We had such a wonderful experience at Fogo de Chão thanks to our server, Andria. She was incredibly sweet and attentive to the entire table, always making sure we had everything we needed. She even recommended a lovely fish seasoning right in front of us, which we really appreciated. To top it off, she surprised us with a delicious tres leches dessert that made the meal even more special. We are truly happy with her service and look forward to coming back. Thank you, Andria!

One of the best restaurants I've ever been too. I had the CHEESECAKE BRÛLÉE New York Style cheesecake torched with caramelized sugar, served over a rich berry sauce. The taste was Superior never had a cheesecake like this before. If you love delicate light delicious cheesecake you need to get try this.

Had a wonderful experience at this location! We usually patronize the location in Addison but I feel like we’ve come home in this Plano restaurant. The vibes were immaculate, the food was delicious, the property was clean and elegant. You can’t ask for more! Nick and Devon took care of us and made our experience so wonderful. We happened to be celebrating my birthday and the manager Moe came to personally extend his well wishes and made sure we were enjoying our dining experience. Will come back again and again! Ask for Moe when you’re here. He’ll take care of you!

I just had my first dining experience at Fogo de Chão, Allen, Texas. The service was top notch, the food was impeccable, and the dessert was delectable. I will say that the service stood out even beyond the tasty food. Moe, Aline, and Braden; Took such good care of us, always greeting us with a smile. My husband and I went for lunch and decided to buy the full experience which gives you the full bar with various goodies, the meat that was brought around was so juicy and cooked to perfection . I couldn’t even find a favorite meat and believe me, I tried. We ended the meal with the crème brûlée cheesecake and a cappuccino. It was recommended by our waitress and It did not disappoint! Yum!! We left there super satisfied in every way, and we will be back.

The empanadas (pastel) was delicious, the lamb was not that great, we ordered medium well and it came almost medium rare, it also tasted like game a lot. Our server looked not that happy to serve us, she was polite but bare minimum, she used to leave while talking like she wasn't available for us but the place was empty so no excuse for that. I also asked a few questions about the membership and she said "it's very easy you'll figure out in the website, you'll see" so It gave the impression that she was not happy to be there it definitely affected our experience.

I had a great experience during my dinner service. Sheena, David, and Nathan were very attentive, accommodating, professional. Food was delicious, atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. We utterly enjoyed our family dinner there. One thing I would recommend is cleaning seats after guests. We had some crumbs on our seats.

I go to fancy places ($150 for lunch for 2) and expect it to be clean. The wine bottles in cases were covered in dust. I could have written my name on them. I ordered the lobster app and I got it at the same time as my dessert. Waiter was cute though

We had the pleasure of celebrating my husband’s 51st birthday at Fogo de Chão, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! This place holds a special spot in his heart, and it’s easy to see why. The atmosphere is absolutely amazing—inviting, warm, and perfect for a celebration. The food? Simply outstanding. Every bite was a testament to their dedication to quality and flavor. But the cherry on top was the impeccable customer service. Our waiter, Aba, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making the evening all the more special. A friendly tip: arrive on an empty stomach! There is so much delicious food that you’ll want to save room to enjoy it all. Fogo de Chão continues to exceed our expectations. We can’t wait to return and create even more wonderful memories here.

Yelp
Great service from Jaden, Michael K., and Jessica! We have been several times but this was our best service experience. We will be back!

Yelp
The experience was great! The food was amazing and the service from Jacob and Lucas made the experience even better!

Yelp
I attended a graduation party with about 50+ people in attendance. The service was A+ as well as the food. The meat was hot and juicy: delicious. Our server, Sheena, sent us home with a dessert that was not mention in the choices. We saw another lady having this particular dessert, which is our fav, and ask why she got one and we didn't. She said no problem and sent us home with one on the house!! I will definitely be returning. Thank you all for making Jaxson's Graduation Celebration a huge success!!!!

