My experience at Fogo De Chão was terrific. I was seated immediately by a very welcoming man named Ariel, who started off my dining experience with a much high quality for the place. Very nice and speedy staff all around, and the manager, Margarita, who was just as welcoming and kind as her staff really made my families time here brilliant. Our table also had great help from Jesus and Issam which made our experience pleasurable. The service wasn’t the only great thing as the food was also delicious. The salad bar had a fresh selection of cheeses, meat, salads and fruit which were all presentable and tasty. I highly recommend the Brazilian street corn, arugula pear salad, hummus, and roasted zucchini. The meats shown at my table were all delectable. Cooked and selected to perfection. A favorite at the table was the pork belly with honey. We also ordered a lobster tail which is another recommendation since it was juicy and cooked to perfection. Simple things, like the coffee served to my table and the Brazilian cheese bread had much flavor and love within it. The desserts were also to die for. I will definitely come here again with a much larger party to share this wonderful restaurant!

They were attentive, kind, so friendly and made my birthday experience amazing! Please give them both a raise, specially Kate! She went above and beyond in her service, and was incredibly helpful. Love the HH deals n the seating at the bar. Great place to get quick bites. Validated parking or valet parking. Sign up for membership, $1 cocktails on Tuesday!!! Order the chicken saucy legs with sauce on the side - less calories and great pairing w any drinks.

I recently visited Fogo de Chão, and overall, the experience was okay. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly, but the meat rotation felt slower than I expected, which made the meal feel a bit drawn out at times. That said, Kate and Pamela truly stood out they were attentive, warm, and made sure we felt taken care of throughout the night. Their service definitely made the evening more enjoyable.

We visited Fogo de Chão in El Segundo for my surprise birthday dinner—ohh happy birthday! Ohhh thank you! 😊 I actually got free brownie plus ice cream scoop on the house:) From the moment we arrived, the experience was fantastic. The servers were incredibly attentive, constantly bringing us a generous variety of meats, in this there was chicken, beef, pork, lamb and let me just say, everything was incredibly tasty. The flavors were rich and well-seasoned, and the meats came out fresh and hot, one after another. It felt endless in the best way! They also offered a wide selection of sides and salads, but one tip: if you’re here for the full steakhouse experience, don’t fill up on the salad bar first. Save room for the meats! We opted for valet parking, which was a reasonable $15, but I later found out there’s free parking in the back, so I’ll definitely go for that next time. The wait time was about 40 minutes, yet we had booked in advance which felt long at first, but honestly, it was worth it once we were seated. The customer service and the amount of food made it a truly satisfying night. Highly recommend for a celebration or a meat lover’s dream night out. Will definitely be returning!

This place used to be a solid five stars for us—we were coming here twice a month for three years. But lately? It’s been a slow, steady slide into disappointment. Realistically, this is a 2.5-star experience now, but I’m rounding up to three solely because the all-you-can-eat Brazilian barbecue is still a good deal when you can actually get it. Unfortunately, everything else has taken a hit. The produce quality is noticeably lower, the sides and buffet no longer feel fresh or well-maintained, and the service has really fallen apart. It feels like they’re either short-staffed or just lacking trained servers, because wait times are painful and basic requests go unanswered. We’ve given it chance after chance, but after our last visit, we’ve decided we won’t be back. Sad to see a longtime favorite go downhill like this.

Baseline: For a sit down semi-casual restaurant is the quality of the food, existence of any unique offerings, quality of the service, and value of the overall dining experience. Food: Brazilian churrasco is awesome! Meat after meat after meat on parade for me to love that I am not a vegan. The Market Bar and Feijoada bar are full of great options and, honestly, would be good enough to order on their own. They also birthday gifted me a slice of key lime pie that was very delicious. Service: Our waitress, Amanda, and the head server really made us feel welcome. If we needed anything we did have to flag other wait staff down but Amanda was well informed on the menu, and our water glasses remained full. Ambiance: Fogo de Chao is a nice, well formulated style restaurant that is comfortable to dine in. The seats are sometimes too close together so you have to plan your path to the salad/food bar. It is in a complex that has valet and self garage parking. Clean restrooms.

