Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

I had an absolutely amazing time at Fogo de Chão in downtown Manhattan. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout the entire evening. The level of attentiveness was remarkable – they checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive, and you could tell they take pride in providing exceptional service. The food was spectacular. Every cut of meat that came to the table was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. This is probably some of the best food you can have in the city. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want an exceptional meal, I highly recommend Fogo de Chão.

The salad & appetizer bar was cold only, which was underwhelming. We had the indulgence churrasco experience which offered a butter bathed lobster tail, USA fries and cooked banana. The lobster tail was not bathed in butter and came out dry as a bone. The star of the night was the filet mignon wrapped in bacon. All of the meats were juicy and savory. The servers were polite and attentive. The World Trade Center location decor was beautiful and elegant. The drinks were great as well. Depending on your taste level, this might be for you. Just a no for me.

I had such an amazing experience at Fogo de Chão NYC! The food was absolutely delicious, all of the utensils were spotless, and the Market Table was fully stocked and beautifully maintained the entire time. We did the full Churrasco experience and everything was incredible. I especially appreciated that even after I flipped my card to “No Thanks” because I was full, the gauchos still kindly checked in and gave me the option to grab a piece if I changed my mind. My mom still had her card on “Yes Please,” and they handled it perfectly without rushing me or turning me away like some other locations sometimes do. Even when you’re full, you might change your mind and they understood that! Rogelio was our server and he was amazing. He had great presentation skills, was extremely polite, and checked on us the perfect amount, he was attentive without being overwhelming. It made the experience feel relaxed and special. Another gentleman, Leandro, truly made our time unforgettable. He asked what brought us to the city, and I shared that I was taking an exam to get my nursing license. He surprised us with a cake, a candle, and the sweetest message written on the plate. That level of kindness and thoughtfulness meant so much to me. I’ve been to all of the Fogo de Chão locations in New Jersey, and I can confidently say this NYC location is the best out of all of them. Such a unique and memorable experience. Thank you for the incredible service and kindness, I will definitely be back!

Great steak house with an impressive variety of salad bar options and unlimited cuts of fresh, delicious meat. It definitely gets busy, so expect a lively atmosphere. The quality is consistently good, and the steaks are served fresh. The cuts are generous and well-seasoned, making it a solid choice for anyone craving a proper all-you-can-eat experience. Special thanks to the management team, they made me feel at home. Pablo was an excellent server, I enjoyed my last visit on February 2026

I've been to a lot of Brazilian steakhouses all over the nation. I REALLY enjoyed my time here at Fogo. Pablo was a VERY kind and attentive server, my water was never empty (and I'm a camel, so that's saying something), the meats were amazing and cooked to perfection. Also, the creme brulee was ridiculously creamy and delicious! Just a lovely experience! I can't wait to come back!

Did a date night with another couple. Great ambiance. Very good drinks. I had the cucumber mint smash, my girlfriend had the passionate caifirinha, and the men had the gold rush and then old fashions. All 4 of us opted for the indulgent churraaco. We loved it. So many options at the salad bar and the meats were tasty and seasoned well. We also loaded up on the cheese bread. OMG! so good. I just would have loved them to be more attentive as they were slow with the drinks and it was not very busy.

We came to this Fogo de Chao again, this time we came for a pre-thanksgiving meal and it was just as amazing as last time, if not more spectacular! Amariah, Rafaela, and Rogelio made our experience here lovely 🥰 they were so friendly and attentive :) Adam was also great too! He brought lamb chops every time we requested them, he was very nice and attentive! Everyone here is so incredible, I really thank them for such an amazing dining experience!

I stopped into Fogo for lunch, and more than half the tables were open when I arrived. I was dining alone, yet the hostess insisted on seating me between tables with larger parties, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Because of this seating choice, I could only order small bites from the bar. The service device was cold, and although the manager walked past me several times, he never acknowledged me. While I waited over 20 minutes for my chicken sliders, I watched other parties seated at the bar arrive, order, and receive their small bites in under 10 minutes. That contrast was a red flag—the service felt subjective and inconsistent, influenced by factors that had a noticeable impact on my experience. The space itself felt unwelcoming and flat. I’ve been to many Fogo locations, and this one was easily the most underwhelming. The restaurant stayed empty for the entire hour I was there, confirming that they could have honored my request for a table away from other groups. The chicken sliders were good, but had I known the service would be so poor, I would have chosen Eataly instead. If you’re looking for an unwelcoming atmosphere, Fogo fits the bill. But if you’re a patron who cares about where your money goes, you’re better off dining elsewhere and leaving this experience to the tourists Fogo seems most focused on attracting.

