A Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience My wife recently brought my son and me to this remarkable restaurant to try something new, and it turned out to be an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This place offers a high-end dining experience that emphasizes quality, flavor, and hospitality. The food was simply outstanding. Every cut of meat we tried was of top-notch quality—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The concept of having different meats served on skewers was unique and added a fun, interactive element to the meal. The servers would bring the skewers directly to our table, and we used the provided tongs to take a slice of the freshly grilled meat right off the skewer. It was like a symphony of flavors, with each cut bringing something new to the table. One of the standout features was the "coaster" system, which added an efficient and enjoyable twist to the dining experience. Each table had a double-sided coaster—green meant "yes, bring the meat," and red signaled "pause, I'm full for now." It was a simple yet brilliant way to manage the steady flow of food. The fresh bar was another highlight. It offered a wide variety of delicious options that complemented the main courses perfectly. From crisp salads to flavorful side dishes, every item was fresh and well-prepared. It provided a great balance to the rich, savory meats we were indulging in. A delightful surprise was the honey cheese they brought around. The combination of the sweet honey and the creamy, savory cheese was absolutely divine. It’s not something you come across every day, and it left a lasting impression. We decided to go all out and opted for the full experience on the menu, and it was worth every bite. The abundance of choices and the quality of the offerings meant we ate until we simply couldn’t eat anymore. Every part of the meal felt like a culinary adventure, and we left the restaurant more than satisfied. The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about ensuring that every guest had a memorable experience. They explained the menu thoroughly, kept our drinks filled, and ensured we were comfortable throughout the evening. In conclusion, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations. From the ambiance to the food, to the service, everything was exceptional. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines high-quality food, unique presentation, and outstanding service, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back!

Google
Great service from the Hostess to all of the servers!! Truly enjoyed the selection of meats and the salad/cold bar. Even got a dessert to celebrate my Birthday at the end of the evening. Beautiful atmosphere and definitely recommend 👌🏽 We will try the Harbor location next.

Google
Amazing experience, my father enjoyed his birthday lunch thank you to Diana, Joseano, Tyler & Jeffrey! They went above and beyond. My dad was super pleased with Kelvin as well, his attentiveness and professionalism. Overall they were all friendly and makes you want to come back again. Ps. I recommend their passion fruit drink 10/10

I celebrated Thanksgiving and my birthday at Fogo de Chão, and it was incredible! The food was delicious—perfectly cooked meats and a fantastic Market Table. Phellipe provided outstanding service, making sure everything was just right. The festive atmosphere and excellent food made it a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Google
brunch was GOOD! same as dinner, but there is an omelet station. I felt like once you were there for over an hour oranhour and a half, the meat skewers stopped coming around as frequently. but all in all, it's a great place to eat!!

Here are all of our statements from our 6 person party: “Nothing BEETS the salad bar! the beets were delicious, surprisingly good options for vegetarians.” “Exceptional cheese bread” “Meats were some of the best I’ve had in my life, servers were very kind, dessert was fabulous.” “Exceptional food, especially the salad buffet.” “Great variety, lovely staff, overall amazing experience.” “Meat = good. Highly recommend the tenderloin and the lamb. pineapple was also very fresh” Give the chicken breast guy a raise!!

I’ve been a customer for many years at the downtown DC location and was a little apprehensive when I first saw they were opening this location just off Rockville Pike near my home. To me there was only one Fogo de Chão, even though I always knew it also exists in other cities. With so many great experiences, it would be hard for a new crew at a new location to satisfy me. I finally got over my long time loyalty to the downtown DC location about a year ago for a special occasion and now my family an I have been back here to the Pike & Rose location a few times. This visit was particularly special as it was our 13th wedding anniversary family dinner where we discovered the advantage of being seated very close to the kitchen. About a minute after getting a few things from the salad bar, our plates were also covered in meat! That is most definitely what we love about Fogo de Chão, but it wouldn’t be as nice as it is without the service at every turn from the moment we walked in the door. We were especially thankful for Dina, Adriana, and Bryan for taking such great care of us. Without people like those three paying close attention to us as guests, the experience just wouldn’t be as great as it was.