Came in tonight which is a Friday night the weekend of Father's Day for my brothers birthday. Luckily we had a reservation bc holy it was frigging busy!! It was his first time and oh my, what an amazing experience we had. I think our server made our experience just so amazing. If you don't have Fabian walk out the door.. this is how much I vouch for her SHE IS AMAZING. Really went out of the way with steps of service, we didn't feel rushed. We did wait awhile for the meats to show up and it was a super busy night so I understood... but Fabian check in on us and made sure we got the meats we wanted. She also recommended the pineapple which was amazing that was a first for me! She also explained how the grilled cheese and honey drizzle is what they were known for- how it's Brazilian style.. she made sure we tried some before leaving.... YOU GOTTA TRY IT, If I wasn't so full I would've devoured more of that grilled cheese... Love the non alcoholic clean cocktails too. Tres leche dessert was frigging amazing Thank you for the birthday dessert that was so sweet Fabian and certain people (picanha guy) really made our night Definitely will be coming back!

We've dined at various Fogo de Chao's around LA and have always had such pleasant experiences. Visited this location for the first time with a large party for a birthday. We were seated in the outdoor space and it was the perfect ambiance. The fireplace and heaters gave such a nice warmth in the evening. Food was delicious and the servers regularly came out with new cuts of meat. However, we had ordered some bottles of wine and when I took the first sip, I noticed a piece of cork in my mouth. I then looked more closely in my wine glass and noticed small specks and larger pieces of cork floating inside. When I informed the server, she immediately apologized and took the glass away. However, she came back a few minutes later and said they already poured all the bottles of wine we had purchased so I would need to order another bottle if i wanted another glass. Honestly disappointed since the restaurant had opened the wine bottle which led to the cork inside. I would've thought they'd have made the situation right by pouring me any glass of red wine. I feel even a glass of a lesser wine would have been a more favorable response than the one I was given. It's disappointing to receive that kind of treatment from a well-known establishment.

My dining experience was not a good one at this Fogo De Chao. The salad bar was nice, as usual. Great selection of items! The tabbouleh was spoiled. The Proscuitto was carved very thick, making it like tough jerky. The restaurant needs to work on service operations. The gentlemen who went from table to table serving foods, seemed to not have any pattern for offering meats. Our table was skipped over multiple times (despite the table having our card up on green). It was so obvious, two managers came to our table to ask what we wanted to eat. Three different servers apologized for the bad service. We asked for grilled cheese and honey 4x and it finally came (20 minutes later) when we flagged down one of the attentive servers who served our table. Wait staff asked to change out our plates 3x during our meal *while* we were eating (food just put in our plates) and never brought us fresh plates. I had to get my table fresh plates from the salad bar 2x. Two servers were walking around eating while serving food to customers. One lady server was eating a chocolate bar. One lady was eating something that looked like from the back kitchen. This is a health department violation. The meat selection was typical of the Fogo De Chao chain. But all meats, excluding the lamb had absolutely no taste or flavor. I gave up eating after 20 minutes of eating. I typically enjoy going to Fogo De Chao. Unfortunately this location was a big disappointment. I'll stick with the La Cienega location!

Fogo de Chao's MARKET TABLE & FEIJOADA BAR for $18 is a pretty good deal. It's light on the selections, but the quality is top notch. The soup are pretty good too. Compared to dinner at 37.00 is incomparable. May fav today was the smoked salmon and cheeses. I feel like I can really filler up with some great charcuterie selections. I can't wait to see what offerings are on the table next time.

