Flying Saucer Draught Emporium

I’ve been to Flying Saucer in Garland many times, and it never disappoints! The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about this place. The outdoor seating is right by the lake, making it the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a great meal, and take in the view. Whether you’re here with family, friends, or on a casual date, it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend!

Me and the wife come here often and eat and have a few drinks. They have more beer than anybody around and their food is AMAZING! This time we were waited on by a woman named Sloan, and she is probably the best waitress I have Ever freaking had. She checked on us regularly, was patient when we were undecided on our food order and, was extremely sweet and she deserves a promotion. I hope someone in management sees this.

The restaurant seemed fun and inviting with a great view of the water. We were planning on ordering drinks and dinner. We sat down quickly and got our waters right away. 20 minutes later our waitress had not returned so we were getting up to leave when she appeared. The only reason we stayed at this point was because we told our son we would bring him something home to eat. So we skipped drinks and dinner and just ordered an appetizer and his order to go. Another 20 minutes later we could clearly see our waitress outside taking to two men at a table that wasn’t hers (another waitress brought their food and checked on them while she stood there chatting with the men). We finally asked another waitress if she could find our food. She quickly brought it to our table with forks. The loaded fries had giant hunks of steak that looked delicious but with no knives we had no way to eat them. We won’t be returning. If we had a different waitress who cared more about her job than flirting with men, our experience would probably have been much better.

Definitely not my kind of place. Our service was great by the waitress and she was really nice. Only IPA crap don't expect real beer. Tried what she recommended and it was like every other IPA. If your a hippie or bougie this is your place. Just not for me.

Had a nice Rueben sandwich and tator tots. Great lunch spot with a lake view, next to Bass Pro Shops.

Dropped in to try some different craft made beers. The staff is very knowledgeable about the beers. They have on tap and in bottle and cans. If you’re not quite sure what you want you can get a flight to try some different kinds to find the one you want. Plenty of beer to choose from and you can join their club and try and get your name on a plate on the wall, which is pretty cool. I like the German beers and they have a pretty wide selection of German beers which most people don’t so this was another bonus for me. The food Has your basic food but also has some crafted unique designs from flying saucer which you should try. Located in Bass Pro Food line with all the rest of the restaurants has nice scenic views as a patio overlooks like Ray Hubbard and games like darts, and private sitting areas, makes it a really cool place to bring friends and family watch games or just hang out for the afternoon.

We were greetedly warmly by Joe, the bartender. He told us about the specials and helped guide me through my. Her selection. Poured my husband an Eagle Rare and then we got out food! The Honey Dipped Chicken was insanely amazing and the Black & Blue Steak Sandwich was near perfect! Great location on the lake (even though is rainy when we visited) with Bass Pro Shops in the same parking lot! It was a great stop on our road trip and we will stop by on the way back!

Food was great. Service was great. Drinks were great. However, it’s lake adjacent. Was hoping to sit outside by the lake, listen to the waves and birds and have a relaxing afternoon. But they blast horrible music outside. Could have just turned a fan on myself at home and watched waves in tv. Would be the same experience.