Yelp
I expected more from the headquarters location of Fogo de Chão, but sadly this was a disappointing experience from start to finish. We arrived a little early and were promptly seated--so far, so good. But that's where the positives ended. Service was incredibly slow. After sitting for a while, the only thing we were offered was water and bread. No introduction, no explanation, nothing. My kids and I finally just gave up and went to the salad bar on our own. My wife doesn't eat salad, so I had to grab her a plate myself--and not once were we offered clean plates during the meal. The meat service was just as lackluster. Gauchos came around infrequently, and when they did, most of the meats were overcooked and dry. It seemed like there was a shift change midway through, because suddenly we had a new server who brought out the mashed potatoes, fried polenta, and caramelized bananas--things we should've received much earlier. Dessert was a complete train wreck. It took 20 minutes to bring out three servings of ice cream and two molten lava cakes... and even then, it all looked thrown together with no care or presentation. Overall, this felt nothing like the polished, high-end experience Fogo usually aims for. Definitely not worth the price, and I'd avoid this location... especially considering it's supposed to set the standard for the brand. Would you like a more humorous or punchier version, or is this the tone you were aiming for?

Yelp
Well since we had such a great time for our birthdays last year we went for a second round last night and they did not disappoint. I will be 75 next week and I use a walker and these gentlemen could not have been more helpful and cheerful about it. The food as always was fabulous and along with our special birthday discounts, which you have to sign up for on their website well ahead of time. The also gave us complementary desserts. Their Crème brûlée was absolutely creamy and delicious topped with berries and a candle on the side. There was also a molten chocolate cake which look yummy as well, but I was already cheating with the sugar in the Crème brûlée I didn't need to add gluten to my cheat. It was the perfect end to another trip around the sun and a special celebration. Thanks for always making our dinning experience special.

Yelp
We usually get excellent service at Fogo de Chao. We went the day before Father's Day, and the Plano location was pretty disorganized. At the salad bar, an employee was hitting the ice under the food with a pick, splattering it all over the salads. It was kind of gross, to be honest. My husband ordered wine, and we had to remind the waitress twice. Finally, a manager who was passing by asked if everything was okay and brought us the wine himself. The meat was ok, but we felt like we were being rushed. We ended up ordering dessert, and the waitress brought the check along with it. Really?! We didn't have a special or relaxing time at all. I'm not giving less stars because the people who work there are generally friendly. I don't know what was going on that Saturday.

Yelp
Invited to a holiday party at Fogo de Chao sounded like a dream--unlimited food and a generous cocktail menu in a restaurant that truly lives up to its reputation for elegance. Unfortunately, the experience turned into a nightmare. The evening started with a warm welcome, from a friendly staff, who walked us to our party room. As I walked past the salad bar area, I stepped onto a tile flooring and fell hard on my back and injured my knee. Management quickly helped me up, took my information, offered basic remedies and promised someone would follow up about my injuries the next day. I'm a healthy able bodied person and this shouldn't have happened to me. To make matters worse, several women in our group said they almost slipped too and avoided the salad bar out of fear of falling themselves. We determined that the tile is slippery and dangerous depending of the texture of the sole of your shoes. I was in enough pain that I didn't get up for the next 3 hours. The rest of the night was chaotic and uncomfortable. Our tables were so close together that one server would grab the back of my chair, shove me into the table, so she could get past us. I don't think she knew I was injured. Out of frustration, I asked management to please shift our tables away from that wait station. Servers repeatedly brought the same meats -- like parmesan chicken, sausage links, skinny lamb chops and skirt steak, while premium cuts like mignon and prime rib never appeared until the very end of the night. At one point, our host became visibly upset, announcing that the premium meats had yet to be offered while they were taking desert orders. Eventually, I was able to taste the mignon, nothing spectacular to a guest who was no longer interested. But when desserts were served alongside the meats, creating an unpleasant mix of smells, that was not a good moment. Fogo de Chao was not living up to its reputation on so many levels! Perhaps a smaller, more intimate visit might be better, but for me, this experience was awful. Packed up my dessert -- the only food they will let you take home. The next day I had visible, large, painful bruises on my arm, elbow, hip, and knee. No follow-up call, text, email or smoke signal from Fogo de Chao about my fall. It makes me really angry that the only reason they will contact me is because of this negative review.

