This bar is fantastic (and shares a name with the best Taylor Swift album...) - the cocktails are all incredible and the bartenders like to explain the origins of the drinks, which is very cool to learn. The cocktails are beautiful and the service is so lovely. We actually liked this place so much that we went there two nights in a row. (Their bar snacks were delicious honey-persimmons... also incredible)

Great hidden spot for sake and shochu based cocktails. They were very accommodating and managed to sit us inside while the bar was full already. Drinks are well executed and well balanced, with some interesting flavour profiles. Very cozy and intimate atmosphere.

If you are interested in sake or soju based cocktail, this is definitely the best choice in Ginza. I ordered the sake omakase course which includes the following. - fruit based sake with Jasmine tea - season featured fruit based sake cocktail (i take the Muscat grape) - sour and seaweed sake (you could choose two out of five flavors - strawberry sake cocktail - raw sake with honey (with rice) With this order, you could experience different kinds of sake. The bartender and waiters are all patient and would like to share the backgrounds of balancing the cocktails.

What a great experience. Sake cocktail and snack pairings were all amazing. Staff were friendly, kind, knowledgable and made the overall experience one of the best in Tokyo.

Almost hidden, but like a lovely Easter surprise when you find the place and enter it. The hype goes on as you select your menu choice, Each item comes with a hint of showmanship and the element of surprise is part of it. I had a three course sake cocktail omakase and went in to order another one more drinks. Drinks were well concocted and everything comes together nicely. Don’t go there hungry for food because there are limited choices. But do go there with an appetite for the cocktails.

tucked away in a hidden corner of the city, folklore is a bar that effortlessly combines exquisite cuisine with a mesmerizing atmosphere. from the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an aesthetic ambiance that feels like stepping into a beautifully lit tunnel, enveloped in a soothing, almost magical aura. despite being a bit on the expensive side, the food and drinks at folklore are worth every penny. i opted for a refreshing lemonade, while my friends enjoyed their wine, each glass presented with impeccable attention to detail. the drinks were not only delicious but also a visual treat, adding to the overall charm of the experience. the bar itself smelled incredible, a blend of delightful aromas that complemented the inviting decor. the atmosphere was tranquil and soothing, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing evening. it’s not a place for loud conversations, but it certainly allows for easy, comfortable chatter among friends. one of the highlights of our visit was the impeccable service. one of the staff members spoke perfect english, which was a great relief for us as tourists. their warm hospitality and attentiveness made us feel right at home. we were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary snacks, a thoughtful touch that added to our delightful experience. finding folklore might be a bit of a challenge, but the effort is well worth it. its unique, calming environment, coupled with top-notch food and drink, makes it a must-visit destination. whether you're a local looking for a new favorite spot or a traveler seeking an unforgettable dining experience, folklore is a gem that promises to leave a lasting impression.

Great spot for unique, creative sake and shōchū cocktails at a relatively reasonable price. The bar is dark and intimate and the bartenders are knowledgeable and careful in preparing your drinks.