Review #600! I was so excited to come here for my solo Holiday Dinner on 12/17/2025! I made a reservation for 7 pm and was accommodated despite the front area of the restaurant closed off for a private Christmas party. I was seated right away and was given the menu. I had my heart set on Pork chops so I went with that along with Lobster Mac and cheese and the Lobster Tail. This was my first time at a Brazilian steakhouse so I didn't realize how much unlimited meat you receive despite specifically asking for a particular meat. After going to the salad bar (twice) I was able to have chicken and pork chops. For my drink I ordered the Passionate Caipirinha (10/10); it was strong and sweet. The Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirinha was actually too sweet for my liking so I was able to return it for no charge and got another Passionate Caipirinha instead. By the time it was time for dessert, I was too full. The food was absolutely delicious and satisfying. My waiter was attentive and kind. I loved my experience here and will definitely come back to this location and give the Downtown Brooklyn location a try as well.

I've been a Fogo Rewards member for some years now and travel around the States visiting a restaurant whenever I have the chance. I promote Fogo to all my friends and this was the case as well. While in NY visiting I planned with some friends that had never seen the gaucho experience. I was so embarrassed that this location was the one I brought them to. Reservation for 5 for 5:30pm on a Monday, you'd think things would go smooth. Arrived at 5:23pm and the hostess said I did not have a reservation. I showed her the open table app and she stated that she didn't have it on her tablet. The place was empty in the main dinning area from the door you could see just a family of 4 and a couple. She told us we had to wait to see if she could accommodate us. WTH?!?! The place is partially empty and I showed you my reservation, fine. We waited to be seated. Touhidur was our server, never asked our table if it was the first time, so here I was explaining the process like if I worked there. He was slow, lost, distracted and with no sense of urgency, we ordered drinks and proceeded to the salad bar. I was really upset to see the horrible set up, no replenished greens and only one person preparing meats at one oven. I figured the rest were in the back about to all come marching with all the tasty meat cuts. We sat for more than 20 mins before any meat would come out. The fried cheese with honey made its appearance, no one else. Next person that came out had lamb picahna and we mentioned wanting beef. He stated that it would take a while. So we weren't concerned cause we thought other meats would come out. That was the biggest problem, only 2 servers, no rotations of meats coming out, I asked for certain cuts and the gaucho flat out told us that they were struggling as only one oven was functional. You got to be kidding me, $80 each fur a full churrasco experience that we didn't get to experience because only around 5 cuts of meat came out the entire time and the rest never made its way out while we were there. Friends couldn't try the pork wrapped in bacon or the Parmesan. No type of chicken ever came out. No pork belly even when asked, nor ribs, or lamb chops. It was the worse service and really upsetting to see kitchen staff (4) sitting in a corner eating while everything was falling apart with service at this place. I apologized to my friends. This is not the Fogo Experience I'm used to and so pricey. I typically pay $65 for the same dinner and way better experience in DC metro area. The soups were cold, no bacon for feijoada and rice cold hard. This place was a rip off at $80 each dinner and to top it off, when paying the server didn't know how to break down what we gave him in cash and a card. I had to explain to someone else at cash register. I left disappointed and dissatisfied that I couldn't introduce my friends to the experience I so much love about other Fogos'. Never wre we able to flip the card to red as our plates never had a pile of meats. This place needs to get it together.

This place is actually horrible! The first time I went, I thought it wasn't too bad, but my experience this time is a warning to everyone else who wants to come. It starts from the start - I had a reservation that was confirmed with Open table. I tell the hostess when we first walk in and she proceeds to gaslight me. She said are you sure can you show me, in which I show her my texts. Then she proceeds to tell me maybe it's for the wrong Fogo de Chao - I said if you look at my phone it says WTC. Then she says maybe I put in the wrong name , I said if you looked at my phone like you asked me you would realize it says Kayla. She the proceeds to say it's fine - as if I made the mistake? When clearly it was not my issue. She doesn't apologize and she makes us wait for a table. I also inform her on my original booking I put it's my father's birthday, she doesn't even acknowledge me. When we sat down, our waiter looked like he rather be anywhere else and when HE asked if we've been here before, I inform him that my parents have not. He briefly in the most fast paced way explains the menu, doesn't ask if my parents had any questions and then just left our table. Now the worst of it all, the service! HORRIBLE. Our waiter barely checked in with us and we were left to fend for ourselves. Now we also noticed towards the middle of our meal that the meats were skipping our table. Not once but three times we saw that other tables got offered different meats - and they just never came by to us. We even mentioned it to our waiter and he dismissed us saying, no no they're coming around. On top of that, the meats were COLD and RAW. I am all for a medium rare but the cow was literally still moo-ing on our plates. It was disgusting and we couldn't even eat it. At one point they brought out filet migon and then only served HALF THE TABLE. We had to tell our waiter, who once again barely did anything. The waiters came around asking if we wanted anything in particular and when we requested it, they didn't even come by and get us the meats? so what was the purpose of even asking us??? We never got anything for my father's birthday, so not only was he disappointed by the food but also we did not even get a chance to celebrate. Service was absolutely laughable, food was disgusting and I truly truly am telling everyone to stay away because there is much better steak for a much better price. My father's birthday actually sucked since we ate here.