Yelp
Great food and service. For wait persons, ask for Michael or Dillon. Ask for Lamb chops, beef rib, beef ribeye and filet mognon
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
Helen and Mo provided excellent service! Food and drinks were really delicious! We celebrated a birthday recently and was our first time here. I urge more people to have dinner reservations ready as they get busy-- and it's no secret as to why. We got the full experience for $60 plus drinks and they offered us a complimentary dessert which we appreciate! You can opt for the $39 or $49 deals but you'd be missing out on some epic cuts of meats. I still think the $60 deal is better cause of the fillet mignon, beef ribs & lamb chops . I could eat the beef ribs all day-- sooooo tender and cooked perfectly!

Yelp
I had a great time. Ehab, Yarsa, and Mk Lucas did amazing job for my friend birthday. The environment here was so amazing, it wasn't too loud or too quiet. Also they kept my water filled the whole time 10/10.
google avatar

Yelp
The salad bar is excellent. This can be a meal alone. The staff that service the reception is tentative. The team at our event are Brandon, MK and Helen.

Yelp
We went for lunch on Friday and the meat was so hard and chewy... We've been to so many Brazilian steak houses before and never had meat quality this bad. Some parts were so hard, chewing made my jaw hurt. It was disappointing.
google avatar

Justin S.

Yelp
If you don't wanna do the AYCE Brazilian bbq, they have a nice happy hour bites menu all day on the weekends. Mostly everything is below ~$20 on the HH menu. Food portion is good and the price is amazing. The service however is lacking (notice my 4 star). Will definitely come back for the happy hour bites for sure!

Yelp
Didn't have a reservation, but were able to be seated further away from the kitchen. I believe because of this, we were neglected from the meat walkers. When we did get some meat offers, we got chicken and pork cuts that looked really dry so needless to say, PASS. Service was good, but not too attentive so when we had a chance, we asked them if we could get some lamb or steak. Waited around for those until we couldn't wait any longer so we ended up getting full off of the market table/feijoada bar. After the second plate from the bar, the lamb & steak FINALLY came out but we were dang near full. Total disappointment. This unfortunately wasn't the experience that I expected from this caliber of an establishment and unlikely to return.

Kristella B.

Yelp
My experience here was overall alright. The food was delicious as all of the meats were well seasoned and to my liking. Service was fairly average and the ambiance was nice. Everything was as expected, but probably just not personally my favorite cuisine. Would still recommend to try it at least once though!

Yelp
My party didn't feel like our experience was worth the amount we paid for, especially at this chain Brazilian steakhouse. We were seated near the windows and were skipped by multiple times; it was particularly upsetting since there were several items we had been wanting but could not get a slice of. Thankfully, this changed after we flagged down our waiter and brought the matter to his attention; he promptly notified his manager, and they ensured that future items were brought to our table. I wasn't particularly fond of most of the meat selection, since they weren't as flavorful and tender as I had hoped. We tried everything in the lunch churrasco experience, and I will say that the lamb chop, beef rib, lamb picanha, chicken leg, and caramelized banana were the most satisfactory. I've had better experiences with both food and service at other places, so I probably will not be coming back.

Yelp
Spent my birthday dinner at Fogo de Chao with Leo (server who tended to my table the entire night) and my lovely date. I can't say enough about his level of hospitality & dedication to our fulfilling dining experience with them. At a certain point Leo asked me if I wanted any sauce to dip the meats in, but you honestly don't need it. Everything is Flavorful. Him and the staff of Fogo de Chao also let me order a desert on the house in celebration of my birthday. If you're looking for salad bar recommendations: BYOS (build your own salad), the Greek salad, Feijoada w/rice, Pao de queijo that comes with the table, & then be sure to cop the Roasted potatoes, Grilled cheese with honey drizzle, mushrooms etc that wait staff walk out with once you're ready for the meat to come around. YUM. Do be sure to try one of every meat option though. I fasted all day to make sure I had enough room to fit a bite of everything & I'm glad I did. If you happen to be in the legacy west area & want an upscale buffet style dinner with excellent service, then Fogo is the place to go.