Google
Alfredo at the bar is the best! My fiancé and I love to go to the bar and enjoy their bar bites, cant beat the flavor and taste for the price. Alfredo has been at the bar 2/2 times we’ve went to this location and hes always so respectful and attentive! The restaurant is peaceful and enjoyable every time we’ve gone! Definitely recommend the unique experience if you have a chance.

Yelp
Had an amazing experience at Fogo pike and rose drinks were great salad bar was so fresh the Chimichuri was to die for our servers Daniel George D and Denis where simply amazing and pulled out all the stops quiet simply and incredible experience can't believe the service i got i would definitely come back soon

Yelp
Through a long set of circumstances, my wife and I wound up with no one else coming to Thanksgiving dinner, and decided not to cook. We decided to do dinner at Fogo. I was surprised at how packed they were, and glad I had made a reservation. We got seated pretty much on time, though we did get there early and have to wait a hair. However, the staff coming along with small bites in the waiting area was a nice touch, and definitely made the wait pretty nice. But, it was also a short wait. Thanksgiving, the place was packed! And there was a massive buffet display, as well as the staff coming around with Meat on a Skewer. Despite the crowds, there was hardly any wait, and the staff quickly served us. I don't know if it'll be a Thanksgiving tradition for us, but I would definitely pop back by sometime!

Yelp
Rating of 3 is probably bing generous. Hot food was great as usual, but our service was lacking big time. Our server was less than attentive, waited for at least 10 minutes for our drink order and a hello. Once our meal was complete, we basically had to beg for our ticket, then a manager noticed that our bill was ready to be paid, and came and did it himself, which was appreciated. Added negative was overhearing our server in conversation with another server saying "speak to me in English, we are in America here". While I'm not sure who he was speaking of, I felt it was rude and especially unprofessional in this setting.

Yelp
I have been to Fogo in Baltimore and Dc, in terms of this location I have been twice. Once during the day and week (slow) and once on Valentine's Day weekend (busy). Both times, the services was horrible. It's like we had to fight to order drinks and get our check. The servers who bring the food are amazing. The food, amazing! But the service... They didn't even walk my boyfriend to our table which was all the way in the back of the restaurant, they just said I was in the back. I don't know, if I wasn't paying the amount I pay to eat here- I wouldn't complain. But the food and experience does not match the service period. I would say this recent experience was just because it was a busy day but again, I went on a slow day and the service was the exact same- so the benefit of the doubt will not be given. I will opt out of this location if wanting to experience Fogo, but there are other great food options in the area that are lower price points that will treat you much better than this place. It's just a shame because first time goers that try this location will not truly experience he greatness that is this restaurant. I also noticed after posting this review that others with the same statement on services are buried under the 5 star reviews. I hope the GM of this location will take all these complaints serious eventually.

Nio W.

Yelp
The food was delicious. The service was great. The ambiance is very pleasant. The meats were my favorite. I like poultry but I didn't find the chicken as appealing as I'd thought. It wasn't dry but it wasn't as juicy as I was expecting. The chocolate cake (Brigadeiro) dessert was delicious! You have decent options that are healthy from the salad bar. One of my favorites was the lamb. Very juicy and tasty. Overall, the experience was very pleasant and the food was very much worth the price. I would definitely return. I didn't eat the pork but there was good feedback from our large group about it.

Amy S.

Yelp
What an experience! You've gotta try the full Churasco experience. Unlimited access to the market bar, which has lots of veggies and other side dishes. Then people come around with things of fresh meat. You say Yay or Nay and if you say Yay, they slice you a piece. Most of the meat I've had is so juicy and well cooked/seasoned. A few of em are on the tougher side, but still good, I've learned to be careful of saying yes to too many meats cause they're really filling. Service is always really nice.

Whitney L.