I came here for a work dinner after hours, and overall it was a decent experience -- especially if you're not the one paying. We did the full churrasco, which is what they're known for, at $80 per person. That said, I don't think anyone at our table came close to eating $80 worth of food, including the market bar, and the group was majority men. If I were paying out of pocket, I'd probably feel disappointed given the value. For a work dinner, though, it was perfectly fine. The steaks themselves were good. I'm not a huge steak person, but I still found them flavorful, and I appreciated that they offered cuts cooked to different temperatures to accommodate everyone. The servers came around frequently with more meat, which was great, though it was sometimes hard to tell which cut was which, as they weren't always explained clearly. I believe we tried three to four different variations. The market bar was just okay. A lot of the items looked better than they tasted, and some of the produce didn't seem to be in season (pineapple, tomatoes, etc.), which affected the overall quality. I think this would be much stronger if they leaned more into seasonal ingredients. That said, the restaurant itself is beautifully designed, and it's definitely a fun, lively experience if you're looking for something a little different. Overall, solid for a group or work outing, but the value may be hard to justify if you're paying on your own.

Food (5/5): Really solid Brazilian steakhouse with a good amount of meat options. My favorites were the bacon wrapped steak, garlic steak, and lamb. I also really enjoyed the candied bacon from the salad stations and the cheese bread. Service (5/5): We came for a friend's birthday and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Had an awesome time. Only issue was that I had requested a cut and it took forever before it finally came over, but they got it done. Ambiance (5/5): Beautiful restaurant with a good amount of seating. The salad bar looked impressive with a lot of options and I liked how the waiters fancily came over with the meats.

First review of the year goes to this place where I dined on 12/26. Just two days after my 40th birthday I was still indulging in some happy hour drinks somewhere else when my dad (who was visiting from Chicago) said he wanted steak. I thought Fogo is right across the street and we entered during an impending snow storm. Upon the walk in they lost a star bc no one was in the front the hostess failed to secure the door and I was left to my own neck breaking before I finally approached the bar and asked the house rules and at that point there where 3 parties behind us also bewildered but patient. She asked us to step to the side while she addressed the other parties I was assuming they had reservations so I didn't say a work when she sat us last. Anyway we sit down check it out the menu and order drinks. The waiter suggested 1 wine upselling I suggested another impressing my guest which was cool. The prices in the menu had me a bit turned around but I mean idk I was just like $80 or $100 to dine I thought that was a little steep and it's definitely NOT my first rodeo. Whatever my father was paying we ordered what we wished. He got the everything buffet, I got the picania and my son got the lobster Mac and cheese. One bit of lamb and my stomach could not handle whatever spice was on there and I literally was down for the count hot water and lemon for the rest of the meal how abysmal. But my son and father kept the party going. My father ONLY ate lamb which was a bit funny they would come around with the meat and he ate old say wait where is the lamb guy I need the lamb - every single time. He got both our money worth in lamb which deeply satisfied me I love seeing my Dad please. And my son devoured the lobster Mac and cheese and raved over the crème brûlée which my father and I debated wasn't solid enough. Although I didn't eat much I went to the ladies room like 4 or 5 times and I was so super disappointed. The bathroom is super small, filthy, garbage running over onto the floor filthy. The soap dispensers BROKEN I had to remove the top to properly wash my hands I really- like if it wasn't snowing so bad outside I would have LEFT and gone upstairs to my office that's how dirty it was I was like HOW???! And my father comes back as he's like what the hell is the bathroom maintenance off for the night. I hope when restaurant week comes around min January they have that in order bc I plan to bring my team but this experience leave me with doubts that that will happen. No you cannot park here, 3/5 stars not sure if I would recommend.