This was my first experience dining in at Fogo De Chão. Went with my sisters, we had a reservation for lunch. Easy to find the restaurant and parking structure is behind it (which you can get it validated). Valet parking is a $12 charge and it's at the front of the restaurant. We were greeted with a warm welcome and we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Once we sat down, we helped ourselves at the salad bar. Different types of salads, cheeses, fruits, etc. I got a little bit of almost everything so I could try it. Our server took our order of drinks and we were wondering why no one had stopped by with the meats. We weren't given the green/red card so we asked the server and they handed one to us. We finally had them come around with the different selection of meats. Some were dry and tasteless and some were flavorful and tender. My fave was the lamb chops. I then had a dessert afterwards. (Desserts are an additional charge). Only disappointing part of the experience was we had to call for a server to help us every now and then. They didn't come and check on us like they should. Which I found it to be odd. But one server in particular was nice and attentive (I forgot her name). Other than that, for the price is descent for the experience and food. It was very open during lunch. Almost dinner time was when it started to get crowded. Next time I will try having brunch and see for myself. But all in all, service could've been much better and it's good to dine here on special occasions in my opinion, as far as pricing goes.

Fogo de Chao - THANK YOU for supporting military and veterans These are the restaurants I return to take friends and families to DINE. Service/friendly workers are the reason I go here. Gaucho Louise was very pleasant/happy and introduce Chimichurri sauce that's better than mint. The meats and now cheese bread are a bit too salty. I brought it up to the female manager to look into. She said request can be made to the gaucho to put less salt, but some meats (beef ribs) were already salted to be ready during my dining. If other reviewers find it salty, pls bring it up to manager to take into account so it will not show as isolated case/corrected. Wish the skin on the kiwi can be removed before slicing, the steak knives are bulky/dull wastes more of the fruit. Papaya is available now, maybe season? Dessert, don't skip it! One of the best selections available in the area actually. If full, it can be package to enjoy it later. Key Lime Pie is tarty/sweet. Parking is free for a certain amt of time, but don't go pass the time limit even by 1 min else it's about $4 for every 15mins over.

Came here for lunch to celebrate my sisters birthday! For parking, there is a structure behind the restaurant. For lunch you can get 90 min free w/ validation & for dinner it's 2 hours. Don't forget to get it validated before you leave! We did lunch with the $18 all you can eat salad bar + $10 for 8 oz of picanha. The servers come around with the meat & carve it in front of you. The salad bar had a nice selection but nothing really stood out to me. I think it's a little pricey for the types of food they have at the salad bar but maybe you just need to eat a lot to make it more worth it. The meat was good, the second round was more flavorful than the first. The mashed potatoes were good too, but the plantains were amazing. I don't even normally like bananas/plantains but I want to marry these bananas. It reminded me of banana bread. The service was great. Very friendly, attentive workers. The inside is also very nice & clean. They even gave a free dessert for my sister's birthday!

This fogo is soooo much better than the Beverly Hills location. Food at the bar takes forever and a half but it's worth it. The hummus came with tomatoes, olives and feta here whereas Beverly Hills was straight up the hummus sans toppings. The burger was seasoned. There's outdoor seating here too which is nice.

