Definitely some of the best food I have eaten in our area and in this last year, wish had heard about earlier so delicious, reasonable prices awesome specials fantastic very professional and capable, helpful and knowledgeable team members, love the cozy atmosphere and fun decor, pleasant jazz themed soundtrack! Can't wait to get back, gotta become a regular want to try all the delectable looking dishes on impressive menu, highest recommendations!! 😃 Perfect for family, also would be a great spot to bring a date, we enjoyed the heck out of beans and rice+breaded pork chop and creole chicken pasta the onion rings are also superlative. You won't regret a trip here I'm certain of it, worth visiting on special occasions (was my birthday, perfect treat!) or adding to regular rotation!

Great place for a traditional New Orleans meal! Yummy food and friendly people! We tried the gumbo and the chicken and waffles, and we loved it all!

Strawberry lemonade was great Food was great. Even took my leftovers and ordered more sides to go with it. Everything was so good. The service was great! The atmosphere was great! Worth the drive from Denham Springs. Definitely a hidden gem everyone should try. We will definitely be back. My new go to when I'm down.

The food is amazing. What they do is take basic New Orleans cuisines and perfect them. The fried chicken wings are crispy and juicy (no sickness like how when you eat at popeyes due to oil) with or without the flavor sauces. But if you have to pick a flavor, Buffalo sauce is my favorite. I'm a sucker for red bean and rice, and I have to say theirs surpasses my expectation. It came short on the amount of sausage we get, but the quality made up for it. Every other review says the atmosphere is great. The reason is that the waitress there who served us is top-notch at what she does. I'll be back for sure. What to try: Chicken wings

Just based on food, I give it 4 stars because I didn't dine in. I ordered the fried ribs and the seafood platter with fried fish, fried shrimp, crab cake, fries, and mustard greens. The portions were great, I was able to share with my son and had leftovers. LOVED the mustard greens! Yummmm. I thought the food was battered perfectly and wasn't over or under seasoned 👍

Amazing food! The grilled catfish was delicious the fried ribs were amazing. Definitely suggest eating here! Something as simple as their corn they made it tastes exquisite. Awesome job guys thank you so much and keep up the good work!

Food was delish! I ordered takeout on Uber eats and I’ll be back to order takeout for my employees and I. I liked how they didn’t add too much salt since I’m salt sensitive. The fried ribs was my favorite with the sweet heat sauce. I’ll have to order this again and try it with their red beans and rice. Their crawfish pasta portion was a lot and the grilled fish was delish. Crab cakes was good also.

While searching for some great food, came cross this restaurant after being the area. I must say they did not skip a beat, food was amazing and service was great. Definitely will return, also the owner was very appreciative.

I have no complaints, just one suggestion. When i arrived today i was greeted very warmly by the staff. The place has a nice old school vibe. I placed my order and waited a reasonable amount of time for my food. I didn't taste it until I arrived home. The fish is seasoned to perfection. The greens are excellent and the potato salad is fine. My only suggestion is that the greens should've been in a separate container because they were so wet the potato salad and the fish got wet too. but everything taste excellent.

The food was EXCEPTIONAL and BEYOND belief!! The VERY Best Creole and Southern food we ever had!! Service was exceptional. The restaurant outside upon arrival is deceiving! The BEST found food ever! Absolutely worth the visit whether you carryout, DoorDash, or eat in! We will definitely be back on our next NOLA visit,

Monday night. So many places closed. Not wanting fast food. Not wanting to drive across the river or even over to Manhattan blvd. I wanted a nice quiet locally owned place that served real food. Imagine my surprise when I found one that was doors down from my vets office. From the outside I am not sure what I was expecting. But, it definitely was not what greeted me. Clean, nicely decorated, subdued lighting, enjoyable music in the background. And the customer service to shame those places on the other side of the river. The old hippy had the Cajun chicken, and he admitted it was as good as any he has ever had. That is his go to dish. And with two of his favorite sides greens and green beans. The serving was more then ample. All of it was seasoned just right. I had the two pork chops and 2 sides entree. with greens and sweet potatoes. As I told the young man if I had been home I would have been gnawing in those bones they were that good. As for our beverages. 2 lemonades. They were not a dry powder mix they were fresh made lemonade and they were perfectly sweetened. Side note. Do you know how you can tell you have a chef who knows what they are doing? They don't put the salt and pepper on the table. Because everything comes to you seasoned and perfection. Ok. That alone deserves the five stars. But there should be an extra star for above average service. Our waiter a young gentleman was in point. He knew our needs before we were even aware we had them. His polite demeanor and engaging smile made the entire experience one well worth repeating. I have only one regret. I did not know this place was here until today. Because I will be back with out a doubt. Eat locally. Eat mom and pop places. Step out of the chain food syndrome and enjoy the real flavors of how good should taste. I am so glad we did.