Yelp
Recently revisited fogo with a friend for her birthday celebration! The food was really good and the selection of meats were great. Some of the meats though were really dry and overcooked (like the chicken). Other than that, I had a pleasant experience. Our waiter checked in on my friend and I, cleared our table when appropriate. It was a pretty busy night since it was near Christmas time, but they also did a great job decorating for the holidays. Would recommend fogo for a formal night or special event.

Yelp

Yelp
I was extremely excited to join Fogo for their National Caipirhina Day last Thursday. The closer location, Baltimore did not have reservations almost a month prior but Bethesda did is so I trecked on down with some friends after work. The caipirinha is a Brazilian cocktail that's made with cachaça, lime, sugar, and ice. There were ou can see on the menu the multiple choices they had to choose from. I decided to go with the strawberry hibiscus and mango at first. Realizing I needed to aqctually try the original, I made my way over to the bar where the bartender who was very rhythmic with his mixing skills, gave me some knowledge about the rum used for the cocktail and I choose the top shelf for it and it did not dissapoint. We were given a lot of hors d'oeuvres like their infamous pão de queijo, grilled cheese with honey, polenta, charcuterie selection that consisted of cured meats like prosciutto, salami, and chorizo, as well as cheeses; chicken and beef sliders as well as a Caesar salad. There was a lot of management on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly and to let us know they were there to help us out in any way possible. I was able to request the meat they provided us for the evening without bacon and I highly appreciated that. We were all seated at tables so there wasn't a lot of mingling going on which was something I expected it to be since it was labeled a bar event. I have seen these events offered before but this was not very first time participating and I would go back for another.

Yelp
We went to Fogo de Chão to celebrate two birthdays. It is the perfect place as there are many items to select from their full experience. We went for brunch on Saturday and the omelettes were wonderful. The salad bar is amazing andthe meats or flavorful. Our waiter, Noah, Was very good and meeting our requests and provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend visiting here for any occasion. We arrived at 12: 30 and about an hour later. It was pretty busy .great ambience although loud.

Allison L.

Yelp
Food was okay, but the service was a hot mess. We had a reservation but still had to wait 20+ minutes to get seated. The front host was very confused and unhelpful. Once seated, we had to get up and find our waitress a few times because she went MIA for an hour. There were several nice staff members who tried to pick up the slack, but overall, everything was very disorganized. We also left without our friend's birthday dessert because the staff forgot about our dessert altogether. Unfortunately, because of this experience, we likely won't dine at Fogo again.

Yelp
We came to Fogo on a Sunday early evening with a group of 2. My husband frequents here more than I do, but we come together quite often too. Tonight he was inquisitive and asked the man that brings the meat around about the process. He had seen a video that explains that the people that bring the meat to your table are also the ones seasoning and cooking the meat. Joseano was eager to tell us that he not only seasoned the meat, but he was actually the butcher. He said that he has worked for Fogo for 13 years. We always see him here and prefer his service over most others. Now we know why!! His meat is always cooked to perfection and seasoned even better. We prefer the service and experience here over most other places in the area. This is the #1 reason we come back over and over again. Highly recommend and also recommend Joseano's meat skewers over others

Myra M.

Yelp
When we have a hankering for a meat-heavy meal, we always think of Fogo de Chao. Last night, for restaurant week, they had their usual meal for a mere$39.00!! It was a madhouse, think cruise ship dining room packed, but the service was seamless and the food as good as it always is. The salad buffet was abundant with many choices for everyone-- even for the vegetarians--to make a meal off of. It has a vibrant vibe, a little noisy so if you are thinking of having a nice quiet time-- this is not the place for you! The whole night, the staff was attentive and ever ready to deliver a good night out!

Sarah O.

