The interior is quaint, but the dance floor is quite spacious. This venue also has a rooftop lounge if you need a breather. It is a nice club.

I came in today because the venue publicized a “college night” “5 dollar summer night” on their marquee. However, when I went to the front, I came across a very unprofessional “manager” “lead” (I don’t know what to call her), who changed up the fee up to 15 dollars. I expressed to her how the venue is falsely advertising the price to enter the venue, and she rudely responded to me that I should have RSVP’d. VERY RUDE SERVICE. UNPROFESSIONAL.

Are you looking for a fun place to listen to music, dance, and drink? Looking to enjoy the night life? If so, then you're looking at the wrong place. you should "fly-away" from this place. Don't get your hopes up, as there is none that it offers. Bartenders seem untrained. Drinks were either too strong or not strong enough. You can order the same drink the whole night, yet they will all taste different. Fortunately, the alcohol seem to dull the stagnant atmosphere. And if you weren't already deterred by this point in the night, security will make sure to ruin your night as they will kick out anyone who may be having a little fun. No warnings. Nothing. Nada. To each their own, enter at your own demise of fun.

First of all, the security of this venue lacks the basic professionalism and people skills to properly interact with attendees. They act like they're on a power trip and treat attendees like they're criminals. They kick out any attendee without any reasonable reason. In the past month, one of the attendees of an event my crew hosted was grabbed and dragged by one of the female security guards just for simply sitting on the stairs. No warning and no explanation whatsoever. And just yesterday, our performing DJ for the night was kicked out from the venue by a Caucasian, bald, bearded security guard simply because our DJ was in the restroom for longer than 5 minutes. In addition, our event attendees reported similar experiences that same night. The security fosters a hostile experience to our attendees. Management needs to properly train their security guards. Their brash unprofessionalism and forceful behavior are completely unacceptable. I have a few suggestions for management to take note on. 1. Train your staff in basic customer service skills. 2. Train your staff basic conflict resolution strategies 3. Either post a sign in front of the venue with a code of conduct OR have your security give a warning/explanation on why you are kicking out attendees before taking physical/verbal action Flyway security, do better.

So, unfortunately the night I went with my friends, one of my friends unfortunately fell and got a concussion. This happened because there was a spill on the floor that o one saw and my friend slips while dancing, hit the one of the decorations on stage on her head-falling sideways- and unfortunately gained a concussion. The security team instead of making sure she was okay, they escorted her out. While I followed to make sure she was okay I was told "she's already gone, if you go out you can't come back in" the security lady who told me that ALSO had a smile on her face. I was very unhappy with this experience. They had also kicked one of the DJs for an event that was supposed to happen, but didn't because "safety concerns" out because he was in the restroom for too long apparently so long story short. The security team is a problem. And I truly hope it changes.

The security team is really bad and aggressive are they even trained? do they have a valid guard card at all? Why are people getting kicked out for being injured or simply going to the bathroom? Please consider rehiring or retraining. This business cannot run a night club. Take notes on how DBA runs their business never had a problem with them.

My first time here. From a senior citizen view. Every one here we’re out to have a good time. My night was Cumbia style music. There a roof top lounge to hang out. Very nice. Overall my experience was super good.

I didn't actually come to drink and dance, I came for a memorial show for a beloved local musician. It wasn't a somber occasion but a tribute to a good guy who enjoyed ear shredding live music. Needless to say I thought the Flyway was an interesting choice of venue for this occasion. Located near the rooftop in the same building as the Fox Theater, you'll see the entrance off Garey. Parking is abundant and can be a bit pricey if you want to park in the closest lot between the Fox and the bank. I paid $25 because I was feeling a bit lazy. After walking up 4-5 flights of stairs (there is an elevator available) you'll find yourself in a nicely decorated room with wooden floors, couches along the wall and colorful lighting. Got that old tyme speakeasy vibe (but no piano music.) The bar is near where you enter. There were a few hiccups in the sound, probably because this place doesn't seem to have live music that often. Or it was on the musicians themselves (there were 11 bands that played, mostly way younger than I). But overall the sound was pretty good. I always have earplugs in but if I forgot them at home I wouldn't have lost much sleep. I didn't drink anything alcoholic but the bartenders were keeping the water cups going. That was very appreciated because with the amount of people moving it got warm on occasion. They also have a smaller balcony with a nice view of Garey and other parts of downtown Pomona. Would I come back for the nightclub? No. I'm too old for that lol. But another live show? Sure why not. You can never be too old for live music.