He made sure we got all the meats we wanted, our drinks were refilled without asking and he was so funny!!! He kept our party entertained!!! The food is amazing and I would come back again! Having had Fogo de Chão experiences twice in two different states, I had a certain expectations. This was the first time partaking in on a Sunday Brunch and the experience was mostly well as expected, though some areas of service was lacking. RESERVATIONS is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as this particular location was quite booked. We did reserve it through their website, which was pretty simple, and they have access to that information on their end. Unfortunately we made our reservation two days in advance and didn't check the date correctly so it was for a Friday; however, they asked us to wait a few minutes, and we were able to still be seated quite promptly - which was appreciated! The Sunday Brunch includes the wide selection of meat carvings (beef, pork, chicken, lamb, sausage) and salad bar, which was pretty extensive. Upon being seated, we went to the salad bar to start on our pre-course meal. Meat servers promptly came around and offered us varieties of cuts - which were delicious! As long as you have your "meat coaster" on green, they will continue to come around and serve you their selections. This was also for a birthday, so they gave my birthday guest a complimentary dessert (we went with a Dolce de Leche cake recommended by our server, and it was truly decadent!), presented beautifully on a hand written "Happy Birthday" charger plate and a candle, concluding our delicious brunch, with a lovely memory! -------------------------------------------------- LOCATION. The restaurant is in El Segundo, on the corner of Rosecrans Avenue and Apollo Street, opposite a 24 Hour Fitness. PARKING. This location is right off of a busy Rosecrans Avenue where street parking is not available. They do offer valet service at a $12 flat fee, which is not the only option to park your vehicle; however, likely you will have to park your car a bit of a distance otherwise on Apollo Street or Nash Street. Be sure to tip your valet driver upon your exit! SERVICE. The hostesses were really great accommodating to our reservation mishap, and it was promptly addressed! Also, we came in around 1:30 PM - and technically their brunch service ends at 2 PM, but we were told that there's no issue with us staying longer, though their dinner service will start at 2 PM. PROS. Selection of meat carving and variety was great; however, we never saw any filet mignon come around which was disappointing. My guest especially enjoyed the lamb chops and I enjoyed selections of steaks that were medium well done. We enjoyed the Salad Bar of selections, fruits, and cheeses - as well as some hot Brunch choices. CONS. Once we were seated and had our turnaround at the Salad Bar, we waited quite a while before we were served any water or any of side dishes, including the famous Pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread). We actually had to flag down the passing by waiter because no one came to check in on us, which was surprising. We went through three different servers, as the first server "disappeared" after providing us our drinks and the side dishes, but our third server Marilyn was fantastic - right on par with the service experience I expected from Fogo se Chão. Also the Women's BATHROOM was flooded. The handicap stall had a well of water underneath, and it was not draining. They were aware of it we believe as we saw the yellow caution cones, but the waters were flowing into other stalls as well. I almost slipped while using the stall that was available - next the handicap one. I made this aware to the hostess of the possibility of a slip and fall. Surprisingly, she had no idea this was happening and promised to address it to the manager. PRICE : The Sunday Brunch is $47.50 per person, including the Salad Bar. Drinks and Desserts are additional; however, the Birthday dessert was complimentary. Children 7-12 is 1/2 price and under 6 years of age is Free. [INTERESTING TIDBIT: They also make dietary 1/2 price adjustments for those who had gastric bypass surgery - you need to provide proof]

Had an early dinner with my wife before the Luke Combs concert. The food was good but the service was even better. I was very impressed with our server Matt and a Hispanic female who was also helping him. I was just as impressed with the staff Aiden and Marcellus who were replenishing the food at the bar. I sat right by the bar and watched them work continuously on a busy Father's Day weekend. Overall, this was a great experience and we will be back again when in town.

On Saturday, 10 of us celebrated my graduation at the El Segundo location, and it was great. We started with cheese breads and a salad from the salad bar. The picanha and the rib eye were definitely my favorite cuts the gauchos brought, seriously good. In terms of desserts, the table ordered cream brulee, tres leches, chocolate molten cake, and chocolate brigadeiro. All were good, but the brigadeiro was my favorite! Isaam, Troy, Fabian, and Margarita made our experience complete with excellent service and attention. Thanks for making my day!

Food was really good and our server Issam was a really cool dude who made it an even better experience. All the meats were extremely juicy and cooked perfectly. Don't sleep on the non-beef dishes, the lamb, pork, and chicken were all great. Bonus: The carajillo (coffee drink off the dessert menu) was 20/10, would drink these infinitely and still paired well with dinner.

Okay here me out lol I had a good time!!! And my server Samuel really MADE the experience. But ... I think you can get better food and ambience at other restaurants for the same price. This was my first visit to Fogo de Chao. I've always heard so many great things! I love fine dining so my bar of expectations are pretty high. Parking was easy and free! We were seating right away. The staff was all lovely! When we were seated our wonderful waiter Samuel gave us the run down. We headed to the buffet area to get our salads and other small dishes. Immediately I noticed the dishes provided were still wet and had residue on them. Ok whatever no big deal. As I walked around the buffet I was not impressed by their options. They were ok but nothing really stood out. I enjoyed the meats served throughout dinner but again nothing stood out. My favorite thing was the fried cheese with honey and the desserts. On the way out I saw a table being offered chicken which never came across our table. Again, Samuel really made the experience. I had a great time surrounded by friends for a friends birthday! But next time I'd opp out for Dear Johns, Musso & Frank or LA Prime.