Yelp
We came for a wine and wagyu event with high expectations on what we would get. It was 1 day only and $50 per person with an automatic 18% gratuity before you sat down. I enjoy tipping when the service is great but I have to be served to know what the tip should be. I do understand that this is an event and it's not just one person assisting you but I do think checks should be taken at the end of dinner always. We did not know it was a bar Fogo event until we got here and paid and I was able to ask a few questions. We were able to start off with bar bites focused at a separate table which I believe is so smart so everyone can grab as much as they want when they want. The list of items were smaller than the regular food bar but still great options. The infamous cheese bread was of course on display as well as empanada , brown sugar bacon , deviled eggs as well as frites. They ensured this table was never empty. Al, tinsley , and a few other staff members were beyond amazing I give my kudos to them for always checking on as many tables as they could. My only disappointment about this event is the limited amount of food you get. For the price you pay you might as well just sit and get regular service and add wagyu as an enhancement so you get the full experience. I would never do a wine and wagyu here ever again it just wasn't worth it to me. In total the cheese and honey came around 8 times. The chicken wrapped bacon (size of a quarter) came around 3 times , the ribeye came around 4 times ( small tip size pieces a lot of times mostly just fat) and the wagyu came around twice. This was mostly a money grab event in my perspective. The main event which was the wagyu was hardly featured

Yelp
Zomigod! I cannot remember the last time I ate that much food! I was in town for a conference and went there for dinner with my colleague and her husband. I had never been to Fogo de Chao before so colleague's husband had. He warned not to "make a rookie mistake" so do not get too much from the salad bar (so much great stuff). I ignored at my own peril! Then the gauchos starting coming around. Beautiful beef, chicken and sausages came through on a regular basis. I said 'yes' until I could not eat another bite. Somehow colleague's husband was able to eat dessert - cream brûlée cheesecake. It was gorgeous. He loved it. I probably should have ordered a piece to go to enjoy later. A great evening!

Aimee K.

Yelp
I absolutely enjoyed the salad bar, especially the basil dressing and roasted bell peppers. The meat was also good but the service was a bit rushed. It felt overwhelming. The complementary bread and the cheese and honey were some of my favorites. I tried two of their desserts and both were 10/10 in my books. Overall, it was a new and exciting experience and I would recommend trying them out.

Joe S.

Yelp
Fogo is a solid spot for anyone craving churrasco. The food is always on point--the meats are consistently well-prepared and perfectly cooked. My personal favorite it the picanha, but really can't go wrong with any of their other offerings, you won't be disappointed. The salad bar and sides are also standouts, offering a variety of fresh, high-quality options that complement the main courses perfectly. The interior is spacious and classy, creating a great dining atmosphere. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. On multiple visits, I've experienced slow service, and despite requesting specific meats, they often don't make it to the table. This consistent issue keeps the experience from reaching its full potential. If the service were more reliable, it would easily be a five-star experience.

Loretta B.

Yelp
Here are all our statements from our party of 6: "The salad bar is nothing short of amazing! The beets were delicious, surprisingly good options for vegetarians. "Exceptional cheese bread" "The meat was the best I've ever had, servers were very kind, dessert was amazing." "Exceptional food, especially the salad buffet" "Great variety, lovely staff, overall amazing experience." "Meat = good. Highly recommend the tenderloin and lamb. The pineapple was very fresh too" Give the chicken breast a high!! Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options

Patricia S.

Yelp
This was our first visit to this location, and the restaurant had a lively and bustling atmosphere. The customer service was good, with multiple staff members checking on us. The food was decent, though some of the meat was warm rather than hot and fresh during the first round. The rice and beans were slightly lukewarm, but the salad bar and other sides were excellent. Overall, we enjoyed the meal, but the experience didn't quite live up to the hype; it might be the location.

Steve E.

Yelp
1st time here, didnt know about this location. Came w friends on a Sunday evening @6p we were lucky to get bar seats. Leidy, Diana, & Alfredo were very helpful, welcoming, and attentive. I didnt know about the bar menu. I been to the one in DC before for the full experience. This places gets busy. I recommend reservations. Skip the sliders and go for the burger. Fried Cheese is a must.

Liyang S.

Yelp
Phenomenal service, sinfully delicious food, euphoric salad bar, and romantic atmosphere. The perfect combination for a date meal, or for any occasion. Be sure to come hungry, cause you'll be leaving fulfilled. Nom nom nom!

Whitney M.

