Absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. My partner adored the octopus. The beef wellington was the best I have eaten. The food came out at a good pace and it was great to try some new foods. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Krakow.

It's all about the balance between price and flavour when it comes to restaurant reviews for me. The service was absolutely amazing, our water was giving us all the information needed and was very attentive and caring. Food quality was topnotch, but flavour was lacking. Most of the dishes needed elevating the taste. I wish all the luck to them on their path to getting michlein 🌟.

Probably the nicest meal I’ve had, the tuna starter, sea bream and tiramisu was amazing, our waiter was great and accommodated to my allergy, super friendly and made amazing recommendations. Once again amazing food and service - I can’t believe this isn’t more popular amongst tourists on social media! I don’t think I’ll stop thinking about how delicious the food was. The price for the food was super affordable, for 1 starter (shared), 2 mains, and 1 dessert (shared) as-well as water and 5 alcoholic drinks we paid £103, including a 10% service tip. ( I forgot to take a picture of the starter)

The value for money is quite poor here - we tried almost the full dinner menu to form our opinion, and all the dishes were quite disappointing, not sure how it got into the Michelin Guide - too much salt, oil and butter - if it's a starter or a main, or sugar - if it's a dessert, "balance and seasonality" - it's not something that's taken into consideration here. The non-alcoholic drinks menu is completely overlooked too. The service is average and the atmosphere is unremarkable. Considering the price point and the ambition that the restaurant conveys, I'd say, there are far better options for fine dinning in Krakow. UPD since the reply from FOLGA: 1. I did not delete my review - I edited it a few times. Perhaps Google shows it as deleted and re-added. 2. I write my reviews when I have time, not as soon as I visit a place. If the standards of the cooking and the menu have changed in a month - that’s great news. I did however share my experience at the time. Hope it’s useful for people who are considering spending their money at FOLGA.

A very nice restaurant in Krakow for us. It does play with some modern and international elements but it stays very much within tasty scope rather than focusing on decoration and pricy food options. The middle eastern Jewish appetizers (chopped liver, hummus, baba ganoush) were good, not really authentic but with a reasonable twist. Labneh with pumpkin was their own and a touch insufficient in actual labneh taste to be called that. Onion soup was beautiful, not too heavy and with very sharp concentrated flavor. Loved it. The venison burger was gorgeous and certainly a highlight. Perfectly executed, not overdone and very well balanced. Service was excellent, very professional and courteous. Quite good, we are likely to be back next time we are in Krakow.

A beautiful evening with exceptional food but the experience was really made perfect by our server, David, who was friendly, attentive, funny and shared excellent recommendations for our wine and food. Thanks for a perfect meal! Everyone must try the sea bream and truffle pasta, and the tuna ceviche these were the best dishes!

There are many TOP restaurants in Krakow, but if you want something really special, you have to give a chance to enjoy an explosion of tastes, serving dinner or lunch here at FOLGA. Delightful food, nice and knowledgeable staff. Great experience at all!!! I will come back.

Wow, the best restaurant in Krakow!! I don't think I can compare any foods in the US. I ordered the Mackerel for appetizer, which was more than excellent. Not too acidic, perfect balance, mayo was great!!! I am still thinking about this appetizer overall, the best 👌

It was a nice restaurant. Michelin star restaurant. My favorite truffle was the theme of the dinner. As starter, we had shaved truffles over Buffalo cheese and basil, and Jewish caviar. Entree roasted lamb and tagliatelle with generous portion of truffles. Not sure If it was one of the most memorable food but it was fine. Millfielle was disappointing. The baked shell was bit on tougher cracker ish side when it should be more like flakey.

Came in on the whim and so glad we did. The food was fresh, prepared well and simply delicious. You can taste the quality of each ingredient and so perfectly paired together as well. The burrata was simply amazing and I'm not generally a fan of cheese. The yellow fin tuna ceviche was very clean and fresh with an initial tartness but quickly balanced with great flavor. If you're craving a pasta dish the rigatoni with shrimp was to die for, I could eat it everyday. Finally on special they offered a dover sole which was moist yet grilled with a crispy exterior, very good! We asked our server to surprise us with dessert and he brought out an apricot pie dessert with ice cream and let's just say the plate was eaten clean. This is a definite go to if you're in the area!