Yelp
Roman, David and Jacob were amazing! They made sure we were served drinks and food at all times and asked us many times what we wanted and brought it out to us.
google avatar

Greg H.

Yelp
This recommendation. Is specific to their lunch/small plates available at the bar. I work nearby and for lunch their exquisite selection of meat is too much for me. Friends and coworkers recently raved about their picana burger they have for lunch available at the bar. It is only $9 and served with potato bites. This is the best value around. I will definitely be back. The service was amazing and surprisingly it was not very crowded for the value and experience received.

Yelp
Trash! Another "concerned call" because of my last review with false promises. Do not waste my time again. Trust, I will not waste mine. These people do not value customers. Take your business to Addison. Much better service, believe me.

Bret B.

Yelp
Firstly, WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT THE ARTWORK! Has anyone else ever noticed the 20 foot installation towering over the dining room??? The art "piece" provided us with lots of giggles! Secondly, and most importantly, the food and service were very good! We went on a double date with some friends and had a great time. Everyone that waited on our table was friendly and attentive. The filet was our favorite!

Yelp
Megan and Nathan were absolutely incredible!! We went in last week with my friend who had never been to Fogo before. Megan explained the entire menu to her in detail! The food was amazing as always but the service was the best I've ever had! I've been to Fogo in McKinney , and Las Vegas. Neither of which compare to the amazing service we had with Megan and Nathan!! We WILL be back!!

Yelp
With all the Churrascarias here in DFW , this is really one of our top favorites. (the other one is B) The food, ambiance, and service is top notch at this location is top notch. The only staff that had a bad attitude was the lady at the reception that seats you to your table. She was not welcoming at all. The market table is always a delight to graze. Always nicely set up with appetizing stuff. I like the cheeses, salad and fresh fruit. Papaya was in season when we visited. For the meats, our favorite meat is the Picanha, Ribeye, fillet mignon. and the lamb chops. They had a few chicken and beef ribs during lunch.

Yelp
Eat, sip, chat and repeat any day of the week, along with amazing cuisine and cocktails. Business meetings, intimate dates and large celebration, all are possible with Fogo de Chão, Legacy West; which consistently offers an upbeat vibe and upscale ambiance for all. Known for superior cuts of meat, spacious accommodations, and wonderful service, the salad bar is worthy of its own Lorenzo Buttram Hubbard review. I prefer to be perched bar side where I can enjoy the amazing service of Jose, my favorite bartender, who treats everyone like family. You'll always find a diverse clientele enjoying lunch, brunch, happy hours and weekend's live music. The membership program is full of perks that add up quickly; be sure to ask one of the friendly managers or host for details; Valet and a conveniently located parking structure make parking easy, so no worries there. I look forward to seeing you soon enjoying a wonderful time with Fogo De Chão; say hello, I love that! Xoxo Lorenzo.

Yelp
Moe, Emily, Nick, Ehab and Michael were fantastic. Nick started us out and explained for us newbies how everything worked and made excellent recommendations. Emily and Moe kept our experience going wonderfully. The bacon wrapped steak was amazing! Fried cheese, candied bacon to die for.. market bar AMAZING. Strawberry Hibiscus drink.... dont get me started. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and more than our team came up to congratulate us making us feel so special. It was so amazingly wonderful and memorable. Thank you so much for the great service and wonderful food.

Dave P.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance. Excellent service by Ana, Andria, and Ehab. The food was amazing. The salad bar is consistent (the variety of cheeses and peppers, the hearts of palm, tabbouleh, beets, the 2 different types of bean salads and the seasonal fruits) with a soup station (tomato soup - creamy). The baked cheese with honey, mashed potatoes, and the pao are great. The previous items are usually neglected because of the meat! The filet, picanha, ribs (dinner), and lamb chops/picanha are usually the focus. But, it is hard to eat the churrascaria every day. So, you can alternate it with just the market salad bar. Portion size should not be an issue..
google avatar

John K.