Our Food was amazing. My daughter loved her sweet heat wings. My fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. My husbands red beans and rice plate was also great. We tried gumbo for the first time (from Ky) and we loved that it didn't have shrimp and it had great flavor. We will be back on our next trip to New Orleans.

This is such a wonderful spot that is family owned and worked. They have some of the best and most delicious food available on the Westbank. I got to try both the Buffalo with Twist & the Louise Fried Chicken Wings and I will say they were beyond delicious! Everything came to the table hot and fresh out the grease along with a side order of fries. I look forward to going on a Monday to try the red beans and rice special which is ONLY $9.99 and comes with fried chicken which I have heard nothing but aaaaaaamazing reviews and I also heard happy hour which happens ONLY on Friday's is PHONENOMAL with drinks mixed by the one and only Boozy Chicks and 25% off appetizers They offer FREE WI-FI!!!! Beautiful black owned establishment that takes honest pride in everything they doing and constantly looking for ways to improve the overall customer experience. I see such great potential in this business as it ever so apparent that the owners are passionate and actually wanna grow and get better which is amazing. My biggest suggestion from a marketing and brand awareness perspective is the signage will need to be updated, I do feel the brand logo for Food Symphony needs to be revisited, possibly with a bolder font to ensure that it can be clearer seen especially from outside when the signage is updated. The building that it in which is sort of a shopping center type does not clearly have the actually address anywhere to make it aware that someone that is using GPS is at the 4001 block address so it could be quite confusing for someone that might not be from the area. It is understood that most of this is being sorted out and I looked forward to a bright future for this place It's a known fact that when the owners are present, the business be ran with dignity and it was very apparent upon my visit. Can't wait to go back!

my family and i had the greatest experience! one of our first restaurants to eat since down here and it was a 10/10 experience. food was amazing! our serve Kelly was so sweet and attentive! highly recommend

Recently visited from California. I was with about 10 other relatives and we just came from an excursion and we're starving. The food was great. I ordered the seafood platter and the crab cakes were amazing. The service was great and i was excited that it did not take a long time for our table to receive our dishes. The whole vibe was nice as well. I enjoyed the music and they bathrooms were clean... that's always a plus :)

Wow. Just wow. That red beans and rice make me wanna go save a cat out of a tree. Just a dish that makes you wanna go spread the good word around town. The service was awesome and everybody was so nice and welcoming. It's a monday must.

Some of the best seafood we had while in town. Menu had enough choices for picky eaters. Everything we ordered was delicious.

Food Symphony is home cooking at its finest! Everything is freshly made and seasoned to perfection. We ordered crawfish cheesy bread, honey barbecue wings, and bayou pasta with grilled fish. The food was heavenly, we literally ate everything and left nothing behind. Every single bite had so much flavor, we caught ourselves saying "mmmm that's so good" a million times. The wings were crispy and meaty, the sauce on it was finger licking good. The grilled fish was seasoned perfectly! The pasta was creamy and full of shrimp and crawfish. The cheesy bread paired so well with our pasta. I loved the family feel of this restaurant. The dad and sons were there running the show. Everyone was so polite and made us feel so welcomed. The dad, who is the chef, even came out and asked us how the food tasted. This restaurant needs a standing ovation for the delicious meals they are cooking. I can't wait to be back!