Thanks to: -Maria -Wagner I visited Fogo de Chao for the second time in 2024 and I was impressed by the excellent service and the delicious food. Maria was attentive and friendly, and our gaucho Wagner brought us a variety of succulent meats cooked to perfection. The salad bar was also fresh and diverse, with options from different countries. The highlight of the meal was the grilled pineapple, which was sweet and juicy. It was so popular that they ran out of it before we left, so make sure you come early if you want to try it. Fogo de Chao is a great place for a special occasion or a group outing, as you can enjoy a cultural dining experience of discovery and indulge in Brazilian steakhouse cuisine. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back again.

This is a bigger location and found it to be busier than others so our drinks took some time to come out but meat came to the table very fast. Drinks were great and dessert was delicious. The desserts are huge so take that into mind when ordering. big enough to share. Thank you Issam for your service! adriano and Luis were also very attentive. will be coming back again

My family came here for lunch for my birthday, and it was excellent! I made a reservation through Open Table, which I recommend doing since our table was ready upon arrival. We all got the Market Table & Feijoada Bar, with the Picanha (Prime Top Sirloin). It's sooo much more worth it for lunch compared to dinner. We decided not to do the "full experience" which comes with all types of meat, since we mostly wanted to have the Picanha anyways. To the Market Table, you can add 1 type of meat, around 8-10 oz. So, we all got the Picanha. It was a little confusing on how much meat we were supposed to get because when I went there before, they gave all the meat at once in 1 round, but this time, we were given a very small piece of the meat and they never came back. Then they brought out the rest of the portion once we asked. The service was very good. Our waters were always filled and they were readily available if we needed any of the table sides, which were the Polenta, plantains, mashed potatoes and the cheese bread. The mashed potatoes pair SO well with the Picanha. Was definitely very satisfied! The Market Table & Feijoada Bar has great selection. There was a huge variety of cheeses, meats, and fruits or veggies. I appreciated how the fruits felt special since they aren't the typical ones found at the grocery store. They had tons of tropical fruit, ranging from star fruit, dragonfruit, papaya, kiwi, and pineapple. Our waiter was soo nice and gave a complimentary crème brûlée with fruit for dessert for my birthday. It was SO tasty, and the fresh fruit on top added so much! The portion was very big too. There is a parking structure & they can validate your ticket. Lunch comes with 90 minutes free parking with validation, and dinner comes with 2 hours free parking with validation. Definitely pricey but I do recommend for special occasions!

Food First of all, the little starter buffet in the center is really good. Some good choices like charcuterie cuts, salads, etc. The real highlight of the place is the authentic churrascaria steaks where you have 16 choices of meat(chicken, lamb and beef) that come to your table. Most of the choices are really good, tender and flavorful choices of meat. Some choices were a miss though like the garlic picanha which tasted of burnt garlic and was really tough. The price of 67.50 is a bit steep since its the dinner pricing but i thought it's okay given the overall experience. Service/Ambiance The servers and staff were super nice and service was quick when i asked for something. The ambiance was this vibe of a fancy restaurant which is good considering that we were celebrating a birthday. Overall, i'd recommend this place for special occassions

First Brazilian steakhouse experience and it was enjoyable. I did the AYCE to have unlimited access to all meat selections and salad bar. The salad bar had a variety of salads, roasted vegetables, fruit, soup, and cheeses. The servers constantly come around with a variety of meats including different cuts of beef, lamb, sausage, and chicken. The meats were good but I expected better cuts and quality.