I noticed this restaurant while walking to meet a friend at Brookfield Pl-when done visiting there we circled back and went in for a drink and apps. The first two things I noticed 1. has a very lovely atmosphere, 2. menu was filthy. How do you have such a nice looking venue and have a dirty menu? Doesn't take much to put it in plastic or laminate or something. Service was good-espresso martini was very good, although it took about 10 minutes to be served and friend was almost done with her wine by then. Appetizers-while tasty-it's laughable that they are under the label to be shared. The crab was very good but maybe a third to half cup serving. My friend had the lobster & shrimp tacos. She said they were good but I think they had maybe an 1/8 of food in the cabbage wrap. Lastly-the bathroom-I went in before leaving-very dirty. It was quite gross-things all over the floor. Dirt, spots, papers, etc...pics don't do it justice. I can only hope the kitchen is the one place they focus on cleanliness. 5 for service and atmosphere-2 for lack of cleanliness.

Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a fogo! It is smaller than the other locations I've been to, but was still able to get a table for 3 for a weekend dinner. Myself and another person in my party went for the summer special which included lobster tail or crab cake, but with fewer cuts of meat. Found the meat at this location to be a bit saltier than other ones. Maybe just an off night?

Quite a chaotic experience... have to ask multiple times, for water, for drinks, for sides... But it's new so not very surprised. Our favs were the lamp chop, butter steak, ribeye, sausage, polenta fries.

We've been to other locations of Fogo de Chao, so this wasn't our first time trying the Brazilian steakhouse. This location near WTC was clean and spacious. Vibes were very airy and lux. Service was wonderful. We both ordered the Full Churrasco experience. - Salad bar: 10/10 (loved the different salads, esp the potato salad and the corn salad) - Complimentary bread: 100/10 (honestly this bread was my fav thing of the meal! It was hot, perfectly chewy and very buttery) - Meat: 8/10 (most of the meat was a bit toooo salty for our liking)

Had been to the Fogo de Chao in midtown NY a number of times so was excited to try this new one located downtown and was not disappointed. Went on a very busy Friday evening but they were managing the flow well. Impressive decor with very high ceilings providing a spacious feel. Excellent Market Table to start and the meats carved tableside were terrific. We especially liked the Picanha and the Lamb Picanha which is something that we had never had before. Given the full restaurant we were concerned at first that there wouldn't be enough servers with the meats going around or that our table would be missed but was not the case at all. They have the process mastered as every one of the offerings came by. Our server Ceamli was very friendly and helpful and even checked with us as we were winding down to see if there were any of the meats we would like more of and she made sure that one came by again. Terrific addition to the Financial District restaurant scene!

I recently visited Fogo de Chao, I had a great dining experience. Staffs were welcoming and warm. Quickly accommodated us. Place was clean. Only problem I experienced was the building had an issue with fire alarm which occasionally went off. Nothing that restaurant can do. The salad bar was fresh, clean and vibrant. They had all sorts of salad dishes. Please go check out the salad bar! The endless selection of meats was incredible. The servers knew meat really well. Every cut they made was perfect for my order. The servers were very attentive and making sure we get a delicious piece of meat on our plate. IMO...my dining experience at this new Fogo de Chao location was far better than any other Fogo de Chao locations in the city..

Fogo de Chão has finally opened at the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan and thery're off to a strong start. The space is elegant and welcoming, with high ceilings, stylish lighting, and that iconic Market Table gleaming like a salad-lover's paradise. I started with a refreshing caipirinha (they nailed it!) and then hit the Market Table, which had everything from fresh hearts of palm and prosciutto to roasted veggies and aged cheeses. Then came the main event: the endless parade of sizzling skewers! Every single cut--from the picanha to the lamb chops to the bacon-wrapped chicken--was cooked to perfection. The servers were attentive but never overbearing, and I loved that you can pace yourself with the red/green card system. Special shoutout to the staff--everyone was genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed excited to be part of the new opening.

The space is adequate for the location. The salad bar is absolutely amazing. The meats were a bit dry, especially the chicken. The variety seemed limited, and I grew tired of seeing the repeated stuff. I wish the sauces are available for the taking at the bar instead of asking for them. I thought they were flavorful but the mister said the chimichurri didn't have enough citrus. Generally speaking, the staff was pleasant. However, one particular server that was going around with the meats had quite the body odor that put us off our meal. We literally had to tell him to skip us because the stench lingered. Utterly sad about the outcome as we looked forward to dining here.

4 stars for salad bar, 3 for the meat I dined here a few months ago. L and I got the churassco just to try at their newest location. Their all day happy hour drinks are only $10... I get my caipirinhas with no sugar/syrup. It tastes much better without all that weird sweetness. I don't care for meat in general so I ate mostly from the salad bar but they do serve bacon which my usual spot no longer has.. I don't normally eat bacon even uncured but we usually get a few slices at Fogo if we see it. Everything at the salad bar was fresh and wasn't salty but I hear that some people we know went just recently and it was incredibly salty and the meat was chewy too. The meat which I tried a lil bit .. it was okay but some were dry. I like my steaks medium rare.. and if other customers request more cooked cuts.. then everyone served that particular skewer, receives dry meat. It is what it is. Then you wait till a better meat comes around and you continue till you're full. Again I mainly fill up on the salad bar.. I always get a bowl full of black beans.. pork .. with a spoon of rice on top. It's filling and healthier .. and very tasty.