Stopped in on our way back to NOLA from our Air Boat Tour and were glad we did. Service was wonderful. We started with the Cheesy Cajun Crawfish Fries and they were great. Bayou Pasta with Fried Fish, Pork Chops with Sweet Potato Fries & Peas, Shrimp Po'Boy with Mac n Cheese & Grilled Shrimp Plate with Mustard Greens & Candied Yams - all delicious! Highly recommend!

Nothing special.. i stopped in for lunch. Today's special Was smothered pork chops w/ mash potatoes and gravy, green beans, potato salad and bread. The plate was pretty much filled with mash potatoes. There were 2 huge scopes of mash covered by the chop and gravy. The potato salad was very good tho. that the only positive i have. The Pork chop lacked season, the string beans were from a can, the gravy was just okay it taste like it was out of a pack but I'm not sure. And the corn bread was cute but it was just plain ole' jiffy. There's so many soul food places in the city they will have to be more creative and tasty to get my attention.

The location is hidden in a strip mall. The restaurant is trying for a jazzy vibe, but really just feels like a regular locally owned place. The food was good and our waitress was great. It was slow when we arrived so we walked right in and were seated. This was a good, easy place to stop.

This place is amazing they have friendly service and you get great food for a reasonable price. The portions are amazing and I have yet to have a bad experience here. They are attentive and caring, an if your doing takeout they are super fast!

This restaurant is actually quite close to me; I'm glad that I searched for something new. I did a take out but the dining room looks nice. It would make a nice event place for a family styled party. The food was flavorful. I wanted red beans and rice today and they served me a nice container of red beans, rice, chicken wings, and a small cornbread loaf. This was an impromptu stop so I had to wait for a few minutes, but this meant everything was hot when I received it.

So so yummy! We visited earlier this year and had such a wonderful experience. I still talk about the chicken wings to this day. So crunchy with delicious sauces. We had left overs and they remained crunchy and juicy the next day after being microwaved. The gentlemen who I believe was the owner was so friendly and welcoming.

PERFECT!!! We'd never had Cajun, Creole, or Southern food before and this was the perfect introduction. The bayou pasta was delish, and the red beans and rice was flavorful and perfectly filling. The gentleman serving us (the owner?) was totally cool and helped us figure out what to order. Grateful for this place!

HOLY MOLY BATMAN THIS PLACE IS PHENOMENAL!!! I was looking for something new and different to try and I stumbled upon them while searching Waitr and Uber Eats. I read some reviews, looked at the menu, but still wasn't sure how for them. I am so happy I pulled the trigger and went with them! I've been craving a good seafood pasta for months; I've tried so many places but they all came up short. Food Symphony's Bayou Pasta is one of the best pasta dishes I've had in years. We also ordered the crawfish bread appetizer, it was really good, but nothing to go crazy about. It ended up being kind of dry, but I dipped it in my pasta cause I'm fat like that. The seafood platter seemed a little skimpy, but TOTALLY WORTH IT! It was a kinda warm in there, but I think the a/c may have been out. If not, I'll stick to Togo food. The dinning room is a little strange. It didn't feel very welcoming, but it could have been because it was my first time there. It's decorations are very simple, blacks, silvers, and blues. A lovely classic color combination. All in all, the food was top notch, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was humbly elegant. I will 100% be returning, possibly as soon as tomorrow.

The best wings on the west bank. Each time I've gone the food is fresh, the restaurant is clean, and customer service is top notch.

We went on a swamp tour the day we were leaving New Orleans and wanted some yummy food to leave the state with. Don't let the outside fool you, this food was really good. We all got something different and it was all very good. The people were very friendly as well. We stayed in the French quarter for 9 days and this food is better than lots of the food we ate there. Try it out!!!!

Went here for the 1st time today and the food was AMAZING! I had the sweet heat and buffalo wings w a twist , crawfish bread , potato salad , and their tropical punch . I'll definitely be back AND recommending others to support this local business

I have been to Food Symphony quite a few times dine in and take out definitely is a hidden gem! Service is great, food is prompt and hot. I haven't tried anything I didn't like but I still have to explore the menu more! My co worker and I have no complaints. I also love the customer service as they are very attentive and caring with wanting to please their customers. Would recommend this restaurant to give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.
