"This popular Texan chain is home to one of the best craft beer selections in town. Choose from hundreds of beers, including sours, porters, and everything in between — all while downing German-inspired pub fare. Run by sports fans, the owners have lined the walls with many TVs, so be sure to pair some wurst with a stein and cheer on your favorite team. Esteemed guests and long-time regulars can even work their way to the bar’s Ring of Honor, where their names hang in the rafters." - Brittany Britto Garley

I'm not even exaggerating when I say that the hummus here is some of the best I've ever had (which feels rare to say about a bar!) Absolutely the best "bar" food around town. The bartenders are extremely friendly & helpful with drink recommendations. Fun ambiance & a great location in town center. If I lived closer, I would totally attempt the plate challenge Flying Saucer is the perfect spot for a date night, meetup, catching up with friends, or any occasion!

Definitely a go to place for great beer. Sign up to register your beer purchases to earn a plate to be placed on the wall or ceiling. 200 unique beers and you get a plate and a party. Food is above average. We often times order a pizza cooked extra crisp or a pretzel. It's possible to get an off menu plate of bacon if you're not worried about heart attacks. The waitstaff is always excellent.

This was a great place for happy hour. The food and drinks were pretty good. The Buffalo chicken wings were very tasty. It came with carrot and celery sticks and choice of ranch or blue cheese. The burger and sweet potato fries were good as well. The service was a bit slow at times but very friendly. The decor is fun and festive. There are plates all over the walls. Parking was free and easy in the garage nearby.

Wide selection of beers from all over the world and pretty good food. Great place for a group happy hour and hanging out with friends. Tons of craft beers on tap from all over the US and world. Service was very friendly and helpful in navigating the vast beer options. They will also give you a small taste to help you decide between a couple of options. Service was a little inconsistent. Our waitress was attentive most of the time but there were also large gaps in time where she was busy with other tables. Not that big of a deal since we were hanging out of several hours. Decent food selection. We got the burger and that was tender and juicy. There’s decent amount of outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

One of my favorite places! All the staff is knowledgeable about beer and can make recommendations based on what you know you like. They can also make recommendations if you want to try something new. . They have 81 taps, including 3 for nitro beers. Most of the taps rotate, but some favorites are kept year round. They also have a very rare tap for draft Duvel! Plus, the have a row of coolers for cans and bottles. . Their food is well made and delicious. It is also spendy. My current favorite are the hand crafted French fries and the Hot Mama pizza. . If you go, you might question why there are plates on the ceiling. Members of the UFO club get a plate for 200 different beers (no repeats). When they get 200 more, they change the sticker to the next color. After they get 10 stickers, they change the plate itself. And, each 200 beers, they can have a party and eventually other rewards. . It's a fun environment dedicated to a quality craft beer experience.

I’ve visited Flying Saucer before and always had a good experience, but yesterday was a different story. We were a group of over 15 people and simply asked if they could accommodate us. The manager made no effort to help—no solutions, not even a clear yes or no. When we asked if the tables could be rearranged, the manager stood by while we moved them ourselves, only commenting that it was fine as long as we put them back before leaving. There was zero support from her or the staff and one of us ended up with a cut from moving tables. The only bright spot was our server—she was kind and attentive despite the lack of management support. Flying Saucer may be okay for small groups, but if you’re planning to come with a larger party, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

I had a fabulous salad and excellent veggie pizza, along with a great beer that my server Allysen suggested for me. Both were very good. My server, Allysen, was attentive and checked back several times to make sure I was happy with my selections. I would highly recommend Flying Saucer.

We visited this place yesterday as a group of 15. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the lack of effort to accommodate our group together. We heard one of the employees or managers, “I am okay with them moving this benches as long as they put it back before leaving,” which meant that we had to move and rearrange the benches ourselves—both at the beginning and the end of our visit (big/heavy benches). For a group of this size, we expected a bit more accommodating or assistance in arranging seating. On a positive note, the girl who served us was very polite and provided great service, which we really appreciated.