Yelp
This bar is a unique concept for Fogo. most churrascaria bars are merely a holding area for customers waiting to be seated for dining. Fogo has made an effort to change this by making this bar a separate destination so it deserves its own review. Atmosphere is upscale. Staff is friendly when they are not busy. They have happy hour pricing An al-la-carte menu Live music on weekends Very roomy, with lots of additional seating in a once outdoor, mow enclosed patio. Awkward bar design with three connected extensions that cannot be accessed by the bartender so would be better as separate tables. Picanha burger is my favorite. Flavorful and reasonably priced. Happy hour pricing for select house cocktails all evening in the bar area only. Complimentary pao de queijo (cheese bread), and candied bacon. Service is inconsistent: sometimes it is great, but when it gets busy, it is not so good. They often close the bar area for private parties which I find annoying because unless I call ahead every time, there is no way to know until I valet my car, walk in and have them turn me away. After having this happen to me three times on two weeks, I decided not to go back for awhile. I really don't understand why they turn other customers away because there is still plenty of room to serve them. I am no longer a regular customer, but I'll still give it a try now and then.

Yelp
Pros: + Great staff - The servers were so sweet about remembering our preferences. Since I don't eat a lot of red meat, they made sure to come by whenever they had my favorites - especially the lamb meatballs and the lamb chops + Great Market side table - it's a great price if you want a quick lunch. My favorite item on there was the brazillian vinegrette + Sides are heavenly - be sure to ask since they initially forgot to bring ours. Save room for the pao de queso and the bananas. Those were by far my favorites! + Desserts - I really wanted the tres leches cake. However, they were out of it when we came by. Instead they were so sweet to give us a molten chocolate lava cake on the house. IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

Yelp
My birthday dinner got off to a horrible start. We checked in around 7:15 with our reservation being at 7:30 with a party of 13 this past Saturday. We waited over an hour and a half to be seated due to them over booking themselves. Once we were seated, they did go above and beyond to TRY and make up for the long wait, but unfortunately, the shortcomings did not stop with 3 of our 13 people not doing the full meat experience two of the persons had to send their dish's back due to it being severely burnt, and then the other didn't even receive their meal and had to remind the server due to them forgetting about her meal and wanting to get it taken off the bill since she did not get it. Other than that, the food was great, but I don't think we will be returning to this restaurant for a very long time due to the long wait times (EVEN WITH A RESERVATION!), issue with the food, and honestly not feeling like we got good value for our money.

Yelp
Went for ladies lunch with 5 friends . Food was great. Service was excellent. Mo and Jacob provided best service ever.