Don't have bar seating if you don't want people sitting at the bar after ordering a drink. This place sucks.

I paid for two brat rave tickets recently, and the DJ played 2 half-songs of off brat. We put up signs pleading that the DJ would give us Charli xcz songs but we were disappointed. After talking to staff on the way out, they refused to give us a refund and we were on our way out. All in all, I highly do not recommend visiting this club as it is not up to standard nor do they consider their clients. I truly wished to give the staff the benefit of the doubt but truthfully the place and price is just not worth it. Stay away from this club if you can.

The lady manager is super sweet and professional ! I love that you can order drinks and sit any where and there Mexican candy drink is mouth drooling ! I will be coming with my boyfriend again

Where do I even begin... very long story short, a friend of mine was accused of sexual assault by an another attendee just for moving around her on the dance floor (another friend and I were in the restroom when this happened) This attendee told security who saw her as victim the rest of the night and was threatening to kick us out for the smallest things afterward I.E my friend pressing the elevator button. My friend who was accused of assault had left at this point and the girl who accused her deemed my group guilty by association. I was sober the entire night because the vibes were so negative and the drinks were disgustingly strong. This girl sees me walk her way ALONE to grab my jacket on my way out,thrusts her shoulder into mine and accuses me of hitting her then proceeds to swing at me. I didnt swing back since secuirty was acting as if we were part of the drama as it was. I tell the bald security guard what happened and he just stared at me,silent. The only HELPFUL guard was the younger guy. I told the bald guard to throw her out and THEN we will leave so they do just that. On our way out,my friend tried to use the restroom but the female security guard said she couldnt because she was associated with me who was not only victim but not apart of the original drama. I yelled at this guard to let my friend to use the restroom since she wasnt involved in any way. The young guard happened to be coming up the stairs as I was descending and I politely asked him to let my friend use the restroom since the female guard wouldn't and he made it happen ALTHOUGH the second she came out of the stall the female guard said she needed to leave before she even had the chance to wash her hands. COMPLETELY UMPROFESSIONAL AND INHUMANE ON SECURITYS PART

Pomona clubs I honestly don't recommend. I went with my friend we thought it was ok. But left.

Club is alright, they are very very strict on alcohol. I'm underage and they also kicked me out for holding my cousins cup for her cause she needed to fixed her hair. It gets very hot when inside, Some of the djs there are okay and some of them are good. It depends what days you go, it gets very very packed on friday night if it's not going to rain. Also, get there before 10 or 1030 to be "free" they promote that you will but really you won't. I got there at 10 and I still had to pay. You don't have to pay if you're on the list. But overall it's a good place

Entrence: Free before 10pm if you RSVP on Facebook. You MUST have your own RSVP on your own phone or else they will give you a lecture. After 10pm they charge $10. We came here for the Jaguares and mana live show.. 3 hours passed and they weren't even there or playing that type of music. I didn't really like this club. Dance floor was super small. There was a lot of security guards and people being rude on the dance floor. People were pushing and shoving us and I'm pretty sure it was on purpose. Roof top wasn't that great felt like a patio. Not a good view. Hip hop roof top was small as well. Drinks were expensive and watered down.. Couldn't find parking. Not coming here again..

This place sucks. The Latino DJ was very disappointing. I could see $10 entry, but $20 is robbery. Downtown Pomona in general is wack. Don't go here is you are looking for a good Latino mix. The patio upstairs didn't have any music, and both patios are ugly.

Me and my girlfriend came on February 22 for the Latin trap night. So we were expecting spanish music and latin trap music but there was only like 5-8 mins of Spanish music being played. It was advertised as latin trap music both on the website, Instagram, Facebook etc and it was mainly hip hop in both dance floors. We tried asking for a refund because it was falsely advertised. But was not granted one. I do not recommend this club because of this. It was a bad experience.

