plate myself. They have a great selection of wines and whiskies. It was a nice warm day in January so we sat outside. It's kind of a first come first serve situation. They have lounge tables and high tops outside. They have light bites but I really wanted to try their wine flight. To my surprise the wine flights are amazing. You get big pours that left me satisfied and for a great price. I ended with a dessert and had a great evening.

We loved the outside seating so much we went back twice in a roll. Live band on Friday and Saturday nights. Great people watching during the Halloween weekend which made for lots of laughs. Lots of social distancing opportunities outside on the couches but no SD on the inside and no masks being worn by 98% of the inside customers. Even the waitresses don't even bother to wear a mask.

A group of us went to see a guitar player (we had seen before) when we found out he was playing at this small restaurant. I had never been here before, but I have passed by on the sidewalk walking down Beach Drive. There are several large couches outside with umbrellas and there is usually some type of entertainment. Usually one or two people singing or playing an instrument. It's a very small, unassuming place on the inside. On this occasion, we got there early to see the entertainment. We were blown away by the first singer. She was amazing in her vocals! We ordered drinks and a charcuterie board. The drinks were good, the board was excellent! See the enclosed picture... Plenty of meats, cheeses, jam, dried figs, apricots,crackers, etc. We stayed for the guitarist and it turned out to be (2) of them... They were great! We ordered Tiramisu for dessert (a coffee-flavoured Italian dessert made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa). Our server said they make it at the other restaurant that is also owned by this particular one. My only objection to this dessert was that it was frozen in the middle. I wish it had been freshly made. Overall good experience. May try outside on the patio next time.

This place is so unique. Being on vacation that is something you look for. We were casually walking down beach drive and saw that it was the one year anniversary of Flute and Dram. They had specials live music and really friendly faces at the door. We went inside and the atmosphere was trendy and cozy all at the same time. We ordered true champagne which I honestly do not think I've ever had it before. It was soooo amazing and on special. Our waitress even brought us a free glass of sparkling wine to celebrate their one year being open. We had a great time and wonderful service!

This is a nice intimate bar. I have been here a few times with friends - and always have a good time. So far, I have sat at the bar on the sidewalk and order drinks - and never been disappointed. This Rum Flight was pretty awesome, and my friend Kim had the whisky flight. We both came away pleased... The time before we were here, my buddy Dale wanted fine scotch - and new he could find it at this spot. The staff is fantastic, willing to make changes (when time and life allows) and easy with conversation and advice. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a gorgeous part of St. Pete. I spend most of my time further back from the water down off Central - but when I am looking to step my game up a little bit - then the Flute and Dram is a great place to stop in with friends.

Amazing cheese plate, wish there was an option to add caviar to it. Really enjoyed the sparkling Malbec. I got the sparkling malbec and it was delicious. I got the cheese plate it was great. The brie was excellent. However no one gave us the cocktail menu, we did not know there was one. We even asked and the wait staff we had was unaware that there was one.