Yelp
I went with friends for the lamb, the salad bar, & good company. Our server Lady ( that's her name) was pleasant Ave very helpful. I enjoyed the full experience and those who had the chicken said it was moist and well seasoned. The establishment is well lit and calm. Ordering was easy ( of course) and the meal did not disappoint. First 2 hours of parking in the garages are free. Stop by and enjoy. For those who don't want to pay for the full experience, choose a protein and enjoy the full salad bar!

Margy C.

Yelp
The first thing I noticed when we entered was the loud noise. You have to speak with raised voices which I never like. I like to enjoy a meal and to hear the conversation. Despite that, it was definitely an experience. We chose the Churrasco experience where there were over a dozen choices of meat that come to your table. The enormous salad was included. The salad bar had chacuterie items such as deli slices, cheese, and olives. I enjoyed the roasted vegetables such as eggplant and zucchini. There were also several options of rice. You could get full on the salad bar alone. Knowing that we were there for the meat, I only took a piece of each item that I wanted to try at the salad bar. Once we turned our markers over to green, the meat started coming. The downside for me was that I lost track of what type of meat was on my plate. I wanted to remember which slice that I liked so that I could get it when it came around. I do remember how much I liked the lamb. The meat was cooked perfectly. I did not get to all the meat that was available that night. What I did get was just wonderful. Throughout our meal, the cheesy bread, mashed potatoes, polenta, and carmelized bananas also kept coming. We actually had to stop those dishes from being placed on the table because we knew this was to fill us up instead of the meat! It was a great experience but I don't think I will need to try this again very soon. Definitely worth a visit on an infrequent basis because who needs to eat that much meat? Word of advice -- You need to make a reservation. On a Friday night, every table was filled (hence the noise) and a constant crowd of people waiting at the door for a table without a reservation.

Yelp
So I'm not trying to make this about race however we had a bad experience at this restaurant. We go here every year for my son's birthday and this particular year was probably the worst experience ever... we've been to several locations, this one is closer to our home. First off, they came about six times with the different meats, then they kind of just disappeared. We ended up waiting 35 minutes before I got up and asked the manager to send them back over and explain what was happening. We waited about 45 minutes for water and drink refills. They deserted us, when I spoke with the manager and told him that we were waiting on potbelly and some bottom round it took him about bout another 15 minutes before someone came over. He was not apologetic whatsoever...One waiter that we asked for assistance told us we needed to ask him now or don't ask...again the manager was not apologetic. I don't think that we will go to this location again maybe next time try the DC location and hope for better service. We did have a large party of 9 which means a big/huge bill. It's unacceptable to treat any customer the way we were treated and ignored. Improve by improving customer service improve by being more attentive. If the meat is all you can eat don't cut people off, especially when you hadn't been over to the table that much

Xavier I.

Yelp
Thursday 10/26/23 I've always enjoyed my times at fogo de chao and being able to eat as much as I want. It's been over a year since I last went and I've been eager to make a visit. The food was fine but the service really messed up the experience. The service on this visit was underwhelming and the servers definitely missed the mark. When it came to them bringing around the food, they took longer than usual and there wasn't a lot of variety in the meat rotations (they mainly rotated the same 5-6 meats). On top of the service seemingly taking a back step, the prices for the all you can eat experience went from $55 to $63.50. It seems that Thursdays are slow so they match that with the slow and underwhelming service I was given. My opinion has changed (for the worse) but I'm definitely open to trying it again on a Saturday (when it's busy and the service is on point).

Scott L.

Yelp
Came in for a birthday. Jordy and Alfredo were our servers. They were both very attentive, but not overbearing. Service was excellent as well as the food. Always enjoy coming in.

Starr D.

Yelp
Since Fogo offers 50% off for all service members and veterans on the veterans day, so it has become a tradition for us to go to Fogo on This day. This year we went to the Northern Bethesda location located in Pike & Rose Shopping area. A nice open space with modern decors & their Christmas decorations are in. Parking here is very convenient. Even though it has a lot of traffic. But there are various parking garages , one by the IPC theatre, one across from the theater parking, there are also two open space parking by the other two corners, all offer first 2hr free. As for this location of Fogo, the service was fantastic, meats were delicious, and salad bar is fully stocked just like most other Fogo. Definitely recommend.