Went last night for Rock-It Thursday's Depeche Mode vs. Crystal Castles and our dumb ass friend in my group got too drunk and we didn't want to get kicked out if he puked or passed out on the floor, asked security very nicely if we could take him back to my car so he could sleep and it was no re-entry but they were very understanding and let us take him to the car and let us back in to dance S/o and thank-you to Sylvia at ticketing for being so cool about it! Also the drinks are cheap as fuck compared to other venues! 10/10 had fun and down to come back

Let's start by just saying HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE... the only way I can describe this place in one word is HORRIBLE!!! It was a Friday night, me and my date could not get in because he was wearing a jersey which I found very surprising due to us wanting to purchase bottle service and while we got rejected they let this bum in with sandals and dirty toes not to offend anyone but it was as if he was straight from the riverbed. Which is safe to say this place is no upscale place letting the bum in and not the man with a jersey that is trying to spend some money on the raggedy place. Oh and it's 18+ not my cup of tea having to deal with underage girls trying to get a drink from the older guy just to be sloppy drunk later.

this place was intimate and just a wonderful surprise, there were live performances on stage and in the AIR so cool i like the setting, there was an outdoor patio to chill in the night or you walk in to the performances, i went when there was mcsupernatural amazing! also when there were air performance, lovely ladies doing their things in a spaceship thing the drinks were strong and good, a place to for sure go in pomona, i think its the only spot that has this feel, good music, good drinks, great talent/performances. pomona, what a come up for this to be here! for sure i will be going again!

This place sucks. Thy bouncers are trash and rude and the drinks are gross. They dont clean anything there, and the bathrooms always have trash on the floor. Please go somewhere else, like 340 around the corner or Carnaval. Anything but this place, i swear i got like 10 STDs just from stepping in. Also- THE BOUNCERS ARE VERY RUDE AND PUSHY

Well what can I say.... never again (Unless it's free entrance). My friend and I decided to go out on a Saturday night for a much needed girls night out. Her and I love Club Rock It. When we had the free time and money, we'd go to Club Rock It on Thursday nights at El Carnaval. We loved it! It was our place to be at when downtown Riverside was dull. Upon arrival at 10:20pm we paid 10 dollars. We were excited to go to the new location at the Flyway, for her and I have never been. Upon going up the first set of stairs we noticed the first outside "rooftop" patio playing hip hop. It was pretty dead. One more set of stairs up and it took you to the main 80s dance/ performance area and their outside patio. The main room is extremely small. It's very hard to dance and CONSTANTLY had HUGE security guards going up and down the dance floor. (We found that extremely annoying, for they kept bumping into us) .... The outside patio would of been nice touch if you couldn't hear the hip hop music on the second outdoor patio .... also, the SECURITY guards are hypocrites.... my friend and I were standing next to the building while she smoked a cigarette and the SECURITY guard told us we couldn't smoke by the building and had to smoke on the other side where the glass wall is located .... minutes later there was a guy calmly smoking his cigarette next to the building and the security didn't say a word to him ..... We stuck around for a bit in the 80s section and listened to the cover band of the night, which was very good. After that, it got boring and went down to the hip hop section. It was full of private booths and little tables that left no space to dance. It was somewhat crowded and people kept ordering elaborate bottle services where THE HUGE SECURITY GUARDS kept bumping into us just to walk the waitress through to the tables.... If that wasn't bad enough, the crowd here was very obnoxious..... and had a high school vibe...there was this one weird guy pretending to be a "rapper", lip synching all these words as he stood up on one of the couches... girls were all twerking next to him and in front of him .... it was .... weird .... After that we just left, it wasn't very fun. Limited space to dance was our first complain And the second worst thing at this club is the HUGE SECURITY GUARDS bumping into us all night!

First time and the variety of music is great! Also the security was good. It was a little crowded but other than that no complaints.