Came for my MIL's birthday brunch. Fogo has taken over the old McCormick's and Schmicks location and it smells like they also took over their water damage. The entire restaurant smells like moldy old wet towels. It was so strong that it was hard to focus on having a good meal. My son was having an especially bad toddler day; looking back, was it the smell that he was so bothered by? Towards the end, it was giving us all a headache. It's sad because the staff is trying their best and the food isn't bad. I saw another review where this was an issue 6 months ago, and looks like they still aren't doing anything about it. If you are the manager, please don't reply to this review with an offer to come back at a discounted price. Until the smell is fixed, we won't be back! Maybe it was the carpet??? Not appetizing at all, and we were super disappointed because we were looking forward to trying Fogo for the first time. Sad!

First time at this location. Came to celebrate my Aunt's birthday and this was her first time here, period and she loved it. Quite a few birthdays were being celebrated yesterday. My favorite of the cuts was the garlic steak. Delicious. The chicken was a bit dry but nicely seasoned but I was stuffed by the time it came around. Our server Phoebe was attentive and the so were all the carvers. They hooked it up. Anytime I asked about a particular protein, they made sure it was the next one out. And while I didn't drink, I loved the refreshing pineapple lemonade. I already miss it. I was stuffed but the Açaí Cheesecake was amazing.

My husband and I came here for brunch for a late celebration. We had a reservation. When we checked in, there was an another couple who came right after who did not have a reservation. The hostess told us to wait a moment. After more than 5 minutes, the couple who came after us and had no reservation was seated first. We were then waiting a couple more minutes after to be seated. The food itself was great; however, the initial service did make the start of a meal a bit upsetting. The meat themselves were delicious. Unfortunately, the meat selection that we were specifically looking only went around 1-2 times, so we would have to specifically ask if we could have someone come with the meats that we wanted. On top of that, I had finished my water early in the meal and had waited for more than 30 minutes for it to be filled. Fortunately, a different waiter (a woman with blonde hair-- I forgot her name) than the one who introduced themselves took her time to be attentive with us. I've been to other locations and the food and service was wonderful. However, my husband and I will not be returning to this location due to the lack of attentiveness by staff.

I came and got the churassco experience. It comes with the choice of 14 meats, 4 sides, and access to the buffet. The service is really great. They walk around with the meat you can choose. If you're too full or need time to eat, you can flip your coin that they put on top of table and put it on the "no" side. If your coin is on the "yes" side, they'll always ask you if you want a piece of the meat. The buffet is incredible. It is such a huge spread of food and there so much variety. You could get full from that alone. The meats were ok..i like how you get to choose from 14 meats but they were too salty. The sides were good. The cheese bread was delicious, the crispy polenta was eh, the mashed potatoes were nice and smooth, and the caramelized bananas were nice and sweet. For the desserts we ordered, I would not order the key lime pie. The graham crust didn't have any flavor and all you tasted was the tart of the lime. You couldn't taste the sugar or condensed milk that is in a traditional key lime pie. I would definitely order the crème brûlée. It was one of the best ones I've eaten.

Wednesday 11.29.2023, Reservation time 07:00pm Updating my previous experience here at this location from 10.18.2023. General Manager Marco DS requested that I give his El Segundo Restaurant location another chance, "so I did." Arrived at the front desk to check in for my reservation. I was greeted and seated. Was properly introduced to the menu and salad bar option with great energy. Waiter took our drink orders, and we flipped our Meat Cardboard Tabs to green (Indication: Yes Please). After a few seconds, the Servers came down giving us multiple meat options to choose from. From Filet Mignon, House Steak, Chicken Etc! I was impressed with the selections and the service given. The servers were neatly presented, and attitude was professional while serving the provided meats. The food was delicious as always and the drink beverages were all so fresh and crisp. Very tasty! It was day and night from my previous experience here at this Fogo De Chao. The service was excellent! I highly recommend this place to someone that loves to eat meat! Salad bar was exceptional as well. Well-deserved 5 stars!! "Restaurant was nice and clean." Plenty of parking, with option to Valet. I came here with my sister on 9/10/23 we celebrated me officially being a licensed therapist. We greeted immediately and seated fairly quick. This place is huge!!! I seriously loved it. They had their cold buffet table and of course the meats just walking around. We ordered drinks which was delicious. The staff was amazing! It was so clean inside . Smelled good and ample selections of greatness ! My favorite meats were the lamb. The lamb was so good and the chicken was delicious. It appears everyone was having such a grand time and we had a good time!!! The food was so good, the atmosphere and customer service !!! Dessert was tasty as well. We split it as we were both full! We would definitely be back.