Ruth D.

Yelp
I came here 3 times within one week! Clearly I enjoyed myself. Fogo de Chao has been a restaurant I've enjoyed for a while but I recently visited this location for the first time a few weeks ago. I discovered they have an all day happy hour menu which is perfect for when I don't have the stomach space to have the all you can eat option. I especially love the lamb chops on the all day happy hour menu and look forward to coming back again. I've also tried their chicken wings and empanadas which were also tasty. The wings were topped with sautéed peppers and onions and I loved the unique touch. The service was nice each time I came with staff being friendly and timely. The ambiance is more lively at the bar with a fine dining atmosphere.

Ned L.

Yelp
Oh, I over ate and drank too much wine! The best part is that the meat is served both properly cooked and hot. Most steakhouses can cook meat correctly, but by the time it's on your plate it's only warm-ish. Sliced off the skewers, it's served hot. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was fine, if a bit crowded. I'm familiar with Brazilian food and serving style, but they'll explain anything you ask. We had a long conversation over a fine meal, chose carefully over the buffet and had each type of meat desired. Entirely my fault for drinking too much.

Charles P.

Yelp
this restaurant is one of my favorites of all time. Premium meat all you can eat what can be better always amazing service. The salad bar has great options and there is a beautiful elegant atmosphere.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a weekend to celebrate my birthday with my husband and a couple of friends. Total for both my husband and myself, for the buffet and meats with a dessert and drinks came out to $160. What's hot - Reservation. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time. They have that option on their website, which is useful. - Quality. Delicious. All the meats are well-seasoned and cooked very well. Their salad buffet has many options, like smoked salmon, artichoke hearts, caprese, asparagus, roasted cauliflower, roasted peppers, etc.... All cooked well and seasoned appropriately and not too salty. - Menu. There's a good variety for everyone- meats, seafood, veggies, and for vegans! Helpful for us, because one of our friends is vegan and she was still able to get what she wanted. - Price. For the portions and quality of food you get, everything is delicious and good value for money. - Parking. There's street parking in the plaza it's located, but it's timed parking. There's a garage near by, which is paid parking, but the first couple of hours are free. What's not - Service. Not bad, but not great. They don't appear very well-coordinated. For example, we asked for separate checks between the couples from the beginning of our meals, which they did not do when the checks arrived. When the final bill arrived, we literally had to go through the different items we ordered to ensure they split the bill properly. Even then, that didn't work, because we were charged incorrectly for the final bill. We didn't dispute it, because at that point, it wasn't worth the additional time and hassle. They have lots of staff, but it doesn't appear they really talk to each other, because some of our orders got lost; we had to double check on our orders; etc... - Location. It's in a plaza, where there are many other options available. It's helpful for convenience, but inconvenient in terms of getting around. Final answer Delicious and willing to come back, but definitely for special occasions and not run-of-the-mill.

Yelp
I came here with a party of nine for a birthday celebration, and let's just say the company we had definitely saved it. Right off the bat, they seemed unprepared for our group size--even though we made a reservation. They crammed us around a rectangular table with no room to move, let alone enjoy the food comfortably. However, each person who came around was overall lovely and made sure you got enough of what we wanted. The food itself was a letdown. The whole group had the "full experience"where we had unlimited variety cuts of meats.Although we ended up getting the same cuts, and it felt like we were on a dry chicken loop until we spoke up and asked for a better selection. For a place with this kind of reputation, we expected more variety without having to ask. To top it all off, the wall that divides the restaurant has different ambiences which in turns creates very different experiences. The redeeming part? The pineapple mint lemonade. Really refreshing and well-balanced. But one good drink isn't enough to bring us back.