I've only been here for their all day happy hour and they deserve the four stars for the happy hour alone. Where else in the financial district can you find excellent cocktails for $10? Nowhere. Their other offerings for happy hour food wise are excellent as well. My husband enjoyed his burger and I was able to order a sliced filet mignon at a happy hour price!

Really wish they trained the staff better. With the claw machine event, they sure spent time on marketing. The decor is also nice. However, service is severely lacking. After we were brought to our table, we received little to no attention. No instructions - no water no explanations on how things work. We stared at our menu (2 per 4 people) and didnt know whether to order drinks, get salad or let the waitreas know of the set we planned to order. Over 15 minutes pass and guess what? Nothing. Very terrible service. We were taking a client from overseas here and we were mortified. Ran fast to Capital Grille nearby. Disappointing. Management: please do something. 40+ years of dining out, native NY-er. 4+ years yelp elite. Ive seen restaurants open and close esp in this area.

Very fun meal here with a group! Enjoyed doing the lunch churrasco experience with the variety of meats to select from. Overall good experience.

Really enjoyed the Ceamli service was great. The meat selections were pretty good not too much fan of pork belly but the ambiance is great for date night and I enjoy their all day happy hour too!!

Great atmosphere and really nice and attentive staff. All roasted meats are delicious. Ribeye and lamb picanha my favorites. Salad bar is great. The bar area is also really nice with great bar menu and happy hour. They have a nice frequent diner rewards program also.

We were hanging out in the oculus for an event in Seoul this restaurant. As we entered the building, we made a note and returned after for a fantastic happy hour at the bartender suggested. We get the cucumber basil drink. But of course, I love capirinhas, so I went with one of those. I should have gone with his recommendation . It was incredibly artificial in its sweetness, fruitiness was an afterthought. This made it virtually undrinkable. Now, his suggestion for the burger, was spectacular. It is one of the best burgers I've had this year. The bread was fluffy and held its integrity, even with all the sauces/juices from the patty. It comes dressed with smoked provolone, red onion, lettuce, tomato and some type of sauce, they create... polished up for the perfect bite. I ended up getting the regular fries, which were crisp and delicious. I ate half and had the second half for dinner the next day (small appetite) it was still amazing! I'm sure I'll return again for this treat.

It was truly an unforgettable experience! I had never visited and I don't know if I'll ever go back. We ordered the full churasco, they never brought over the filet and only once brought over ribeye. I REPEAT, NO FILET WAS EVER BROUGHT OVER. We asked for Picanha which additionally didn't make it over till the last few mins of our EXPERIENCE. They offered us chicken and sausage 1000 times but nothing nicer. It felt like the wait staff were trained to "not hear" you ask for more after they cut off the thinnest piece possible and immediate ran away for any cut that was preferred. We asked the server for the premium cuts probably 12-15 times, FOR WHICH WE PAID FOR. I think the manager even spoke with us and still didn't send over the filet cut. "Ohhhh yeah boss it will be righttttt ova"....Not once! Manager must be running a cheap cheap operation. It was appalling to having to continue to ask and get nowhere. The first espresso martini was a send back, no froth, tasted like a flat soda. It also took very long for all drinks ordered. Even a glass of wine took 15 mins.. The bathrooms were a f***ing dump - This half tells you who their typical client is and half tells you they have no one cleaning them or an under staffed restaurant. Not a family friendly or business appropriate operation. Lastly the ambiance! The restaurant is outside a building that has 100 LED lights per square inch. The curtains on the windows of the restaurant are so paper thin it feels like you have a police spot light on you and you're about to be arrested. PUT YOUR HANDS UP AND STOP (asking for the food you paid for) IN THE NAME OF THE LAW! Salad bar is plentiful and clearly they want you to fill up on carbs so you don't eat their precious meat. Are they planning on saving it for the next day ? Reselling it out the back door? Or just throwing it away after starving you? Overall: the staff don't listen, bathroom was nasty, high quality cuts aren't passed, they tease you with the low quality meat they do pass, the drinks were a miss and the ambiance is flooded with bright white light. Embarrassing towards the country of Brazil and the legacy of the company. NEXT !