I can say by far the WORST club, save your money and do not go here! Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before I had gone and paid 20$ to be there for about 20 mins that's how bad it was ! To start it off we waited in line for about an hour, we get to the front and they hold us there for about 45 min. While the security guards let other people in that they know. They literally walked to the front and because they were cool with the security guards they were in. Then we get in and it's FILTHY, literally dirty so so dirty! It was some sound cloud rappers singing the music was so bad. The restrooms were so bad that I would rather hold it then use one of the rest rooms. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Ghetto, unprofessional, and DIRTY. I repeat, do not go here, read reviews before going!

I spent most of my time in the hip hop area. The scenery was nice. It was outside with a glass balcony. I didn't really enjoy my time here because the DJ could never seem to master transitioning from one song to another. So I'd be dancing then just standing there for a good minute. I ordered drinks from the upstairs bar since the bar in the hip hop section had a small supply of drinks. The bartender attended to me right away and I ordered my usual coke and Bacardi with a splash of grenadine and when I received my cup all red, I already knew it wasn't a splash. I should've requested a new cup but I was hoping I was wrong. My drink didn't seem to have any Coke so it wasn't very tasty. I would rather not come back here due to my experience. We waited over 30 minutes in line and it wasn't worth it.

So I just went last week for the first time because of my cousin birthday he paid for a table ($400) which literally only was two small circo bottles a cranberry juice chaser and an oj juice! Definitely not worth $400 when we were walking to our table there was people already there we had to ask them to please leave the table since we paid for that "section". Of course these girls have alcohol in them already mad dogging ya the whole time there. There were people coming to our table putting drinks down we had no space everyone is almost on top of everyone. The dance floor is so small there's no air ventilation, the bathrooms were disgusting there are only 3 stalls. 1 had no door at all, the other one had a door but it didn't lock, so only 1 working restroom for who knows how many girls going in and out of the club. This is an 18+ venue so of course there's under age drinking happening. People are overserved there was a drunk as guy who could bearly walk his girlfriend was holding him up after he finished puking his lungs out. They did nothing about it, these security guards pick and choose what behavior is acceptable. They talk to people as if they don't matter like if all we are is drunk people acting rowdy. If you can't handle people asking you questions then maybe you shouldn't get into a job that requires you to interact with people. Winston the security guard was one of the worst ones saying you don't even have to talk to them or explain anything like wtf you're a supervisor do your f*cking job! If you're looking to buy bottle service and you want to enjoy the night I'd RUNNNN take your money else where I promise you'd regret it unless your already super drunk and you don't care.

Beware of this club!!! Not only are the security's extremely rude! The security that was African American made my friend so uncomfortable we literally didn't even go in! While this was all happening four girls behind us told us they were leaving for the same reason! We ended up going to 340 and told the security what had happen and even they were shocked!! They really lost 9 potential customers just because the bouncers in the front were straight up RUDE and WEIRD!

I tried going to this place for the first time ever and the lady at the very front was the rudest woman ever Lol. My friends and I tried to get there before 10 or 10:30, whenever it's still free to get in or whatever and we ended up showing up 5 minutes past the deadline- we begged them to let us in for free and they wouldn't and then she said she'd give us five dollars off if we came back in 10 minutes with cash which we did and then she refused to let us in unless we payed the whole amount! It is our fault for getting there late but the way she was acting towards us with her stank ass attitude was not cute sis DO BETTER

ZERO STARS *only rating one star because I have to" Fly away sucks, the other venues were way better! Security sucks!!!! They kicked out my friend because she was "drunk" but yet she was dancing... When this was a night club. Just don't allow 18 and over...if you're going to be eyeing ever 21 and under. All she was doing was dancing, chill. Never going here again, don't waste your money to be honest ... They just take your 10 dollars because that's how bad they need to get paid...

Went here Saturday for DJ Nu-Mark show. It was dope. Good people, good drinks, fun times. If you're looking for a chill place to kick it I suggest here. Sound here is great. It's not overwhelming to the point that you can't can't to the person next to you, but loud enough to enjoy. They range from all different types of music. Hip hop, house, to live bands. So whatever you're in the mood for. The space is dope too. It's on the 4th floor so you have a nice view of down below. They have an outside balcony where you can still hear the music but can also have a easy conversation and its spacious. The inside deco is nice. They have couches and tables to relax at or if you want bottle service. The walls have some old school pics thats fun to take a picture in front of. All around this place is a great place to go to on Pomona.