Yelp
My family and I ate here this past weekend. We have visited several times, but I think this is my first time reviewing this location. We love Fogo de Chao! We think the Tysons Corner, VA seating is better but it's not as close. We feel the tables have been tightly squeezed in at the North Bethesda, MD location. Perhaps it is to make more money so I get that too. The place is always packed, I wouldn't recommend showing up without a reservation. Because the prices have increased, I wanted to take advantage of the Brazil Cuts special, which ends in a few days. It is $39 per person and is the same as the full churrasco experience, minus a few meats + market table still. I wish that they would continue this special on a regular basis. If you don't have to have all the meats, it's a great deal. The service was great throughout dinner and our server, Claudia, was wonderful. I have also been here for lunch and they have a great lunch special that I highly recommend, the gaucho lunch, it includes the market table (salad bar) lunch price and a side of preferred meat (several slices), for about $10 more.

Yelp
I always enjoy eating at this restaurant. The food selections are good from the buffet to the food to table choices. The ambiance was great and the staffs were very good.

Yelp
Not sure which was worse, the rude bartender, lack of service or the bad food. Very disappointing. Never have been to a Fogo and probably will not try again after this experience. The one drink I had was good but non existent service so I did not have the opportunity to order another or get silverware before my overcooked and tasteless lamb chops were cooling down. I normally don't make bad reviews. I try to say positive things about places I visit, but this was just completely ridiculous. Other patrons at the bar had similar experiences as I did today. I see why they are always posting on Indeed. Unfortunate, because since they are open on Christmas I was going to bring my friends. A couple at the bar said this wasn't the norm and to give it another try but highly doubtful.

Yelp
I took my adult children here for my son's birthday. Fogo is amazing restaurant which I've tried in another city. The one Pik and Rose is also outstanding. In spite of the reservation, we did end up, waiting about 30 minutes for a table, but as it was a Saturday evening, I imagine that's typical They are $39 special worked for four of us. My son, of course, got the up scale special, and my daughter ordered a vegetarian dish which was disappointing to her. It's not surprising, as Pogo does meets extraordinarily well, but tofu is not one of their recommended specials. I will return. Or perhaps I'll try the new one up in Towson.

Yelp
I always want to give Fogo a chance but am continuously disappointed. I took my work team for our holiday party and while the food tasted good and the salad bar was nice, the service was as usual lacking. Our drinks did not come until we were seated for over thirty minutes, we had to ask for filet 5 separate times and when they finally brought it, it was at the end and they barely had any, and we had to consistently ask multiple times for things, including the previously agreed gift cards due to scheduling a group. I feel like Fogo has a system where they literally won't listen to your requests for filet until they've flooded you with lower quality meats and sides.

Yelp
We went here for dinner tonight. It was packed but the lovely hostess gave us the best table with an amazing view of the outside. We were off to the great start, the staff was great! Everyone treated us so well. We were asked constantly of everything is okay or if we needed any more meats. Moises was also great he was very accommodating to all of us. Good customer service representative. We enjoyed our caipirinhas very much too. All in all a lovely evening. Oh and the lovely waitresses who even asked us to help take our photos. I am very happy how they took care of us today. Hope to come back again soon!

Yelp
We came to break fast after lent and the service was exceptional. Corina was kind and servicial and was a true example of great service. The food was amazing and the meat was cooked to perfection. I am so happy I chose this Fogo de Chão to celebrate such a special event and get really good food and exceptional service from Corina and the team. I appreciate the amazing service and great lunch at this location.

Yelp
All the Meat a girl can handle!! Hot, Spicy and Delicious!!! I've been a frequent customer of Fogo's All Day (Every Day) Happy Hour because you can't bear the price for a knockout happy hour priced drinks and food. This year, I decided to "treat myself" and Fogo decide to treat me as well. If you sign up for their Fogo eClub, they send you a $25 certificate to use for their full Churrasco Experience, which cost $63.50 in DC Area (excluding drinks and desserts). Check pricing in your local area. It was non-stop meat plus salads and sides. The meats various cuts of pork, beef, chicken and lamb. You get a coster, green side up you are ready for more, red side up you are stopping more meat and concentrate on taking down the meat on your plate. It all looked and smelled oh so delicious and tasty, I fear I may have over indulged. It's Brazilian BBQ so they specialize in South American Cocktails, South Amer. Wines. The Happy Hour selection have "HH" next to them and cost $10 a cocktail, $8 wine and $5 a beer. They even have non-alcoholic drinks called Clean Cocktails. The service was excellent and the tables were beautifully set. The waiters serving meat appeared frequently and the meat was pipping hot. It was truly an amazing and treat yourself experience. I look forward to indulging and returning for upcoming celebrations.