This review is not about the food. Came here on a Tuesday night and was promptly seated when my party arrived. We stay seated for 15 minutes without anyone coming to fill the water glasses or to get our drink order. Decided to Just get up and leave because we didn't want to waste anymore time trying to catch someone's attention. Tried to out when waitress walked by but either she did not hear me or chose not to hear me. This location is so close by and was so looking forward to coming here instead of trekking to the one on 55th st. The location in downtown Brooklyn is not much better. This place is busy and not sure why they dont hire more people.

For our vacation, we had made reservations here. This was my first experience being at the this chain of restaurant. The place was clean with a nice ambiance. Service was amazing with an abundance of serving staff. You choose what you want for dinner. We chose a certain experience. For starters, you can go to a salad bar with a variety of salads, cold cuts and cheeses. Certain waiters come with an array of meat cuts. Each waiter will come with different types of meats to your table. If your coaster is green, they would come and offer you the protein on a large skewer and cut the meat in your desired temperature to like cut. Had a great experience. I will definitely be going back.

My family and I dined last evening. We weren't feeling that hungry so we all landed on just the market table. For $40 you get a good variety but I thought the food could have been a little fresher. The smoked salmon tasted a bit fishier than normal. Also, I felt like items weren't being replenished soon as they were running out. I tried the soba noodles and they seemed dry. The bread was also stale and super dry. Overall the market table left more to be desired.

How could I NOT like Fogo De Chão! The minute you walk in, you're impressed by the decor. I would say I'm not a fan of the tables so close to the from entrance but hey to each his own. The service was good. My party of 3 made a reservation we walked right in. The waiters and waitress were attentive. Though my waiter had a heavy accent and he was talking fast lol it took time but we finally came up with menu selections. We went with the $100 all you could eat meal. Each person at the table had to get the same meal selections in order to select that meal option. Anyway, everyone receives a coaster like placement. Red on one side green on the other. When green the waiters walk around with different meat selections. They ALL walk over to you with different meat selections. Most were good, I did not have them all. If you don't want any more meat DO NOT forget to turn change the coaster to red lol They are like vultures when on green. They do have salads selections and rice in a different area of the restaurant, you have to go retrieve them yourself. Overall I'm completely satisfied and would definitely recommend Fogo De Chão!

Loved that the space was not so big. Perfect sized market station! The meats were seasoned and made just right. Our server Ivan was so pleasant and hospitable. Would definitely come back again!

Great place for drinks and hang out with friends. The appetizers were tasty! My friends and I had the sliders, empanadas, cheese and drank Caipirinhas. The ambience is very upbeat and the place is huge and open! The waiter was absolutely efficient and personable. We had a great time at this place! I can't wait to go back with my family. I must said that food was good, but not amazing!

Best Fogo I've been to. Great ambiance, decor, space etc. Very well staffed with a great selection from the rodizio menu. Didn't have the time or attention span to take pics of the actual food, so you know it was all good.

Terrible Service - Not Even Worth One Star I had dinner at Fogo de Chão near the WTC in New York yesterday evening, and it was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had. I made a reservation for three people through OpenTable and noted that it was for a birthday celebration. But when we got to the table, it was set up for four. Even after we sat down, the fourth setting wasn't cleared for a long time. We had to ask the server to remove it, and even then, they said, "Oh, you're not four people?" and still didn't clear it right away -- we had to ask twice to get it done. I had also called the restaurant in advance to ask about the $45 wine corkage fee, and they told me a server would help pour and serve the wine. But that didn't happen either. * The server poured just one glass at the beginning and never came back to check. I had to pour the wine myself for the rest of the meal. * No one came to take our order at first. We had to stop another server and ask who was taking care of our table. That server just said, "I'm your server," which was a surprise -- no one had introduced themselves or offered help until we said something. * For everything -- drinks, dessert menu, dessert order, coffee, the bill -- we had to ask 2 to 4 times before anything happened. It didn't feel like service, it felt like we were constantly chasing staff for the basics. The worst part? There was no birthday service at all, even though I clearly wrote it in the reservation and mentioned it again in person. We got a dessert with just "thank you" written on it. No candle, no message, no effort. Most restaurants in NYC will bring a candle or something small even if you don't ask. Here, we told them in advance -- and still got nothing. This was supposed to be a special night, but I left feeling totally ignored and disappointed. After the meal -- and after we already paid $400 -- I told the manager about all of this. He apologized and offered to take one meal off the bill, but it was too late. I had already paid, so I politely declined. He said, "Next time I'll leave a VIP note," but honestly, I wouldn't come back here again. I didn't want anything fancy -- just the basic service they said they'd provide. But even that didn't happen. The whole night was a huge letdown, and I want others to know what kind of service they might get here.

