"“Farm-to-table” restaurant Food 101 closed in March after nearly 20 years. The restaurant opened in 1999 in Sandy Springs, followed by a second location in 2006 in Morningside on North Highland Avenue. That location was eventually purchased by chef Ron Eyester, Food 101’s executive chef at the time, who changed the restaurant’s name to Rosebud. Eyester sold Rosebud and neighboring The Family Dog in 2015." - Beth McKibben

My overall experience here was fantastic! I have driven by this spot, but decided to meet a friend here and give it a try finally. Everyone was super friendly. My waitress was so sweet, talkative, and joked around with us. Peer, I think he was a manager or something like it, made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout our time there. The White Peach Sangria was delicious! I would go back just for that :) I went on a Monday night, so it was slower. All the food came out perfectly cooked and the flavor couldn't have been better. I recommend their brussel sprout appetizer to start with because they were some of the best I have had. If you like fish, you should try the Grouper Paradis. The 8 oz filet was cooked to perfection and the sides for both dishes were yummy.

This is my second and last visit. My first visit was excellent but the menu is a joke. Who pairs lumpy cheese grits with chicken n waffles. The grits were not good. My brunch companion ordered shrimp and grits. Hidden under the tomato sauce and onions were 3 shrimp. So in essence it was more like grits and shrimp than shrimp and grits.

We came here due to another restaurant having an hour and a half wait. I would’ve given it a 3.5 star if I could. Not because of the service, but because of the portion size. I got 1/2 of a waffle, which was just ok. The chicken and the cheese grits were good though. I typically don’t even order grits, but it came wit the meal and almost made up for the other half of my missing waffle. I was confused about the gravy that came with it, but the waitress explained that it was for the chicken. It tasted good, but I stuck with the hot sauce. I couldn’t help, but notice how they incorporated cotton into the decor. That is was...interesting to say the least. Other than that, there was no wait time and ample parking.

New fall menu items coming the week of Oct 9th. Sat on the patio enjoying a gorgeous sunset and perfect weather. We had the blackberry balsamic short ribs and Georgia peach & fennel halibut, both Divine and perfectly paired with the willamette valley Pinot noir! If your truly Southern, you must taste the pimento cheese & bacon jam and the fried green tomatoes.

After years of driving by this place my boyfriend and I tried it out. The food was very average. We ordered a charcuterie board and that was pretty good. We also enjoyed our cocktails. The calamari did not have any flavor on its own. The ginger dressing that came with it was decent; it really made the dish. We didn't order anything else after that because the calamari was such a let down. Their food was a bit pricey for the quality as well. Would maybe go back for drinks if I was in the area, but definitely not for food. The bartenders were very friendly.

In previewing the menu online, I was really looking forward to trying this place for lunch. I wasn't disappointed. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. I had the blackened shrimp salad and the fried green tomatoes; my companion had the grilled chicken salad. The service was excellent and the environment pleasant and casual. I look forward to coming back.

Great servings, quick service and delicious food. Very accommodating for our circumstances and even got a free glass of wine. Every appetizer had a different flavor with each bite. Servers make sure that have a full glass and warm food