Yelp
My family and I have been to multiple different locations of Fogo for decades now, but we have only been to the Pike and Rose location once before. Our overall experience tonight was solid, but there were some hiccups. We ordered 2 of the buffets and 2 entrees (with the salad bar). The first entree came out about 20 minutes later, which was fine because we were still enjoying the salad bar. Unfortunately, our waitress kept coking to our table telling us the second would be out soon, but it wasn't for another 25-30 minutes! At that point, the majority of us were already done with our feast and wanted to move on to dessert. We had brought our own sweets for a birthday celebration but placed an order for some coffees and ice cream to go along with it. We also wanted to be considerate because we noticed a lot of people coming in and wanted to order something quick. We waited about another 20-25 minutes before we ended up cancelling the dessert and just got the check. With all of that said, the manager and other wait staff was extremely kind and knew the service we had received was not up to par. My family appreciated their efforts to improve our dining experience. Food wise: their salad bar is still massive and filled with fresh salads, fruits, and pastas! You could honestly eat a whole feast just from the salad bar. They are most known for their Brazilian meat buffet, which lived up to every expectation we had. I definitely recommend their bacon-wrapped steak and pork belly, but I love that you can try as many different types of meat without feeling wasteful. Ambiance: our reservations were for 5:30. When we got seated, there were a few other tables around us, but it was relatively calm and empty. However, by 6/6:30 the place was packed! I was so impressed at how they were able to handle groups of 20+ among all the other tables.

Yelp
I love the food, but very chaotic ambiance. Arrived before reservation time and waited almost an hour to be seated. Packed like sardines at the entrance smh

Yelp
My colleagues and I went to Fogo as a celebration after a long but fun conference. It was the first ever Fogo experience for one of my colleagues and only the second for me. All restaurants (at least so far from my experience) have a buffet of sorts containing various roasted/sautéed vegetables and other options for an awesome salad. That said, you don't go to Fogo for this...you go for the steak. The meat is brought to the table on a metal spit in various states of "doneness"from medium rare to medium well" This format provides the opportunity to get slices of various cuts of meat (chicken lamb, pork chops and beef)...all seasoned in what my colleague describes as " Brazilian". I don't know about all that, I'm just repeating what my colleague said...for me all the meat was well seasoned at a doneness of "medium" and was very tender. My favorite cut of meat at Fogo by far is Picanha, which is unique to Brazilian steak houses. Ultimately, I'm splitting hairs because all the meat was great. We were there a little over an hour and a half and got our fill of every cut and type of meat. Of course we couldn't go to " Brazilian " restaurant with having a glass of Caipirinha, a Brazilian cocktail, which according to my colleague was a well made example of the drink. I was the only one with room in my stomach for dessert and I ordered the " chocolate brigadeiro" which I would describe as a not very sweet chocolate cheesecake... more decadent and rich but not as sweet. For me after a big meal it was a perfect. We all enjoyed our time at Fogo de chao, the food was awesome as well as the prompt service. Will look to go to more Fogo restaurants during my travels

Yelp
Last month we celebrated my grandmothers birthday with a large group at the North Bethesda location and it was amazing! Our servers June and Adriana were attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable and the food was delicious!! Thank you again to this Fogo de Chão location and to June and Adriana for your outstanding hospitality. This was a very memorable celebration for our family and friends!!

Yelp
Many unique cocktail sections. The staff is friendly. The place is a little noisy. If you are a meat lover, you should come to Fogo....

Yelp
We went on a Friday for lunch. The salad bar was clean and had tons of options. Server was super sweet. We were able to get seats with no reservations. They stopped coming around with food around 3pm so get to lunch early. Parking garage about a block away and was free. Great vibes for a lunchtime date.
