When I moved to the Heights area, I sought a place to play Ping-Pong. I left a message on the Nextdoor app, and a guy named Maxie directed me to this facility. I couldn't have asked for more. The folks there were so friendly, and all of them were good ping-pong players. The staff were friendly, and I felt welcome. Thank you all.

Nice safe place for you to play some basketball indoor in a safe environment or use the gym here for some weight lifting or attend Taekwondo class here. This place is under the city of Houston jurisdiction.

The Basketball Cathedral of Houston. Has the DNA of basketball legends within its floors. As historic as Rucker Park is to New Jersey.

Fonde Recreational Center volunteer staff members were approachable hospitable to visitors and other colleagues. I observed staff members smiling and engaged in guest experience. I had multiple guests coming at different times and I was able to be recognized by staff member to have a smooth transition for all guests who attended. Case commissioner of NEX ProAm League was approachable, attentive, and easy to communicate with. He was willing to give history of the Fonde Recreational Center to gain awareness of organization. I am looking forward to coming here more often to events in the upcoming year. Thank you, volunteers, staff, and commissioner for a wonderful greeting to make everyone inclusive to this family environment event.

Fond has it all. It has weights, parking, and nice outdoor activities. Gotta love the courts!

Cool spot. Weight room is decent. Could use a couple of cardio machines. There's literally none. It'd also be nice if the had a social media page where they could update their schedule. Sucks to show up and find out your scheduled event is canceled.