Yelp
Technically, we went for my brother's birthday, but him and I have birthdays four days apart, so we both celebrated. He picked this place over his favorite Brazilian, cause he wanted to try something different and we hadn't been to a Fogo in 10-15 years. Let's just say he's really upset and disappointed and basically said his birthday was ruined. Oof. We had a reservation at 2, so we could get the dinner options, but we showed up a few minutes early and were given the brunch menu instead. We thought it was gonna be the same but cheaper so, so that was fine... Until it wasn't. The brunch was super picked over and the omelette person had already left and everything was basically cold and gone... But it took them at least 30 minutes if not more to switch it out for the dinner options and by then we were already pretty full, but unsatisfied with our choices that we had to make based on what was left. My mom just got the salad bar, but based on the little amount of options, I swear she only ate about five dollars worth, but of course still paid full price. I ordered an entrée, but while I was waiting for it, I grabbed a salad and the waitress ran over and told me that the salad wasn't included. I asked her to cancel my entrée then and I would just get the salad bar myself. But the menu distinctly says The salad bar and all sides are included with the brunch entrées, so that was shady. I just didn't feel like arguing. But it was literally on the menu right in front of her. And she should know better. The drastic price differences between lunch, brunch, and dinner are arbitrary too since the offerings are no different (except some brunch items). I ordered one martini, but a second one was brought to the table unasked for... They did take it away, but they forgot to take it off the bill until we reminded them. They were out of the dessert my brother wanted, which was the cherry on top that tipped him off to really being upset and felt like he wasted a birthday dinner. I was given a dessert, but I ordered the papaya cream and it didn't come with the Cassis on top, which was weird??? It was bland. It's also kind of annoying that you're only allowed to use one birthday coupon. It's not our fault that our birthdays are so close together. But appreciate we at least got the one discount. Not trying to sound cheap or ungrateful, just saying, it does screw the other person or people over if you celebrate with multiple bdays. They actually forgot to apply the $25 off as well, we had to ask for that a second time when they took the second martini off. The bathroom had a broken stall, no toilet paper in a second, and no soap in one of the dispensers. The tap water smelled funny. And the waitress kept pouring water refills over the carpet so it would spill over the carpet?! It was weird. And they do try to trick you into getting spring or sparkling water without mentioning the additional charge. They also hardly had anybody coming around for the meat. My brother and his girlfriend waited with empty plates almost the entire time we were there. It did pick up more at the end. But they like medium rare and a lot of what they were given was well done. They also said it was very salty. And repetitive options. Some of the vegetables on the salad bar were inedibly salty as well. The waitress asked us which sides she could bring to the table, and I said we'll take one of all of them, she gave me a look like that was the stupidest, weirdest, most greedy thing she had ever heard. Bro, you literally have three sides, calm down. By the way, the mashed potatoes we were given, like maybe one portion for a table of four and they looked like they came from a box. Ironically, we only ate a little bit of bread, but they kept it coming and coming. I think we ate like five to six pieces total between the four of us and I swear they brought us at least 40. Only kind of exaggerating. The music is so loud you can't hear the person next to you. And it's so bright for a fancy, intimate restaurant. I did like the light fixtures though lol. Don't think we'll be back.

Yelp
Excellent service, the waiters were very interactive, everybody was very kind and explanatory to the things I didn't understand. Shoutout to Helen, Gabe, and Micheal for serving us!

Yelp
Michael and Gwen did awesome! Will be back soon! Loved the bananas and the steak. Drink was good but a little too much fruit in it.

Yelp
Great job Leo!! Good job all around and the food/atmosphere/service was great! Best sale bar in Texas.

Yelp
We come here every year and the service and food is always great. But I just learned a new trick. Recently, I have been trying to watch what I have been eating, and I decided to order the Market Table (Salad Bar) and one meat entree, which is nearly 1/2 the cost of the all-you-can-dine option. The waiter recommended the FOGO $44, which is just $5 more than the single meat entree and you get a much broader selection. If it is still available, GO FOR IT! I have to say, this was a great recommendation, and I may never go back to the all-you-can-eat. It does not include the beef ribs, ribeye, filet mignon, and lamb chops. (Which the Filet Mignon barely makes it's round anyway.) But you can have everything else. Honestly, I am really most interested in the house specialty - Picanha anyway. This is what you get for the FOGO $44. Picanha (Prime Part of the Top Sirloin) - MY PERSONAL FAV Alcatra (Top Sirloin) Fraldinha (Bottom Sirloin) Medalhoes com Bacon (Bacon- Wrapped Chicken, Bacon-Wrapped Steak) Cordeiro (Lamb Picanha) Lombo (Pork) Torresmo (Pork Belly) Linguica (Spicy Pork Sausage) Bisteca de Porco (Double Bone-In Pork Chop) Frango (Chicken) Queijo Assado (Fire-Grilled Brazilian Cheese) - SUPER YUMMY Market Table @ Feijoda Bar (HECK YA!) All the sides AND choice of a dessert - Tres Leches Crème Brûlée Chocolate Brigadeiro This place is huge.