This is the newest place in Pomona and it has already established itself as the best place to go for drinks, dancing, and great times with friends. The old place was sketchy and sometimes you had fun and other times you wish you just stayed home...not here, they have put some real time and effort into it and it shows from the moment you walk in. The music and sound system here are incredible. It's loud and powerful so that you feel the music but not ever to the point that you can't communicate with someone close to you or cover your ears cause it starts to hurt and get annoying. They vary from house to hip hop and even have live bands performing regularly. My first night here I listened to a cool band that played some super soulful jazzy rock that I really enjoyed. A few nights later it was non stop party music that went from house to hip hop and the crowd never really let up. The people here are also very friendly and fun to be around. I can actually have conversations with people that I just met and keep everything enjoyable. The bar is clean and orderly and you don't have to fight to be served. The entire venue is really clean and it shows because they do a great job of picking up your empty glasses regularly. My favorite part about this place has to be the outside lounge. It's the first thing you see when you walk in and it's very relaxing and inviting. You can have a great conversation with friends, catch some fresh air, and still hear the music clearly even from outside. It really goes to show how awesome the sound system is because you feel as though you're with your friends having a party instead of at a loud club in the middle of downtown. It can't be a perfect review though and really the only thing I have a problem with is the fact that you still need to go down a flight of stairs to go to the bathroom. The only thing that makes that tolerable is that you get to see everyone else go up and down with you and it can lead for some good jokes and conversation. The bathroom guy is also pretty cool but it shouldn't take a trek through the stairs to have to relieve oneself of excess liquid. So the point is this...this is the newest place in Pomona and it's also the best overall spot to be at. It's sound is amazing, the music selection is the best and most varied, and the people here are super friendly and fun. Bring a friend or bring a group and you will not be disappointed at all. Just don't try to hang on the bars, those are for the cool acrobat chicks only and no one wants to see you flop around lol

I came here with another friend of mine on a Friday night and it was actually a good experience, lots and lots of people given that it is an 18 & over club so there's ages of all kinds mostly from 18 to mid 30's ages inside, cool looking atmosphere; there's an outdoor patio also. My only complaint would be that it gets really hot inside, maybe because of the place having full capacity, but overall a good experience, we'll be coming back.

The only good things I can say about this place is the music is chill, the upstairs is even more chill, and I like it when it is free on Saturday before 10. Everything else is garbage. The dance floor on the hip hop floor gets extremely crowded, so there is no room to dance at all. The people and atmosphere are extremely toxic. F*ck boys and H*es run amok in this joint. No one is nice to talk to, or it is just too loud. There was this one really beautiful girl that I wanted to talk to, but I look to my left and I am introduced to her mom. Who brings their mom to the club? The more sophisticated people are the ones on the top floor. I feel more at home up there since most of them are actual adults. They also had a cover band come in which was really really fun. That was pretty much it though. Overall, besides that one good experience I had, this place is awful. Too bad most people that step foot in this club are low class or are complete garbage humans. . . . or bring their mom

very rude unprofessional discrimination they pick and choose who they want to go into the flyway ..discrimination against tattoos and guys that have no tattoos are the ones starting fights ...highly dont recommend this place very unhappy and unsatisfied with their service

I've never experienced any bad service here, so I'm so surprised by all the negative reviews! I go on Saturdays and its free before 10pm with a facebook RSVP and $10 after. They have 80s music on the inside, an indie patio, and a hip hop rooftop so there's a really good variety of music being played, which I love. Overall its a very nice venue with a diverse crowd!

The bartenders are dope! The view of the city is cool. The venue has a speakeasy feel to it.