Had dinner with my family here since we live neighborhood and wanted to try something new. Pros: a Beautiful Space Cons: Too Expensive for what they claim to offer but you literally have to practically BEG for the better cuts of meat or even chicken. They brought around some gross looking sausage and their house meat. For $80-$100 PP i would at least expect the filet cut to be brought out ! When i asked it took a VERY long time to arrive and honestly it was not good. It was actually very chewy and not great. Truly a disappointment for the amount we paid-i would NEVER recommend this to my friends. I am on a group of over 700 people for the downtown area that recommends many restaurants and places in this area and this will never be on this list.

We got here to have a nice Dinner on Monday night alll the way from Texas. It wasn't as a busy day. There's only 2 waiters going around and most of the time they skip you. My experience from here was very badly. We were waiting a good 5 minutes for something to come by. Definitely do not recommend. Just go to Mortans steak house down the street for a nice steak !! Definitely me & my husband was very disappointed in This Visit .

We sat down for lunch and was told our waiter will be with us shortly however it took a while until she did. The bus boy however did give us water and the cheese bread right away. As for the waitress when she arrived we ordered the surf and turf special but the waitress seemed to not know what it was and went to the back and checked. She came back with the special cards and too our seafood items for the special. We then started to eat and the market table was as expected with tasty items to choose from. The selection of meats for the special were ok but not great. Probably opt in for the full experience of going. After a long while our waitress came back and asked if our seafood items came and they didn't. She went to the back and after a long while again they came out and we only saw our server when it was time to pay the bill. The workers that serve the water were scarcely found. Overall the experience wasn't great. The only saving grace is they had one meat server who was funny and attentive. Ambiance wise it does look nice as the location is relatively new. I'm not sure about coming back again.

I am very upset with the experience I had today. Fogo de chao is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at so when this location opened I was so happy since It's close by where I live. But I will never return back to this location.The food here is disgusting so bland no flavor at all, the marketplace is so small barely any variety I regret spending my money here & now my mom & I are sick from the terrible food we ate. AVOID this place at all cost , if I can give it 0 stars I would !

Smelly seafood tower, slow service, good meat options came out at last. Store bought desserts. Nothing is special.

Their dishes please your palate while staff pleases with efficiency. The team provides pleasant service and menu expertise. This spot delivered exceptional quality. Every flavor was perfectly balanced. Quality food & nice atmosphere.

Fogo de Chão Review - A Birthday Rollercoaster My girlfriends treated me to Fogo de Chão for my birthday on 8/14, and let's just say--it started off rough. As soon as we sat down, the service was painfully slow. I mentioned my first-time reward to the waiter (who was far from helpful), and he said he'd take care of it. Then... crickets. We waited 25 minutes just for our first drinks, and by the time the food arrived, it was cold. After nearly two hours of frustration, we spoke to Nichole--and she completely turned the night around. She was lightning-fast, incredibly attentive, and brought a burst of energy that changed everything. Drinks arrived instantly, and her warmth and connection with us were unforgettable. Nichole deserves all the praise--she saved the evening! But then came the check... and no reward applied. Despite receiving an email saying I was ready for my second reward, it mysteriously vanished. Now I'm left questioning the reliability of your reward system. Great recovery thanks to Nichole, but the experience overall was a mixed bag. Fix the service and reward issues, and you've got something special.

Fogo de Chao gives me good reasons to return with each visit. The people here show exceptional kindness. The dishes reflect care and attention. The waiters cared and the restaurant had a good feel. I readily endorse staff who deliver like this.

My husband and I came here for our last lunch in the city, and it did not disappoint. We had the friendliest service. The food was fresh and very accommodating to my gluten free diet. Ivan, our server, was so informative and helpful, and we are looking forward to our next visit! Thanks, Ivan!

I went to Fogo at World Trade before opening and I had an exceptional experience. From the hosts, the servers, and the waitors, everyone was impressively attentive and kind. Our waiter in particular, Ivan, was very personable, kind, fun, and explained everything like a true professional! As for the interior, everything was tastefully decorated and put together, creating a classy environment. Now to the food, everything I had tasted great! Their salad bar includes fruits, veggies, various salads, soups and charcuterie. The meats are carved in front of you, and you can pick the temperature (rare, mid rare, etc) of cuts. They give you a few sides as well, and we finished off with lava cake for dessert! Overall, my partner and I had a great dinner together and we will definitely be coming back to this location not just because of the food, but also because of the staff that made the experience extra special.