Yelp
Super friendly staff. Meat quality and taste were inconsistent but always hot and sizzling when served. Salad bar offering was plenty, and quite a number of dishes were very tasty. Overall it was a very pleasant lunch experience. Our host Emily was excellent! High ceiling, spacious and calm interior. Can't give 5 stars due to meat quality.

Yelp
The place is nice, we came for the best of Brazil deal they were doing. When we were seated, our waitress asked us if it was our first time, we replied yes, and the proceeded to attempt to tell us how everything worked. However, her explanation was not very good and left us confused. The waitress did not tell us that we had to flip the card over to get the meat to come to our table, so we were sitting for about 15 minutes wondering why they were passing our table. Very weird and unorganized. Also, they got our reservation mixed up and had to ask us for our name in the middle of dinner..? Not sure what happened but was also weird regardless. Food was pretty good overall, would get the steak/beef over chicken or pork, since I found chicken and pork pretty dry. The steaks are more tender and their chimichurri is good. I also enjoyed their mashed potatoes and plantains, which stood out to me. Also their bacon from the sides bar is unique. Another weird service thing was that our waitress asked if we wanted more plantains, we said yes, never got them. Later she asked if we wanted anything else, we reiterated the plantains and still never got it by the time our check came and we just left. Would probably only be back if there's another good deal, kind of cannot imagine paying full price for what we got. Overall okay, but not what I was expecting from a higher end dining place, maybe another location is better?

Yelp
I would love to know who manages this place. We had a reservation for Mother's Day dinner. 7:30 PM. We arrived to what looked like an absolute nightmare of a crowd. The hostess stand was so swamped with angry customers that had been waiting forever to be seated that we couldn't even Check in. People around us were complaining that they had reservations, but we're waiting an hour plus. The hostesses looked absolutely frazzled. They were telling customers they were 45 min behind. I'm pretty sure they even violated the fire code with the amount of people that were packed into the lobby and restaurant. People outside that had dined there said they waited an hour past reservation time and that the food was terrible. Luckily another Brazilian steakhouse up the street had openings and we went there instead to avoid the sinking ship. Really disappointing that a place of this stature wouldn't have it together on one of the busiest days of the year. You clearly overbooked and gave no regard to your customers today. I will not even bother coming back another time

Yelp
The selection of meats brought to our table was limited. We didn't get our sides and seasonings until almost the end of dinner. Meat stopped coming to our table inexplicably, so we paid the tab and left. There were six of us, and between bar and dinner, we spent $800. It was not that level of experience. There are other churrascarias out there for less with a better experience.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Fogo de Chao and we were there to celebrate our birthday. The food was really good and very filling. The options were great and I honestly appreciate the quantity of food at the buffet. It was not too much or too little, which was perfect. I really enjoyed the cocktails (cucumber mint cocktail was my fave by far) and their Brazilian lemonade is quite tasty as well. We enjoyed the ambiance of the place, it was definitely upscale and very comfortable. The space can get just a tad bit tight when too many people are in the restaurant but otherwise it wasn't a struggle to get around Overall service was decent. Nothing really stood out there. Overall, it's a really good place, especially if you're coming to celebrate a special occasion. We definitely plan to visit again!

Yelp
This review is for MARCO and James. Marco was not our waiter, just a gaucho like several others, but he went out of his way to make our experience better. He noticed we didn't have small meat plates and got them for us himself. Which I was grateful for since the first cut of meat was somewhat rare and getting meat juice all over my fruit. He noted that I asked for a smaller than average cuts of medium-well done beef options and made sure that's what I got without me having to ask every time. Aside from being awesome with us, I saw that he was very efficient with his time and was kind to everyone he served. James came around near the middle-end of our meal (we got there right at opening) and asked if we'd like bananas. Which I had forgotten about, and was pleased to be reminded of. He assisted with our check and helped me find where I could write a review for Marco. He was just genuinely nice and helpful and deserved his own shout out. As for the food - they did have a couple new items I haven't seen before. Duck - which was nicely done, still moist and flavorful. And fried pork belly (didn't try).