So I've been here one time two years ago and didn't go to their restrooms until yesterday. And oh my gosh, let me tell you the amount of neglect put in the women's room. The handicap stall door lock was broken, I didn't know because there was a little door stop holding it shut and I didn't think anything of it. Until some girl walked in on me it was soooo embarrassing. The second was simply broken, another had a no door, and the only private one didn't have any toilet paper dispenser and the roll was on the floor ?! (luckily I bring wipes with me). It was a nightmare! Please fix your bathrooms, all my girlfriends and girls were complaining by the end of the night and yet your venue had a restroom attendant in the men's room from what our boyfriend's said. I can't give this place 5 stars just because I had fun. Very unacceptable and was a no for me.

This place is trash af, don't go and waste your time. The security are str8 assholes and not helpful at all, they treat you with disrespect and like your nobody, inside there is not even a place to dance, everyone was pushing and shoving everyone. Music sucked.

This place was alright. I have definitely been to better parties. The thing that did annoy me though was a terrible service. The workers would threaten me with kicking me out everytime i went to the restroom and washed my hands and to be honest it made me uncomfortable because I was just trying to wash my hands. Also the space in there was very cramped and it was extremely difficult to navigate through the club. I give them props though, they actually had a real pole. I would not come again, but I also did not hate my experience here.

They need to get a better selection on beer. Location is okay. Parkin was not easy to find. It's not a spot to go after work to just unwind.

This shouldn't even be called a club. It's filthy and they go way above capacity. If you want to feel like a sardine in a can I suggest you come here. The music was ridiculous, same songs playing every 15min. This is a sad excuse of a club. We arrived at 10:15 because before 10:30 it's free and after 10:30 it's $10 . We waited and waited and waited it is well past 10:30 they say it'll be $10 well I guess that's ok, it hits 11, now it's $15. And my friend who arrived later at like 11:30 had to pay $20! $20 dollars for one person for a shit club that's over capacity playing Thotiana every 10 min. That is fucking ridiculous and did I mention we paid $20 for two beers! I mean what can you expect it's in Pomona but why they have to charge $20 entrance for a shitty club.

First time here bought 2 tickets to see shoreline waited in line for 2 hours got inside till like 1 am and no one performed straight fucking robbery.... the place was so small too and they made me leave my hat by the security guards and when I got back someone stole it.. worst night need my money back

The reason I'm giving this place a 1 star is because the security guards and supervisors are very disrespectful and mean other and are kicking out multiple people for unnecessary reason. Don't carry no vape batteries although they don't have no pods or juice, no electronics. Or they'll ban you for having it in your pocket

Literally the worst. The security guard kicked me out for giving him an attitude. He asked me to either go outside or upstairs. I had to take a phone call for personal reasons and it was too loud upstairs and I could not re enter if I went outside so I decided to take it my call in the stairwell. I told him I was on a phone call but that was not good enough for him. He decided to go on the biggest power trip and follow me upstairs and tell the female bouncer I was kicked out. I think his name was Leo or whatever he was a tall ugly guy with a beard. I have never been treated that way. He proceeded to follow me outside when I got my Uber and whine until I got in. Completely unprofessional I would like to be contacted by the manager to file a report. F this guy. This was my first time coming here from out of town I will tell everyone not to come here. If he gets his sensitive feelings hurt because someone gives him attitude let me tell you this guys fragile ego can not handle the real world. Ha

This is the worst club ever. They discriminate against colored folks wearing hats while letting uncoloreds wear hats. Security touched me all over not even airport security is that aggressive. Very disappointed. Wish I could leave -3 stars.

This place is disgusting & smells so bad! The floor is sooo wet your shoes get stuck to it. The music was good but would never go back. I don't recommend this club.

First time there tonight. Great venue, fairly priced drinks, enough hunnies there to make something happen but the dj tonight was fucking shit. True garbage. 07/29/17 who ever was dj that night should be brought back.

I went here with some friends expecting to have a fun night out and it just was not that . I think I enjoyed the drive there more than the actual event . The pictures on Yelp make it seem like it's this amazing dance club but it is not . It's just a building with a lot of stairs and a couple crappy dance floors. The clientele there was rude and so were some of the workers. The music was extremely low and the Dj played the same songs over and over . I spent $10 to get in and I was better off buying a burger with that .