Great ambiance. Market Bar plentiful of fresh items (albeit fewer choices than my #1 Churuasco spot in Cape Cod MA). Some of the meat and chicken were on the dry side. Pichana was excellent. Extra sides were a nice treat. Service good.

Terrible experience at this tourist trap. The food was overpriced and horrendous. The salad bar looked gross with old and stale food. Not much of a selection compared to other such restaurants. I waited a ridiculously long time for my entree, my table was done eating by the time my meal came out. Again, this is a tourist trap. Plenty of really great options in the area. This is not one of them.

We made a reservation for outside and were seated at a table on the patio. The hostess told us a server would be by soon. We told her we wanted to order a $642 bottle of champagne to start for our anniversary celebration and she insisted a server would be by. After 20min no one came and we asked the hostess again. She assured a server would be by. After 30min we still did not have waters and a server had yet to come. My husband finally went to go get a manager inside and a server came by. The server that came was very rude to us and we decided to leave and order nothing. It is clear to us that this location only caters to tourists and has no interest in serving locals. Avoid at all costs! There are so many good restaurants in this neighborhood that this one is not worth the hostility.

I am not impressed with this restaurant. While the ambiance and the service are excellent, the food is not. I've been to other Brazilian steak houses where prime rated whole roasts are sliced table side - this place is not that. Most of the meat is pre-cut and placed on skewers. The servers slide the meat off of the skewers onto the plates. While some of the meat is sliced off partial small roasts, it all tastes like choice grade from the supermarket. There is a large salad bar but there is nothing exciting on it. Fogo de Chao would be an average restaurant in terms of food quality, however, the high prices bring the overall rating down a notch. I won't be returning.

I went out to dinner tonight (8/31st) with my daughter and we were so looking forward to it but we received horrendous service. Our waitress literally ruined our time out. Her incompetence was so thick, you could literally touch it. We ordered the Wagyu Porterhouse and two lobster mashed potatoes as well as a nonalcoholic cocktail and a regular coke. Before leaving our table, she confirmed that I wanted a regular coke and not Diet Coke. She came back with our drink and walked away. I tried my drink and noticed right away it was not regular coke. I do not like zero/Diet Coke. So, I waved at her when she walked by again and told her she gave me Diet Coke. She insisted that I was wrong as she's pretty sure she gave me regular coke. My teenage daughter intervened and told her it was diet soda as she had tried it herself. So, the waitress took the drink and walked away. Before she walked away we asked her for some cheesy bread since she had mentioned our steak was going to take 25 minutes and I was starving. She came back a few minutes later and said that the regular coke machine was broken and they only had zero Coke. So, I ordered a strawberry lemonade and reminded her to bring us cheesy bread. She brought the strawberry lemonade but no cheesy bread. After a few minutes, she came back to our table as a waiter had approached us to serve us something we did not order. She asked us if we had changed our order. We said "no". She said who put these two yellow pieces on your table because it means they'll stop and serve you other items. I said "I don't know. I thought these were coasters for our drinks." We all laughed and she apologized and took them away. Before she walked away, I said "I'm really starving. Could we please have some cheesy bread?" She apologized and said she would bring them out. A few minutes passed again, no bread. Our Wagyu Porterhouse arrived and two male waiters were cutting it for us on a salt block. We told them we had been waiting for some bread for nearly half an hour. One of them went and grabbed us some right away. We told them we did not get our 2 lobster mashed potatoes orders either. He walked away and came back a few minutes later with a caramelized banana desert and another side order. We told him that we did not order those and he took them away. I waved again when I saw our waitress walk by and informed her that we were almost done with our meat but never got the lobster mashed potatoes. She apologized and walked away. She came back a couple of minutes later and said she actually forgot to put in the order and asked if we still wanted it. Of course, we didn't want it anymore as we were pretty much done with our steak. She left and never came back to see if we wanted dessert (not that I was going to risk ordering anything else) or the check. We sat there for like 10 minutes after we finished eating. I finally got up and approached a lady and asked her if she is the manager. She confirmed and I proceeded to let know that we just had a terrible experience and that we just wanted our check so that we could pay and leave but our waitress was nowhere to be found. She asked me a question and I honestly did not understand what she asked after having her repeat it. So, I pointed to our table to show her where we were sitting. She never asked me what happened or what went wrong. Instead, she sent another waiter with the check and gave us a "family and friends" discount. Honestly, I would have much preferred that she asked me what went wrong so that she can better train her employee to do better in the future.

Thank you Edward for taking such great care of me and suggesting the meat cuts I should try today. Wow he's suggestions did not disappoint they were all delicious. The service was amazing and eating at this restaurant is always an awesome experience for your palate. See you soon Edward thanks again.