Lee the guy serving cuts and manager Margarota elevated the experience. Without them it would have been a 4 star experience. Lee regularly visited the table and was extremely personable. Margarita made her rounds making sure no unnecessary plates were on the table and that we had plenty of everything. Food quality was phenomenal and everything was fresh. All the staff worked well together and they made the experience unforgettable. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food at Fogo has never disappointed but I've had issues with service at some locations. When I arrived on a busy Friday evening I was worried that it would be a wait for meats to come. Despite it being a packed house our group of 5 got seated promptly and our server was friendly and attentive. We had a child in the group and while he was very well-behaved it can be difficult for staff to deal. Half of the adults were in on the meats and the others decided on just the buffet. I was one of the meat folks and I never had any difficulty in getting any of the gauchos to come by but when I also requested a certain cut to revisit it arrived very quickly. I'm so glad that there's a Fogo in the area and if my experience is any indicator, it will be around.

I recently had a mixed experience at Fogo de Chao in El Segundo and wanted to provide an update on the service I received. A few months ago, I had written a review expressing my concerns about the slow service I had encountered on multiple occasions. To my surprise, Margarita, the store manager, read my review on Yelp and reached out to me. She wanted to ensure that I received the best service possible for the money I spent at the restaurant. Margarita was able to address my concerns and rectify the situation. However, during my most recent visit on Friday, 5/10/24, I experienced slow service again, specifically with the meat service. Despite requesting the beef ribs twice, it took over 35 minutes to receive them. When the ribs finally arrived, the quality was disappointing as they were rubbery and difficult to chew. Although I didn't want to cause a scene at the time, I made sure to inform Margarita about the issue after paying the bill. She was genuinely mortified and assured me that the next time I visit, I should make reservations directly with her. This was comforting to hear as I do enjoy the food at Fogo de Chao, but sometimes the meat service falls short of expectations. I am thankful that Margarita is the manager at this location because she genuinely cares about her customers' experiences. If you have any concerns, I highly recommend reaching out to her as she is attentive and committed to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Alright, final update for FOGO in El Segundo. We returned to give it another shot and I would say we had a much better experience this time around than last. We were early to our reservation by 10-15 min but unfortunately they couldn't seat us early even though there were reservations available still at the time we were there. But that wasn't really a big deal. We sat towards the back which was kind of like a secluded room from the rest of the restaurant. Which was fine but just a bit cold back there. For the first 10-15 min of sitting we only had 1 meat come to the table and we thought "oh god here we go again!" But they started bringing more and more and to the point where they started asking what we would like to try. The meat was a lot better this time around as far as saltiness. The first time everything was overly salted. Maybe the chef that night was just feeling salty. But this time around it was good. Only reason for the 4 stars is we were celebrating my birthday and we informed our waiter/waitress when we first day but half way during dinner our person changed so I think they didn't pass along so didn't end up getting the cake or dessert it is they bring out for that. We didn't remind them because we were stuffed. But just a small detail that was missed. Other than that we had a much better experience.

We made a last minute decision to meet for dinner. I called to make reservations and we were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately when we arrived. The restaurant has perfect lighting and seating is perfectly spaced. Issam was our server and he was very attentive to our table. He explained how the meals are served and answered questions and he made sure we enjoyed the service. Ramon was a joy. He ensured our table was served a variety of meats approached our table with a smile each time. He suggested items for us to try and he has a great personality. Majority of the meat that was served was well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and delicious. Some items needed to be cooked longer on a lower temperature. The outer was chart but the inside was almost raw. Overall we were served ribeye, garlic steak, filet minion, chicken, bacon wrapped chicken, lamb chops, cheese with honey, grilled pineapple, bottom round.
