After reading about Followsoshi and seeing all the great photos on Yelp, I was intrigued and slightly salivating...ok, ok more like drooling (lol). So, of course, the first chance I got, I went searching for Followsoshi! Hint: it's a small food stand right next door to Corner 28 (they share an entryway).
I went specifically for their Peking Duck Jian Bing...sadly, they were out of duck!!!! Noooo, how could this be, at 1pm on a Sunday?!?! Ok, I was disappointed for a minute but quickly chose two other Jian Bings to try: Braised Pork (#G on Jian Bing Menu) and the Ancient Spiced Beef (#D). They were both absolutely delicious and had completely different tastes. The Jian Bings are made fresh, to order but are made pretty quickly (see my photos). Hospitality and service was friendly & efficient.
Note: if not eating the Jian Bing immediately, ask them to pack the ingredients separately. (They will pack the crunchy ingredients in a separate container). This will make the biggest difference when you eat this later. The crunchy goodness really adds great texture to the Jian Bing.
I have to admit, this was a hot mess to eat, so expect to get down n dirty...and enjoy every single morsel! So worth it!
I shall definitely be back, and I hope they have the Peking Duck available next time! Followsoshi!! :)
